Murdered in the massive attack on Langara, Roana died a noble death. News that the Divine Shadow had abandoned the Aschen people had spread quicker than wild fire and riots had broken out everywhere. In the chaos another entity had arrived. It loomed in the atmosphere, an ominous warning. Roana had been making her way with her room-mate Kelby to her workplace of Graystone Industries, a sturdy and secure location. They arrived in time to be saved. Unfortunately, Roana didn't make immediate security clearance and was left outside to wait. Kelby struggled with the authorities as the bomb was dropped outside. Charred remains indicate a soldier attempted to save Roana in his last act of life. Nobody caught in the blast radius unprotected outside survived.

University of Aquaria

The University of Aquaria is arguably Langara's most prestigious educational institution, with an excellent job placement program and beautiful campus. These are the students, faculty, and staff.

Friends and family speculate that if she never followed Kelby she would still be alive, despite her neighborhood being closer to the impact zone than where she met her end. In fact, her flat was flattened entirely. In a higher class district, Roana's parents mourned the sure loss of their daughter. Roana was young, in her last year of University. She excelled in her studies and was friendly to those that knew her. Popular on campus, an old professor of hers remarks that she was always eager to complete. Decorated with two Perfect Attendance awards and an Ethics Achievement award many say Roana Maelogue was a true role model. She was said to be seeing Braxton, or Rex for alias. Her parents refuse to comment. Roana was an honorable and upstanding citizen of the Aschen Empire.
