Full Name: Savvas
Nicknames: Sav, 'Vas, 'Av

Biographical: "Er... Let's see. Well, you know my name, obviously. I'm Savvas. I'm what my homeland calls a 'pale waste of space'. People like me? We're not common there. That makes us different and weird, so folks generally don't look at us like we're actually people. My parents are both regular Nattians, but my little sister and I are both 'shifters. We can't really help it. I know that Earth has these things called albinos that look a lot like we do when we're au naturale, but I don't think they can change how they look. Ah well. No sense in worrying over cracked bark, I suppose. Anyway, I'm a male Nattian. We all speak English. I don't think there're any other languages on our tiny planet, at least. I'm twenty-seven-years-old, and my little sister's just about to turn twenty-two.

"What do I look like? Well... Anything. I could look like anyone I wanted to. Naturally, I'm just very pale. My skin's white, my eyes are white, my hair's white. I'm pretty tall, something like six-foot-three. My Dad's really tall, too! Assa's just the same as me - pale white everywhere, 'cept she's more Mum-sized and is probably a good seven or eight inches shorter than I am. What does Assa do? She models. She doesn't really like it, though. She wants to work with computers - you know, fixing them, building them, selling them. That kind of gyp. She just hasn't found the right place to settle down yet, though. Modelling pays well, and she's got the patience for it, being fussed over by make-up folk. I don't model, no. I've got a cushy desk job, assistant managing this new branch in Wing City. It's great. Close to my sister and so on.

"Hm... my likes. I like a lot of things; I'm pretty easy-going. S'probably why I find both men and women attractive - I can see something great in both, though I do prefer women. I love eating, too, and the occasional bar crawl. S'why I've to keep on going to the gym. There's only so much that shapeshifting can do. But, uh... listen - I should go. I promised Assa, my sister, that I'd meet her about twenty minutes ago. I'll see you later... maybe?"

So begins...

Savvas stopped, backing up a few paces and panting with the exertion garnered from the simple act of throwing the entirety of his anger into an onslaught of physical attacks. "You should be put in jail," the shapeshifter groused. "And you should be in a communal cell with dozens of men who know exactly why you're in there. I hear they don't take kindly to bastards like you who endanger and hurt children."

It was less than he deserved, of that Savvas was sure. "And yeah, you'll leave Cetec and Assa alone. If you know what's good for you, you won't go near her house ever again."

"Oh, yeah, you didn't hurt the child - no, we solved that by getting him back! And don't even think about what losing Cetec would've done to Assa, of course. If we hadn't gotten him back, she'd have been a mess, you son of a bitch."

Getting pissed off and yelling at Caleb really wasn't doing anything to help.

"Forget your annulment, by the way. I'm dragging this out. I'm taking my sweet time signing any papers and attending any meetings, you can be damn sure of that!"

"Try? You bought second-hand furniture and then didn't even put it together. You left my sister cleaning up her own vomit because you'd burnt toast and slathered it in enough butter to fry an entire pig in, and then shucked off your trousers and wandered back upstairs with a beer! You weren't there when Cetec was born, I don't think you even know what Assa does for a living and I'm pretty damn sure that you couldn't even tell me what our last name is - and let me tell you this, Cetec's last name is not Jefferson! And then, as if all of that wasn't bad enough, you sold your own child! So no. It won't be quick and quiet. At all."

"Unlike you, Caleb, I don't drunkenly marry people. I won't be married in the next year. I think a year is a good period of time to aim for. Though I can't really guarantee that we'll be done by a year... I know exactly how to draw this out - lost paperwork, missed meetings, mix-ups with my attorney... So many ways to make it last. As for your threat, well, I happen to know a guy who would gladly move in right now if I asked him because a dirtbag like you has just threatened Cet and Assa. You might know him, he's that guy you sold the baby too. Your half-brother?"

"Apparently your daddy got around," Savvas stated, smirking, "because when the police got the baby-buyer in for a statement, they found out that his father is the same guy listed as your father on the system. Isn't that a funny little coincidence? You, a douchebag with no sense of responsibility, sold your son to your half-brother, who wants nothing more than a child of his own. What a lark! He's done more for Assa and Cetec in the past week than you've done in the months and months we've known you!"

Savvas grinned, the expression nasty and amused all at once. "Oh, you keep believing that. I dunno, Caleb, my parents weren't the best 'cause of Assa and I looking a bit pale, but... Neither of them ever left us to go start another, better family," he sniggered, stepping back towards the door.

"Maybe he saw what a screw-up you were and though it best to quit whilst he still had the chance?"

Savvas, now quite aware that he had gone too far, wasn't too happy when Caleb got half a grip on him and then thoroughly smacked him in the face. Still, he reasoned as he clambered to his feet and hoped to shove Caleb back, it was totally worth it.

The bastard deserved to get angry now and then. Really deserved it. More than deserved it.

Savvas retreated to the door; he had one tricky phone call to make now, and perhaps an ice pack to apply to his bruising eye. "You already did that, Caleb, and I told you: too vanilla! You've made your bed, and now I'm going to string you up and hang you above it, mate. Enjoy!"

Finished with both the fight and the verbal taunting, Savvas ducked out of the bar and headed towards his apartment, rather satisfied with himself.

