Full Name: Savvas
Nicknames: Sav, 'Vas, 'Av

Biographical: "Er... Let's see. Well, you know my name, obviously. I'm Savvas. I'm what my homeland calls a 'pale waste of space'. People like me? We're not common there. That makes us different and weird, so folks generally don't look at us like we're actually people. My parents are both regular Nattians, but my little sister and I are both 'shifters. We can't really help it. I know that Earth has these things called albinos that look a lot like we do when we're au naturale, but I don't think they can change how they look. Ah well. No sense in worrying over cracked bark, I suppose. Anyway, I'm a male Nattian. We all speak English. I don't think there're any other languages on our tiny planet, at least. I'm twenty-seven-years-old, and my little sister's just about to turn twenty-two.

"What do I look like? Well... Anything. I could look like anyone I wanted to. Naturally, I'm just very pale. My skin's white, my eyes are white, my hair's white. I'm pretty tall, something like six-foot-three. My Dad's really tall, too! Assa's just the same as me - pale white everywhere, 'cept she's more Mum-sized and is probably a good seven or eight inches shorter than I am. What does Assa do? She models. She doesn't really like it, though. She wants to work with computers - you know, fixing them, building them, selling them. That kind of gyp. She just hasn't found the right place to settle down yet, though. Modelling pays well, and she's got the patience for it, being fussed over by make-up folk. I don't model, no. I've got a cushy desk job, assistant managing this new branch in Wing City. It's great. Close to my sister and so on.

"Hm... my likes. I like a lot of things; I'm pretty easy-going. S'probably why I find both men and women attractive - I can see something great in both, though I do prefer women. I love eating, too, and the occasional bar crawl. S'why I've to keep on going to the gym. There's only so much that shapeshifting can do. But, uh... listen - I should go. I promised Assa, my sister, that I'd meet her about twenty minutes ago. I'll see you later... maybe?"

So begins...

Savvas turned his head to look up at the helpful stranger, lowering his hands from where he had gingerly been attempting to investigate the injury. Assa's hands went back to covering the left side of her face, grimacing.

"I - well. Help would be nice. I don't think he broke anything - maybe it'll just bruise..." Savvas stated, slowly standing up and looking past Markuss to glare at Caleb. "Bastard," he growled. "Fuck him... C'mon, Assa, you're going to have to let this nice guy see your face if he's going to help us out." Savvas placed a hand onto Assa's shoulder and squeezed, hoping to fortify his sister's 'bravery' - she was a bit of a wimpy thing, really.

The eldest of the two siblings in the bar felt like ignoring Markuss and just smacking Caleb, but it took only a glance at his sister, curled in on herself and sniffling pathetically. Realistically, he knew that most of this was his fault - but still... Caleb could've not been such a violent douchebag and hit both of them in the past week.

"Cheers," Savvas murmured at Markuss as Assa slowly opened her mouth, wincing only a little at the twinge that made itself painfully known.

"It hurts," Assa stated, perhaps unnecessarily. Still, she took the ice pack from Markuss and applied it to the side of her face with another grimace, and a tearful look shared between her brother and her first aider.

"I'm so sorry, Assa," Savvas insisted. "I really, really am. I didn't think he'd - well, I knew he - he's a douchebag, okay, and I'm sorry for letting you go near him when he's clearly got less brains than your average bird-shit."

That... probably wasn't helping.

"You're the freak here - she did absolutely nothing to you! All she did was let me play a game that she didn't have a part in, you fuckwit." Savvas snarled - at least, he was snarling until the new bloke started firing off shots. Then it was more of a squeak as he retreated back to his sister (shapeshifter he may be, but he wasn't invincible) to enfold her in a protective embrace. "C'mon, 'Sa, we should go."

"I told you it would be like this," Assa muttered, still pressing the ice pack against the side of her head. "I said, Sav!"

Assa clung to Savvas once Caleb started howling his pain for the world to know - sure, the guy'd just smacked her in the face, but dear Lord. Was shooting him really necessary. "Savvas!" the younger sibling squeaked. "Oh, Goddess, Savvas, he shot him!"

"I can see that - come on, 'Sa, over here!"

Savvas managed to lead his sister away from the man who thought that shooting someone in a populated bar as anything like a good idea, quite shaken himself by this point. It was all very well, shouting abuse at one another and throwing a few punches - but guns? He'd never even held a gun, let alone fired one at someone!

"Maybe should've stayed in to watch Glee tonight."

He hadn't been stalking Caleb. He had promised - promised, mind you - his little sister that he would stay away and that he wouldn't 'go looking for trouble again'. He'd almost told her that it was his duty as a brother to go and kick the shit out of Caleb Jefferson, but he couldn't look her in the eye (only could look her in one eye, the other swollen shut, the delicate skin surrounding it bruised and inflamed) and deny her her wishes.

