Physical Description
Ruzik is a tall young lad who carries a trim and rather athletic build that although seemingly active he does not animate himself much, unless it is for something good and extremely rewarding. His hair is short and stylish, baring a rather bright shade of red. His eyes however are rather unique in appearance, being of a light yellow-green mix that he has had since birth. Additionally, he has oddly shaped teeth that have been best described as similar to 'shark teeth'. Most of the time he dresses quite fashionably and smartly, always with glasses, and a times he can come across as slightly feminine. He puts effort into his appearance and likes to impress others.

"Yes, yes. The teeth are real, and yes, they will bite you - and it will hurt. Ok?"

Abilties | Powers
Heart’s Desire | Ruzik has the power to grant whatever 'the heart wants'. This ability is limitless in itself as he can summon forth just about anything within reason – meaning he isn’t going to suddenly summon a whole city right before you, but objects, weapons, information and status effects are all considered reasonable. He is limited to only granting three requests at a time and must allow adequate recovery time in between. Should someone persist in pressuring the demon into granting more requests then there will be notable side-effects as his mind becomes ‘overloaded’. This is affective with both mages and demon and he can use it on himself too!

"What the heart wants, it gets. At least if your nice to me of course ~"
Heightened physicality | Ruzik has advanced speed and strength. He in turn does not feel pain as instantly as others would do when injured and thus he can take on more damage and last longer in fights. The down side to this though, is that eventually the pain does catch up to his senses and hurts twice as bad long after the encounter. Although should an attack prove fatal then he would actually die upon getting hit.
"Sometimes I forget, and only after the fight does it hit me - hard."
Heart Chat | Ruzik has the ability to control a person’s heart and alter their actions and thoughts. This ability stems from his natural gift to sense out hearts, which also allows the demon to ‘hear’ hearts – as if they talk only to him. Through this he is able to ‘whisper’ ideas of what the victim should do, rather than what they were going to do, and thereby altering their thought process. This power lasts for only so long, and it helps if a person is weakened whilst attempting this as it makes the target more vulnerable and persuasive. This ability is affective against mages and demons - though is stronger against demons.
"Quite nifty, eh? If I do say so myself."

"I prefer him to the other teachers, he's kinda cool. But I'm wary to trust him yet - I'll bite him again if he tries anything sly."

"I don't understand her grudge against me, it's baseless. I've not even laid a finger on her body, unfortunately. But I will ~"

History
Ruzik doesn't enjoy lingering on the past, and yet to know his tale that is where you'd have to begin. If you did, then you would learn the story of Ruzik, the demon that stole hearts and left broken humans in his wake. A demon that could rip hearts apart, abandoned and truly broken into pieces. That demon was called Ruzik, the accidentally conceived child of an Incubus and a Succubus, who had both mistaken one other for a human one night as they ventured through a lone human town - a night which would eventually lead to the birth of Ruzik. His existence was by mere accident and chance of opportunity, and not long after entering the world his parents left him shortly after and never spoke to the boy ever again.

As a child he was left to wander the world, born with an unsatisfiable lust for hearts and to consume them greedily. Though as a child, and unable to acquire hearts, he was very near the end of his life as it came to be apparent that he needed hearts to survive – simply, he fed off them. Unlike his parents who had always lusted for the affections of the heart, he merely lusted for the heart itself. During his youth he was found by a mage and taken in by the old man, who in time supplied the demon with animal hearts to fend off his hunger. Over the course of the time he lived with the mage Ruzik learned many things about humans; how they dressed, spoke and adapted to many of their ways of living for the sake of keeping a low profile. But this way of life didn’t last long.

Ruzik began acting up, protesting, and sneaking out at night to stalk humans whose hearts he sensed nearby. As he grew older his urge for hearts developed increasingly, to the point that it was only inevitable that he made his first killing. Enraged, the mage threw Ruzik out and abandoned the demon, having nothing else to do with the boy ever again. This action alone would soon lead to the slaughtering of many humans in the maddening endless search that Ruzik would go on for the ‘perfect heart’. He would kill many, consuming their hearts and yet never feeling satisfied.

In time it was only expected that he would turn into his parents, though only with a murderous twist. He would entice people in, rob them of their hearts and then dump them to the side. It was a savage hunger that controlled him, one that would lead him to further trouble, along the lines of The Survival Kit Academy. One night whilst trying to jump a group of mages Ruzik was unaware that it was a trap to capture him, and blindly he walked right into it, and was immediately sent to the academy. That is where the demon finds himself now. But what will he do now that he is surrounded by hearts, mages and demons?

"Well who needs parents and mages anyway I guess."

Other
~ Heart Snatcher ~
Though as a child Ruzik needed hearts to survive, now that he is older, the demon has learned to survive longer whilst consuming fewer hearts and by experimenting through other methods to control his hunger. Especially as he is now at the academy and must find various ways to feed his urge without causing harm to others.

"Apparently because it would cause harm to the student body and I must not endanger anyone."

So begins...

Memphis

Image

Memphis listened to the girl and held his silence for the duration as she spoke, figuring that was the better approach as he thought over his words in the meantime. Although, the other teacher had spoke up also, peaking the man’s interest a little. A moment later though he refocused on the young mage. "Hating a demon for what they are, without even knowing them, is a bit harsh do you not think? I realize this whole issue with your
mother, and all that followed must have been painful, but you must understand that Ruzik played no hand in those events so he is perfectly innocent." He spoke up softly, gradually easing his point across without hopefully setting the girl off. "It’s unfortunately that you happen to be placed in an environment where one of those demons happens to also be put within, but that doesn’t give you the right to single-handedly try to eliminate either him, or his kind."

Memphis narrowed his eyes just a little, showing that he was serious with his words, though the man could also perfectly understood her reasons – but given his position it wasn’t an option to allow the mage to go off on her revenge-hunt, and so it simply would not be happening whilst under his academy roof. "You are forbidden from killing him, or any student. Be it here or elsewhere off these grounds, I will not stand by and idly watch you take-out my students, is that understood? Revenge is one thing, reasons for it are another, that you have yet to clearly grasp." Of course, after listening to this girl Memphis knew she would not willingly accept this, would she? He couldn’t afford for another incident to happen, especially if it was a fatal one. "Just to make myself clear, should you take further action against Ruzik then I will be forced to take my own action. Meaning, as she is your supervising teacher, Miss Rayne will suffer as consequence to your foolish choices. Now, understand me?"

Giving little away the demon rose to his feet and rested his hands against the table, his stare directed down at the young mage before him, as he studied her briefly for a moment to see her response. "If it is of any interest to you, Ruzik will remain powerless indefinitely until he has proved himself to us. So, I don’t imagine he will be any threat now, does that help? I mean, feel free to keep an eye on him if you must but should he do anything that is otherwise not-good, then tell a teacher – do not act upon it yourself, is that clear?"

Raising a brow, the redhead leaned off the table and stood upright. He briefly gave the older woman a glance, and then turned back to the girl. "Your punishment will be this – your powers will remain sealed for the remainder of the day, which isn't that long, right? And then you will have to apologize to Ruzik for what you did to him. You must accept that he is nothing to do with your mother, you cannot force your hatred onto him just because he is of the same species. I won’t tolerate that. Now, are we in an understanding, Lilliane?"

Ruzik remained by Kou’s side, eventually managing to sit himself down again as he got control of himself once more. Surprisingly though, his hand never left hers, and for once he was calm. There wasn’t anything to irk him, nothing to distract him and urge him on, and perhaps he even enjoyed it a bit. Though if only Kou was not in the state she was, it might have been just a bit better. But still, he’d savor it in some odd way, he supposed. Of course, once his mind had stopped tempting the incubus to pounce on the girl, that was.

The demon had decided that he would not follow his temptations so blindly, Kou was injured and needed rest, and what she certainly didn’t need was him getting his way again. Not like this at least. So no, he would not indulge himself but rather distract his thoughts and try to keep himself in line. ”Can’t believe you girls bet me, seriously. I guess I should be lucky that mage-girl let me live, I think. Not that she wanted to.” The redhead sighed a little, quietly, whilst thinking of the moment. Ruzik couldn’t quit remember everything exactly as he had lost consciousness part-way through, embarrassingly. ”But still, a win is a win I guess, I’ll just have to try harder next time.”

Resting his head down against her hand the redhead closed his eyes for a few minutes, taking a chance to get a brief moment of rest himself since he’d been staggering all over the place since waking up – not to mention getting his tongue bit! Shrugging off the pain, the incubus exhaled a tired breath. He really needed to not be so reckless in the future. He concluded, narrowing his gaze a little. Just then, sitting up promptly the demon had a thought and quickly got to his feet. Rummaging around the small cupboard next to the bed the redhead picked something up, carrying it out before throwing it over the rabbit-demon. It was a small blanket, since there’s usually always one kicking about somewhere, and Ruzik realized the girl looked a bit cold since she lacked proper clothing – so he figured he’d do something nice for a chance.

”I hope that keeps you warm. Maybe not as much as I would’ve kept you warm, but I guess
this is better, for now.” He assured her, though perhaps he was trying to reassure himself more, and his shameless needs. Forcing himself back down the demon kept a constant vigil over the girl as she rested, like a faithful guard dog he was, he’d never let anyone harm her again. Not on his watch. But, he’d best not make it obvious and give the girl a reason to worry, not that she needed anymore with him!

Cleo Gardenia

Cleo just laughed at Bugby in a teasing manner before pushing herself off the bed. ”Sure, whatever you say Buggie.” She purred, though not long after another boy approached them, an unfamiliar one, though she could have sworn she had in fact seen him somewhere. Thankfully, the boy recognized them and mentioned that he was from their class, so at least that was something!

He looked a state however, and quickly Cleo grabbed the boy and plopped him onto the bed that Ichiro was on. ”What happened to you?” The feline asked, knowing Muse was going to fetch the nurse. Tilting her head just a little the girl examined his face a little, resting her hands to her hips. ”Did something bite you? That looks nasty, sort of.” Taking a step back Cleo looked the young boy over, noticing the blood stains covering him, and she couldn’t help but wonder what the hell had happened to the poor boy. ”Well, you’re safe now kid. I’m Cleo, and these guys are my friends so you’re welcome to stay here with us for a bit, ‘till you get seen to.”

