Setting
Unova is divided by two rivers that lead into an ocean to the south of it. These rivers cannot be surfed on, with the exception of the river directly below Village Bridge. It divides Unova into central and eastern peninsulas and a western landmass. These three landmasses are connected by five bridges, the Skyarrow Bridge, the Driftveil Drawbridge, the Tubeline Bridge, Marvelous Bridge, and the Village Bridge. The eastern part of Unova is further divided by mountains that makes a southeast part and northeast part. The southeastern part is important to Trainers who want to compete in the Pokémon league since two Gyms are located there, but the northeastern part is not since there are no Gyms there and it mostly has tourism, as evidenced by the amount of people speaking foreign languages. Further away from this bundle of towns is where the Pokémon League is located. Interestingly, the northeastern part is the only place in the region to find Pokémon species foreign to Unova outside of Swarms. The central peninsula of Unova consists of the two largest cities in the Pokémon world, Castelia City and Nimbasa City, as well as Opelucid City further north, all of which contain Gyms. Every bridge in Unova connects to the central part of the region from either the east or west. The western side contains medium sized towns and more varied landscapes but it also has three Gyms there, making it another destination to visit for any Pokémon Trainer.
Unova is a mixture of urban and rural land. The region features fifteen settlements which reflect the diversity of the region.

Verse leant forward at the comments of Cinnamon, tipping the brim of his hat up. "Hullo there little lady, didn't see you there. The matter don't matter to you folks, I'm just trying to ask you nicely." He paused and thought for a moment. "Asking your trainer, nicely." His attention turned back to Lateo for a moment as he thought.
"She abandoned all of her pokemon and had a complete breakdown. About uh..." How long had he been traveling? Probably too long... "Look she's just in trouble okay? She needs someone to make sure she doesn' do somethin' stupid. And I can't do that. I'm jus' a pokemon."

Lateo seemed very distant, more machine than pokemon at the moment. He was in deep thought. He heard verse and idly translated for him. "Verse says that his trainer is going through a breakdown of some kind and she is abandoning all of her pokemon," The Golurk's voice went from warm to cryptic as he talked, "He needs someone to look after her because he can't do it for he is just a pokemon. Also, your Cinccino is quite rude." This seemed like a just observation to Lateo. Verse was just making an idle observation and the small pokemon just flew off the handle.
Cinnamon huffed in distaste at Verse, "Who're you calling lady, you spike-brained magikarp bait?!" he exclaimed irritably, scowling furiously in the direction of both him and Lateo. "Maybe if you had a spine other than the pricks sticking out of your back you'd be able to solve your own p-"

"Oookay Cinnamon, lay off a bit buddy" Teo interrupted the Cinccino's angry squeaking, not understanding a word but clearly picking up on the aggravated tone. "You'll have to forgive him, we've been stuck out here for a few days so we're both a little on edge."

Usually happens after she loses a match and normally she gets better, but this time it just sort of happened. And it got worse and worse and... Shoot now I'm worried 'bout her. I mean, tryin' not to take it personally, but would you ever abandon your pokemon?"
His shoulder slumped slightly and he tugged the brim of his hat down. "Ain't got nothin' more to say. Either you'll help me or I'll have to find some other folks. If'n you're not sick of bein' my translator," he added, turning his head to Lateo.

Lateo snapped back into reality and began actively finding the words needed to communicate to Teo, "Verse says that his trainer fell into a sadness one day. It usually happens to her after a loss, but she snaps out of it. This time the sadness just happened and it got worse and worse. Verse is worried about her, he wonders if you would ever abandon your pokemon. He has nothing else to say and if you won't help him he and I will have to find some other people."
Lateo then looked down at Verse, "I do not mind helping a friend in need. I will stand by you for as long as you need me."

"Eeeeh..." Teo ran a hand through his hair awkwardly. On the one hand, this sounded remarkably like a teenage girl having a strop and making poor decisions as a result of it.
On the other hand, he was lost in the middle of nowhere without anything to eat or drink on him. So, maybe declining and being left behind was a bad plan. He needed to remember to bring Tali with him when he travelled, just in case. Or indeed, as the method of transport to begin with.

It had been nothing but asking for help from Verse, not offering anything in return. Maybe he'd steal him a cake.

Lateo looked through his memory in order to find a way to reset his internal compas away from Dragonspiral Tower to the forest. Suddenly it clicked in him. He was now directed to Eterna Forest. "I can bring you to the forest whenever you are ready," Lateo communicated to Teo. Lateo folded his legs into his chest and offered his huge hands to Verse, Teo, and Cinnamon. He would fly slowly so as to not lose his companions.

Sunny was not lost, really! He was just wandering around, with his titular namesake held in his beak; a pair of sunglasses. He peered left and right trying to find something, anything, that looked familiar. But when you were as little as he was it was really hard to see anything, and so the small water bird was just lost.
This was a problem because he had places he needed to be! Like home for dinner! He let out an sigh, which caused the sunglasses to tumble from his beak, followed by a sharp squeak of surprise before he doubled over and scooped the frame back into his mouth to carry.