If he'd pinky-promised with one hand and crossed his fingers on the other, well... Assa was never to know of Savvas' deception.

And really, Savvas hadn't gone looking for trouble, for Caleb. He'd came to the bar for a drink, a quiet chat, perhaps, with a bartender or other hapless patron. But then Caleb had been there, away to sidle upstairs with some poor girl who didn't know what a bastard he was, and Savvas mouth was making sounds all by itself before he even realised.

"Caleb! Caleb, I'm so sorry I'm late, I got held up at work - we're still good for our anniversary date, right?"

"What are you talking about, Caleb?" Savvas said, voice taking on an amused thought slightly confused tone. "Are you still hopped up on that medication you got for your foot, love?"

It was probably funnier to Savvas than it should've been, but the bastard deserved to have something ruined - he had punched his sister in the face, after all!

"Sorry," Savvas added to the girl. "I really don't know what's gotten into him - c'mon, Caleb, maybe you and I should go home, hm? We can call the doctor, if you like."

"Oh dear..." Savvas managed to look rather hurt at Caleb's words despite the glee growing within at the sheer discomfort his presence was producing. "Caleb, love, I'm sorry if I did something, but you need to come home - I'm so worried about you. I thought we were going to eat out tonight for our anniversary, but..."

The shapeshifter strayed a few steps closer to Caleb, holding out a hand to the other man. "See, everyone else knows that we're together, Cale'..."

Savvas' bottom lip was trembling with the effort required to suppress his laughter. He shared a concerned look with Missy before he nodded. Even his voice shuddered - rather as if he were close to tears, but clearly the reality was far from what was seen - as he spoke.

"Maybe that would be best. Oh, Cale', what've you done to yourself?" The shapeshifter turned away from the others in the bar to walk over to Caleb. If his moue of discontent twisted into a smirk for a bare few seconds, well... Only Caleb was party to that and would understand the situation entirely. "Would you be able to do something to help?" Savvas enquired of Nik politely. "I really think something's gone wrong - he just - we're - he loves me! I don't understand what's happening to him!"

Savvas was quick to come to Missy's aid - where she would perhaps have been gentle and coaxing, Savvas' grip was iron-tight and unforgiving. "Oh, Caleb. We really need to get you to hospital; you haven't shouted this much since you came out to your brother." It was a lucky guess, really. Savvas didn't even know if Caleb had siblings, let alone a brother he would come to explosively. "Please, please calm down, love. I'm so sorry that you're upset, but I'll help you, you know I will!"

Help him avoid impregnating any unfortunate women in the near future, that was. "We're certainly not comedians! Caleb's just - he got shot in the foot, the poor thing!" He deserved it, Savvas' mind crowed! "He got some pain medication from the doctor when we went to the hospital... Oh, I hope he hasn't gone and overdosed or something."

Savvas eyed Nik uncertainly; God only knew what his deal was. Still, he had a point to prove to Caleb, and this was it. "Caleb, Caleb, you're just making things up now! You won't be sleeping with any girls as long as I'm here, will you? Because I deserve that much. You don't have any children. You've probably never even held a baby the proper way, or spent more than a few hours with one under your care... Are you going to stop this nonsense now, Cale', and behave yourself?"

He hadn't let go, fingers clamped like steel where he was holding on to Caleb, keeping him both upright and exactly where he was.

"We're both gay. Together."

"I have no idea what he's talking about," Savvas stated, shaking his head. "He's never been this strange before! He's usually very level-headed, kind, compassionate... He certainly does not sleep around or have illegitimate children!"

Having almost had enough of keeping up the delusion, Savvas tightened his grip just slightly before he released Caleb, fussing for a moment as if to assure himself that Caleb was capable of standing on his own.

"Perhaps this has been a long time coming."

Savvas shook his head mournfully, looking at Missy with a defeated expression. "He's never really been comfortable, being out. Maybe this is how he really, really feels, and I shouldn't keep loving someone who can't love me back the same way... I should just leave. My sister will be waiting; I promised her we'd both go visit, but... Well, I suppose that she'll just have to settle for me right now. Perhaps you could phone an ambulance for him? I'm not helping. He doesn't want me here."

Savvas even managed to get his eyes to water (though all-out sobbing was a bit beyond his artistic scope), and ducked his head to hide a smile and wipe at his eyes. "Bye, Caleb. I'll - I'll see you again real soon, okay? I'll make sure you're okay."

"Oh, I never had to lure Caleb to bed. He was always quite willing," Savvas retorted, frowning at Caleb's threat. "Just make sure the paramedics know that he has someone who can look after him if it's needed - I'll be in as soon as I've told my sister about what happened anyway," he continued, turning to address the unfortunate (or would that be fortunate) Missy. "I'm truly, truly sorry about anything he has said or will say to you, and I'm very grateful for your aid. Goodbye, Caleb."

