Nova's Story

Leonn turned her head quickly towards the howl and knew that it was either food or someone hurt. She started jogging towards it because it didn't sound quite like someone hurt. When she was there, she saw shadow and another wolf, staring at each other. She wasn't sure if she should be threatened or thrilled by this newcomer so she put herself in a defensive position in front of shadow with her head, body and tail low, showing a glimpse of her white teeth and pulling her ears back. She was glad to see shadow with a kill, his or not. But there was no time for celebrating, she had to find out what this stranger wanted. "Shadow, who is this?" She whispered without moving a muscle.

((OOC: Sorry that i didn't post these two last days, i was on a competition and had no computer. PS: I won :3))

"I d-d-d-don't know." Shadow said, cowering in one of his trenches behind the deer. If it wasn't for the fact that Shadows trenches did not cover his sides, he would have looked like a pile of snow. His legs were bent in a position that suggested that Shadow was liable to run away at any moment and in any direction. Also, the spot where Shadow had been standing was obvious by the yellow snow in trench near the front of the deer.

Leonn heard Elliot and Phelix coming towards them happily. But she couldn't greet the just yet. Right now she had to find out what this new wolf wanted. "Who are you? What do you want? Who do you belong to?" With every question, she took one more step towards the wolf. She continued throwing questions at the stranger until she was so close that she could feel the fiends rapid breathing on her face. She was ready for any attack that might hit her. She went through all the possibilities to make sure that the wolf was trapped. But she was not sure if she was mentally ready for a fight. She was not used to fighting other wolves. Her former pack was good at reasoning with others and they rarely got into a fight. But for her pack, she was ready to let go of her fears and show that she was their strong leader. But she also needed her pack to show her that they are a strong and loyal pack.

Phelix and Elliott finally get in range to see the two wolfs Face two Face and smelt Shadow off towards the tracks that whent in a rapid circle. " Elliott im going to go see whats going on over there I know you can see them so just go behind that rock over there " Phelix said confidently as he gestured to a rock just to the right of what smelt like Shadow but it was big and blocking wind. "There's someone ells over there but just avoid anymore conflict than you need to...Ill just be over there with Leonn and this other wolf...Stay safe. " Were Phelix's last words as he Charged over to where Leonn stood face to face with this other wolf.
Phelix Instinctively jumped into a Agile attack ready Position Facing Nova Growling softly blending with the blizzard and snow , The only thing that was giving Phelix away were the brief shivers that came and passed like the wind.

Elliott walked up to Nova. " Hello, what's your name?" Asked Elliott." I wont hurt you, unless you hurt me." He shivered. " I got my pack close by." Elliott sniffed Nova the way dogs greet each other.

Shadow could be smelt around Leonn and the other wolves, obviously avoiding being seen by the full sized wolf who everyone seemed to trust. He was not trusting this new full sized wolf. Shadow tried to think if any packs that were tundra wolves near by. Shadow had not paid attention until now, seeing as the tundra wolves with packs tend to stay up north. 'This is timber wolf pack area territory. What is this tundra wolf doing here?' Shadow thought to himself, following his pack with his keen nose and ears.

Phelix walked around the corner and sat down in what might make a circle if there where more wolfs here. " I'm Phelix " I said jittering a little but pleasantly and what looked to be a tail thrashing back around with the wind and my Excitement to see a new wolf. " I wonder what this new wolfs personality is going to be like ." Phelix Wondered in his head siting down with his back straight.

After Leonn's howl to call the pack, Shadow moved through the snow, still leaving a small distance between him and the new wolf. The only note of the small wolf's movement around to the rest of the pack was his occasional sniffing the air, and the small indents in the snow along his path. Shadow continued to make his circles waiting for Elliot to sit down so that Shadow could hide behind Elliot.

Shadow followed in behind Leonn, while still maintaining a small distance from the wolf who called herself Nova. When Shadow looked at the elk, he looked for a mid-sized child. All it would take to bring down the younger elk would be a single, swift strike to the neck. However, Shadow could see that Leonn was looking at one of the bigger elk. To Shadow, this was a nerve racking idea that they would be able to take on a large elk.

Shadow finally showed himself around Nova. His head was low, with his tail lower, and his back arched downward. In the nervous tone Shadow said "I would be more comfortable going after one of the smaller elk." Though Shadow was talking and looking at Leon, it looked as if he was nervously watching Nova.

OOC: I have no clue where Seffi is.

Shadow slowly backed away from Nova. He was obviously nervous around her. Leonn had not told him if she was on his side or not, and without direct announcement, Shadow was at least worried about Nova. Plus he had not yet had time to get used to having this many full sized wolves around, or to the personal presence of Nova. Shadow did use his winter coat to his advantage. After a few more steps back, it would take even the best trained eye a small while to find the little wolf in the deep snow.