Giving the boy a smile the feline purred a little, watching the youth briefly before wondering, ”Say, are you a mage? I know you said you’re new here, but you remind me of Ichiro a little so I figured it must be a mage thing, after all you don’t look like a demon.” The girl laughed a little before looking away momentarily, seeing if Muse had found the nurse yet, or not.

Kou stirred when the blanket was placed on top of her, it was so much warmer on the bed now with the covering that staying asleep was easy but Kou wanted to wake up. In her dream she continued to press towards the tiny amount of light that had slipped into the dark space of her drug induced sleep. Kou was ready to get up, she wanted to comfort Ruzik and tell him it was going to be alright even if she wasn't certain of the future. She didn't know about his abilities being sealed as that had happened after she had already been knocked out.

Finally Kou reached the light and a smile adorned her sleeping face as she slowly moved around in bed, rising at last. The rabbit turned her head, her eyes lazing over to see a certain red head sitting beside her. A genuine smile adorned her face as she reached over to touch whatever part of him she could reach, which happened to be the Incubus's knee. "So the girls won huh?" She had heard him utter the fact that he was mad about it. Although Ruzik had given it his all, it was three against one and his chances of winning had not been good from the start. Still it was nice to see him put so much effort into the game; or maybe he just didn't want to lose to a bunch of women? "Are you in pain? Why would someone try to kill you?" The rabbit asked with a worried expression and struggled to sit up

As soon as she had gotten into an upright position she fell back down, the sound of her bones crackling as she moved around filling the mostly silent air. At least this part of the infirmary was quiet whereas the other side was full of loud and anxious students waiting to get checked and healed by the nurse. Kou could only sit up for a few seconds before her body demanded that she lay back down and so the student sunk back against the mattress, waincing as she went down. "So how do you think the other groups did?" Kou asked, figuring the demon in Group 1, Bugby, probably won. He was strong and could mimic any ability which would be a great secret weapon in the future when they got to do real battles against actual threats.

Kou noticed something off about Ruzik; it was as if he was trying to repress something and so she scooted over a bit in bed, "Come lay beside me." Kou smiled and patted the spot on the mattress. It would be warmer with him and Kou loved the heat most beings gave off. It was a survival instinct of rabbits to get close to things that radiated heat.

Muse brought Nurse Julie back over, who took one look at the boy and gasped. She ran to go grab her first aid tools and rushed to the young mage's side. Muse stood by the curtain, however she leaned in a bit to further inspect the wound; it was nasty looking.... Blood ran down his cheek and stained his shirt, caking around where his neck and collar met. Muse watched with interest as Nurse Julie buzzed around the boy like a busy bee, cleaning the wound as much as she could with a simple soap and water solution. "This is going to hurt, here bite down on this." The woman said and handed Laurence a towel to put into his mouth. Nurse Julie then hovered her hands over the wound and said something, a seal made of light appearing and four arrows shooting outwards before a gentle yellow glow emitted from her fingertips that she then pressed against the wound.

Muse did not want to break Nurse Julie's focus and so she stood back, simply watching in awe as the woman performed her work. Healing truly was an amazing talent and Muse wished she could do something so beautiful. As far as she knew all she had was a vague sense of causing people pain and mass destruction. Not that she minded of course, Muse had been told that killing was what she did best. So why change? But what if that was the whole reason she had been sent here? So that they could change her? She felt like she was going through an identity crisis. Muse stepped back, she was already standing in the corner; out of everyone's way so she did not fear bumping into someone.

She leaned against the wall and slid so that she was sitting on the floor then the demon brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them tight against her body as a panic attack began to take over. Her horns scraped against the wall and she flinched at the ugly sound; hoping they were all too distracted by Julie and her magical healing to notice Muse in the corner. Could demons have panic attacks? Or maybe this was an actual identity crisis? Muse's breathing came out in quick, short breaths and her entire being trembled; maybe it was anxiety?

As Liliane listened to the Headmaster's words she could feel her body temperature rising. She knew this reaction was only produced by either love or anger. She was sure her emotions were tied to anger. She was being told that Succubi's kind were innocent. That Ruzik had nothing to do with her mother's death. That was a point that couldn't be argued over. There was insufficient evidence to know whether Ruzik was guilty of the death of Lili's mother.

Then the Headmaster seemed to make a kind of indirect threat to Ms. Rayne. Even she looked at Memphis with widened eyes. Did he know that Liliane held a kind of fondness for the teacher? Liliane curled her hand into fist. How dare he use someone else as a means to punish her? This was no different than what happened to her mother. Lili's mother died so that the girl could live.

And then the man placed the final nail on the coffin. He ordered Liliane to apologize to the Incubus.

"You must accept that he is nothing to do with your mother, you cannot force your hatred onto him just because he is of the same species. I won’t tolerate that. Now, are we in an understanding, Lilliane?" Lili sat in silence. She wish she didn't leave her mother's mask in the other class. It was the only thing that suppressed her emotions immediately.

Sarah walked up and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay, Liliane. Just think things through one step at a time. In situations like these looking at the full picture can, probably, be too much. For now just try remembering that Ruzik, most likely, had nothing to do with anything that happened to you. He's just another student here at the academy. You may have had a disagreement but you bested him. He is no threat to you."

To Lili's surprise she could feel herself getting calmer. She closed her eyes briefly to clear her head before looking at the Headmaster.

"I understand. I am sorry for any inconvenience that I have brought you or any of the staff. If it is alright I would like to go on ahead and give my apologies to Ruzik." Sarah smiled. Liliane seemed to let some steam off and back to her usual self. The anger in her eyes earlier was more than intense and didn't like the look it gave on the young girls face. It made her seem like more than a mage-student at the academy. Those eyes briefly held the same look as a killer's. Liliane stood from her desk and made her way past the Headmaster and towards the door.

"If you will excuse me, I will take my leave." As Liliane closed the door behind herself Sarah turned towards Memphis. Her expression changed. She was quite displeased with one thing the demon had said earlier.

"What the heck was that? If Liliane doesn't adhere to your demands then I'm punished? I understand I hold responsibility over my own group of students but the way you stated that rule may have been a little intense. She seemed to have taken it as a threat. Remember, she's a former militarized fighter. Try not to set her off." Sarah pulled out her cigarette pack, absentmindedly, and saw that she was almost empty. "Sorry about that. I just feel protective of her. She doesn't really have anyone to lean on at the moment." Sarah looked at her watched. "How much time until the next session?

----------------------------------------------

As Liliane walked through the halls she was mentally kicking herself for not asking for Ruzik's location. It was bad enough to have to apologize to the demon. Now she had to dread every corner and every door she opened. She didn't want to run into him and not be ready for it. And god forbid he make a smart remark when she did catch him. Right now her mind was calm but if she were to be set off again she would make sure no one would interfere a second time.

Lili shortly came to a door with a sign above it reading "Infirmary." He was carried off due to injuries. This was a good place to start as any. As she opened the door she saw that the infirmary held many students. Pretty much all of the students from her class were there. Lili saw what looked like the nurse and quickly walked up to the lady.

"Excuse me, ma'am. Has a demon by the name of Ruzik been through this way? He has red hair and glasses. He's of the Succubi species. I need to speak to him."

Mikari Akigawa

{Collab between Chikawaa!~ & Chrian Blaire}

After the Headmaster left, the two Dark Mages looked at each other for a short moment then sighed. Looks like wherever they go, troubles would follow. "So, I guess we should go and take care of my student, huh?" Mikari said as he stretched his arms. "Oh well, I've never thought that I'd do this, but I guess for him to be more disciplined, that's the best solution."

Midora turned to his best friend, "What are you planning?" When it comes to Mikari and his solutions, Midora knows all too well that they would be anything but innocent. Not that he was any better, though.

"Well, just leave it to me." Mikari winked, "He is my student after all, right?"

"Fine, do whatever you want." Midora shrugged, "I still have a History of Magic period to teach before the lunch break. You heard what our boss said."

Mikari nodded with a grin as both of them walked out from the Office and parted into different directions. Midora headed for the class where he has to taught and Mikari headed for the infirmary, where his talisman was located. Upon arriving there, he saw that it was as busy as ever but just headed to the more quiet side of the office.

He unveiled the curtain and saw that Ruzik was sitting on the bed side next to Kou. "Hey, sorry for interrupting your romantic moment." Mikari spoke to the two with his usual light-hearted smile, "Come with me for a sec, Ruzik. I hope you don't mind if I borrow him from you a bit, Kou-san."

Ruzik watched as the rabbit rose up from her slumber state and sat up, turning her attention onto the male as she touched his knee lightly. He merely gave a nod to her words, before her features turned into a more concerned state as she enquired as to why someone would want to kill the incubus. ”I think she said the world was better off without my kind, but I passed-out at some point, and I’m not really in any pain I guess. I’ve taken so many hits that I think my body has grown numb to it.” Of course the rabbit likely knew better, as Ruzik was hardly going to admit to any discomfort he felt. Silencing himself, he uncomfortably watched as Kou persisted to sit upright however the girl kept falling back down, occasionally the sound of her bones reached his ears and caused the redhead to look away, slightly out of guilt perhaps.

Moments after, the girl asked of how the other groups did and forced the incubus to face her again, before answering, ”I’m not exactly sure, however I think I saw that cat-girl snatching the staff, I think when her defender was knocked out or something. Their damn mage wasn’t too bad either.” As he finished Kou then moved over a bit and patted the space next to her, inviting the demon to lay beside her. Ruzik was about to move himself however another presence appeared and caught his attention, though not in a good way. It was Mikari, and the mage wanted to take the incubus elsewhere for whatever reason.

Sighing, the demon looked back to the rabbit-demon as he forced himself upright and took a step back. “I guess I have to go with him, it’s probably about the incident during the exercise. But I’ll come back as soon as I can, I promise.” He said to the girl and smiled, though quickly altered his expression to a less than amused one as he looked to Mikari and took his leave.

Saying very little Ruzik walked through the infirmary and headed for the door. However, during his stroll there he saw a familiar face – though not one that he was pleased to see, sadly. It was the mage-girl who had knocked him out, of all people it had to be her there, didn’t it? Well, figuring that he was probably already in trouble – most of it he didn’t deserve in his opinion, the incubus approached the mage and stared directly at her. But he wasn’t his fanciful-self or in a good mood, unfortunately. Although when walking to the girl he could have sworn he had heard his name – was she looking for him?

