Major Walsh, Ben entered, wearing jeans, and a brown battle dress uniform tee-shirt. On his feet was a pair of brown work boots. He carried with him a plastic coke bottle in which was some spit. The bulge in his lower lip indicated that he was chewing tobacco.

Despite the country look he had intelligent blue eyes. With a smile and a tip of his hat to anyone that looked up when he entered, he move to the bar and then sat.
