a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by lil_kreen

Description

Given Title: Jinhai
Race: Ascended hairworm, satellite being.
Age: Not applicable
Gender: nonsexual, appears male
Overbeing/Faction: Myrkul's Vein
Birthplace: Black Storm.
Religion: Apatheist
Identifying characteristics: Unable to imitate a human face, otherwise identical to others of its size when a worm.
Physical Condition: Excellent but generally suffering from overexposure to sun.
Languages: English, Draconic, Loross, High Gothic, Low Gothic
Current residence: Iterant
Occupation: Discoverer, Construction servitor

Personality: Jinhai can be curt but it isn't out of malice. Generally a slow thoughtful sort Jinhai is prone to bouts of self-consideration and is impossible to offend. Though Jinhai appears male it has no sexual needs but for a deep appreciation of beauty. As long as there is something to learn from a being Jinhai has a rather flexible morality and will follow anyone that will let it. While following someone it cares to learn from it generally prefers to remain in its humanoid form except when eating. Jinhai has little inherent appreciation for social constructs between individuals even its allies but isn't malicious. The notion of a giant segmented worm chewing rocks at a table causing fear isn't something it generally concerns itself with. Its lack of social learning mostly evinces in an inability to understand itself as a stranger to others or the concept of personal space and territory. Jinhai's flexible morality often means it has no scruples against prioritizing the life of a title of interest over unknown life whether sapient or otherwise. It will use its loci to kill lesser creatures so one of interest stays alive without much hesitation especially if the person of interest is Humankind.

Background:Myrkul's vein created Jinhai as a being in its own accord to come and go as it pleases to serve construction tasks. This frequently leaves Jinhai moving through the planar network called the way currently connected to Terra. It is interested in learning all there is to learn to further the intellect of its overbeing.

If attacked, even if a gross violation of social niceties make it Jinhai's fault, its predatory talents can emerge in defense. If defending itself to a lethal degree Jinhai rapidly loses its placid peacefulness in favor of a sociopathic bent unless outside forces it respects ask it to stop and ponder. In either case Jinhai is unlikely to express remorse but if not threatened will at least express a distaste for what occurred.

Equipment: Though Jinhai frequently looks like it carries a backpack that is only to accommodate extra mass it is not investing into the humanoid form. Jinhai carries little with him but has various crystals and tools floating in its mass. This is used for his channeling of magical energies as an ascendant hairworm. Jinhai has taken to carrying metal projectile weapons inside its chest mass for deterring or killing unsuspecting targets and they are often seen bobbing to the surface.

Limitations: The nature of what composes Jinhai makes sight problematic. Jinhai cannot see very far though it can read quite well. Some larger details such as color, texture, or writing are sometimes lost on Jinhai if not close enough. Its name is kept as a distinct part of its being as the only real natural "organ" on the inside of its mass. If this worm is disrupted it will take time to reform and Jinhai will have difficulty recalling or forming memories. As the worm is frequently on the move it is difficult to target specifically without some way of tracking the creature.

Its 'Eyes' have a similar behavior but while in humanoid form they are not necessarily all under the hood it generally shapes to contain its non-face. Wherever Jinhai puts a eye-bump is where it looks from whether on the palm of a hand or the back of the neck. It cannot usefully see from an arbitrary surface on its body though the eyes can be easily reconstituted if dispersed.

Powers:
  1. Loci Crystals - Some of the loci crystals are for the carving into hard asteroids, many for manufacturing homes for groups of satellite hairworms, and others for defeating threats local to its home plane. Using these tools Jinhai is capable of transmuting comparatively vast quantities of living creatures or small amounts of mass into psimass. Other darker arrangements destroy matter though it causes significant strain to Jinhai in channelling disintegration rays. This is both to defend Myrkul's Vein from interlopers as much as to keep its targets of interest alive.
  2. Discrete Levitator - The microscopic creatures composing Jinhai are only bound to gravity when in humanoid form and can disconnect from the main mass for a short while. As a worm it careens easily through mid-air without apparent lift. It can carry a passenger though past unless very small will not be able to maintain much altitude. It can dispatch smaller copies of itself to deal with necessary tasks which have similar if more limited properties. The lack of true tissues inside of a hairworm make sharp objects without signifigant force behind them impractical to cause any real damage.
  3. All-consuming - Though a true omnivore its humanoid form isn't distinct or solid enough to engage in lithovore behavior. If the 15' long 2' wide hairworm is presented with a weapon held still too long the metal object is more likely get bit in half and chewed into dust than batted away. The worm can otherwise dessicate small creatures into carbon dust in but a few seconds.
  4. Manifester - While it can use psimass to manifest objects and weapons out of nothing such objects degrade spontaneously into piles of ectoplasm if the process is disrupted. What composes Jinhai can use these abilities in aggregate to shape actual material but Jinhai has to actually know how to make the object in question and have the right material rather than just know how it should work. Given the Almanac is quite expansive it is capable of at least repairing nearly anything.

