a character in “The Multiverse”, originally authored by Moonscar, as played by Sennen

Description

Image

Age: Unknown, presumably in her twenties.

Gender: Female

Race/Ethnicity/Species: Isn't it obvious? She's a vampire, of course. Stop being daft.

Appearance: Elizabeth, at times, will have rosy skin, and other times she will seem paler than the skin on an albino's back. Her eyes are normally brown, sometimes flashing olive in sunlight. Her short hair is a dark, faded brown, and curly. She's a tad short, 5'4" in all, and her figure isn't exactly gifted. She's also very skinny. Unhealthily so. She's really not known for being attractive.

Apparel usually consists of baggy shirts, long pants, the latter. She's not a skimpy, slutty woman. She believes that isn't the way to do things. No, what you have to do is just go for it. Right there, right then. Just make sure no one else is around.

"She carries the scent of iron and lime and an ungodly amount of bleach. She's got somewhat of a...a haunted look about her eyes. She scared me. Just looking at her scared me, but there's hardly a thing she could do to me, now, is there? Is there..."

Equipment/Weapons: Only the clothes at her back. Oh, and her fangs. All vampires have those.

The picture is not mine. It belongs to Rubat-A on DeviantArt.

So begins...

The woman could just feel it as the fat man ran his greedy eyes across her form. She would have shivered, but when she looked upon him, it was as if a light clicked on inside of her head. She looked upon him in a similar fashion that he did her, but there were much darker intentions within her own eyes. It must have been a bit unnerving, the fact that a skinny, frail young woman who wasn't necessarily attractive have that sort of affect on someone. That is, if it had the effect at all.

Alas, her attention had to be switched to Moroi once more. She slid her thumb nail down the side of her glass, droplets of water collecting and falling as she did so. "Well, has anything changed? I've only been here a short while..." So he liked observing too, hm?

"My name is Elizabeth Thaybor. Nice to meet you," she said, taking his hand in her own slight one. She didn't really understand why he was choosing to leave. It wasn't as if she was bothered by his presence. In fact, she really wasn't bothered by the presence of anyone at all who had blood running through their veins, especially if it was abundant.
That Minotaur and that fat man, for one...

"You go by Crow? Why is that?"

As the fat man came over, Elizabeth couldn't help but let out a long cackle within her own mind. Hooked, and all was left was the line and sinker. They'd get swallowed eventually if she played her cards right.

Oh..oh, but damn! She had to leave!

She turned to Senji and apologized, did the same to Moroi. "Sorry boys, I seem to have...something going on. Currently." She looked to the fat man apologetically. Oh, she'd get him next time, she would. She sat up, left her nearly untouched daiquiri, and sauntered out the door the monastery. She had unfinished business.

In through the same door came a rather rosy woman with dark eyes and a white-toothed smile. She smelled heavily of blood, to the point that even a normal human might be able to smell it off her. She seemed very pleased with herself, and the fact that her hair was neatly done and that her clothes were quite tidy reflected that. She spotted the other woman who had come in before. She was almost equally, of not as small as herself. Quite interesting. She looked full enough to have enough blood in her, anyway. She had spotted Septa, too, but he looked as unhealthy as herself...

The vampire woman did not flinch at the screeching of the sword sharpening. Instead, she seemed to close her eyes and indulge as if it were the strums of a guitar. Even Lucas' guitar, but more of an acoustic one. She sauntered by the bird, the demon, and the draconian, seating herself tight at the bar counter and tapping in an order.

The Monastery was quiet, abandoned, and secretive. It had many rooms, both out in the open and hidden in mazes and trap doors. Its creepy sounds and pressing stone walls also kept many people away with the thought that it was haunted. In every aspect, it was, and would be for a long time, perfect. Even if someone had come in, they would never be able to follow the strong, heavy scent of iron that coated the place. Even the occasional drop of scarlet on the floor could be taken for...well...tomato juice?
Wishful thinking, but, as far as a vampire was concerned, the bathtub hidden deep into a back room, filled nearly to the brim with blood, was protected.

As Rowen continued into the old building, he would hear the sounds of a soft humming. It was probably not a recognizable tune, but it was being brought lazily and joyfully throughout the halls of the monastery. If and when he poked his head through a small, dimly lit room that was positioned behind a large painting, he would see that same bloody bathtub...and the pair of pale, slender legs that poked out from the side, toes dripping with the substance.

Eyes shot open as the second chorus of humming was heard, staring straight up at the vampire before her. The eyes narrowed, and the humming stopped. "I wasn't expecting company." Said the woman, her voice low and dangerous. She could tell already what he was. She hadn't even needed to look at him to know. The second she heard that humming...there was only one type of creature that could have found her here.

A flash of silver would whip out from seemingly nowhere, and a knife would be up and against the vampire's throat.

"Watch yourself."

Indeed, the woman wasn't fast enough to dodge the attack, and the knife went flying, clanging to the floor. She let out a small gasp, at first surprised, trying to pull her hand out of his grip. "Human?" She hissed, backing up. "I am not human." She couldn't believe her ears. Couldn't they recognize their kind when they saw it?

A strong glare followed the sparklepire as she walked around, dipping his hand into the blood. She was powerless to stop him, though she could retreat away from his touch. How rude.

