Setting
- An actual amusement park complete with roller coasters and a ferris wheel among many other attractions.
- Two sports arenas for such classics as baseball, football, tennis, hockey, basketball, and other such things.
- A theater where one can both watch live musicals played by Pokemon or movies filmed straight from Pokestar Studios for a modest price.
- The local gym, where one can expect to find live music and beautiful women presenting themselves on a catwalk, courtesy of the gym's leader: Elesa. Also the occasional heated pokemon battle~
Teo looked up at the top of the lamppost, "Get down from there, Cinnamon, c'mon. Stop being antisocial."
With a reluctantly baleful glare at the hybrid pokemon, Cinnamon darted back down from the lamppost and bounded onto Teo's shoulders again. He looked back to Alexis.
"The name's Teo, by the way."
Her trainer was not quite so exuberant, but he did offer a smaller grin. "No, not really either of those. I just wanted to say that your Cincinno is well taken care of. I guess I just wanted to say that." After stating the compliment, Alexis flushed slightly and scratched his head.
"Sorry if I was wasting your time there, um... Teo," he said, extending his hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Alexis."
He shook his head, "It defies belief. It's a pleasure, Alexis. Your Mismagius seems cheerful - I have a Mismagius too, as it happens! Sai's a little devil. If I had him with me, I'd introduce them."
Cinnamon in the meantime regarded Alice with interest. "Sup?" he replied, casually adjusting his silky scarf.
Alexis nodded his head in agreement. "Girls can be shallow sometimes, it's true. But I'm glad to talk to you, and I'm sure Alice here would love to meet another Mismagius. They're not exactly the most common thing here." The implication that always seemed creep up on him seemed to hit again. "Er, also...I'm not a girl."
Alice bounced in place, tilting her head towards the scarf. "Your scarf is really pretty! And I think it's really cool that you're popular!" She bubbled with excitement.
a tremendous view, starting to appear as it rose; of the entire city and glistening ocean, it truly was spectacular and truly a sight to behold, for now though Elsie main focus was Ilene.
He laughed, "Cinnamon here gets that problem all the time. Poor guy."
Cinnamon nodded his head. "Sure, I'm popular, but everyone's always like 'ooooh, look at the cute Cinccino, awww, it's adorable!'" he said, eyes rolling and derision dripping from his tone. "I slapped an Excadrill so hard it fainted! I'm not just a cuddly toy!"
He glanced over to the Cinccino. "Well, he's definitely cute enough." The trainer put up his hands quickly. "But he's definitely very manly."
Alice tilted her head, staring curiously at Cinnamon. "But you are a cuddly toy, right? Just one that can actually fight?"
Teo shrugged, "It's nice to go into a bar and not be recognised, so you know that people aren't just interested in you because you were on TV or a poster."
Cinnamon folded his arms, "I'm a fighter who happens to be cuddly, not the other way around!" he insisted, shooting Alexis a wary glare as he hastily corrected himself.
"Actually, from what I remember, you're underage, right? Do those guys just let you in because you're pretty?" Alexis asked wryly, grinning.
Alice bobbed up and down, bursting with energy again. "So you admit you're cuddly! Eeek! If I had arms, I'd hug you!"
As scheduled the Ferris Wheel would stop with them at the top, giving them time to just stare in wonder, at the beautiful vista and city-scape before them, the sea washing over the sand in a provocative fashion, while the sun's rays danced over the promenade in sensual and alluring fashion, it was a scene of utter bliss.
He smirked, shrugging, "And sure, it gets me drinks, but most people are only interested in the pretty face. First world attractive person problems, right? I must sound like a right douche."
Cinnamon stuck his tongue out at Alice. "That's not what I meant!" he complained.
"Actually, you only sound like a left douche." Alexis winced as he said it, shaking his head. "Yeah, that was bad. I'll take the fall on that one. And besides, free drinks are free drinks. Actually, I'm just realizing that the same thing happens to me."
"Cuddly, cuddly, cuddly." Alice sang, laughing at Cinnamon.