”Come near me again mage and I will kill you – I’ll take you somewhere that no one will find you, where no one will hear you cry. Though what you best be more worried about is what I will do to you, or rather your corpse, after that. Think about it.” Whether Mikari heard or not he didn’t care, and more so he really didn’t care what the girl had to say. However, despite his promises, it was clear his bad behavior was not going to mend itself anytime soon. ”Now if you would excuse me I have to talk with Mikari, so whatever you do want to say to me can wait – deal with it.”

Having said his peace he continued walking and headed out through the door, leading Mikari out into the hallway outside as the incubus then stopped and turned to face the blue-haired mage. The redhead clearly looked displeased as he raised a hand and gripped the talisman hard in his hand. “Could you please explain why I have this on me? I know it was you who told the nurse to place it on me, and I figured out that it has sealed my powers!” He snapped, tossing the talisman as it spun round his neck and then landed back down against his upper chest. “I demand that you remove this thing, now! Or else.”

Quickly, the demon-boy silenced himself sharply, rethinking his approach to the situation. So far, his do-or-die tactics had not gotten him far in this academy, and really if he wished to be free of the talisman perhaps it was wise to try from another angle. With this in mind the incubus forced a soft smile, tilting his head ever so slightly as he hopped over to the mage and wrapped his arms round the man’s waist. Resting his chin against the blue-haired figures chest, Ruzik gazed up at him with the nicest expression he could muster. “If you take it off me I promise to behave, and I won't cause any more trouble, Mikari.”

Kou watched as Ruzik left with their mage, Mikari. A bad feeling was boiling at the bottom of her stomach, but there was nothing Kou could do to prevent Ruzik from going with him. After all, Mikari was a figure of authority and so they were forced to respect him. "I'll see you later," Kou waved as they exited the curtained area and left the infirmary. It was then that the new Headmaster announced that everyone who was able to needed to be at the next class and Kou, determined to prove she was fine, decided that she was going to go.

Putting her clothes back on was a painstakingly slow process, but the demon managed. The pain was slowly going away and by the time she put her heels on it had turned into a mild discomfort. The female pushed the curtain aside and looked both ways to make sure the nurse wasn't watching before sneaking out of the infirmary and rushing down the hall towards the classroom. You'd think she was excited to learn, but really Kou was excited to be out of that stuffy place. There were far too many students in there and the noise level was very loud for her delicate hearing to stand for so long. How she had managed to sleep in that rowdy place Kou had no idea.

Kou stopped when she nearly ran into a certain red headed mage and attempted to suppress her anger. This is the girl that Ruzik had hinted tried to kill him. "Hello Lili-chan," Kou said, deciding to play nice for now. Ruzik had a tendency to stretch the truth and she wouldn't be surprise if Liliane was really an innocent who had fallen prey to the incubus's tricks. "If you're looking for your teammates I think I saw one of them in there." She said, pointing back to the infirmary that she had hardly taken four steps out of and made her way around the mage and to the classroom. Kou took about four more steps and nearly fell over as pain shot up her leg and into her rib cage. She wobbled, leaning on the wall in order co catch her breath to steady herself; wondering what this could be from since the pain had nearly all but ebbed away at this point.

Finally Kou reached the classroom and hesitated, wondering if this was a good idea. Well, she had already gone through the process of getting here so it was really too late to turn back. Besides, they would most likely not have another violent lesson for quite some time seeing as how most of the students ended up in the wellness center. Kou took a deep breath and turned the doorknob, entering the classroom and taking a seat on one of the desks rather then in one of the seats. It seems that the demon rabbit was the first to arrive and she savored the moment of silence.

It was no good, Muse could not manage to calm herself down no matter how hard she tried. Then the green haired boy approached, asking if she was alright. Clearly this was a rhetorical question although slowly the girl nodded her head and swallowed hard, feeling as though every breath was a struggle. Maybe she was allergic to the talismans? Could you be allergic to paper talismans? No, she would have had a reaction before now. It was most likely just an anxiety attack. It was too bad Muse could not recall ever having one, otherwise she would know what to do or what she normally did during these bouts of panic.

”Eh... You have to calm yourself down and slow your breathing, relax and make yourself comfortable,” Muse did as he said and shifted her weight so that she was more comfortable on the floor and attempted to slow her breathing so that it was no longer coming out in short, rapid puffs. ”Maybe put one hand over your chest to see if your breathing decreases
I remember reading it somewhere, so it may assist
you. Also, try and take five slow, deep breaths. If you steady your breathing then you ought to feel some improvement.”

"O-okay," Muse choked out in response and placed a wavering hand on her chest to see if it would help. She followed the sound of Bugby's voice and closed her eyes; in, out, in out. Eventually Muse brought her heart rate back down and opened her optics once more, smiling shyly up at the demon. "T-thanks," it was then that the mage called Ichiro from this morning called over to them, a hint of teasing in his tone as he implied something that made Muse's cheeks turn red. She shot upright, jumping to her feet as her cheeks turned blush red. "It's not what you think!" Muse said quite loudly, wringing the fabric of her jacket between her hands in an embarrassed manner.

"Thank you, really." Muse said quietly to Bugby once more. She spotted her mage then and quick as a fox Muse bound over to the girl, "Liliane save me!"

It seemed that Liliane was in the right place for Ruzik came from one of the curtained areas. She was going to go on ahead and get the apology over with when the Incubus spoke first.

”Come near me again mage and I will kill you – I’ll take you somewhere that no one will find you, where no one will hear you cry. Though what you best be more worried about is what I will do to you, or rather your corpse, after that. Think about it. Now if you would excuse me I have to talk with Mikari, so whatever you want to say to me can wait – deal with it.” That did it. There was no apology anymore. Instead, Liliane was going to rip out his tongue. That seemed to be his primary weapon and the mage would only be too happy to remove it. Lili started making her way after him when she hear a voice.

"Hello Lili-chan," Lili turned around to see Kou, the rabbit eared girl. She was also the girl that seemed to be close with Ruzik. "If you're looking for your teammates I think I saw one of them in there." Kou pointed back towards the infirmary she had just walked out of and was making her way around Lili when the mage spoke up.

"I know you're friends with that Incubus. Maybe something more. You seem much more rational than he does so I'd like you to talk sense into him for not only my sake but everyone else that he bothers. Making so many enemies in this place is not a bright idea. And tell him if he ever threatens me again I will be forced to take action. I hope your words will work on him for his sake." Liliane finished speaking and turned to see her team mate. Inside was Muse and several others.

"Liliane save me!" Muse quickly leaped to Lili and the mages first instinct was to look for danger. But then she noticed the lighthearted atmosphere and let out a small sigh of relief as Bugby grabbed his team mates by their collar and dragged them off. Liliane noticed the slight blush on his face. She thought Muse was really in danger for a moment.

"What were you all up to?" Liliane couldn't explain it but she felt very comfortable around this group. She didn't know a third of them very well but she saw how they acted towards one another. They all seemed like good people at heart. Any anger she felt mere moments ago were completely gone. If Lili knew how to smile correctly then she would have done it at this moment.

Mikari Akigawa

{Collab between Chikawaa!~ & Chrain Blaire}

Mikari watched as Ruzik pulled him out to the deserted hall outside of the infirmary. On his way, he just stood by and pretending to observe as the Incubus threatened Liliane. He cleared his throat, gaining the red head attention as he waved his index finger with a mischievous smile. Then Mikari only followed as Ruzik turned to face him, complain, threaten and begging him, to the point that made Mikari quite amusing on how fast he changes his ways to behave.

"Or else what? I'm curious." Mikari smirked as he replied, "And yeah. It was mine. It made quite a nice souvenir, isn't it? If you wasn't such a bad, bad boy then you wouldn't have to go through all that, don't you agree? Having you punished like this make my heart quenched in pain, you know ~" Mikari teased as he leaned his face closer to the demon as his hand caresses the Incubus' face. "If you were this nice to me when I was 10 years younger, I'd gladly to relieve you of all your suffering. But standing in front of you is the evil, meanie, perverted Mikari, you know. What a bad luck for you, didn't it?"

Mikari put his hand onto Ruzik's chin as he gently forced the Incubus to look at him, straight in his eyes. Without much haste, Mikari put his own lips onto Ruzik's, effortlessly resist any struggle from him, knowing of his loss of energy now and that Mikari has always know how to make people swoon by his kisses. Yesterday on his attempt to force Ruzik taking the pill is just a taste.

A few moments later, he pulled away from it and looked at the seemingly flustered Demon with another smirk. "It seems that you like that, don't you? Now, before we talk about anything else, let's go to somewhere more private, shall we?"

With that said, Mikari flipped as both of them vanished into a dark vortex and teleported into Mikari's room. Shortly later, Ruzik landed on Mikari's bed through the vortex and Mikari gently landed on his lap just seconds later. "Now listen up then. Do you want me to tell you the thing that you've been dying to know since yesterday? Do you want me to give you your power back? If you are, then the two of us are going to have a deal. What do you say?" Mikari said with a dangerous smirk as he slowly undressed his robe and every inches of his bare torso were revealed minutes by minutes.

Ruzik couldn’t help but narrow his gaze towards the mage after hearing him tease the demon, from what he could gather the older mage seemed to enjoy making light of every situation at the incubus’s expense. But the redhead wasn’t so humorous, he failed to see the funny side of it all. Foolishly though, Ruzik allowed the man to guide his gaze towards him more directly, thinking nothing of it. The sudden kiss had thrown the demon a little, he tried to struggle but his energy was still lacking from earlier, though a part of him also secretly wanted to give in all the same despite his initial protest.

When Mikari pulled away the redhead looked to him, feeling a bit flustered due to it all. He didn’t like to admit it but Ruzik was a little nervous, or embarrassed, as he didn’t quite know how to feel at that moment. The blue-haired mage always seemed to confuse him, so much so that the incubus didn’t know whether to hate or like the man whenever he tried to mess with the demon. However before he could say anything the pair went through one of Mikari’s vortex’s and soon after landed in the man’s room.