And then Savvas turned on his heel to leave. Perhaps he wouldn't be informing Assa of what he'd done today. Maybe he should've changed his face and his voice or something; he really hadn't been thinking at all.

Oh, but it could! Not only could it get worse, but it could become its worst - and worst came in the form of a tall, broad-shouldered man carrying a fruit basket, flowers and a large balloon striding happily towards Caleb's bed.

"Wow. You didn't seem like this much of a kinky bastard when we were in bed together, you know. I never took you for the type to like being all strapped down."

Savvas would've danced with glee if he weren't worried about upsetting the fruit basket or dropping his balloon.

"So... I talked to one of the nurses. Apparently you've been a very bad person, Caleb. Tut, tut, tut. And here I thought that you were just pure kindness enveloped in a ball of cotton. My mistake."

"Ah, well, see... Slight problem with that, Caleb. If you'd just left well enough alone when you'd caught me leaving your room, or if you'd not been such a complete arse and started attacking me and threatening my sister, I probably would've just left you alone." Savvas dropped into a plastic chair beside the bed and tied the balloon string lazily onto the cuff holding Caleb to the bed. "I'll just leave the flowers here on your table," he added with a cheeky grin.

"Now, where was I? Yeah, if you weren't a complete douche, I'd have left you alone. Except then you threatened my sister, then you actually hit her, and then you said you were going to do it again. So, no. No, Caleb. I will not leave now. I'll tell you this, though: you're incredibly lucky that nurses aren't in the habit of letting visitors beat the everlasting life out of their patients. I'm rather annoyed at you, you must understand."

"You've already done that, Caleb, and I told you: you were okay, but nothing spectacular." The shapeshifter idly sifted through the various fruits in the basket until he found a small box of grapes, which he started eating with tangible amusement. "And you're really not in any state to be threatening me, by the way. 'You better get out of here now - or else!' Aah, ha ha ha."

Savvas leant forward and settled his elbows on his knees, eyes on Caleb's. "What're you gonna do, huh? Glare at me until I explode? Shakin' in my boots, darling. Shakin'."

"Wow, didn't really think you were going to go for the glaring thing. You do know you can't blow people up by staring too hard, right? You do realise that? Are you still all doped up?" Sav was smirking - and occasionally eating a grape - whilst he sat and simply looked Caleb in the eye. Watching him struggle amused Savvas.

"Why don't we get down to the point?" The alien male suggested as he plucked the 'call nurse' button from the side of the bed and laid it on the table beside his gifted flowers. "You're in a vulnerable state right now, so I figure that you'll just listen to me like the good bitch that you look like right now. You annoy me, Caleb. Which is sad, because to begin with I actually quite liked you and thought you'd be a half-decent friend. Apparently, though, you're this massive douchebag who goes around hitting girls."

The 'shifter shook his head slowly and stood up, discarding the fruit into the basket settled beside the bed. "What will I do? Hm. You're cuffed to a bed... I'm not. What do you think I'll do, Caleb? I could... hit you... I could smother you. I could steal a pair of scrubs, change into the first nurse I see and then do all sorts of things. And the best thing is that you won't even know if it's me, will you? For the rest of your stay here, you're going to wonder whether or not your doctor is really your doctor. So why don't you just shut up, stop wriggling around on the bed like the pathetic worm you are and listen to me."

Savvas had leant down to Caleb's height by the end of his speech, and the last few words were growled near-silently at the restrained man.

"Because all it took, Caleb, was one woman buying my trick to get you in here, practically chained to a bed. The nurses let me walk right in, and I doubt that a doctor would be more willing to believe you, the guy who overdosed on pain meds, over me. So... do you want to risk my turning up in a pair of scrubs and with a scalpel or do you want to sit still and listen, hm?"

"Well, first of all, you're going to apologise to my sister. I don't expect any magic apology from you for what I did, because I knew and it was my decision to make. Assa, however, did bugger all to deserve getting smacked in the face. And once you've apologised, you're never going to even so much as look at her again - and I will know. That's all I want. You, not trying to hunt my sister down for something I did, and that's that. Understand, or do you need me to repeat it in one-syllable words?"

"That sounds acceptable," Savvas agreed, righting himself and turning to glance out the doorway. "Right, I'm going to tell them that you're being particularly nice and that I'd be very grateful if they'd let me get you home for a better recovery. I'll even tell them that I'll look after you - but," he tacked on quickly, hoping to avoid riling Caleb further now that he'd got what he came for, "I obviously won't stay. Are you cool with that?"

Savvas was practically charming now that he had Caleb's assurances that Assa would soon be receiving an apology. "Excuse me, nurse!" He followed the scrub-clad woman a few feet down the hall before gaining her attention, and thus began the bartering to have Caleb released.
