In truth, Casia was very jealous. If only she had been born one of them instead of the wretched demon she was made to be. Well, at least that would change soon. Hopefully. She just needed a few selected people and...poof. She'd be human. More or less, at least.

"So what happens if one of you dies?" piped up Rino suddenly. "Not that I'm implying anything. Mere curiosity, is all."

"Hm. Looks like you need to be extra careful, then. With each other. Especially in the future. Do you both use Magic?" he asked, backing up to the wall and sliding down it, crossing his legs. This signaled the long discussion he was thinking was going to take place. "Or some other type of energy? I know there are strange things in this world...psychics, those that use...other energies, much darker." He was, of course, talking about demonic energies that himself and Caisa once used.

As the two walked, everything seemed to be going fine. There were no arguments, no harsh words, no brooding anger. This was a first. And Casia found it was actually quite pleasant. Rino, on the other hand, had his mind on other things. Before they got too far, he held out a hand to stop her. She ran into this arm, scowling.

"Why did you do that? Trying to trip me or something?" she growled. She pulled back quickly, though. Everything had been going so well!

Rino shushed her, looking into the distance. "There's something here." he said, walking forward and retrieving his switchblade. He pulled his wings in tightly to himself, and his tail swished carefully around branches and leaves as he pulled into the forest.

As Rino advanced, he saw the pearly, gemlike shine of the dragon's scales. He inquired further, eventually seeing the whole picture of the dragon and her eggs. He was amazed, even awed a bit, but overall, he was relieved. It was just a sleeping dragon around her eggs. No problem. He and Casia could just go back a-

"Rino! What are you doing!?" Came Casia, flying above him, narrowly avoiding branches. Rino's hairs stuck up on end as he attempted to shush her.

As the dragon stirred, both demons froze in their spots. Casia, who had attached herself to a fragile tree branch, was holding her breath. The male demon squinted his eyes. He could see better in the dark, thanks to him not surrendering every part of his demon powers. He kept very slight things that went unnoticed. He held up a finger to Casia, but too late. The girl, though she tried to fly off of the branch, already stepped too harsh and broke it, causing a loud crack! to echo throughout the forest.

"Casia...Casia, get back," whispered Rino, trying to shuffle backwards. However, the collection of leaves and twigs behind him were sure to give him away. Casia, who had landed silently beside the tree, had already known this.

"Rino..." she whispered, waving to him. "Let me."
"Do what?"
"...er. Something."
"Don't get killed!"
"Sure."

Nervously, Casia trotted forward, making a lot of sound as she did. When she got close enough, she would taking in a breath. "Shhh!" she said to the dragon, licking her lips. "It's...okay."

In the back, Rino facepalmed.

Inside of Gambits came a cloaked figure. Not unusual, no, and there was always a reason to it. For Casia, her reason was because she had encountered more than one gasp of surprise at her appearance in Gambits. That, in itself, was surprising. What with all the demons that usually came in, brandishing their claws and disgusting bodies. However, those demons could defend themselves. They had a demonic aura and demonic abilities.

What could Casia do? She could fly and she could smack. That was all.

Casia felt eyes on her. She lifted her head, a cinnamon-colored hand reaching up to keep the hood firmly onto her head. She curled her hand into a fist, hiding the black claws. Her bright eyes turned onto Charles, heart beating quickly within her chest. She did not know why she came here. She never knew why she came here. Cheap food, sure...oh, but the dangers! She regretted leaving Rino back in the hotel. Then again, he had been more of a jerk lately, and she decided she just wanted to be rid of him for a day. Just one day.

Gulping, the woman stilled, looking to Charles. What did he want? And that whole group? Creeps.

She watched Charles still. And he stared back. And Casia felt that if she did not look away, it would just be this endless staring match and she would eventually lose her mind. Of course, that was Casia being silly. However, she did look away, walking further in and staring at Charles from the very corner of her vision. This way, it had her less nervous about all those guns she saw them carrying. She was a demon, sure, but if she was shot she would be done for. She drew back her hood just a bit, and black hair fell over her brow as she plugged in an orfer at the counter. That older man was still telling a rather interesting story. And with a gusto she never heard in most. Still, she was uneasy. It was rare she saw a whole squad come in.

Casia wouldn't be sure how brown, cinnamon-colored skin would be counted as human at all, but she could not even begin to wonder about the thoughts of the man watching her. Maybe he knew? Maybe his fingers itched for their guns? Surely, he would not shoot her without reason.

Then again, it happened a lot, and she did not have a Rino to protect her, nor did she have her demonic powers to help her defend herself. Thanks to her cloak, however, she was hidden.

All for the long tail that peeked out from the back, of course.