So begins...

Glace scowled down at the ruined pod. Now there definitely was no using that to get off this rock, even if it had merely been in need of a simple recharge from a compatible source. The lack of an obscuring cloak however was regrettable, there was no reason to draw too much attention to himself on this unknown world.

He wanted to check for local communications but the disturbance nearby just underground had his scouter on the fritz. Slow, three toed strides carried the short being in the direction of the anomaly. Curiosity led the way of course, but caution and battle hardened wariness followed close behind.

The ruined basement window took on an even appearance as Jinhai's hood lurches upward finishing out its body from the Way entrance. An errant mouse trapped by a window no longer broken makes a sharp squeak as a subworm returns by way of its body from the repaired window. The deflated mouse fur is left behind as it rejoins under Jinhai's hood by diving into a roiling indistinctness. Four grey stars for eyes ignite under its hood moving about to serve as independent eyes. Jinhai turns to the stairs an eye moving off from the group to point its light downward while the others look up. Under its feet a white light hauls dust and shattered steps up to its feet. Subworms emerge from lit grey slits in the shroud around its legs to haul bits of wood closer.

The external basement door sees years of neglect melt away as Jinhai reconstitutes its chosen exit. Every so often a gout of black smoke desiccates plant life trying to drown the door in greenery.

At the sight of the doorway to the basement of a decaying structure reforming itself before his red eyes Glace paused, giving it greater attention than the rest of his surroundings as a practiced hand cycled his scouter through numerous settings and filters to try to get a better idea of what he was looking at.

"What have we here?" He murmured, at the very least there was something of power on this strange planet. That was useful knowledge at the very least, it also meant that it could be possible to find a ship out there somewhere and return to his crew.

Jinhai walked up stairs as risers pulled into place to step on. The slanted metal basement door was another matter however. Jinhai repaired the lock along with mending with everything else. Clouds of cold particles suffused the whole of the area on Glace's scouter as minute self-driving particles roiling over plant matter. Substances that lifted were seen with layers of the particles clung to the surface as they worked. Rather than the ice-cold particles freezing surfaces the life force in them was simply snuffed out. Other scanning modes might show show the plant matter and soil turn dark and empty of life. The voids had hard edges however as if subsumed because it was merely in the way as it repaired the structure. Sensors that detected the strength of creatures would be the most active as furious clouds moved about with work-groups crawling over the concrete and in the air. They effortlessly merged their prodigious wells of power as the lock melted and a hooded head emerged.

Jinhai looked in Glace's direction impassively and looked about to call the worms from below the soil line. Soil turned to dust as they ate their way out through the organic matter.

Once just one that had encountered Carnaelgaar with the entry of Myrkul into Genesis more poured themselves across the Way. A sealed psionic conduit that proved more difficult to maintain with some unknown interference building. The Jinhai had not yet a force that they could respond with to defend this world of mankind but once the danger to the collective person had passed the dozen or so black-robed Jinhai spread out to quietly acquire damaged imperial guard. They couldn't rekindle bodies where the throne of mankind, the head, was destroyed but there were a few still undamaged enough. Cognizance crystals to fuel the effort were stockpiled near a disused refrigerated warehouse that housed meticulously sorted human charnel. They took the effort to leave little evidence of their passing though while staying out of obvious notice they didn't take any hostile actions of their own if seen. Many sealed simple injuries as they went along and ended up with impromptu medic vests given by beleaguered city paramedics.

As crews open up rubble from outside ruined buildings some had a single undamaged hallway for carrying charnel back under cover. The other sign that would likely make them noticed would be guard laid unceremoniously in the street next to where their comrades still remained. The Psykers proved more difficult to raise as the Jinhai found them distasteful with the warp's taint. Only the psykers that still lived had compatible parts cleaned of antigens welded on. The deceased among psykers were discarded their parts unfit. The Jinhai refused to talk to them. The guard were asked if they knew where the Living Emperor was but the Jinhai were otherwise busy and other than responding with fabricated food and drink when asked ignored questions.

