-WELCOME, MR. EREB.
-ACCESSING....

-James grew up on the planet Reach within UNSC Space, and there he had a relatively easy life, until the Human-Covenant war began, and he was drafted into the UNSC. As a soldier James Excelled in every role from scouting to heavy assault. This caught the eye of ONI,, a top secret organization interested in building super soldiers. James was chosen to participate in the Spartan III program, and was physically and mentally augmented after months of rigorous training. He was then given a suit of Armor, and an entire platoon of some of the UNSC's best troops to command in combat against the Covenant onslaught.

After the fall of Reach, James was redeployed to a recently discovered planet known as Terra. He was to set up a base for the UNSC to expand and retreat to in case the Covenant found Earth and decimated it. However the war ended, and James was recovered to fight insurrectionists; the original job for the Spartan III's.

James followed orders to the letter until one day, he was forced to attack a civilian village full of innocent people simply because Command had reports that there was an Insurrectionist spy hiding within the village. James drew the line there, and refused orders. ONI declared him a traitor to the UNSC, and put out a bounty for him to be brought back to them Alive so they could reclaim all of the data they had poured into his head and body over his years of Military service.

They never got that chance, however, as James met Mr. Gabriel Ereb of Ereb Industries, who offered him a much simpler solution than simply running and hiding for the rest of his life: Join the Alpha Trooper Program, keep his rank, and lead a squad of Troopers. The catch? James can never leave his new armor that was provided for him when he joined the Program. At first he didn't enjoy the idea of being imprisoned in a suit that had a literal kill-switch on it, but soon he came to accept it, and is now gladly carrying out orders from his new boss.

He owes Mr. Ereb his life; and he is prepared to give it to him if need be.

Storm-Shadow nodded. "Yes Sir." he said. "I believe that Shadow Sabre will oversee your return home." he said as he walked into the nearest shadow and disappeared within it.

A figure emerged from the shadows of the bar, his arms crossed in front of him. He was covered in a black mesh-like suit that covered his entire body, and his helmet covered his face. He appeared to be very muscular, with a build equivalent of a super soldier.

On his back was a large sword, and a rifle. On his thighs were a pistol and a combat knife. All of them were more than enough to take out a large amount of enemies in the right hands.

Storm-Shadow uncrossed his arms, looking around the bar. "Security on duty. Any and all hostile actions should be taken outside." he said. His voice had no emotion in it, and it was deep and computerized. He was looking at Geist and his companions as he said it.

Storm-Shadow looked to the two men who addressed him. Clearly they did not know who they were dealing with.

His HUD had scanned the entirety of the bar, highlighting any and all weapons and armors and highlighting any and all weaknesses in said armor or weapons.

"I advise that you take your 'business' elsewhere." He said to the two. From behind his dark green visor, which could not be seen through, his pupils changed, becoming dragon-like slits.

"I won't ask again." he said. "If you are simply going to talk, then talk. But I don't want to see a single weapon pointed at anyone."

Storm-Shadow continued to stand there, seemingly staring at anyone he deemed a threat. He said nothing. Nothing at all. It was like he was suddenly a statue, when in reality his mind was going over many things at once, such as battle plans, places to hide, and many other things. He did not relax, he did not tense up. He did not move.

Storm-Shadow continued to stand there, but he moved now, crossing his arms over his chest. His head did not move however, still staring at the people that he deemed threats. His pupils continued to stay in their current shape of a draconic slit, and showed no signs of changing. His mind was still working on things, but he would soon run out of things to think about. Then he'd have to move.

Storm-Shadow watched the three operators leave, then blinked, his pupils returning to the normal circles one would find on most creatures. He uncrossed his arms, looking at the nearest chair. He walked over, his feet landing with an eerie silence as he grabbed the chair, lifted it, and set it down in a spot of the bar that was shrouded in shadow.

Storm-Shadow continued to sit the chair he had brought to the shadows and sat in. He then looked to the door as people came in, and stood, emerging from the shadows yet again. He approached The Officers and stopped not too far from them. "All hostilities had ceased without any injuries." he said calmly with his deep, computerized and intimidating voice.

Storm-Shadow glanced at Uirusu, not answering her nor showing any other sign that he knew she was there. He continued to look at the Officers, as they seemed to have just ignore him completely. Or they had heard him but were just doing their jobs. He watched them for a few seconds, not really moving from the door. But he did move to a nearby shadow, standing within it so that he was out of view.

Storm-Shadow emerged from the shadows, approaching The Officers again. "My suit recorded the entire conflict, and if you would like, I can send you the entire thing from my point of view, it includes the faces of the people who were questioning your fellow Aschen." he said in his computerized voice.

Storm-Shadow looked to Cam for a few seconds before turning back to The Officers. 'Paia, send the Aschen the clip of the conflict on a secure channel. I'm sure that we and the Aschen wouldn't want that clip falling into the wrong hands.' he thought. Because Paia, his AI, was basically part of his mind, it heard his command.

Storm-Shadow looked back to The Officers and gave them a nod. "The clip from my suit has been sent and is ready for you to examine. Have a nice day." he said calmly.

Storm-Shadow had been mentally writing in a journal of sorts that he kept on his HUD when The Armored Man entered the bar and sat not too far away from him. He finished what he was thinking, then closed his virtual journal, turning his head to look at the man in the booth not too far away.