The Demonhunter did catch young Casia's attention, and it did make her nervous. But with all her attempts so far with trying to be incognito (and failing) she did not think that she would be found so soon. Suddenly cautious, her tail slithered in under her cloak. She had not even been aware it was out. She was still oblivious to the fact.

"I suppose it couldn't hurt, right?"

A small young woman would walk inside, looking about curiously. It had been a while since she'd come back, especially when a demonhunter came in and eyed her up dangerously, but she thought, as long as he did not come back, she was alright. Even without Rino, her bodyguard, she should be perfectly fine.
Right?

Hopefully it was right. She walked in, the young demon did, her hair parting where the fleshy horns on her head divided it. Her wings were fully in view, as was her very long, slender tail. She certainly wasn't human, but if one payed attention, they would see she was no ordinary demon, as well. She had no demonic aura about her.

Casia took a while to look around briefly, making sure she was in the safe. Several figures crossed her sight. The first was the shadowy figure with bright strands of hair showing from beneath. She had no idea who it was, but she did feel uneasy being close. Instead, she looked the other way, catching sight of a young man with dark hair. His face was slightly contorted, and she could not begin to figure out why.

After a few moments of thought, her eyes widened a considerable amount. She took a step back in unease, grabbing her wrist and digging her finger to the skin in an unhealthy nervous habit. Could he be a demon hunter, of sorts? Maybe someone who really did not favor what she had pulled herself away from? She hoped not. She did not even have Rino here to help her.

As the man nodded to her, her tensed muscles melted like butter. A...nod? Not a slice down her skull? That was a new one. In return, she gave him a bright smile. However, something was still wrong. Was it out of place to inquire? Perhaps.

Casia listened with brief interest to the small argument going on. She heard the man speak about being pretty powerful. Bragging, as people always did. Murderers and assassins came to Gambit's all the time. Big company owners and factions, too. There wasn't getting past them too easy if you were just one man. Cathan, a man she had met there once, would have probably been able to take him out, but she could not gauge his strength from his brags. Not yet, anyway. Oh, but she did hope he would not start!

Moving her attention away from them, she focused completely on this dark-haired young man. He had waved her over, and what else could she do but go over? And she did exactly that, mostly out of curiosity.

"Ah...hello," she said, holding her hands behind her back, clasped, "You are a curious fellow. Are you quite alright?"

Where angels had fallen, so did the demons rise. Inside came a young woman with cinnamon brown skin, fleshy horns, batlike wings, and a long, slender tail. Most would believe that, at a glance, yes, she was a demon, but there was something strange; she completely lacked a demonic aura.

She was a small, unassuming thing. Even wearing the modern baggy shirt and shorts combo that she found strange, though comfortable, she seemed out of place. Her black hair was tied up into a ponytail, out of the way. Nothing from the Feudal era was left on her. It was time to move on.

The young demon turned her head to look around, noting the two angel-like beings within the bar. She paused, nervous. She clenched her hands in an attempt to hide the claws. Not like it made a difference. After all, it certainly was not her most prominent trait.

She tore her eyes away from them, thinning her lips as she scurried to the bar counter. It's not like Rino was anywhere close to help her. He said he would come by, but he never did. And what if he was too late?

"Gah! No time to think about that, now!" she said to herself, stubbornly huffing. She would be fine!

Hairs pricking on the back of her neck caused Casia to turn around, her wide eyes planting themselves onto the white-haired man. Of course, they veered to the hybrid, as well, who had also adopted the same shade of hair, but something about the other one...

"Something...wrong?" she asked, hesitantly tapping in an order on the touch-screen menu's. Since there wasn't a live tender, the robots would deal for now. She kept her wings in close to her back, though her tail, seemingly with a life of its own, slithered lazily on the floor.

"Ineed?" she asked, slipping her clasped palms between her knees. Though she was fairly used to the way she was, she was sometimes conscious around...well, humans, angels...the latter. There was enough reasons to be that way, after all.

"You still looked disturbed. No, perhaps it is me. Heh. Maybe it is our nature?"

Hearing about the annoyance of the hybrid, Casia snickered, her hand coming up to her mouth to hide the smile. "What I am? No, what I used to be, as well. Even with the display, I'm afraid I am no longer a demon, either." she replied, taking the drink from the robot bartender and wrapping her clawed fingers around it. "It is a time I'd rather not remember, either. Similarly, I have nothing against you. I was just afraid you would take it the wrong way. Who knows, in a place like this."

Following Rino into the bar was a woman that looked stunningly similar in the way of demonic features. The horns, long tail, cinnamon skin and pointed ears said it all. However, her features were not as sharp as they probably should have been, and she, too, did not ooze a demonic aura.

"Rino, don't you leave me like that again!" she complained, looking behind her cautiously. She lowered large wings closer to her back. She looked around nervously, catching sight of the blonde man leaning against the wall. Her brown eyes stared into his blue ones.