Gathering his bearings Ruzik looked to the mage, appearing a bit cautious as things had rapidly moved beyond his control. As Mikari spoke, the redhead listened keenly to what he said. It seemed that the mage was willing to explain the little mystery that the incubus had been so determined to know, though his attention was more focus on the thought of regaining his powers. Truly the demon would do anything to have them back! He missed them so much, Ruzik was beginning to think his luck was changing. Or he would have, until he caught up with the rest of what the man said.

“A deal?!” He snapped. What was this man’s plan exactly? Force the incubus into some little agreement in order to be ‘rewarded’ with his power afterwards? As much as Ruzik was willing to do just about anything to get what was rightly his back, there was just something about the whole thing that bothered him, oddly enough. It hadn’t taken the incubus long to work out what sort of deal the figure was implying when he noticed the mage beginning to undress. “H-Hold on, I’ve not even agreed yet! So, like what. You get me and I get my powers, that’s it? Then you tell me everything just that easily?” It wasn’t that surprising to Ruzik that someone would use what he was to their advantage. He was an incubus after all, seemingly good for only one thing, and everyone knew it. But still, he felt slightly powerless and it irked him.

Propping himself up a little with his elbows Ruzik then smirked to the mage, hiding his moment of insecurity as he tried to prove to the mage that he wasn’t the slightest bit unnerved by Mikari’s forwardness. Out of habit, he wasn’t just going to roll over for the mage however, it was Ruzik after all, he was untamed and undisciplined and wasn't planning on breaking these habits soon. “I want to know why I can’t hear your heart first, and I demand my powers back. That is my demand; I refuse to be fooled by some mage who thinks he can win me over so easily.”

Ruzik wasn’t going to budge on the matter, as after all he wasn’t going to make himself vulnerable and then hope that Mikari would stick to his word. Ruzik needed something to ease his worry, so to say. “It’s your choice Mika, I’m already here waiting and you could have me, so long as you play to my rules.” Feeling as though he held some power within this negotiation Ruzik smirked wickedly, believing if he got his information and powers, then perhaps he could somehow escape. He wasn’t as cooperative as he let on, viewing Mikari as some mage who he could try and trick. “You’re so close, Mikari.” The demon taunted, sitting himself upright he stared more closely into the mages face, showing he wasn’t afraid of the sneaky man.

Despite appearances, it wasn't that much of a secret to figure out how desperate Ruzik truly was. As an incubus he was knowingly needy for certain things, the mage knew that all too well however what Ruzik hated more than anything was when others used that to an advantage over him. Softening his expression, Ruzik leaned in even more closer to the mage, moving his face near the man’s as he looked into his eyes. He ran a finger teasingly against the mages bare chest, as Ruzik softly spoke, “Mikari, you wouldn’t just use me would you? If I agree to this deal, would you stay true to it? I’m not that fond of mages, so I‘m not usually this willing. But if you do then I will agree to this deal, whatever it entails exactly.”

Acting as innocent as he could the redhead pulled away, sweetly smiling to the blue-haired man, who likely knew Ruzik better than what even the incubus could have guessed. Could he tell Ruzik was just messing with him, for once? “So please, if you could
just give me my powers back. I will do anything, if you just do that - anything.”

Mikari listened as his beloved students said and leaned closer to him. He watched amusingly the way Ruzik acted as if he was the one who will dominate, that all he is doing is just messing around with Mikari. A dangerous smirk appeared on his face. Has Ruzik forgotten who is the one face to face with him right now? He might have won a couple of petty idiots in the past, but Mikari is a different story. He never makes things go so easy as it seemed. Silly, silly boy. Remember that I am your teacher. There's no way Mikari would just simply do whatever the Demon demanded like that. He wanted to show the Incubus who will follow who. With a light-hearted smile, Mikari disposes of the rest of his robe, unraveled his whole naked torso.

With a push, Mikari forced Ruzik to sit with his back leaning against the pillows and knelt on his knees while leaning closer to the Demon. He teasingly trailed his finger all over the red-head upper body before stopping at the talisman. As he touches it, it shines faintly. Then suddenly, black aura appeared around him before shaping in to dark wings on his back. He closed his eyes and for a few moments, they dissipate a bit before merging back into Mikari's body.

"Come on, now try to 'chat' with my heart and see if you can hear anything." Mikari whispered into the red-head ear then leaned his head against Ruzik's chest. He secretly smirked as the Demon trying to to hear him. He has made sure that he can can only listened to a very fainted whisper from his heart, almost as if he still couldn't hear anything or putting any of his thought into it. While the Demon is still busying, Mikari leaned closer and speak with a rather dark tone.

"You should know better that I'm unlike those ones who you considered to 'just roll over you'. You only guessed a part correctly in the deal I'm gonna set. But this is my deal and we're going to play it my rules." He said as he leaned his head on the Incubus' shoulder and began to whisper, so close that he could make Ruzik felt his breathing, "But relax, actually you'll be one on the more benefit side."

Mikari continued as he trailed his finger on the Demon's face, caressing his cheek. "You already said that you'll do anything to get your power back so you can't turn back now, right? Now listen, this isn't just about pleasuring each other. Our deal is gonna be a long-term deal. That talisman you're wearing not only sealed your power, it also allowed me to track you wherever you are and help me to feel your emotions. And it tells me that you're desperately wanted to release your lust now. But, it seemed that you couldn't asking help from her anymore, and I don't think that Kou-san is just going to let you cling into her whenever you want like that. And one more thing, the Headmaster has just given me the rights to judge when should I unseal your power. So, this is the deal. From now on, you'll be a good student, which means you will have to listen and follow everything that I said. And in exchange, every day, if you behave well enough, I will unseal a small part of your power and allow to 'chat' with my heart a bit. You're also free to find me whenever you feel like relieving your needs. I can go either ways so whether you want to be on top or bottom is your choice. When I feel that the time is right, I'll explain why you couldn't. And don't worry, I swear on the honor of a Dark Mage that I will stay true to my words no matter what. Besides, I once said before, right? Unlike Liliane, I held your kin in high regards."

Then, Mikari sat on Ruzik's lap again, but his head still leaned against Ruzik's neck. "Now then, don't have any other harsh feelings. Relieve your needs on me. I've been a bad, bad teacher right? I've made you suffering, right? Punish me. Make it as painful as you want." Mikari whispered seducingly. He may sounds like a madochist, but it is pain that has helped him go through everything in his life, so he won't mind it in the slightest.

Ruzik felt the man push him back a little until the demon was against the pillows. His eyes never left Mikari though, for the sake of making sure the mage didn’t pull a fast one of him. The blue-haired man then ran a finger against his upper body before resting it against the talisman, causing the object to shine and summon forth dark aura-formed wings from behind Mikari. The incubus just remained still and watched, seemingly more at ease once it was over.

Of course Ruzik tried to connect with the mages heart when asked to, though the redhead heard little, practically nothing at all. It was as if the man was tormenting him a little, as Mikari knew how much Ruzik wanted to know the mystery behind his apparent lack f ability in that sense, but the man gave nothing away.

Ruzik listened to what the mage said next, almost near instantly regretting the moment he confessed he’d literally do anything to obtain his powers back. If anything, it just made him all that more vulnerable to the man. Quickly, the demon narrowed his eyes and growled, “But I don’t want you to know my emotions, or how I’m feeling, that’s not fair! You can’t just stalk me everywhere I go, doesn’t that go against my right to privacy!?” It was pointless to protest as the demon knew the mage would not refrain from doing as he pleased, especially as Ruzik clearly hated the thought of being watched, and having others know his inner feelings so easily. “Who I go to, and what I do with them isn’t any of your business. Y-You better stop watching me, or else. I don't like it Mikari!”

Mikari went on to explain the rest of what the deal would involve, and unsurprisingly, Ruzik was not at all amused nor pleased to what was expected of him, and his supposed rewards. “If you think I’m suddenly going to be a well behaved student then you’ve got another thing coming, Mikari. For a small part of my power it isn’t worth it – I’d rather be powerless and dead than suck up to those people.” It wasn’t so much a threat as it was a promise, as the incubus simply refused to be good. He was always a bit dramatic though. “So you’re still not telling me anything either, are you? What do you mean ‘when you feel the time is right’? What’s the big secret?! I want to know!”

Mikari was still resting against his neck as the incubus glanced down at the man briefly, pondering his options at that moment. Despite everything, and his feelings, the mage was still a decent opportunity for the demon to ease himself and, giving his few other alternatives, Ruzik knew he’d be even more of fool if he refused. “Fine.”

Sliding himself out from under the mage the demon swung his leg over and sat on top of the man, resting his knees to either side of the mages waist as he cupped Mikari’s face in his hands gently. “Mikari, shut up. You’re cuter when you don’t talk.” He whispered, pulling their faces closer as the incubus kissed the mage suddenly. Dropping a hand, the incubus undid the top button of his collar, before moving his hand down through the rest.

Ruzik lay beneath the bed sheets as the demon wrapped himself round them, having fallen asleep not that long ago. In a way he was quite cute when asleep, as it was really the only time when he wasn’t causing trouble fortunately. However soon his eyes shot open quite suddenly, giving off a rather glaring stare. Whether the man was also awake or not the demon couldn’t tell. He hadn’t even looked over to see if the mage was even still in bed. With a shrug he crawled out of bed and got himself dressed, trying to be as quiet and sneaky as he could to avoid being detected by the mage.

Once having sorted himself out the incubus sat on the edge of the bed, feeling oddly peculiar just then as the demon partly struggled to keep his eyes open fully. “M-Mikari,” He said quietly, hoping to gain the man’s attention without looking to him. “I feel
 weird.”

His head tilted to the side a little as he kept himself upright, his energy gradually growing weaker. Maybe it was his hunger, or lack of one more correctly that was getting to him. The demon hadn’t ate anything practically in all his time at the academy, never-mind what he had put his body through as well, though what he was truly lacking was hearts – his body knew he had been deceiving it with the substitute pill, but without proper hearts or something equally fulfilling then his body would shut down soon enough.