As the Guardsman went onto repairs, they would notice the strange cloaked figures albeit in quick one second glances. They were already on edge after the battle, however these strange figures seemed to be friendly for now, delivering aid to the wounded.

Of course, once they started asking questions about 'The Living Emperor' they would have mixed reactions. For some of the level headed guardsman, they would ignore the question and refuse to answer, for some of the more religious guardsman they would have their mouths sealed and refuse to talk to not be heretical. However the most religious of the guardsman, like a priest they preached about the Emperor and how he remains on a planet known as Holy Terra, a bastion of light against the tide of Chaos.

Of course, their presence was tolerated, but they did not have to be nice to strange alien creatures.

When Jinhai found the guardsman with knowledge of the Living Emperor they conferred to decide upon a course of action. It was agreed that mankind would have a better chance at delivering Myrkul's offering. This resulted in a quick assembly of a fairly large pure white psystone case in which to place a large cognizance crystal acquired upon one Jinhai's return to terra. The material while particularly fragile insulated against physical psionic contact as to not immolate the guard's mind upon touching the crystal. Wen often mixed the material into armor for their duties. It proved far more difficult to push across the Way however without a proper entrance constructed. That would take time.

The cognizance crystal itself contained a burden of power that could be shouldered by an Alpha psyker certainly not a low defender even if it could be extracted all at once. The well of Myrkul's Vein was pale so while the energy did not tear at one's mind like the warp did it proved difficult to consume a whole sack of the sickly sweet power all at once. The viscous flow was nevertheless prodigious enough to choke to death the mind of a non-psyker or even those able but unprepared.

They sealed the container with a steel cable attached to the handle telling the guard with the words etched into the programming of their psyche, "Then deliver this for Myrkul's Vein unto Him, mankind. Thus our tithe to the Living Emperor resumes. Only Him and His are worthy. Our Emperor of Mankind has fallen, long live the Emperor of Mankind."

The Jinhai returned to their duties installing a new arm onto the healthy stump of a guard. While they could keep the target from moving and numb the procedure somewhat the howl of pain from grafting a replacement limb onto the mind was sometimes deafening depending on how it had been removed.

For the Imperial Guardsman, the sign that strange xeno creatures venerating the Emperor was a welcome sight. And even more they seemed to have a gift to the Emperor himself, whatever it was it was a sealed container and they dared not to open it yet. However to enter the Imperial Palace was impossible for simple guardsman, let alone even a space marine.

However they knew two people nearby, their commanding officer and the captain of the Blood Ravens. Immediantly the seargent of the squad waved over the Vox opperator and began to vox in Imperial command. "Come in Command, we have a high priority request. We need to talk to the Commisar immediately."

Within a few second a voice answered. "Report Guardsman.

"Sir, we have a package addressed to the Throne Room."

"A package addressed to the Emperor himself? This sounds suspicious."

The Guardsman thought for a second, unlike space marines they were not highly suspicious or xenophobic. "Sir, the Blood Ravens have acquired something that may help the Emperors revival process. The Captain himself was highly injured after defending it from a demonic creature." They lied.

The Commisar thought for a moment, it was not wise to question something coming from a space marine. If it needed to be delivered to Holy Terra then so be it. "This is a high priority task, report to the nearest shuttle and arrive back on an awaiting Imperial Battleship. We move to Holy Terra immediately."

With that the guardsman went to work, decorating the container with purity seals and making it look more Imperial in origon besides some random container. They then had the cargo transported by a heavy armored regiment complete with a Baneblade and Lemen Russ Battle Tanks along with mechanized infantry. The cargo was now en-route to its destination.

Any bodies found within the rubble by then would be half-pulled into the Abyss of their own shadows, and to retrieve them, alive or dead, would be an enormous struggle, as they would have to fight against no less than five, quarter-inch thick tendrils pulling the bodies down into their own shadows, which by then were sludge-like and devoid of all light.

Another Figure in black, one of the Shadowlings, a female this time, with dark black hair tied into a pony tail and a black military uniform adorned with ribbons and medals, stood far off in the distance, merely observing. If spotted she wouldn't move, but if fired upon or attacked or approached, she would move out of sight without a sound.