Elizabeth was already at the bar, drinking a small martini, as per usual. If she'd only just come in, simply to see the sparklepire, she would have walked out. However, now that she was settled, she wasn't going to be easy to move. Well, not by the simple appearance of someone, anyway. She was wearing some simple, dowdy clothing which hung from her form like loose skin. She sighed.
"Come back to haunt me?" She asked Rowen.

The woman tapped her fingers on the counter, folding her legs as she looked upon Rowen with an absolute look of anger and disdain. She sipped at her drink, then sighed once more. "To prepare something like that takes weeks. Months, even. You know how hard it is for me to hide my tracks? My kills? People have been looking for me for ages. None have been able to figure it out. Especially without a body to trace."

"And you think I'm ever talking about the authorities? People have families. People have friends. Not all of them are helpless damsels that have nothing else to do than sulk in their beds because their husband or children have been taken away. I've had slayers hunt me in this town before, Rowen, and I'm sure you've found yourself in more of a bind than myself." She pointed to her cheek. "Or did someone you absolutely love give you those little scars?"

"I'd doubt that, but then again, I've never quite known what you've been through. Must have been a scene, watching some monster gnaw on the side of your face. What was it? A werewolf? A lycan? Or something much more sinister? A beast made only for hunting vampires? I've seen slayers make a few of those in my time. They've never been pretty." She said, peering at Rowen. Just the mention of those scars seemed to change his general attitude. She wondered what had happened...

As the doors opened, Elizabeth barely turned her head to peer at the tall white figure who had come in. He was decidedly alien to Liz. She hadn't any idea what it was, and she didn't think it had blood. It could probably kill her all too easily, too.

"Oh, so a dinosaur?" Snickered Elizabeth, though she really didn't doubt that such creatures existed in this city. The fact stood that, simply, she hadn't seen them, but it didn't mean that they weren't real. She turned to look Rowen in the face, her eyes half-closed as she traced the rim of her drink with her thumb. "You seem jumpy. Or rather...not jumpy...hungry, then?" She asked, saying her words carefully. She watched him pull out the blood packet, eyes following the ooze as it was dumped into the drink.

"Do you bottle your own or do you buy it from the store?" She asked, half-mockingly. She shifted in her seat, a little smirk playing on her lips. She had to make sure she didn't anger him too much. She couldn't defend herself, after all.
Maybe it was about time to get someone who could.

"Ghouls..." mumbled Elizabeth, licking her lips. She couldn't make ghouls. She wasn't able to really turn anyone, either. Well, no, that wasn't true. She could turn humans. Just...in a different way than most. "How often do you try to hunt?" She asked him, trying to divert from the conversation. He didn't need to know how much of a failure she was as a vampire. She could scarcely even run a mile without wheezing. "You sound like you have magic. I take it you were a mage before you were a vampire? Or something of the sort?"

"Sort of funny thing for a vampire, isn't it? Not wanting to kill..." she looked at the blood-sprite with distaste. It looked old and...disgusting. Cold, too. She didn't very much favor that. Elizabeth looked away and continued with her martini.
"Healing and protection? Isn't that a laugh, now? A vampire who used to be a mage that healed people. That's a amusing, it really is. How is it that you weren't able to heal those wounds so they wouldn't scar, then? Or are you unable to heal yourself?"

"...so it was a dhampir." Mused Elizabeth, lips parting slightly as she did so. "I've been wondering what it was. I've barely encountered their kind. They never seem too interested, and I've made sure that it stays that way. You say they're nearly extinct, however?" She asked Rowen, eyes glancing up to him. Amazing how she hadn't the disadvantages of most vampires. The only thing was that she didn't have most of their advantages, as well. "So you can't find a trained healer? In this town? Funny."

"Looks like you need to find yourself a new healer," said Elizabeth, smirking. "Monsters...prehistoric..." again with the dinosaurs? The woman had to suppress a laugh. He wouldn't have taken lightly to the joke. "I've heard of a few monsters like that. Most were similar to ghosts, however." She said, thinking back. "And I'm sure he can smell it, Rowen. Along with a lot of other things."

'Bloodslut.' What an interesting term. She wondered just what it could have been. Someone who horded blood from others or shared it out too freely? She supposed the second was a lot more plausible. She had noted the same strange people who had come into Gambits. Inu's, people who didn't accurately know how to use katana's, and another girl who didn't seem to have too much special about her.

"The bar is...alive? And blood support? I wonder..." said Elizabeth, wondering if she could find her way down there and steal some for herself. A couple of glassfull's weren't enough.

"I wasn't thinking that at all. Don't you start making assumptions. You'll find yourself very disappointed," snapped the woman, looking at the wall as she drank. Her glasses weren't filled blood. Not like his. She was surprised he hadn't noticed as of yet. "I would almost be too scared, from what you've told me." She said, snuffling in her seat. Her eyes flickered around the bar.
Dammit. What happened to the humans? Humans were easy to kill. They didn't even react when you slashed them across the throat. No, they were dead then, but others didn't die sometimes...she'd figured that out the hard way.

"And you are still very terrible. You have some horrible mannerisms, I'll have you know."
Very polite, aren't you, Liz?