Ruzik knew this all too well, as he had felt this feeling before. It scared him a little, however surprising that may have seemed. “Mikari, c-can you please give me my powers back, I-I need them now, I must have them. I-I need to kill... someone.” His breaths were quick and heavy, his hands gripping the edge of the bed hard. The incubus even bared his teeth, wickedly.

Mikari yawned as he lazily woke up from his quick nap. Man, it's been a while since the last time I had so much fun like this. He mused to himself with a mischievous giggle. His torso and neck were covered with bites, some of them are even bleeding a bit. All thanks to a certain someone sharky teeth. But is not that he is complaining though. He's already knew that Ruzik was sneaking away and was about to let him off. But then suddenly Mikari felt that Ruzik's hunger was about to explode. Sitting up on the bed with the bedsheet covering his lower body, Mikari made a facepalm and sighed. "You're such a troubling kid, aren't you."

With that said, Mikari got off his bed and picked up his robe. Then, he took out a vial with crimson liquid inside. "Here." Mikari threw the vial to Ruzik, "I have to went through all the troubles just to made that for you. It's a special potion that I've made using extracts from a Gorgon heart. A gumiho I once met said that it is as equally satisfying for you Incubus alike as a human heart. It took me half of my salary this month just to get that so be grateful. And don't worry, no side-effects guarantee. You only needed to take those pills and that'd be fine for a week or so. But only if you absolutely couldn't hold back anymore then find me and I'll give you some of that."

Mikari stretched his arms as the bites on his body slowly healed and disappeared. "I must admit that you were quite a sadist. I like that. But next time do try to reduce the number of marks you left." Mikari playfully said with a smirk as he put on his clothes, "Now, it seems that the Headmaster are requiring the students' presence. You might wanna go now. Kou-san might be waiting for you there too. Allow me to save you from your long trek."

With that said, Mikari walked to Ruzik, grabbed his arm and teleported them to the Classroom's door. "Well, see ya later." Mikari winked then turned his back and walk away. It was then that the school bell rang, indicates the end of a long morning.

Ruzik stood outside the classroom door and held the vial in his hand carefully. Mikari had managed to pull him and take the incubus to the classroom where he was supposedly wanted, as were other students. A little hesitant at first, the demon raised the vial and poured the red liquid down his throat. Almost instantly he felt a dramatic change within his body, his insides accepting the mystery liquid and embracing its flavor and taste. A smile filled his lips afterwards as the vial was now empty, much to his sadness. He wanted more of the stuff but seemingly was only limited to this one handful, which he was grateful for in his own way admittedly. Although, if the demon was good maybe he’d get more? Would Mikari reward him with that also? Grinning, the redhead began to fall for the little plan forming in his head at that moment. Despite being set against the whole idea of being a good student, he figured that so long as he could act the part then it shouldn’t dent his ego too much, would it?

Placing the empty vial away into one of his pockets, Ruzik took a moment to mentally readjust himself into a more appropriate state of mind. After all if he were to behave differently then he’d need to think differently, though not by much. But still, it was only for the rewards – that was all he was doing it for. Ruzik reminded himself of that before opening the door widely and skipping into the classroom with a wide sharky smile.

When inside he noticed a few familiar faces straight away, especially Ichiro, the boy who he had felt an intense disliking from earlier. It just so happened that the blonde-boy was close to him, seemingly the mage had entered not too long before and right away Ruzik approached him from behind, wrapping his arms around Ichiro in a tight hug. ”Nice to see you're alright, Ichiro. I hope we can become friends, real soon.” Immediately after he released the mage and gave him a friendly smirk, quickly giving a smile to both Cleo and Bugby before his sights was set onto Kou, the rabbit-demon who was perched on a desk. He only just realized that she wasn’t in the infirmary, so maybe Kou was feeling better – he hoped. Soon standing in front of her, he gave the girl a slightly sweet smile.

”Miss me?” He teased playfully, before skipping round and taking a seat next to the girl in the neighboring chair and desk. ”I hope you're feeling better now, huh? You took a nasty hit so you really should take it easy, my little Rabbit. Don't push yourself so much.” His tone was oddly caring, not that it was surprising for him to show concern for Kou. However, just now the redhead seemed to be forcing it a little more, to a degree. Perhaps. As the demon looked to Kou, Ruzik couldn’t help but let his gaze wonder over towards Etelka who sat nearer the back with her young mage nearby, a frown quickly forming on his lips – though he did refrain acting out at the other demon-girl, for once. He remembered the threat she had made towards Kou, and with that in mind he turned to the rabbit and then patted the seat next to him. ”Kou, could you please sit down and get off that desk? I’d prefer it if you sat down on a chair.”

An odd request, but the redhead didn’t like the thought of the rabbit-girl appearing more like a target as she perched herself high on the desk – he didn’t trust Etelka either, so it would worry him less if Kou was down at his level, where he could keep her better protected. Plus, he’d asked quite politely so maybe she wouldn’t refuse him, though he only hoped she wouldn’t ask about his ‘talk’ with Mikari. Since Ruzik already knew he’d broken his promise to her, and so quickly too - that must’ve been a record for him!

Kou had been having a rather nice chat with Cleo and Bugby when Ruzik returned from wherever it was Mikari whisked the boy off to. She had a sinking feeling by the happy smile on Ruzik' face that he had gotten what he wanted which was good for him but perhaps not so good for everyone else. Kou nearly fell off of the desk she was sitting on with surprise when Ruzik gaily hugged Ichiro, as if the two were not enemies but rather the best of friends. The rabbit demon rubbed her eyes, wondering if she was seeing things right as Ruzik let go and skipped over to a seat beside the desk, sitting down and giving off an unusually pleasant aura.

Something was suspicious; just what exactly had Mikari done to her Ruzik? Had he brainwashed him? Or perhaps tempted him with something? But there wasn't really anything or one that Ruzik cared about. What if? But no... Student teacher relationships were taboo! At least in the human world, but Ruzik was probably older then Mikari so perhaps it didn't matter? "I was beginning to wonder where you disappeared to." She replied to his quip and waved away his worry. "I'm fine, you're not the only one with healing abilities." Plus whatever Nurse Julie had given her sped it up a bit so Kou felt 100% better at this point.

"Are you alright Ruzik? It's not like you to act so.... Friendly." Yes that was the right word. He had even given a little wave to Cleo and Bugby. Rather then answering her question he requested for her to get off of the desk. "O-oh alright," Kou was rather surprised. "Is there a reason or are you just scared I'm going to fall?" She slid off of the desk and took a proper seat, noticing that he kept glancing backwards worriedly to where Etelka was sitting with her mage. Ruzik had mentioned before that his arrangement with the weakling had been called off; perhaps she was the one responsible for his sudden change?

Kou stood and walked over to the teal haired girl, flashing her usual smile. "Hey Etelka, you seemed kind of lonely back here." She followed the servant girl's gaze out the window and wished she could see what was so captivating. Maybe Etelka just liked trees? Currently the view was of a rather large one that blocked nearly everything else from view. Or perhaps she spotted a bird? "How are things going with the new mage? Better then the old one?" Kou's mage Kasumi had apparently dropped off the face of the earth as she had not seen the girl since this morning's exercise (maybe Ruzik killed her?) but Etelka's new mage was kind of cute in an innocent way.

Ruzik R.

{Mini-Collab between Kapento & Chikawaa!~}

Ruzik sulked a little as Kou questioned his uncharacteristic friendliness. Like, really. He was actually showing an interest and she couldn’t let it be? Maybe that was the reason he was so hesitant to be kinder to others, because then they’d always point it out and embarrass the incubus. Seemingly it was just plain easier to be rude and bad, from his perspective. However pushing the thought aside, he was relieved when the girl did as he had asked and moved down onto the seat.

Upon questioning his motive for such an odd request the demon just looked to the rabbit-demon, and when about to respond a short while later the girl had already gotten up and ventured over towards Etelka. The incubus almost gasped when finally realizing it, quickly hopping out his chair as he marched over to Kou. Without even saying a word to the girl he grabbed her wrist and forcefully pulled the rabbit back a step, his hold on her, despite appearing to be seemingly aggressive, the incubus only did it out of concern as he looked to the rabbit-demon.

”I asked you to sit on the chair not go walk-about over to her, how stupid are you!” He told the girl to her face, visibly angered by her going to the other demon-girl, though as to why he would never tell. Perhaps his one true flaw Ruzik was never shy, he was too bold and in-your-face regardless of his intentions and to a degree, despite doing something that could have been considered good all his actions tended to viewed as bad. ”Go and sit down, and don’t dare get up until I tell you to.”

He moved Kou over a little before pushing the rabbit in the direction of where their seats were, arrogantly believing she’d just do as he said. Throughout all this though Ruzik also tried to keep-up his ‘good boy’ act and keep all voices to a minimum as to ensure no attention was brought onto them, or rather him. The redhead then looked to Etelka and gave her a wicked grin, leaning in more closely as he stared her down. ”And you, stay away from her. Got it? If I catch you near her I won’t hesitate to teach you a lesson, you lackey.”

Laurence had watched his demon walk away and sit herself towards the back of the room, apparently preferring to do that though the mage wanted to socialize a little, or at least he would have. He hadn’t been in the room that long, but kept himself busy by observing those around him as he was still new to the place, and those who were his classmates. However his attention would drift to Etelka now and again, just to see what she was doing, and at one point the boy noticed the redhead, who had entered after him, approach his demon just after the rabbit-girl had. Thinking nothing of it the boy continued to look at the other students, but as soon as he heard the male demon speak, and how he addressed Etelka and treated the other girl, Laurence couldn’t help but move himself over to the trio.

With a slight frown he stood beside Etelka, though his eyes looked to the one known as Ruzik. ”Hey, leave her alone. I haven’t forgotten what you did earlier, you know. But I'm willing to let it go if you leave her alone.”

Looking to the little boy who appeared Ruzik struggled to hold back his laughter. ”Oh, it’s you. Look kid, unless you got a death wish I suggest you leave the adults to their business – unless you’d like to get bitten all over again, only deeper this time. I’ll make you scream.”

”I-I’m not a kid, and I don’t like the way you’re treating others. Y-You’d just better
” Laurence’s voice fell quiet suddenly, scrambling for words that he had yet to think up. He knew he didn’t like the demon, but expressing that in a meaningful way seemed to be harder than first imagined. ”I-It’s just...”

