Hatchet leaned back in his chair. He shook his head in disappointment. "Useless. Tell me about the girl, then. She's an arm for hire? She kills anything you tell her to?"

An evil eye glanced over at the female. "Well... There's a time for everything." He waved his hand in dismissal to the girl; a reference to her, and her question.

Hatchet smiled, and lifted a finger to point at the tender. "Individuals like that just need.. an outlet to harvest their wavering ways. Killing, killing, killing, is what she seems to be interested in, and so am I. How, and what doesn't concern me.. it's just a matter of who. The 'why,' should be obvious."

The fiery horns that Scott now gave almost seemed to glow in the night within the alley way and the burning red eyes almost seemed to pierce the darkness that the illumination of the street outside of the alley way. "Enough of this!" Scott shouted as the etherial tail that he had began to sway back and forth while everything around him suddenly began to grow hotter. "If you seek death then that is what I shall give to you!"

The glow from the demon's flames illuminated Hatchet's face, giving his skin a different shade of white. "Those who do not plan, are planning to fail." HAtchet whispered. The slender man leapt approximately eight feet in the air toward an alley wall. He pivoted from wall to wall, getting higher; about twenty feet above Scott. His acrobatics were swift and silent. Hatchet could stand the heat.

He then would dive down toward Scott; his arms stretched out afront of him, and claws pressed together, so as to make his body a spear attempting to pierce its target. If the attack made contact, Hatchet's claws would stab through Scott's chest.

"A Thousand Blades." Was all that Scott could whisper as he watched Jack jump up and come down only to step jump back a second and watch as the sky around them would fill with raining blades from the heavens themselves while he himself brought both of his hands forward. "I challenge the laws of nature and reason, by summoning the power of destruction. Beluta e'eem kee'pa kee'pa samda makav. Magna Blast, Exist!!" With that incantation quickly uttered a blast of pure energy would shoot out from Scott and towards Jack.

The acceleration built from Hatchet's arrow-like shape gained enough speed to run through flesh, but not such a protruding attack. The blast disturbed Hatchet's falling pattern, and his body swiveled out of control. His shoulder skid against a wall, as he fell. Another tear in his suit. What a shame.

Within the second of plumit, he latched his right claw onto the wall to subside and prevent a fatal head-first crash. The claws digged into the concret with ease. Chunks of it began to fall off toward the ground. A sprakle of his eye produced an idea in Hatchet's mind. Still sliding down, he finally clambered up his feet, and pushed himself off the wall; in-turn doing a dynamic back-flip to the ground. He dug his claw into the concrete of the wall, once more; he quickly advanced his arm, and carved out a foot in diameter boulder, consecutively propelling it toward Scott's head.

Upon one of the buildings sat a woman. Around her was a powerful field, run by a battery that was draining quickly. She had on a red hood and, in her hands, a very strange gun with decorative golden pins and the like. She looked down at the fight below. Someone spoke into her earpiece.

"One hell of a battle. I think you ought to get down there quick." they said. The woman nodded, forgetting that they could not observe such little actions. "Sana?"
"Oh! Sorry. Yes. I'm ready for anything." she replied.

Now, to wait for the exact right moment.

Hatchet sprinted toward Scott, digging his tenacious claws into each wall of concrete. He was still aware of the large number of weapons above him. But, like always he had a plan. Every half-second that passed, Hatchet would adavance closer to Scott; after each of those half-seconds Hatchet would consistently launch med-size boulders at Scott's person. Some would break off so largely that they'd be four feet in diameter, and way at least a hundred pounds, while smaller one foot in diameter boulders, would bullet toward Scott at an exceptional speed; they would be racing toward him at the speed of which being tossed out a tornado. In-turn each body part the boulders hit would be torn off completely, if not severly injured.

Scott Dark saw everything as if it was in slow motion and with a single step back a feiry portal would appear behind the demonborn. "Sorry kid." Scott said as he took a step back and vanished from the world.

The boulders hit nothing but air when the demonic man disappeared through his god-forsaken portal. They swished through and about, crashing into the alley walls, and ricocheted off the ground, only to plumit down again. The alley way appeared to be a practical war zone now. Crumbling rocks fell off the walls where Hatchet carved into them. The razor blades hanging above Hatchet's head had simply dissipated into dust. He stopped dead in his tracks, and began to tremble with anger. One boulder remained in his claw. A silent, scowl held still on Hatchet's face. "Hell is that man's home. Hell is where he will be damned." Hatchet snapped his claw into a fist, and the boulder was shattered.

The woman leaned over the edge of the building she was at. It had been one of the few that had not fallen due to the fight. She pulled her red hood further over her head and chuckled.
"What?" came the voice in her earpiece.
"One of them just left. The other is in a rage. I find it highly amusing. Especially being with those apathetic bastards the last few months."

