Titania Brightsmith wasn't worried. She had a plan to wear down this would-be wall.
Bronzong, use Toxic.
Milotic dodged the Toxic. Her next move had her use Scald as she dumped boiling hot water on Bronzong.
Titania Brightsmith stepped back as the room filled with steam from the Scald attack. Like she thought, Bronzong was the best at taking this sort of punishment, even looking like it could survive another hot shower. Another Toxic ensued. That veil of water had to be counteracted somehow.
Titania Brightsmith knew that this was the best time to start adding injury to the insult of such a debilitating status, and opted to switch to Lucario on this turn. Turn 4, the pain would be dished in the form of Close Combat.
Titania Brightsmith wasn't too surprised when Lucario proved less than able to crack those defenses. A minor annoyance, but now her back was to the wall. Only one other Pokemon had the ability to outspeed Milotic.
Not too much damage, but flinching would be useful to let the poison build up.Go, Durant! Use Iron Head!
Titania Brightsmith growled...her luck couldn't run out here! There was far too much at stake after Durant went down!
What she really needed was fodder to stall out the Rain Dance while Bronzong came back to full health. The Magnezone was just there to give Milotic something to think about.Go, Magnezone!
Titania Brightsmith healed up Bronzong, then pulled Magnezone out for the iron bell anticipating another Scald.
Titania Brightsmith couldn't believe this.
Seriously? Back to square one? At least rain's not falling on my head anymore. Bronzong, use Toxic again!
Milotic started more Rain before she was poisoned again.
she asked as she then launched a Scald at Bronzong.Why do you insist on repeating something that didn't work already?
Titania Brightsmith grimaced as the steam cloud obscured her vision...Bronzong would be okay, but the rain made the downpour more severe. It was barely standing, and this time fired off Signal Beam to try to confuse Milotic a bit as well.
Titania Brightsmith shrugged and returned Bronzong. She just had to time it right to wait out the rain...but her options were running out.
Come on, Skarmory, we can't quit now!
Milotic started her turn of attack by dumping a Scald on Skarmory, the boiling water itching to cause a burn.
Titania Brightsmith was quite prepared for this eventuality. Not only would his Sturdy ensure survival despite the boosted power, but Toxic would also start working in her favor now. "Skarmory, use Roost!" It rested its body on the floor to regain some of the health it had lost as the rain continued to pour down in sheets, though the burn wasn't going away.
Milotic refreshed herself with a green glow surrounding her this time as she tried to read what Skarmory would do next.
Titania Brightsmith could tell that now was her chance. Milotic wasn't attacking and the rain would give out soon.
Return, Skarmory! It's your show, Magnezone!
Milotic would wait for Magnezone to attack this time, oddly enough, although she seemed to be concentrating?
Titania Brightsmith wasn't sure what was happening here, but she didn't like it.
Boosted by the might of Life Orb, the electricity streamed forth and lit up Milotic quite a bit.Hurry up, Magnezone, use Thunderbolt!
