Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh screeched to a halt and narrowly missed the parked Dodge Charger. The Vehicle that screeched to a halt was a white Tech Con APC, which was akin to a white suburban with armored doors and windows. As the shots rang out, the vehicle came to a stop, and a single man, clad in the uniform of a Tech Con Mercenary, approached Detective Green from Behind.

Captain Valaj-Karesh was armed with your typical Aschen armament, a Type 1 Bolt pistol, a small magnetic acceleration weapon, with the punch of a desert eagle.

"You there!" He shouted. "I'm a Tech Con Mercenary! Present your badge for that gun now!" He barked.

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh kept the barrel of the bolt pistol pressed to the man's back, upon seeing the badge, he removed the weapon and shook his head. "What are you doing waving that thing around?" He asked, as two more Tech Con APCs rolled around the corner, one of them completely driving over that black charger, crushing it under it's immense wheels, the Mercenary Captain growling. "Suspects huh? Up against the frakking wall, now!" He shouted, moving to shove the man forward, as the two APCs seemed to pour fourth Tech Con personnel, all of them fanning out and armed with disruptor rifles, which could easily put down any Terran resistance. All of them had white fatigues and white colored Ablative armor.

Randin, as he approached would be met with two Tech Con mercenaries in the same armor, Magnetron III Rifles pointed to the detective.

"Drop your weapons now!"

The Mercenaries facing off with Randin kept their weapons aimed, of course, Randin could likely see the second Detective being accosted by the Captain and several mercenaries, and so, the Mercenary facing off with Randin motioned back to Green.

"And your partner? Is he legit too?" He asked, of course Randin had a reputation amongst the Aschen.

"Should we let him go before you.. ohhhh try to indict us?" The Mercenary mocked.

The Mercenary held the officer there for a moment and then shook his head. "Palmer, run the badge." He then backed away for a moment before turning back to an additional mercenary.

"Jenkins, follow Kaye, get into that building and frak up anything that moves." He shouted, before looking back to Green.

"You're a face I haven't seen before, Either you're new, or you're not legit." He said, nodding to the APC. "Sorry about your car, but the occupation takes priority over petty needs." He added, as he watched the two Mercenaries run up to Parson and Kaye.

There had been flyers, advertisements, and everything else posted throughout the city asking all interested mercenaries if they wished for stable work, with good pay and good benefits. Captain Valaj'Karesh was in charge of handling all the recruitment of mercenaries in the area, in addition to giving them their duties. Silently, he sat at his desk, going over some paperwork before a secretary notified him of the appointment.

Tech Con Headquarters was a massive complex, a towering ultra-modern skyscraper in the heart of Wing City, though it was close to the urban city-center, the building itself remained relatively unscathed throughout the fighting between Aschen, Coalition, and Terran personnel.

The towering edifice gave way to an interior of marble, steel, and glass, with vaulted ceilings, and a massive Tech Con emblem behind the reception desk. There was a small waterfall in front of the emblem, and personnel coming and going, minding their day despite the invasion.

The Secretary in charge of Captain Karesh immediately waved the man through, and when Abel made his way into a rather lavish, ultra-modern office with two plush leather chairs, a black moden looking desk, various trinkets atop the desk, and a flickering holographic screen could be seen. In addition to a set of windows behind the Captain's desk, showing Wing City and the corresponding invasion, it could be denoted as quite the view.

Sitting at the plush leather chair behind the desk was an unassuming raven haired man, with a rather stocky build. His fingers maneuvered across a set of papers quite delicately, before he glanced up to look at Abel.

"Welcome to Tech Con." The man said quietly, as he stacked and neatened some papers before sliding them forward. "Please, have a seat."

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh offered a nod. "I know." He said, before he let his hands move over some more papers, Arren's outfit was a sharp contrast, consisting of a white military jacket, with various pins and devices pinned to his chest, a black tie and white blouse, with collar pips denoting his rank.

"I want you to understand that the Tech Con Resource Development Agency's Private Military Organization is a highly dedicated, professional military organization." He explained, turning a page.

"We focus more on long term career work rather than short term pay now mercenary work, if you stick with us you have not only the opportunity for advancement, but the opportunity to make a lucrative, steady income in one of the universe's largest corporations. I've read over the files you submitted, you're a capable soldier." He explained, shifting the paperwork.

"But Dossiers don't provide a complete picture, please, tell me about yourself."

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh nodded slowly, then offered a smile. "You'd be happy to know that we take the utmost pride in the security of our vessels, especially civilian transports." The Captain said, before he slid the papers forward. "We pay an annual salary of 75k per year, in Aschen Cubits, upon the successful completion of your probationary period, we increase the salary to 100k per year, in Aschen Cubits, with 25k Annual increases of your base salary, in addition to 100,000 Cubit bounties for enemy soldiers killed, the more you kill, the more money you make." Arren explained.

"Sign these papers and we'll issue your new gear." He said, gesturing to the papers.

"You'll be assigned to Wing City, assisting the Military in taking FOB Darkhammer when the time comes, in a few moments, your gear will arrive and I will explain it's purpose, and issue the gear."

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh nodded. "The average tour of duty is about thirty years, but you can choose to serve indefinitely, or until you're killed, whichever works for you." He said, checking a data feed. "Probationary period is one year, then you start your increases." Arren explained, as a Mercenary wheeled in a cart with a fairly sizable yellow crate. "You can discard or store your existing gear, being a professional mercenary organization, we issue all our gear to our mercenaries. Go ahead, open the crate."

When Jonathan opened the crate, he would find a set of white-washed armor made from some type of ceramic polymer, a torso section, helmet, leg and arm sections, and a black flak jacket.

Sitting next to the set of armor was an Aschen disruptor rifle, and a Magnetron pistol, there were microfusion cells and other devices in the crate. But what would be under the crate would be the kicker, a portable shield generator, and a GPS COMNAV System. All in all it was a fairly complex set of armor and weapon.

"When you pass your probationary period, the armor issued to you will be a bit more comprehensive, despite being basic, this armor is still the most advanced in the Confederation, capable of stopping most small arms."

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh leveled his rifle upon Mammoth, narrowing his eyes as he activated the holographic sights of his Type 53 Mk II Disruptor II rifle, which was capable of slicing through most shields and armors like a hot knife through butter, the Captain quickly narrowed his eyes and shouted out to the armored behemoth. "Put your gun down, now!" He ordered, spreading his stance, ignoring the Lion thing, as it was not the most immediate threat, despite the words it was uttering.

"Drop the gun or I'll drop you!" Arren barked, as another Mercenary, a sergeant put himself between Hagan and the drawn weapon, pointing his Type 23 Plasma rifle towards Mammoth, activating his personal shield generator, which flickered on like a milky white skin of light, before fading into nothingness.

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh approached Kelly while slinging a plasma rifle over his back. "Captain Valaj'Karesh, I'm with the Tech Con PMC, Do you understand that the men we're after have aimed to harm our citizens? Do you think you can threaten us and get away with it? You'll have to answer for your crimes. They're going to face Triad, It's best to comply, otherwise this can get really bad really fast." He said, trying not to show threatening.

"Now, We have two choices, we can take the men we're charging, Or your little Rebel group can head right to the top of our shoot list." He said, gesturing to the bar.

Captain Arren Valaj'Karesh still watched the Irishman, unflinching as the Reverence passed over. "We can let this go, they can answer for their crimes, do their time, and everyone's happy. Or we can all start shooting, And personally I wouldn't want to be up against that thing." He said, thumbing up into the sky at the vessel hovering overhead.
