"She abandoned all of her pokemon and had a complete breakdown. About uh..." How long had he been traveling? Probably too long... "Look she's just in trouble okay? She needs someone to make sure she doesn' do somethin' stupid. And I can't do that. I'm jus' a pokemon."
"Oookay Cinnamon, lay off a bit buddy" Teo interrupted the Cinccino's angry squeaking, not understanding a word but clearly picking up on the aggravated tone. "You'll have to forgive him, we've been stuck out here for a few days so we're both a little on edge."
The trainer reached over to pat the furry pokemon gently, "As for your problem..." Teo glanced away for a moment with a hesitant sigh. "Well, look. Sinnoh is a long way away... Not that I would mind getting away from here where everyone recognises me for a bit... Hmm..."
Teo paused in thought, mulling over the decision. "Who is this girl, anyway? What happened to her?"
His shoulder slumped slightly and he tugged the brim of his hat down. "Ain't got nothin' more to say. Either you'll help me or I'll have to find some other folks. If'n you're not sick of bein' my translator," he added, turning his head to Lateo.
Lateo then looked down at Verse, "I do not mind helping a friend in need. I will stand by you for as long as you need me."
On the other hand, he was lost in the middle of nowhere without anything to eat or drink on him. So, maybe declining and being left behind was a bad plan. He needed to remember to bring Tali with him when he travelled, just in case. Or indeed, as the method of transport to begin with.
"I... alright, I'll help. On the condition that you give me a lift out of this Arceus-forsaken jungle." he replied.
Cinnamon gave him a glare, but after a moment huffed and shrugged his shoulders moodily. "Just don't call me a lady next time, dirt-for-brains." he snipped, scampering deftly back onto Teo's shoulder.
Heck, did he even eat?
To think, a few hours before Lateo was an unconscious hulk of Clay Armor in the desert. The Golurk enjoyed making new friends. It was much better than having to walk to a crumbling tower.
This was a problem because he had places he needed to be! Like home for dinner! He let out an sigh, which caused the sunglasses to tumble from his beak, followed by a sharp squeak of surprise before he doubled over and scooped the frame back into his mouth to carry.
Drymn, The Zangoose of Ryoko's Partner Kimi Came padding out of the bushes and looked at Esper with a disappointed look.

"Stay way!" he shouted defiantly, wings out to the side and looking ready to defend himself.
She growled as she saw the bird's wings to the side "You wanna take me on? You do know who my trainer is right?" she said with a scoff. "I've taken on Empoleons ten times your size, do you really think you stand a chance against me?" she said crouching down slightly as the symbols began to flash.
Drymn folded his claws over his chest, he knew what Esper was like when she got in the mood for a battle, he had been her double battle partner long enough to know. He looked over towards Sunny and narrowed his eyes. "Let's see what he's made of" The Zangoose mumbled to himself
Secretly he had actually prepared a bubble attack, ready to strike whenever he felt ready, but he wasn't actually sure he could win. He sort of wanted to run away. He wished Adam was here...
Drymn simply stood there to watch the events unfold, however he couldn't help but to feel that Esper was being nothing but a bully. If she grew too out of hand he would step in and stop her. However Drymn also believed that battle was necessary in every pokemon's life and that it was sunny's battle and shouldn't interfere unless absolutely necessary.
He wasn't done there, charging in straight after he finished firing!
, the yellow markings on her fur glowing bright causing a trail that made a golden circle around Sunny.
Drymn narrowed his eyes as he watched his comrade, She was really willing to got this far? Maybe she was itching for an excuse to fight, after all it had been sometime since her last battle. "It's not a question of how bad he's going to lose, but more a question if we can get there in time before she kills him" He said to Blain