The remaining Guardsman in the area still able to fight did their best to fight off the black tendrils that threatened to snag away their allies corpses. "I can't believe I am saying this! But by the Emperor do I wish there were Sisters Of Battle here! All units open fire! If they grab you full the pins on frag grenades! They will never take our bodies! Not even a strand of hair will be left!" The Commanding officer of the area called out and they all followed orders.

Guardsman that would be pulled would pull on frag grenades reducing them into little more than unsavalgable paste. Pins of corpses were pulled to deny the enemy any soldier. It was a disheartening thing to do but it was a fate better than what the enemy had in store for them. "Fight on Guardsman! Show them the might of the Guard! One day they will know never to mess with the Imperium ever again! For they will all suffer death in the end! For the Emperor!"

At the fleshweld Jinhai heard the call of the emperor's men. Mankind sighted demons and with the advent of a Tithe the Jinhai felt obligated to respond to their call in defense of the Living Emperor. Others did encounter tendrils in the rubble itself but went about their business anyway removing as much of the bodies as they could to add to their well sorted charnel. The fleshweld repaired what was missing if the throne of the mind was undamaged. As shadows ate more and more of what remains Jinhai began extracting intact spare parts of the recently dead from field hospitals. The black smoky motes that made a Jinhai's hand made an effective blade to chew material free without the shroud. It left a perfectly smooth if not straight cut whenever they sliced parts free. The dim grey light that shroudless amorphous Jinhai cast while pushing through rubble left them with no shadows themselves. Tendrils touching their mass found thousands of microscopic glowing pincers biting at the interloper.

Whole guards now capable of moving in recovery mobilized as Jinhai gave them back their weapons. Six Jinhai then dispersed in teams of two off at bent-legged gliding run across the landscape wincing guardsmen huffing in tow behind them. The others continued their work at the fleshweld. Many had limbs that once weren't theirs. Their silty voices loud yet unperturbed by the effort shouted in deep baritone, "BY THE WILL OF THE EMPEROR AND MANKIND BE DRIVEN."

They were not creatures of order but ones of structure. Impartial in their nature as much as their powers built they could also dis-incorporate. Once in range of the guard's target raised their hands a green light cracking the shroud of their arm. A green projection of disintegrative force blew out of their hand on its way to tear at the bonds that held structure together. Their other hand is used much the same but it takes time for the shroud to reincorporate for either to fire again. Dead motes fall in sheaves of wispy smoke to the ground with every blast.

Jinhai spread to this corner of reality seeking one of the Emperor's mankind in crisis which touched the warp. Or more accurately disturbed it like a dark cloud on the horizon. Tainted were among the emperor's most powerful and Jinhai would see that they would not perish from His service or fall to Demonkind. The Emperor would come looking for Jinhai and others descendant of Myrkul when he so wished. They were tools that deeply desired to be used and make themselves useful but not supplicants at His feet.

Jinhai's boots clicked against the steel he mimicked a mankind he'd seen tending to vehicles. They no longer mourned and while they had a preference for shape practicality had them alter the shroud when they needed it so. Thus a fellow still clad in black of jeans, leather jacket, and helmet clacked over to Jordyn. He set an advanced medkit down that had been torn out of a wall and cleaned. The back of the case had a conspicuous lack of debris as well as paint. The rising of the Emperor's mind had enhanced their intuition and Jinhai knew he'd need such a thing but not expressly why.

Jinhai's hand reached to cradle Epathus' head the black dress shirt sticking out a false leather coat. A triaging touch burns at injuries sealing some of the bleeding in that throne of Mankind. Jinhai could not risk altering the tainted mind directly but they could touch it. The commonality offered Epathus' mind what the Pskyker's damaged body could not sustain: a firm place upon which to stand against the warp. A tasteless well of power there upon which it could draw to rebuild the body. Much like the warp it fueled the mind but it flowed less quickly. Unlike the warp however that malicious sharpness tainting it was lacking.

If he woke from suspension then Jinhai's own voice echoed into the Psyker's mind, "The Emperor of Mankind has risen. Rise yourself, supplicant, your service is not yet done. His tools are here for you to use."

Dark nights around even a well kept prison were always somehow more dour. However to the figures that waded their way through the dark was where they were born. However not all things evil are away from the light. The a group of Jinhai eroded paths through the undergrowth along with another mind packed four deep. They could afford the expenditure of individuals with appreciative guards that provided materials. The Wen were the first thing they brought across as the Way node expanded. They'd have to move it soon and this secure area seemed the best location. If it suffered from more demonkind then that's what the Wen were for.