”Ha! What you gonna do, kid?” The incubus challenged, moving away from Etelka as he faced the young mage straight on, as if urging the kid to do something to him. Ruzik was ready. The demon even stepped closer, challenging his luck. ”What you going to do?”

Twirling it round in his hands, Laurence flipped the black wand round within his grasp and aimed the sharer end up towards the incubus, forcing the weapon up gradually before it pointed just below his neck. The cheerful expression had long since left Laurence’s face, his childish ways evading him as the mage stood and silenced the redhead. ”I’m asking you to leave, that’s all. Please just go away, Ruzik. You have no business with my demon so I would appreciate it if you took your leave, I don’t want any trouble.”

Clearly not expected it, Ruzik begrudgingly stepped back and held his hands out in front of him. ”You’re not even worth the trouble, but if you think this is the last you’ve heard of me you better watch kid, you and your demon have it coming.” He threatened, naturally. Ruzik rarely let anything go without spitting a harsh word or two, and for this mage he wouldn’t hesitate to do the same. Although, seeing little point to continue things the incubus gave a shrug before turning round. ”Whatever, I have better things to do.”

Lying clearly, the redhead took his leave and made his way back to his seat. He hadn’t even noticed where Kou was, mainly too preoccupied by the other damn demon and her mage. Where were things always so hard for him?

Kou's hands balled into fists, how dare he treat her like that! How dare he call her stupid! Kou was tired of Ruzik's hot and cold act, she was not some sort of pet he could just toy around with when he felt like. Kou was a being with emotions and she was not going to take anyone's crap anymore. "Fine," She said through grit teeth, turning on her heels and sitting in the place she had occupied before. Kou began to plot, she was not going to take this quietly but unlike most demons she would act with grace.

As soon as Ruzik returned she struck, not using physical violence but choosing to do something that she knew would drive him crazy. Would she feel bad for it later? Yes, but right now Kou was blinded by rage and dragging someone else into it was honestly the last thing she wanted to. Regardless the rabbit did it anyways. As soon as he turned to her Kou stood and walked over to Ichiro, sitting in his lap and pressing her lips against his. It was no small peck on the mouth, Kou wanted to leave a lasting impression but on who she wasn't sure. Then she remembered and broke away, leaning close to Ichiro's ear and whispering an apology. "I'm sorry," she said and slid off of his lap, her hair turning pink as she waltzed back over to her seat.

"Oops, stupid me." Kou turned to the incubus, a rather devious smile dancing across her lips. She made sure to insert as much fake innocence into her words as she could muster. "You told me to sit still." Kou wanted him to realize she was not a dog that was going to role over and bark at his every command. She was a wild rabbit that no one could contain, not even a God.

"They were teasing me." Muse said and Liliane was a bit surprised. She didn't think of the others to tease but hopefully it wasn't the kind that went with bullying. If it was Liliane would have something to say.

"I'll talk to them the next chance I get." Liliane hoped that the others were just joking that they would understand Muse being uncomfortable with their teasing.

"Should we go to class Liliane?" Muse's voice shook Lili from her thoughts.

"Yeah. We should get going. It wouldn't be good if we were late to class." The two exited the infirmary and made their way to class in silence until the demon spoke up.

"Is there a certain name you would like me to call you?" Muse suddenly asked, hoping they would get to class soon as she didn't want to be in trouble.

"Liliane is perfectly fine. Or you can call me Lili if you want. I'm glad that I seem to get lucky in getting pleasant team mates." They reached the classroom door and Lili turned to Muse. "I just want to make something clear that I apply to anyone in my group; I am not your master. It troubles me if anyone thinks that way of me. We are teammates and equals. That is pretty much my main rule. And if you ever need anything don't hesitate to get me or our group instructor, Ms. Rayne. She's probably the nicest teacher at this school."

Liliane finally opened the door to the class to see most of the students were already present. Including Ruzik. Liliane didn't glare at him as she walked by this time. There already seemed to be some sort of tension in the air as it was but Lili was starting to get what type of person the Incubus was. To Lili he was like a small dog. All bark with no bite. She went and took her seat at the same place as the morning with Muse in tow. Sarah was already at the front of the class as well with the other instructors. Liliane waited to hear what was planned next. And in the back of her mind she wondered how would she do in any further exercises without her abilities.

The rabbit barged in on the girls business, why should she care if the servant was lonely? It wasn't as if they were a group anymore, did this girl still think of herself as a protector? Tedious. Kou asked of the new mage, was he better then the old one, what nonsense. It was not her place to ridicule the master verbally, any gripes she had were to be kept silent. It would be rude to not respond to the girl and she wished to keep good relations with Kou, it would be exploitable, "Lord Snow is my master, it is not my place to comment on his status, only encourage him forward." Etelka's eyes spotted the shark darting his way over to Kou, her threat had worked wonders it seemed.

Ruzik was rather aggressive in his motions, pulling the rabbit away and directing her to sit. It almost caused the servant to laugh at how concerned the shark was, then he got very much in Etelka's face. His words were quiet but aggressive in tone, but no matter what angle he took to try and intimidate her the stoic mask on her face would not break. She spoke back at his words at an equally hushed level, "I remember telling you to stay away from me and the master, are we going to teach each other lessons then?" She returned his smirk at him while leaning closer to his face, catching the master approaching out of the corner of her eye. Well then, the servant certainly hoped the master knew what he was doing, she didn't feel like conjuring the wand and stabbing the shark right now.

The master told the shark to leave her be, Etelka hardly needed the help but was satisfied with the master showing dominance. Then Ruzik had his rebuttal, he was beyond stupid threatening the mage in her presence again, telling him he would cause him to scream. The servant could barely restrain herself from conjuring the wand right now and jabbing the beast with it, but she could feel it. Lord Snow had tightened his grip on it, she could feel his intent, Etelka wished to see where this would go. The two exchanged more words, then it happened, the master pointed the wand towards the dastardly demon. Yes, this was good, Lord Snow was finally showing himself to be a desirable master, asserting dominance over this useless shark.

The red haired demon spat some words before retreating to his seat, Etelka chuckled as he escaped. Her eyes fell to the Lord and she smiled at him, "Thank you very much m'Lord, please do not let me inconvenience you in the future. She bowed her head slightly before returning to the realm of her own mind. However now she was far more satisfied, the Lord was growing already. She brought her bandaged hand up to her face, it had done the trick, it was worth a million times more pain then this. She would help form Lord Snow into the strongest mage, and because she was with him the whole way he would respect her. Being like Mikhail was her goal, then not only would the master be pleased she would be pleased. Etelka wanted to break all who opposed them together this was just the start, but it felt good.

Ruzik watched as Kou left him and made her way over to Ichiro, sitting herself against the mage-boy’s lap before locking her lips with his. Though watching such events the incubus couldn’t believe it was true, and yet he was certain that he wasn’t being delusional either, as the rabbit eventually managed to part herself from the blonde-boy and bring herself back over beside Ruzik.

His whole body ached whilst he sat, his insides screaming with rage and ill-felt thoughts of the rabbit. But he refused to voice it, oh no. He would not be that stupid again, clearly the whole thing was done out of spite to him – but for what? Did he hurt the lil’ bunny’s feelings? Good. Of course naturally his face gave his feelings away quite easily, his displeasure towards the rabbit-girl couldn’t have been more obvious when she sat back down and faked her innocence to him. It almost made him sick. Normally he would not have thought twice about slapping the girl for her spiteful act, not that he usually did such a thing to the girl, not at all, but the anger he felt was so strong at that point that causing any form of pain onto her was deemed acceptable in his mind. However, such an action would go against what he was trying to build – a good reputation, for the sake of earning back all that which was his, mainly his powers.

Still, the girl had gotten what she wanted. Ruzik was hurt, albeit somewhere deep inside of him that many would not have really noticed, but the girl knew him too well and the simplest of actions would have given him away so easily. For a moment and as he sat, his expression softened just an inch whilst the redhead looked to the girl and slowly leaned in closer to her before simply whispering at the girl, ”I hope he will make you happy, because we’re through.” His tone held no emotion, no rage nor despise, and not even a hint of sorrow. If anything it was quite lifeless, maybe he was more hurt than imagined but it was never easy to tell with Ruzik. Even though he may have been reacting a bit extremely, and quite hypocritically. It was a little odd to say the least about the incubus. ”I hate you.”

Pulling away, the incubus turned on his seat before rising to his feet. Ruzik didn’t even care to look back at the rabbit as he decided to walk over to the other side of the room and sit in one of the seats in the front row, surprisingly. Though perhaps even more amazingly, he didn’t kick off. Not a raised word was screamed, not a table was thrown, and not even a hint of revenge erupted from the demon. For those who knew him it would have been considered disturbing, but Ruzik didn’t seem otherwise bothered.

Of course though Ichiro earned a nasty glare from the redhead at one point, though other than that Ruzik paid no attention to anyone as he sat and faced the front. Didn't even look to Liliane, nor even Etelka again, or anyone. Eventually he slouched in his seat before resting his arms against the desk and burying his face within them, seemingly awaiting for further action from the Headmaster, once the time came. However, for certain he never looked back to the rabbit-girl. Not even once. They were through. Was she pleased with herself now?

"Goodbye Ruzik." was all the rabbit girl said in response to the Incubus's break up. He could go off and sleep with the whole school and she would forgive him, but if Kou kissed one boy the damn succubus threw a fit! He failed to keep promises, lied, cheated, and caused her unimaginable amounts of pain and Kou forgave him every time. Yet somehow in this whole situation she was the unfaithful one; he had no right to be mad. If anything she should have been the one breaking up with him! Perhaps it was a good thing Kou had been dragged away to the shrine all those years ago, otherwise Kou might have killed Ruzik by now.

She sighed as her hair returned to it's normal blue and drummed her fingers on the desk. This wasn't an unusual pattern for the two, breaking up after a string of extraordinary events. Unfortunately their relationship was not the healthiest and Kou seemed to like the idea of Ruzik more than the actual Ruzik. Things were going to be very awkward tonight when they had to retire to the same room. Perhaps she could take the bottom bunk and build a blanket fort? That's what any mature, 1000 something year old demon would do.

