Ayako Katamura's Story
Ayako Katamura continued to grasped her weapon, before she slid her weapon back into it's holster, the leather enveloping the polymer materials of the pistol. "If the Empress wasn't away." She said before she started to approach Hayashi.
"A Nation who aids and abets, offers comfort to a rebellion is an enemy of the people that the rebellion fights, an unjust rebellion led by power hungry Shoguns looking to expand their realms." She then narrowed her eyes.
"An island nation that risks everything siding with the wrong people." Her eyes then shifted for a moment as Colin walked into the bar. But she paid no heed.
"This rebellion has caused many problems with the Empire."

"This rebellion has caused many problems with the Empire."
Ayako Katamura paused for a moment. "So we both were deceived by the Shogunate." She said as she nodded. "They had us carry out their will in the name of the Empire, I will not be so blind next time..." She then slowly moved to sit.
"With the war here tapering off, it is a good thing, however the war has progressed back on Niihama, as Shogunate forces try to overpower and topple Imperial Forces." She said with a nod.
"I apologize for the misunderstanding."

Ayako Katamura growled aboard the ITN Kaze no Tani, a Shokaku Class Carrier as it drifted through orbit. "Damn Meson cannons.." She muttered then rose up from her chair. "3rd fleet on me, we're going to go in, nice and easy... anything that so much as looks suspicious I want burned to the ground." She said as she grasped the railing and pointed to the planet below. "All ships form up on me, I don't care what Vanko says let's put an end to this crap." She said, nodding, and scanners in Center 9, and Halo space watching arrays would find roughly 1,500 Taiyou ships, Shogun battleships lining up in a grid formation.
It was a sight to behold, choreographed ship maneuvering, all of them bearing their main cannons towards the planet.
It was then the Commandant spoke. "Target the following-- Argentina.. Brazil.. Ecuador... Mexico.. Columbia.. Orbital Standard, Seige pattern Gamma." She said aloud, all of the Taiyou 3rd Fleet lining up in a very familiar tactical position.
It was a sight to behold, choreographed ship maneuvering, all of them bearing their main cannons towards the planet.
It was then the Commandant spoke. "Target the following-- Argentina.. Brazil.. Ecuador... Mexico.. Columbia.. Orbital Standard, Seige pattern Gamma." She said aloud, all of the Taiyou 3rd Fleet lining up in a very familiar tactical position.
Ayako Katamura watched the screens and then she pulled up several scanning signatures, as the 14.8km Behemoth of a Shogun Battleship loomed over the 15km long Shokaku class Carrier, after a handful of Nakajima fighters screamed by the Shokaku, she remained in orbit. The Empire had Terra effectively locked down with several Naginata cruisers patrolling and checking if any unknown signatures needed to be mopped up. As the Imperial Fleet waited, a second message clattering on the Commandant's comm relay.
"Commandant Katamura, the Transit Array in E. Eridani is online, we have full contact with Central command, we can request reinforcements if you wish, Commandant." A young Lieutenant asked, turning to the woman. "No, I'm going to see what these Terrans and the TCCA Are about to do." She said, growling.
"Vanko, I want something done, I'm tired of letting Halo run this damn planet." She said, waiting.
"Commandant Katamura, the Transit Array in E. Eridani is online, we have full contact with Central command, we can request reinforcements if you wish, Commandant." A young Lieutenant asked, turning to the woman. "No, I'm going to see what these Terrans and the TCCA Are about to do." She said, growling.

Ayako Katamura inclined her head into a deep bow. "Very well, I will return to the array and await my re-assignment." She said, it was then the ITN Kaze no Tani slipped into Hyperspace, flashing out from orbit and leaving the remainder of the fleet in the command of the new Senior officer of the Taiyou Terran Command.
Commotion could be heard in the distance, what seemed to be a small gathering of Taurons in a corner of the bar was seen.
Kayana would be seen standing on a small stool, addressing before the Taurons.
""There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part, you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies on the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!" She shouted, the men then cheered loudly.
"We are Tauron! And we are destined to be free! No more will we allow a corrupt Confederation Government, to take our sovereignty, our leaders, and prosecute them!"

"Granted, Commandant, let's rescue our Empress." Kayabuki said, grasping the brass railing as the massive Shokaku Class Carrier began to take off from the pacific ocean, stirring massive waves. "Unknown craft detected, pinged against Motoko's Cyberbrain Beacon, ETA, Five minutes, all hands prepare for combat, all weapons armed, shields double front, Kogo.. Banzai!" She said, pointing forward as the massive Taiyou ship began to ascend from the surface.
"Admiral Yamamoto, I'm picking up your IFF Signal, permission to engage?"
The comms then chimed.
"Kaze No Tani, this is the Nagato, my ETA Intercept is ten minutes, we need to prevent them from escaping, I'll have Naginatas flank and engage."
Ayako nodded. "Right..." She then turned to one of her Lieutenants. "Engines full speed ahead, full thrust, wide open throttle! Let's do this!"
"Admiral Yamamoto, I'm picking up your IFF Signal, permission to engage?"
The comms then chimed.
"Kaze No Tani, this is the Nagato, my ETA Intercept is ten minutes, we need to prevent them from escaping, I'll have Naginatas flank and engage."

The Kaze no Tani shook and groaned as the vessel seemed to dart up towards the skies, aiming towards the strange pyramid ship.
"Commandant, we're receiving an incoming message, likely a response to Admiral Yamamoto's hail, shall I patch it through?"
The Commandant offered a nod. "Patch it through, he will make no demands upon us." She said, as the Kaze no Tani broke orbit, several Sudden Transports launched from her Hangar deck, each carrying a platoon of soldiers to board and capture the enemy vessel.
"This is Commandant Ayako Katamura, of the 1st Imperial Expedition, with whom am I speaking, and why have you kidnapped our Empress?"