So, Savvas had been rather... irked when he turned up at Assa's house, just minutes behind the police that he had contacted as soon as she was off the phone (yeah, right, like Caleb's threats could keep him from doing anything), to find that Cetec had been hurt. Killian's presence hadn't helped - but that was kind of his own fault.

That didn't really stop him from having a bit of a minor confrontation, which mostly included Savvas yelling at Killian for not preventing the unpreventable, and then sulking for the rest of the evening whilst Assa explained what Caleb had done. Soon, a young medic had been summoned and he announced that Cetec would be fine with some rest and lots of cuddles.

Well, Savvas was not fine. He'd been to his lawyer at 5AM that morning, and now he had annulment papers in a thick manila envelope and a very big chip on his shoulder. His skin had been black for the past ten hours, and he raised a black hand to bang loudly on Caleb's hotel-room door.

Savvas' murderous expression didn't dissipate at all when faced with a woman instead of the bastard who'd impregnated his sister. "Hope you used a condom," he stated blandly. "'Cause my husband gets a lot of woman pregnant. Messy business. Get the fucker out of his bed so I can punch him in the face, please."

Savvas bared his teeth in something like a smile, and gestured through the room. "Any time right this second would be fabulous."

Savvas considered the appearance of Caleb for just a moment and, whilst he held up one hand with the manila envelope at eye-level, curled his other hand tightly into a fist before bodily throwing a potentially rather painful hit towards Caleb's face.

"Yes, I've got your papers," Savvas snarled in response, regardless of whether or not he actually hit Caleb. "I even brought a pen."

Savvas smiled - properly, this time, no skull's grimace apparent when Caleb was groaning on the ground in front of him, because of him. "You already 'fucking did' me," Savvas stated smugly, leaning into the door jamb to allow the girl to pass him by. "Don't worry, just a married couple's spat. It's all good. I'd stay away from him if I were you - he probably has rabies and a myriad of STDs."

Smirking, he paced a few steps closer to Caleb and dropped the manila folder beside his head, thoroughly satisfied at the heavy thud that the annulment papers provided upon their collision with the floor. "Give these to your lawyer once you've signed them, you idiot. And don't go near my family again, else it won't just be your nose that ends up broken."

"The bloody things are all signed. I mean it, Caleb, I'm not screwing around any more. You touch him, you touch Assa, I'm going to kill you," Savvas stated, smirk fading to a frown as his skin darkened from the pale grey it had lightened to (joy at seeing Caleb in pain had made him feel better, but now that happiness was dissipating as quickly as his skin was blackening). "And don't kid yourself, shithead. You're not smart enough to think ahead. That's why your nose is broken, that's why we're married. I'll just as easily get rid of Killian if he turns out to be another, slightly brighter version of you, but somehow I don't think he will be. He hasn't accidentally killed Cet yet, after all. Try threatening me. I don't care. The police might, though."

There was real worry stirring in the back of Savvas' mind, but his face was still housing the same pissed off frown he'd had for the past few minutes. "I think the real question, Caleb, is whether or not the wardens at whatever jail you get yourself locked in will turn a blind eye long enough for your cellmates to kill you when someone lets slip just why you're in there."

Savvas shook his head, affecting another cocky smirk as he stared at Caleb. "I hear that, even amongst murderers and thieves, most of them think hurting children is just criminal. And just think, Caleb... if I can threaten you with becoming your doctor, a nurse... what makes you think I can't get into a courtroom or a prison? Your hotel room, when you're asleep? I'm not threatening you, Caleb. I'm telling you that I can kill you just as easily as you can get another STD to add to what must be your vast collection. And do you really want to risk that? Two shapeshifters, Caleb. Two people who can become anyone in the whole world for as long as they need to stab you in the throat with a nasty pointed object. Really, Caleb? Want to risk that?"

"Assa's getting pretty close to thinking that the world would be better off without you marking it with your blood. You don't know the half of it - it was all very well when all you had done was hurt her. She's too sweet, far too good for the likes of you. But you just threatened the life of her only child, and you keep doing it. We'll see who ends up being right, won't we? Sign those damn papers and get them to your lawyer," Savvas ordered harshly as he took a few steps back and turned to leave.

"I'd make sure you lock your doors tonight, though. Assa and I probably aren't the only ones who wouldn't mind seeing you cease to exist."

"You're a saint, Killian," Assa replied, ever so grateful for even a short respite. All the excitement had taken a toll, and the frail shapeshifter just wanted to curl up in her bed for a solid few hours. "His buggy's in the cupboard, so's his little jacket and hat. Anything else'll be in his room."

That said, Assa trooped upstairs to nap off some steam.

It wasn't long after that a car door slammed shut outside, and a very, very pale man advanced upon the household.

"I don't think so." Savvas stopped in front of the pair and scowled at the man holding his nephew. "Assa!" he yelled, assuming that, rather than legitimately taking a nap, his sister had been - as Caleb had said - overpowered by the larger man. "Get back inside; you're not going anywhere with him. No way, not you."

He folded his arms stubbornly over his chest and attempted to glare Killian into cooperating with him. "I'm serious, get back in the damn house."

Upstairs, Assa was dragging herself out of her just-warm bed - what on Earth was he screaming about?