The ten foot high Jinhai known to themselves merely as Four emerged from the dark forest with a constellation of sixteen swirling grey eyes. They moved about scanning the grounds for enemies since the Imperial Guard took up defense of Terra. With that purpose so did Myrkul undertake observation of Terra in the Emperor's name. Each eye peers independently from beneath its hood. Behind him emerge four more single unit Jinhai in tow with two Wen each.

The Wen were simple creatures without a human to wear them but were competent fighters on their own unlike the Ductu. They sported pale white armor shells of psionic resistance over plasteel shells. They hadn't any bones to break nor blood to bleed what leverage they maintained were plasteel rods to leverage speed. Their legs shrank as the plasteel moved to allow them to four legs now that there was level ground. Their bodies elongated the head the mouth opening to a inner maw full of white, black, blue, and grey plasteel spikes. A chainsaw grinder for shredding meat and steel.

Four rose a hand pointing to the grounds a psionic command directing Wen around the perimeter to expand the Jinhai's understanding of the layout. Jinhai approached the grounds directly, by way of the gate, pouring through simple bars of physical barrier. Four waited patiently referring the memories of the Wen back to Myrkul.

A figure arrived, cladded in pure golden armor and exuding an aura of holy light. This man did not have much reason to assist such a random place, however a debt must be paid for his return. He wanted to continue passing his knowlage to the many enginseers of his nation but whatever was going on here needed his attention and assistance.

The Emperor walked up to the tall Jinhai before speaking. "Greetings...I heard you required assistance in defending this place? Unfortunately many of my marines are working on rebuilding lost technology, so I am here to assist. What are we defending this place from exactly?" he spoke.

Four turned all sixteen eyes brightening as Jinhai recognized that Imperial voice from the mind to whom it belongs. They had a general idea where the Emperor was when the wake of his mind rattled the Way but found headwinds hard to push tendrils close. The single unit Jinhai at Four's feet kneel toward the Emperor their shroud perturbed to different shapes from radiance by the Living Emperor.

Four spoke the eyes in a rigid pattern regarding the Living Emperor the placid emotionless pattern unchanged, "Honor to you, Living Emperor. I see the tithe of Myrkul's Vein finds you well. It pleases us greatly to once more to be possessed by an Emperor of Mankind.

The gloved hand of Four gestures to the dark building, "We have just arrived to find this place a locus for nonhuman powers and came to investigate. Perhaps to create a better gate to the Altar of Myrkul but we are the tools of your mind, Emperor. Fill us with your will."

In the distance a Wen made an endlessly declining howl as the living chainsaw dismantled a living creature in its path.

"I see...This place houses unknown things. Possible mutants and creatures may live here, witches and sorcerers might tap into the power here...Then this means this place must be thoroughly checked out, cleaned of any hostiles and all artifacts to be contained and locked away lest falling into the wrong hands or being destroyed could cause a disaster. Then let us depart, one less location filled with evil the safer the universe becomes." The Emperor spoke as he began to march to the dark building. No fear or hesitation in each thundering step. In proximity to the Emperor the Jinhai tuned implicitly. As much as they'd said nothing in them called themselves a people. Merely weapons and tools for Mankind to use doubly so the Emperor. Making themselves as similar nodes as they could for the mind they observe now that they had a point from which to observe. Their own awareness available to the Emperor of Mankind as much as the very deep expanse of Jinhai's collective memory.

Inside their awareness was many things. Such as the map of the Way as Jinhai stretched out throughout this new universe. A deeply nested and vast corpus built over centuries of isolation formed the basis of the psiforms that predicated their technology. The link to Genesis where Myrkul's Vein remained was a far more murky view but view from there of thousands of Wen haunting a black mountain in the warp can be seen. Myrkul itself busied itself with management tasks keeping a tally of psimass of various descriptions as they expand their resource gathering equipment along the vast wheat plain. Thin spires there still under construction were in preparation for creating a wider channel to Myrkul's Vein across the Warp. Some Jinhai in Genesis already bean labeling their constructions with the likeness of the Emperor of Mankind.

