She blinked a few times, raising her arms up and moving her fingers. <> Her computer on her wrist chirped. <>
Brian James had already fallen asleep where he lay on the ground, and he shifted onto his side as he slept.
Doc looked at her, "You will feel woozy." he told her calmly as he wrapped up his bleeding hand. "Welcome back." he told her as he looked at Shael, "So that is what I do with Necromancy, now you have witnessed it first hand."
<> It was basically a "look up, look down, look left, look right" thing that involved a panel with a red light that would turn green once she looked at it, to calibrate the optical software within her eyes.
Varius sighed at Space, "Reminds me a bit of Kid..." he muttered a bit glad he didn't hear what he had said. "Ah well I ain't repeating that again."
Violet raised her hand up before smiling at Varius...she had heard everything. But it wasn't like she could tell...she could write it down though.
"Eh? Oh..." he looked up at Doc. "So you allow your heart and soul to be slowly eroded away by darkness for the benefit of others?"
Doc nodded, "If it helps people yes, I have many things I need to atone for and if this helps then so be it." he told him calmly. He looked at the panel and at the woman he just saved, "You need help?" he asked her as he pushed his glasses back in place.
Varius looked at the girl, "Don't tell Space okay?" he asked her calmly. "If he needs to hear it I will tell him." he told her as he sighed, "What is your name anyway?" he asked her.
Violet grinned but nodded her head. At the question of her name she quickly wrote down. I am called Violet. And what about you? If it wasn't clear before it would be clear now that she was mute.
Varius nodded at her, "Varius, Varius Dark." he told her, "Least that is what I go by now..." he told her not minding if she was mute.
Doc nodded as he held the panel up in the air for her. "So Shael is my choice of life wrong?" he asked him.
Violet suddenly smiled before looking around and quickly jotting down in small letters, Alias buddy. And we both chose something that started with a V. Pleasure to meet you Varius.
Brian James shifted his body as he slept, so he was more comfortable. He let out a breath, and the air seemed to feel lighter, and would probably make everyone feel a lot better.
Varius nodded, "Yeah well.. I choice Varius cause 'various' to me it means the varying degrees of Darkness in people... yeah sounds stupid I know." he muttered he looked at the sleeping Space. "Space is probably so sound a sleep a fight wouldn't wake him up..."
"Not necessarily..." he began. "You utilize a power that corrupts and erodes. True, the goals are righteous, but the methods will lead to ruin... I have seen it and heard it many times."
Violet body quivered as she chuckled silently before writing down. At least yours had a good reason...mine is because well... She pointed at her purple hair, and shook her head. Yeah...it was an old nickname of mine...and as soon as I moved away I decided to keep it.
Doc helped the woman out. "I utilize what I can... I won't... I won't let it ruin me again..." he muttered to him. "I am not who I was five years ago, and I will never be again." he told him firmly. "I only use it to help people now, not to hurt." he whispered as he looked his age for once.
Varius nodded, "hey old nicknames are good to keep." he told her with a smile. "And purple is a dashing hair color."
"Sorry that was so dull." She got up slowly. "Anyone got some water?" Her mask's HUD updated, though was still a bit fogged.
Violet smiled at him before writing down. I think so too, shame that I have to keep dying mine...I know some people in Wing City have bright hair colors that are out of this world. My hair color is just...black when I don't dye it. She wrote before turning the paper around. It was nice to be able to 'talk to someone without freaking out because of being in a large group.