It was then that the forcefield decided to quit on her. She frowned, one hand on her hip, the other holding the decorative-looking rifle. "Well, shit." she said, peering back down at the subject below.

"I didn't come here to fight him, you know. Can you all get me out of here before I have an angry kid on my hands?"

Hatchet scrutinized the area; the lense of his eyes slightly extracted, and contracted, as he peered at the surrounding aspects. He looked left, he looked right, he looked down and around; he needed to know for sure Scott was gone, just to let his anxious mind be at ease. Then he looked up. A figure was clearly sighted standing on the edge of the building. He adjusted his eye-lense to zoom in on the object. His eyes narrowed. It was a humanoid; an armed threat. It retained a petite figure, but it was hooded. Seconds later a field around the individual began to lightly flicker.Hatchet slightly jolted his head back. He growled with irritation; he lifted his claw to a damaged wall, and scooped out a chunk of concrete. Hatchet subsequently leapt toward a wall, but with much less vigor than when he was fighting Scott; he was more graceful. He began to pivot wall to wall, which brought him just ten feet higher, and catapulted the small boulder at the being above. "I'm not in the mood." he said as he clasped a claw onto the wall to prevent a stumble to the ground.

Big objects moved much slower than a small projectile. That was common sense. Now, Sana, a project made by the Arena Corps to be able to both spot and shoot projectiles, saw Hatchet and the boulder all too easily. She had implants too. "Sorry, Benjamin. Got to go. Give me a sec, willya?" she said into the microphone as the boulder was chucked at her. It went so slowly she might have yawned, but she knew her brain was processing the speed much faster than her body could actually move out of the way, so she raised her gun to the building on the other side, pressed a button, and a small grapple hook shot out from it, embedding itself into the concrete. She jumped into the air and flew, just as the boulder hit the other building.

"Oh, well isn't someone a bit riled up! Stop having a temper tantrum, you child! He escaped and you could not stop him! Big deal!" she called back, long legs stopping her momentum as she hit the other building.

"So, you were watching the whole time, then?" he called back. He pivoted back to the contrasting wall behind him, and so forth to the other wall, until he was only yards away from the top of the building she drag-lined to. He began to scale up the building; each claw dug into the concrete with little effort. He would reach the roof to face her. "Perhaps, I should compensate his escape with your own death!" he called to her again.

"Oh, maybe, maybe not. Does it matter?" she replied, hopping backwards as he came close. She eyed him closely, then pulled a small metal cylinder from her belt. This shot out another grappling hook type device, all except that it wasn't a hook at the end. It was a carabiner. She would shoot it to a building behind her as he spoke.

"Yeah, you can try. You really can."

With that, she would shoot the device to a metal rail on the adjacent roof, then snap the wire that held her gun to the wall she was on. Like Spiderman would have done, she swung, trying to land on the next building and hop onto the roof.

"You bitch!" he spat. "I'll make you beg for death by the time I'm done with you!" Hatchet absolutely despised being condescened, especially since he was in-fact quite enraged. He followed her every move with his lense; still hanging on the side of the building, he quickly leapt for the woman as she swung to the next building. His eyes were struck with a sharp fury; he bellowed briefly while in mid-air. He would swipe his claws at her. If they made contact the damages would be fatal. Either way, Hatchet would fall; he would attempt to grab onto her legs, but if she was moving too fast, he would crash into the ground. With the aerial position he would be in, the walls would be too far away for him to latch onto. His noted temper did have him a bit distraught.

She would miss his claws by a hair, flinching away as she swung. However, he would catch her legs, and her swing she had little control over except for the initial jump for momentum. She tried to knee him in the chin, to get him off, to get him away, of all things. "Nah! You're the one having the temper tantrum! Off!" she cried. Though, they neared the next building awfully fast, and since Hatchet was on her legs so she could not stop her quick fall...

...well, a rather painful smack awaited them onto the concrete wall.

Her knee caught him in the chin, but he clasped tighter onto her legs. The pain was no less comforting than the bleeding burn on his shoulder; he might've been a mutant, but he had no superior healling properties. He was not letting go. As their bodies glided across throught the air, a moment of hilarity could be ensued. Hatchet would clambered up the woman's legs within seconds; first her knees, then her thighs, and finally her waste. Just before they ame within a good foot of the wall, Hatchet would attempt to cut the wire attached to the woman's waste; wrapping one arm full around both her thighs, so as to keep from plummetting down to a laughable 'splat.' If the woman did not let him proceed, they would both go.. splat. If he did succeed with his manuever, Hatchet would dig his claw in the wall afront of them, while holding onto the woman.