Esper, The Umbreon of the famous elite trainer Ryoko Mishima (Her trainer's own words spoken many times), dashed at full speed through the brush. On her back was a medical satchel she was entrusted to deliver to a field research team that was somewhere in the wilderness around her current area. She was so proud to do this mission for her trainer, there was a reason she was picked over all the other pokemon, She was the best. She began to day dream about the praise she would get from Ryoko when she returned successful in her mission, she closed her eyes and cried happily as she dashed............Straight into Sunny without paying any attention. The resulting crash sendt the Medical back flying and Esper Tumbling.

Luna, the Shiny Gardevior casually walks through the forest, lost deep in her thoughts. [Hmm...It's been so long since i've been on my own. Something about the air doesn't feel right...I sense a hostile presence nearby.] she ponders, glancing around cautiously.
Blain watched from a tall branch at the scene that unfolded between Esper and Sunny, giggling to herself. Sniffing the air, she caught a wif of something sweet. Gardevoir, she thought. She jumped down from the branch gracefully and looked around, catching a hint of Blue and White flashing through the trees.
Sunny was just minding his own business when some sort of... Wild monster tackled him! The impact caused the pokemon to cry out and tumble backwards head over heels, losing sight of the sunglasses which slid off to the base of a tree. With a shake of his head, he rose up, looking around to see who was responsible and only finding an Espeon and Zangoose. Well it must have been them then!
"Stay way!" he shouted defiantly, wings out to the side and looking ready to defend himself.

Esper stood on her feet and shook herself off. The yellow markings on her jet black fur lighting up as she looked towards Sunny "You had better have a good reason for slamming into me Pip-squeak!" She barked stepping forward, her ears flicking in frustration.
She growled as she saw the bird's wings to the side "You wanna take me on? You do know who my trainer is right?" she said with a scoff. "I've taken on Empoleons ten times your size, do you really think you stand a chance against me?" she said crouching down slightly as the symbols began to flash.

"Besides, it's funny watching Piplup's get their feathers ruffled. C'mon, lets watch." She pulled Luna by her arm and led her to the group, smiling reassuringly.

Esper chuckled "Don't blink squirt" she said and began to run forward as the patterns on her fur faded, and so did she as she neared Sunny. Her pursuit attack made her vanish from sight about ten feet from Sunny. She would take advantage of the momentary shroud to dash around the back of the Piplup before fading back into sight as she dashed in with a headbutt to Sunny's back.

Blain let go of the Gardevoir's hand, and jumped over to the battle. She stood next to Drymn and nodded towards the other two "How bad do you think the Piplup is going to lose?" She chuckled, half contemplation helping him. The poor thing was picking a fight he wouldn't likely win.
The blow had enough force to knock Sunny almost flying forwards, barely having any weight on his body to begin with, but no sooner had he hit the ground did he recover, scrambling to his feet and spinning on the spot to unleash a barrage of ultimately weak bubbles from his mouth, launching towards Esper with all the ferocity he could manage.

Luna just stayed hidden. Not that she was a coward or anything! She just isn't one to jump into the battlefield so suddenly. She watched the battle rage on behind a tree, holding her Mega Stone necklace so the rattling wouldn't give her away.
Esper saw the bubble's and gasped, the fact he had enough time to counter attack and the bubbles were coming straight at her with decent speed. She would have to dodg- pat, pat, pat. The bubbles popped off of Esper's face and dampened her fur. There was some power behind the bubbles, but Esper was a seasoned battler who had fought a variety of different pokemon during The time her trainer was a member of the Elite 4. She looked shocked for a moment then shook her head and jumped back as he charged in "Don't mess with me kid!" she barked and crouched for a moment then dashed to the side and began to streak in a circle around the now battlefield. She would pick up speed with every lap she completed. Her Agility made her all but a blur to the inexperienced eye. Every lap would also get progressively tighter to Sunny's position

Luna's eyes grew wide with fear upon hearing that dreaded word: Kill. Of course like all Gardevior, she wouldn't just sit around and let an innocent human being just die. She was also reminded of how she first met her trainer; Nicole. If it wasn't for Luna's quick thinking and instincts, Nicole wouldn't be here right now. She brought herself back and decided to listen in on the conversation, letting her necklace go limp and rattle. Someone's life is more important than being found out.
Sunny was still in full combat mode, for a moment lost at what to do with the darting foe surrounding him, but Adam had taught him better than that. He bent his head forwards, aiming between his own legs and unleashed a torrent of water, having it spray and gush around him until it formed a full-fledged whirlpool of swirling and churning liquid, with him right at the center! Over the sound of the gurgling waters he couldn't hear Blain's question.