This led to thoughts about their new mage. Kou had gotten the message that Kasumi was being transferred and that she and Ruzik were going to get a new magic man (or woman). Who they were or what they looked like was beyond Kou and frankly she was excited. This would mean a new friend! Unless it was an overpowering person who had no interest in becoming acquainted and was simply attending the school to try and make themselves powerful. Kou had ended the lives of a few power hungry mages that had attempted to capture her. She had fed their hearts to-dammit why did all of her thoughts drift back to that redhead?

The demon rabbit clutched the sides of her head, it had been ten whole minutes and the fact that she knew they were no longer together was already making her crazy. She could really use a pint of the treat humans called ice cream and one of those magic screens to drown away her sorrows right about now. Don't look back at him. It's not worth it. The rabbit tapped her heel against the ground anxiously, smoothing down her hair and getting out of her chair to perch herself back up on the desk.

Kou was a rabbit, sitting still was not in her vocabulary.

"Oh you don't need to do that," Muse said quickly. "I don't think they meant anything mean, they were just playing around." Muse did not want to make enemies of the trio especially because.... Well she kind of liked Bugby. It was nice of him to try and help her during her anxiety attack and she did not want to lose the awkward friendship that was beginning to blossom. Muse's cheeks turned red at the thought and she quickly looked down so that Liliane could not see the blush that was forming.

"But to most other mages, demons are meant to serve.... So why?" Muse questioned as she trailed behind Lili into the classroom. Muse sat in an empty seat beside the mage and watched with amusement as the scene before her unfolded. She felt kind of bad for the redhead, although she did not know the whole story; otherwise Muse might have cheered on the rabbit. Muse turned to Lili to say something and winced, the beginnings of a headache starting up in her skull. Gently Muse pressed her fingers against her temples and attempted to rub it away, but the pain persisted and spots began to dance at the edges of her vision. Quickly Muse turned away from the mage as she did not want Liliane to worry for her well being and placed her head on the desk, acting as though she were bored or tired.

This was no ordinary headache and with the pain came a memory. Had something Muse said trigger it? Or perhaps maybe Lili had? Muse closed her eyes, hoping that this would be an important clue to her past.

"Get up you stupid demon, you're of no use to me dead." The boy who spoke was young with brown hair and striking hazel eyes that today were the color of small gold supernovas. He ran a hand through his hair as he commanded the being on the ground to rise. "Master I believe it is dead," the mage's companion spoke, kicking the corpse over with a booted foot to reveal the gaping hole in the demon's abdomen that was still leaking rancid fluid.

"Dammit Muse I told you to rough him up not kill him!" His hand came down hard, striking the servant's face. A large red welt began to blossom on her cheek but the mage wasn't finished, for good measure he kicked the demon in the stomach and as she went down, kneed her in the face. She could not touch him as their contract stated and so Muse took the pain quietly, standing at her master's command. "Come on, now we've got to find another one."

Muse lifted her head off of the desk, both the headache and memory gone. There had been no important tidbits, except now the demon knew that she had once served a mage with odd colored eyes. She was even more frustrated then before, if possible as the memory seemed to be irrelevant aside from the fact it told her where she had gotten so many of her scars from.

About ready to enter the classroom as the door opens, Ichiro stepped back as Bugby quickly closed it in front of them. Getting another ear full about their teasing from Bugby. "Ya I bet I'll be sorry." He said with a hint of sarcasm. Entering the room they all seemed so sit around Kou, this time Ichiro decided to join them. For one, the red haired Demon wasn't around which meant that he was fine. Though if he were to show up Ichiro wouldn't back down this time and if the Demon decides to start something it may be time to throw down the gloves.

Ichiro glanced over at Bugby as Cleo joked about how they could be the only ones returning to class. He hoped that whatever they did next he wouldn't end up with a spear through the leg. The pain was one thing, but the embarrassment he received from the Nurse was on a whole different level. Laughing in his mind a bit as Bugby probably felt the same level of embarrassment in the end as well. His train of thought interrupted as he received a tight hug from behind, while he had a sinking feeling of who it might be. Turning around he had assumed correct as their stood the devil himself. Maybe throwing up a bit in his mouth as the Demon mentioned the thought of even becoming friends.

While the Demon was pushing it, Ichiro wasn't ready to be kicked out for starting something over a hug. For now he would buy his time and pay him back when the time was right. As Kou inquired about why the Demon was being so friendly Ichiro couldn't help, but scoff at the thought. "Ha, him friendly. That's a good joke." Ichiro said in a whisper to himself. Something seemed off between the two, the Demon who Ichiro had learned was named Ruzik, and Kou. As Ruzik keep looking over to the girl who was sitting next to the window.

Before Ichiro knew Kou was already talking to her, though that was not the shocking part. Reacting like wind Ruzik bounced out of his seat moving over to Kou and grabbed her wrist. Ichiro didn't know Kou all that much, though in reality he didn't even know his own team that much. Compared to them he barely knew Kou, while his impression of her from their first meeting was really good as she seemed kind and a lot like Cleo in many ways. See seemed to be really close with Ruzik, most likely knowing each other before they arrived at the school. Still they had just arrived at school so everyone was practically still strangers, though Ichiro felt more as if they were already his family. Ichiro almost jumped out of his desk and speared the Ruzik for the action, though he hesitated because he was unsure of what kind of relationship they had, maybe he wasn't being serious, though it looked serious. Even if he hadn't known Kou he still would be in a aggravated state. Still Ichiro knew Kou was tough and unless she mentioned otherwise he would try not to act.

Ichiro's mother always tried to instill good manners in him, and Ichiro picked them up quite easily. The biggest one his mother ever taught him was never lay hands on a woman. She always really stressed that as the biggest thing, though Ichiro came to understand what she meant. Training, these school assignments or even if the the enemy was a woman he couldn't refuse to fight them because that would be way more disrespectful. What his mother was saying was never assault a woman in a personal manner. While he always tries to act cool and refrain from getting angry. He couldn't stand watching guys bully around women. On top of that he proceeded to start yelling at the girl Kou was talking to. Not sure at all what was going on or the backstory behind it, none of that really mattered as Ruzik's behavior was just disgusting. "Man what a great new friend you guys seemed to have made." Saying with a completely serious face, he hadn't had an expression like that since his fight with Midora and not for a long time before that. He made sure to say it loud enough for Cleo and Bugby to hear.

Ichiro's reason to dislike Ruzik may have seemed petty before, but now he had a solid reasoning why not to like the Demon. He truly encompassed almost everything Ichiro could hate in a person. About to jump out of his seat and kill the Demon himself, it seemed as if the mage from earlier stepped in already. "Oh mage, please I'm begging you to start something so I can join in without the repercussions." Ichiro said to himself. Before anything started Kou did something Ichiro would had never seen coming in a million years.

Kou walked straight over to him sat down right on his lap and full on kissed him. Ichiro's behavior changed in the blink of an eye. His face turned a bright shade of red and his excitement and anger faded in a split second. Most of what he was feeling was pure shock and confusion as Ichiro wasn't really sure what just happened at all. As she apologies Ichiro wasn't to sure what to respond with. "Don-Don't worry about it." Ichiro said back with a hesitant laugh. His face still blaring red and his heart was beating so fast he was sure it was about to explode. "Please no nose bleed not right now, not the time at all." Saying to himself while quickly checking to make sure he didn't get a nose bleed. While his body language and attitude portrayed the idea he was experiences with girls, it was almost the opposite. He had barely kissed any girls, and definitely never had a kiss like that.

He fiddle with his hands below the desk while shifting his eyes from his desk, to Kou, to the front of the classroom. Not making eye contact with anyone in the room, as he wasn't sure what to say or even how to act. After a few seconds he glanced around the room. "So we're just waiting for the headmaster to get class started now." Not sure what else to say right now. Ichiro was really conflicted, one part of him wanted to just stand up and gloat while rubbing it in Ruzik's face. Though as he looked at Kou he could tell by her behavior she was in pain. While he wanted to cheer her up, after what just happened he wasn't to sure what to say or even how to approach Kou at the moment. Watching her he knew he had to do something, he couldn't just leave her like that. He had to think of something.

Ruzik unsurprisingly couldn’t help but look over his shoulder every now and again and eye up the rabbit-demon. He had made the biggest mistake of his life to date and yet didn’t quite know it, as his eyes traveled up and down the girls figure with a rather confused look. He watched her sit on the desk, seeming confident and alright with what had happened – it distorted his train of thought.

Why was she fine with it? Where was her tears and heartache? Moreover, why in contrast was he the one sat hunched over a desk and keeping his head low? It irked him a little, mostly due to lack of understanding. Though to say this was a first for the pair would be an understatement, and you’d think it would get easier the more practice they had for these types of situations, though sadly not. Most times Ruzik was to blame, but he would never accept it believing it was the girls own fault. She’d drive him away, force his unfaithful streaks whenever they arose. He had no control, it was all the rabbits doing. Of course it wasn’t his fault – he was who he was after all, blaming his own species for his antics. What else would you expect from an incubus? The girl knew what she was getting involved with from day one, so why continually blame Ruzik for behavior that she’d more or less accepted? That was his view on the situation, at least.

Facing back round to the front, Ruzik threw his head down hard against the desk with a loud thud. From a distance it would have looked as if he was attempting to knock himself out, though unfortunately he was still very much conscious bar the headache he now had. Others would have wished him dead let alone unconscious. He wasn’t stupid, the incubus could practically feel the hatred and tension that radiated to him like a magnet. One demon had bit him, the other using him then dumping him. A mage even tried to kill him whilst another blatantly stood up to him, and then there was one more who had gone so far as to even break his heart. That was just in one day, if that.

But then who needed others anyway? Picking up his head the demon sat with one elbow rested against the desk, aiding to prop his skull up as he slouched forward. Letting out a sigh he closed his eyes slightly, pondering over what to do with himself. He had lost everything now, there was no real reason to behave anymore or remain at the academy. But it wasn’t as if he could just leave, in reality he was forced to stay at this awful place and face every consequence of his actions – which was certainly a first for him. No wonder the incubus seemed uneasy all for a sudden, he wasn’t use to this wave of emotion that was creeping over him gradually. All the guilt, regret and even a slight hint of fear that was building within him.

