Bosch stood and strode over. "I was transported here. Now that I think about it, I was sent here by way of a rip in the dimensions. I believe the device that sent me here could be used by the enemy back on my world: the Urza. If they follow me here, this war you are currently waging will only become worse."

"That could prove to be very bad indeed," he added finally.

Bosch watched as the admiral left. "Damn," he said and hung his head. He fretted now. Realization dawned upon him. The Urza, if they decided to follow, which they probably would, would come looking for him, and find a whole new world to ravage. He didn't know what to do.

"Admiral, are you just going to sweep this information under the rug?" he called out.

She didn't understand the extent of the threat of the Urza. They were decimating whole provinces on his world. The Vanguards of his province were only barely holding them at bay. What they lacked in technological advancements they made up for in numbers, strength, and brutality. Not to mention they are the most relentless force Bosch had ever faced.

"I think this calls for more than consideration. They will follow me. And when they do, Ancients help this world."

Bosch was uneasy. If the Urza had acquired technology that could send him through the very fabric of space and time, then it may set in motion a very cataclysmic series of events. What kind of magic powered such a device anyway? Surely they wouldn't dare think of harnessing Wild Magic?

Captain Bosch Vaneers left some of his own money on the table, along with a napkin note that said "Sorry," and left the bar.

He returned again, slowly clambering through the main entrance, hopeful that the barman was satisfied with the money he provided for his drinks last night. Looking around, Bosch saw new faces he didn't see the previous night. He wondered if they had a part in the "Terran" war, or were citizens oblivious to the badlands of combat.

He took the same seat as his previous visit, near the back of the bar. He didn't order anything. He just hoped that there would be someone there he could warn about the Urza. Someone military. Someone who had the power to preemptively act on the Urza invasion. He knew they'd follow: A small group to eradicate him at first, but upon seeing a world like this, he was certain reinforcements would be swift to follow in the trails of the assassins. He shuddered at the thought.

"Hm. None at the moment," Bosch said rather sourly.

Bosch placed his pulse rifle on the table, tired of it hanging around his neck. The sling drooped off the table, but he didn't care. He was occupied in his thoughts and fears. Surely there was someone here who could hear him out and know which precautions to take.

The admiral from the previous night hadn't been very interested in his warning. That could prove to be this world's undoing.

"I wouldn't know. I'm not from here," he replied promptly. "Although, I'd say it'll get really fucked if I can't get my warning through to the military of this world."

Bosch didn't even jump at the fact that the girl that sat across from him had vanished. War had made everything unsurprising for him. He just sat there, staring at the hard wood of the table. Taking note of everyone around him, he found there to be no one of extremely great importance to himself. Still, he remained in hopes of meeting someone from the Terran military with whom he could speak to.

Bosch observed the scene before him. People were conversing, events that did not concern him unfurled. He was feeling rather restless.

All of a sudden, a satyr walked (or trotted, rather) into the bar. He shouted above the clamor, garnering attention to his person. The satyr, who went by the name Rudolpho, began playing a peculiar flute; a rather jolly tune that actually made Bosch's lips curl up into a smile. He found himself marveled by the goat-man's merry-making, all the while on the lookout for someone he could talk to about the possible Urza invasion.

Captain Bosch Vaneers strode into the bar, feeling ragged and run down. He hadn't slept well, having found an abandoned building in which to lay his head down, as he had no residence in this world. He looked around the bar, seeing the admiral from a few days ago. She had been intoxicated that night, but Bosch cared not about that. He didn't know whether to address his concerns to her, or keep to himself, as his concerns didn't seem to affect anyone else.

He picked the same table at the back of the bar that he'd been frequenting. He needed food this time, and was rather sick of MRE's. The barman had expressed his tolerance with Bosch's currency, explaining that he obtained various currencies from the customers of this bar. Bosch didn't understand how the man could keep this place up by accepting different currencies, but he supposed the collectors took all types of money. Still, he ordered a steak, with sweet potato fries and a beer. He set his pulse rifle against the table, and waited.

Bosch looked around at all the patrons as he waited for his food to arrive. The people of the bar were varied in several degrees: different species, attitudes, and professions. Some were merry, some were irritated, and some just seemed stand-offish. His interest was upon the admiral. He felt out of place, not serving in an army of some sort, residing as some beggar in the abandoned, derelict areas of Wing City. He needed employment. He needed to feel like a soldier again, as he did in the Vanguards.

But now was not the time to ask for a place in this foreign military. Besides, he knew not even what the conflict between the Terrans and their enemy was truly about. He didn't knew whose ideals matched his own. The Terran military could be a force controlled by tyrants. He shook his head at the thought. His attention then turned to a Leo-being; a humanoid lion being that sat conversing with a police officer on the other side of the bar. He was a curious being, and familiar. Bosch then realized he was staring, and hoped the Leo-being didn't take notice of this offensive behavior.

Bosch's food arrived, and he ate with gusto. Quickly, he put the food and beer away, taking spec of himself afterward. He was satisfied. The bar was loud, and people were talkative. His eyes fell upon the admiral, who was shouting at the police officer. She seemed like an insufferable woman. Suddenly, there was another woman retorting against the admiral's obviously vicious and antagonizing inquiry. Bosch scoffed, wondering how a hot-head such as that would handle being talked back to. Hopefully, nothing like what happened his first night in here would transpire.

Of course, the admiral was trying to assert her dominance, and she had stated something [b'Bosch[/b] couldn't pass the opportunity to reply to. "It's possible that she's looking at you that way because you carry yourself as such, admiral!" the captain called out.

Bosch got up from his seat, taking his rifle with him. He headed towards where the admiral sat, and threw his rifle onto the table before taking a seat across from the vicious woman. "Admiral Nagala, is it?" the captain said calmly. He sat back, taking the woman in, studying her already apparent annoyance.

"Just curious," Bosch, "But are there any grounds upon ordering an arrest upon clearly innocent civilians?"

Bosch heard the commotion from across the bar. Who was calling for reinforcements? Was there really about to be a conflict that great in proportion? The captain turned to the source of the sound: it was the cybernetic soldier from earlier. "No need to call on others, soldier," Bosch called.

Bosch looked to this lunatic woman in amazement. "She doesn't appear menacing to me, admiral. Now it is your duty as a soldier to be rational, is it not? Ordering the arrest of someone who is clearly not threatening the safety of anyone in this room is hardly professional behavior for someone of your rank," the captain calmly spoke.

"Abuse of power is a great offense where I come from. The rules must be different here."

This woman was fierce, pulling a weapon on a ranked officer. He knew better than to reach for his rifle, but his sidearm was still strapped to his leg, in the case that her focus turned to him. It didn't, but now his case with the admiral was rather dead. He sighed, and stood, sliding his rifle from the table. The admiral left, talking of "glassing" the planet. This couldn't be a good thing, but surely Terran High Command (or whatever it was called in this world) wouldn't allow such a thing over a meaningless disagreement within the walls of a bar.

Bosch walked toward the woman who had drawn her pistol upon the admiral, taking a seat across from her. "Dangerous, very dangerous," Bosch said plainly. "Just be glad that she's lost her mind, and her superiors more than likely know it."