There was no doubt in their minds and neither loyalty. No joy and no hate. Dicta held in the Altar of Myrkul that shaped their being named them servants of the Emperor of Mankind but the face curiously missing. Once they'd found another worthy their loyalty hadn't hesitated but now it had a face. They thought of themselves weapons and no more. The robust intellects of Wen were built to resist the influences of some half-remembered enemy of which they knew little and Demonkind. Wen were far more simplistic creatures much huge dogs but held a well-crafted a man sized space in their minds to insulate a human being. They'd consumed several rabbits along the way but paramount in their intellect was the space dedicated to senses and defense. With it they'd tasted the fabric of reality and found it wanting. Defenses held the space together but the walls between here and the Warp weaken badly at the density of the truly mad. While hurling themselves forward at breakneck speed the pair mapped the whole of the outer fence in opposite directions. Their mental leash is minded by Four whom walked quietly alongside the Emperor as no concern of status or approval had weapons.

As the Emperor entered the building, his psychic mind could easily tell that the veil between reality was thin here. It was clear any use of psychic powers here could tear unwanted holes where demons could pour from. Of course the Emperor did not need to rely only on his mind, his very sword was enough to dispatch whatever creature lurked inside. The question was why would anyone build such a building? Some crazed cultists perhaps? Researchers studying powers far beyond their understanding? Such a building was a threat to man itself if the creatures here got loose. Subjecting the place to orbital destruction would be more harmful due to the unstable nature of reality in this place.

The Emperor simply remained quiet, even his footsteps produced no sound. His ears open and alert to even the smallest of sounds. He may be back, but he was still rusty in actual combat. Getting used to a physical body after staying in a spiritual form for a long time was certainly something to get used to. He should be back to normal in a few weeks at most.

Four bent down to inspect a guard station its awareness spreading from roving constellations of eyes. Surfaces where the memory lingered over papers. The freshly rancid taste from motes of food left on a wrapper in a trash can. A place of defense that shouldn't be empty and was used recently. Four pulled on the reins connecting it to the Wen directing them inside it didn't like the iron taint it felt that muted all the other psychic impressions. Something cleaned away negative emotion from the shack like the red human fluid that likely caused them. Demonkind were predators they were desiring the minds and body of mankind but often not the simple creatures Wen were. It's that subterfuge under the skin of mankind to explode out at their corrupted motivations that made them the most dangerous.

As Wen leapt over rear fortifications making their way across the grounds psychic defenses meant to incapacitate fleeing prisoners. Crackling over their white plated armor in the air above the wrought iron fence bombardment rumbled against their dense mental bulwarks but found lacking. The effort grounded into their earthy minds like their sharp toed feet ate into the grass. In a pair they rumbled across the courtyard looking at windows and doors for targets and defences. The creatures easily noted a careless patient peering out at noises too rashly. Wen were seen in the distance arched up to silently peal an alarm across their link to Four. Their third eye saw a taint in the eyes of the bent mind. A carefully tuned psychic filter caught the scent roiling from tears in the fabric serving as barrier to the warp. Their minds categorized the black ripples across the shadows as wrinkles from aftershocks of some distant penetrative event.

Four considered the raw sense of Wen. One of the four smaller Jinhai loped forward to the Emperor to vocalize the thoughts as is custom for Mankind, "There is a breach in progress. We feel human defenders have been destroyed and the suffering cleansed to avoid notice. Wen smell cracks and see tainted human minds. It is possible the event of a shadow being near our current Way gate has buckled the weakness here. Our conjecture is it may crack soon so the enemy hides but it may be yet be too sturdy for many proper Demonkind to cross. Jinhai must observe the void behind defensive walls to know the scope of our work."

At dark stone and burnished wood door carefully laid with protective patterns of some sort he continued, "The Jinhai can repair cracks if the taint is removed."

"So something did eliminate the guards stationed here...Obviously since we are here to eliminate whatever is inside this place. Whatever is here is cunning enough to not leave any trace behind. But tainted human minds? Is it Chaos in origin? Or is it some unknown cult doing the work here? Whatever it is they clearly intend to shatter the barrier here and unleash deamons onto the mortal plane. If I was not here the local Guardsman would not be enough, the planet would be overwhelmed and we would have to resort to cleansing the whole planet in fire...I shall locate the source myself, my mind can pick up on their hiding spot." The Emperor spoke as he closed his eyes and channeled his psychic might. He soon began to search for the presence of the enemy he was looking for, he had no time to wait around hoping to bump into them.