Ayako Katamura grasped the railing, and pulled up several icons on the screen. "This is Commandant Katamura, of the Taiyou Empire, your 'Representative' kidnapped a high ranking government official of the Empire unprovoked, we are simply requesting that she be returned to us immediately, lest things escalate to war, a war with will be costly for both sides." She hailed, but things would only escalate as both sides picked up two massive signatures forming up on the rear of Osiris' ship, his Jackalite guards would find both Motoko and the Empress gone in a flash of white light.

Ayako Katamura corrected. "Commandant, sir." She said, inclining her head. "I am the senior commander of the 5th fleet, due to the rank structure, we don't have admirals commanding fleets, we have Commandants." Katamura politely corrected, then continued.
"Many in the Aschen Government are concerned that there is a rift or a distrust going on in the Coalition, with privileged access through the media blackout, they have made this conclusion, and President Roslin nearly did not get the clearance to assist the Coalition against Belka, Chairman Cain has also expressed concern that the Confederation will be attacked after the Belkans are removed from the galaxy, prompting that the Military be reserved for defense of the Confederation in that event."

The setting changes from Mjötviðr; The Realms to Gambit's Bar
Ayako Katamura pushed the doors to the bar open and surveyed the interior for a moment. She seemed to be your typical Japanese woman but there also seemed to be some differences. Her outfit was a white naval uniform, that of the Imperial Taiyou Navy, however it seemed different than the older generations of uniform. As she stepped into the bar she removed her had, a white naval officer's cap, and held it in the crook of her arm. Once she took a few steps into the bar, she surveyed her surroundings again before approaching the bar and moving to sit at the bar next to whomever was sitting there, first her eyes fell on Fate for a moment, then she eyed Jack. "Hmm... typical bar scene..." She added, before turning to the strange being that was Eridan. "What the hell is that thing." Ayako muttered to herself.
Ayako Katamura continued to quietly sit at her spot in the bar, shrugging as the two males she briefly checked out blatantly ignored her. Then again uniforms conveyed authority, and people on this world tended to dislike authority. She was fine with that, and so the Commandant found her way over to Yun Zhou, the asian looking man. "He looks like the decent type." She said as she sat up from her seat, and she silently moved over towards him, inclining her head. "Kon'nichiwa." She said, offering a slight bow.
Ayako Katamura inclined her head to her acquaintance, then she turned to Briena. "Hello." She said, in mildly accented English, before she turned to Yun Zhou. "I'm Commandant Ayako Katamura, Imperial Taiyou Navy, Commandant of the 5th Fleet." She said, inclining her head. "I'm just passing through, but there's much I'd like to learn about this world and yours." She said, turning to Briena. "Cal-ru-dia?" She said, mangling the world's name in her basic english.
"I come from a world called Niihama, ruled by the Emperor." She said, smiling, before she turned back to Briena. "And what matter of being are you?"

Ayako Katamura chuckled. "I'm running troops and supplies to an Imperial Colony in the Alpha Centauri system, I'm also dropping off supplies to Imperial Citizens here on Terra." She explained, inclining her head. "Beyond that, I'm just passing through." Ayako explained, looking to Briena. "Where I come from the Emperor rules all, ten thousand worlds under his direct control, and there are people like myself to enforce his will across the Empire." She explained. "Your world seems much simpler though, interstellar politics can be quite confusing and tiresome."
Ayako Katamura as the bullet crashed through the window the Commandant's training sprung into action as she ducked her head and withdrew her service pistol in one fluid motion. It was a sleek looking Seburo M-5 10mm Pistol, though it would hardly compare to a high powered sniper rifle, it afforded the Commandant some ease of protection, in her other hand she withdrew a small communicator. "Shit.. this is why I like to have Bodyguards..." She said, before she sent a text to a Lieutenant parked in a Sudden Transport around the corner, ordering him to drive the transport around to the front of the bar.
Ayako Katamura turned to Fate once more. "You, take position behind the wall near the door." She said, directing the man as if he was a soldier, nodding to Briena she silently dismissed her and the Chinaman. Her gaze looked outside as she tried to trail the direction of the bullet, checking it's angle of impact and then she deduced it came from. Grabbing the pistol she crept towards the door of the bar. Then she turned to Val.
"Can you handle a weapon!?" She shouted, before she racked her pistol and proceeded to head outside under cover of the Sudden Transport that pulled around.

Ayako Katamura moved across the armored hull of the Imperial Transport, motioning for Fate to cover in behind her, she eyed herself around the front of the transport, catching a shadow in the adjacent building, she raised her weapon and shouted. "You there, don't move, we have you surrounded!" She shouted, hoping she could spook the assailant inside with this well placed bluff, with a loud rack, the sudden transport deployed a squad of six Imperial Warriors, each of them armed with MX-type 2 Kinetic carbines, which fired superheated slugs. Six men fanned out across the street, two taking cover behind a parked sedan, the other two taking cover in the front of the building, with the last two going into the alleyways around the building.
"Where are the cops when you need them." She muttered.
"Come out with your hands raised and your weapons on the ground!" The Commandant shouted.

Ayako Katamura crept around the transport and across the street, turning back to Fate. "My men have them pinned down but it's a matter of time before they're overpowered. No one shoots at the bar and gets away with it." Ayako spat before she slowly crept behind a sedan, peering in the building where the shouting and the shooting was coming from. Quietly she reached towards the transport and tossed an exopack facemask towards the man, then she put one on her own face. "They're going to deploy spice gas, which hurts badly if you're not protected." She said, nodding. "If you've ever been pepper sprayed you'd know."