He stood from his chair in the shadowy corner and took in a breath. "If you don't mind me asking..." he started as he emerged from his shadowy spot. "..But what kind of work do you do?" he asked. He was tall; about six foot two inches in height, and had a muscular build similar to that of a super soldier. His entire body was covered in a pitch black mesh-like substance. His head was hidden and forever sealed within his helmet, which was the same color as the suit, and his visor was a very dark green.

Paia had scanned the armored man. She scanned his armor, as well as any and all weapons on his person. His HUD would pick each piece apart and find weak points should hostilities arise.

Not like that was going to happen.

Storm-Shadow continued to walk until he was a few feet from the booth, where he stopped. He crossed his arms over his chest as he observed the man and his reaction to seeing him. He had a small smirk of amusement on his face, not that it mattered. His face couldn't be seen anyway.

"I see, that is unfortunate." he said calmly. "However, before we continue a conversation, I must introduce myself. I am Storm-Shadow, and I work for Ereb Industries as...many things." he said, choosing his words carefully. "And you are?" he asked.

'Paia, can you get me a list of things I shouldn't be saying so I don't end up endangering anyone?' he thought to his AI, who responded by putting the list up on his HUD. 'Thank you.' he thought.

Storm-Shadow blinked slowly, pushing away a draconic instinct to kill before taking a seat in the chair across from Ethan. He let out a slow breath before speaking again.

"Pleasure to meet you, Ethan." he said. "And I understand your not wanting to mention that company again. I have my share of things I don't want to remember as well." he said.

"Ah, then you must know about the opening we have for a Field Researcher. Or maybe you don't, it opened up not too long ago." he explained. "Either way, if you are interested, I can call my employer and he can speak with you." he offered, though his calm and almost emotionless tone never changed.

Storm-Shadow nodded. "I am glad to hear that." he said, glancing at the clock on his HUD "Unfortunately, Mr. Ereb has usually retired for the night at this time, so he will not be able to meet with you at this time. He is a busy man, though." he said, a tone of respect for the old man entering the voice.

'Paia, get me what info you can on Ethan' he thought. the AI responded.

"However, the next time I meet with him, I shall tell him about you, and we shall see if he wants to come and interview you." he said.

Ethan Anisimov gathered.> Paia buzzed in his head.

He nodded, "He usually does, he does run the company, after all. I wouldn't be able to do it, I'd crack under the stress. And considering my mental stability, that would not be good." he said with a small laugh.

"You are quite welcome." he said. "You are similar to me, in quite a few ways. Well, similar to the old me, anyway." he said with a chuckle. "I think that if you get accepted for the job we could become pals when not on duty. When on duty, I have no emotion...." he explained, his voice seemingly trailing off before he chuckled and cleared his throat.

Storm-Shadow nodded. "Yes, similar to me as in-" he stopped, looking to the door, his HUD Scanning the new arrival, noting any and all weapons and armor and just about everything about them that could be found out.

"Sorry, but I've lost my train of thought. But the point is, you are similar to the old me." he said with a satisfied nod.

"Yes, I'd rather not talk about the old me." he said. He listened as he talked, and chuckled. "And that is how you are similar to me now." he said with another chuckle. He looked at the clock on his HUD and blinked. "Well, I must retire for the night. I will tell Mr. Ereb about you, and hopefully he can find time in his schedule to meet with you soon." he said, not moving. He gave Ethan a final nod, before suddenly vanishing. Seeing they were in a dark part of Gambit's, they were in a shadow, and if they were in a shadow, he could use it.

Storm-Shadow stood just inside the door to the briefing room, and right next to it, his arms crossed as his watchful eyes scanned the room. Almost everyone was highlighted in a gold, indicating that they were VIPs and had to be protected.

As Ethan opened the door, he stood in front of it, facing him, and looking down at him, staring seemingly into his eyes. "We meet again. Are you going to be part of his mission?" he asked, not planning on moving until he got an answer.

Storm-Shadow Nodded, moving aside. "Find a seat, the briefing will start soon." he said. Soon after Ethan would sit down, the lights would go out, and the projector would start it's slideshow, which was added to the voice of the officer in charge of the mission.

"Now, I know some of you are going to be worried about safety on this journey, but do not worry. Mr. Ereb has provided us with one of his Alpha Troopers for protection. I'd like to introduce to you all to Major Storm-Shadow of the Ereb Alpha Troopers." the man said.

Storm-Shadow Emerged from his hiding spot behind the screen and stood in plain view. "He doesn't talk too much, so don't think he's being hostile if he ignores you. It's not easy, doing what he does." the man said.

Compared to Storm-Shadow, the man was quite short, his head only going up to the chest of the armored trooper. After a short moment, the man continued his briefing while Storm-Shadow stepped back into the shadows and vanished from sight.

Soon, the slideshow and commentary ended with "Alright, that's all we have. Now let's get out there and do some research!" which was said in a confident and pumped up voice. The other researchers all started murmuring as they stood and walked to the hangar, where the transports were waiting.

The transports were big, holding about ten people, and two recon vehicles comfortably, and looked like your standard air transport. However, because they were made by Ereb Industries, they were much better than your standard transport.

They loaded the researchers first, all thirty of them, into three separate transports, then loaded the vehicles. Everything else had been prepped beforehand. But, where was Storm-Shadow?

He was hidden within the very shadows, and watching everything as if watching three separate televisions. In his head he went over everything he had learned in the past, and also some things that he was currently working on in private. he said nothing, and did not move.

The transports lifted up and traveled to their destination: A very large and hazardous mountain range somewhere on the planet. There was a pre-built base of operations there, and maybe about twenty armed guards on the base as well, but still no sign of an Ereb Alpha Trooper.