”Nobody cares anyway.” He huffed, biting down on his lower lip to the point he managed to draw a slither of blood. His eye though focused on the headmaster, awaiting further instructions. ”Let’s just get this class over with, sooner the better.” He told himself.

Cleo Gardenia

Cleo watched as things unfolded quickly amongst the students after her group had taken their seats. Her eyes had fallen onto both Kou and Ruzik as the pair had some form of domestic whilst over beside another girl, clearly the redhead was mistreating the rabbit-demon however Cleo wasn’t that very experienced with these sort of things. Was this normal behavior? Probably not, considering Kou didn’t look that happy due to it but the feline kept herself out of it at any rate.

Soon enough the rabbit sat back down, followed by Ruzik. But what happened next the cat-girl would never had suspected, and looking quite evidently surprised if not shocked, Cleo witnessed Kou kissing Ichiro right before her very eyes! The girl’s mouth almost dropped open, as well as her ears falling however thankfully it was over pretty quickly. Whatever happened next between the rabbit and redhead the feline didn’t care, as a slight hint of displeasure was visible on her features as she looked to the back of Kou.

”S-She kissed Ichi
but that’s my job!” Her voice was kept to only a slight hear-able audio, her glare shifting between the rabbit and mage though she couldn’t entirely blame Ichiro. But of course his blush didn’t help matters, to Cleo it suggested he enjoyed it which didn’t make her feel any better. Puffing her cheeks a little a slight tint of red filled her face, but she did her best to ignore it. ”Why did it have to be my Ichi.”

Narrowing her eyes a little the feline lowered her ears further before turning to the red-faced mage beside her, giving him a not-to-amused expression. ”You idiot why can you never just say no to other girls!” She hissed at him quietly before punching the side of his arm, though not too hard just enough to emphasize her feelings. Plus, she meant to get him back for his little comment earlier. The one he had said especially loud to ensure she heard, about how the demons had made such a great friend. Yeah, she’d heard him.

Crossing her arms down against the desk the cat-girl rested her head against them, just under her chin, as her gaze looked ahead onto Kou. Cleo unintentionally let out a small continuous hiss, as the feline was never great had hiding such emotions. And as such she couldn’t deny how much it upset her that the rabbit had kissed her mage. He was hers. Her mage, her teammate – her friend. She was protective of her mage and perhaps a bit clingy to him, but ultimately she viewed Ichiro similar to a new owner, in that he reminded her of the old woman who cared for her. So it was hardly surprising that Cleo took offense to the rabbit doing such a thing! However, shifting just a bit closer to Bugby the feline gradually began to lose her hiss and form a purr towards her other teammate, Bugby.

Finally being in a real bed after days of uncomfortable travel and enjoying the pleasant aftermath of her time with Etelka, DĂșyĂš desperately wished to ignore the announcement of their next class that rang out through the entirety of the academy. After delaying for some time she heaved a sigh and finally pushed herself up to her feet. Her eyes squinted in discomfort as she flicked the lights in the room back on and headed into the bathroom to wash her face and fix her hair. Soon after she went about slipping into a new set of underwear and a new dress before donning her loose brown coat and heading out of the dorm, flipping off the light and shutting the door behind her.

Looking none too pleased she tucked her hands away into her coat pockets and made way for the classroom she had found earlier that morning. The halls were mostly empty, it seemed a majority of the students had more promptly made their way to class but DĂșyĂš nonetheless didn't feel in much of a rush. After some time she arrived at the classroom, another sigh pushing its way through her lips as she slid the door open and stepped inside. It seemed class had yet to start, oh joy. Her gaze immediately turned to the headmaster, less ireful than it had been before as her nose detected no presence of the disgusting smoke from this morning. With that out of the way her gaze turned back to the several mages and demons who sat about the room, once she located Laurence and Etelka however she simply made a straight line for them.

She took her seat without a word and glanced between the two, mostly checking to see if Laurence's face had been tended to, and it looked like it had. Already feeling boredom creep in she leaned forward onto the desk, "Smokey over there said anything about what we're doing yet?" she asked to the both of them before her gaze turned more decidedly to Etelka, a slight grin on her lips. "Was fun dear, don't hesitate to ask if you'd like to go again in the future."

Bugby Marshall

Bugby sat and observed as more students turned up, many of which he actually recognized and even daringly knew to an extent. He didn’t really say much whilst sitting and watching, though there didn’t seem to be a need to as things kick-up with Kou and Ruzik, which may have escalated at some point though things were pretty hit-and-miss for the majority of the time. Of course he wasn’t slow in giving Ichiro a quick glare towards his little remark, he had certainly voiced it loud enough for himself to hear, as well as Cleo.

”Whatever.” He muttered with a frown, though his expression changed considerably when the very same mage was then kissed by Kou. It was oddly unbelievable and yet it was truly happening, the expression on Ichiro’s facing lifting the demons mood just a little. But Bugby couldn’t help but wonder why the rabbit had done such a thing, surely she didn’t fancy the idiot? It was then that Bugby couldn’t fail to notice the evident unpleasantness that was Cleo, who felt differently upon the action, he guessed.

”Maybe you should calm down Cleo.” He quietly said after witnessing the feline punching their mage, though not too roughly. Clearly the girl felt more strongly for Ichiro, in a way perhaps she didn’t fully understand. It was quite amusing though awkward at the same time, especially as quite a few students were causing some tension in the air now. Thankfully he kept out of it, preferring to sit and merely watch as conflict was not exactly his area of comfort. When Cleo move a bit closer to him the boy offered a smile to the purring girl, reaching a hand over as he lightly patted her back to ease the girl, surprisingly. He could sense the girls dislike to the rabbit, he understood her issue with the girl though he’d rather she’d got over it for the sake of peace. So long as the cat kept purring that could only be a good sign.

Laurence Snow

Laurence turned and face Etelka, giving the demon a friendly smile before tilting his head to the side. ”You’re very welcome, but you weren’t inconveniencing me.” He told the demon before walking round and sitting in the seat next to her, placing the wand against the desk as the young mage leaned back in his seat. He hoped he wasn’t bothering the demon, and hadn’t even thought of how she felt towards him defending her, although by the looks of it Etelka didn’t mind which reassured the boy. ”I don’t really like that guy, and I don’t appreciate him bothering you. So I just did what I felt was right though I don’t believe I did much, anyway.”

Laurence sighed a little as he spoke, trying to forget about the red-haired demon. However, quickly after, he spotted another redhead though this one he preferred more. It was Venom and the girl joined them, to which he turned to face her. ”No, the Headmaster hasn’t said a word to anyone, or even moved now that I think about it. Though it looks like everyone is here near enough, so we should be starting soon’ish I guess.” He informed the demon, though noticed her gaze was more fixated onto Etelka, and once after speaking into her fellow demon the boy raised a brow slightly. ”Go where?” The mage asked with his ever-common sweet voice. He didn’t fully understand what she was implying or referring to, but he could only assume whatever it was happened during the time of which he was absent from both demons. ”If it was fun, can I go too?”

He looked to the pair curiously, offering a smile as his fingers tapped lightly against the wand. Really, the boy was just pleased to know that the two demons were getting along, clearly very well. And so long as he got along with them then that was all that mattered. ”I meant to ask what you two did after I left, so I'm guessing you went somewhere? And you didn't think to come and get me too!”

Memphis

Memphis watched as the room filled up gradually, rarely uttering a single word nor moving as he kept his being seated indefinitely. At some point he noticed Midora arriving, giving out a faint sigh of quiet relief as at least now he wasn’t alone with the class – not that the students bothered him to that extreme, but it was strangely reassuring to know there was other members of staff nearby in case they should be needed. Likewise Miss Rayne appeared and took her place at the front with him.

With the thought pushed aside however the red-haired demon rose from his seat and calmly walked around the desk before placing himself in front of the seated students. With either hand sat against the side of his waist the man gave quite an emotionless stare to the youths, though perhaps that was mainly due to the fact he didn’t have a cigarette and was a little lost as to what to do with himself without a smoke on-hand.

"Well, let me start by saying you all did well on your exercise this morning. I am actually quite surprised to see so many of you back here right now," He began, though it was a little too much effort for the demon to force a smile. "That was just a tiny ouch of what will be thrown at you to come in your time at this academy. So, work on your groups and bond more, as you will certainly require each other in the exercises to come." With the brief moment of praise over, the Headmaster shifted his weight from side to side momentarily as he thought quietly for a few seconds. Once that was done, he cleared his throat slightly. "Now, I have asked you here for two things, mainly. One being what some of you will be doing now, and secondly what the rest of you will be doing tonight."

Pausing, he let the wonder and curiosity set into their minds before continuing. "As I said, there will be a special task given out to a few select individuals. Those students are as followed – Laurence Snow, DĂșyĂš, Muse, Hive, Ichiro Ogura and Cleo Gardenia. Those whose names I’ve mentioned will speak with me and Mr. Kurayami shortly, in private. You will be briefed then on what it entails, and we will prepare you for this task soon enough. However, all I ask is that you remain seated for now until we are ready to speak with you. As I must ensure the remaining students are set with their task first." Memphis gave Midora a quick glance, as he revealed his chosen students and even added another one to the bunch – but the demon knew what he was doing. He had thought about it, and stuck with his decision.

Readjusting himself, the demon clasped his hands together as he addressed the other half of the class – meaning those who were not part of the special mission. "You remaining five – Kou, Ruzik, Etelka, Liliane and Bugby will be partaking in a different task. Though soon there is to be six of you once our newest student arrives, I’m sure both Kou and Ruzik have been informed of their new mage – Lapidus?" Glancing to the door, the red-haired demon began to wonder when his newest arrival would actually arrive. He had told the boy to be there early but clearly that had not happened, but he was sure the mage would appear soon enough. Quickly though he returned his attention o the students. "As I was saying. You all will be undergoing a knock-down challenge and will be split into two groups - the first person from each group to knock-down both their teammates will earn a special reward of their choice. I believe this to be quite a fun game, especially when grouped with those you are not entirely familiar with."

Walking closer the Headmaster looked to the individual students who he was talking to, eyeing them up as he thought. "Group 1 will be Bugby, Etelka and Liliane. Meaning Group 2 will be of Kou, Ruzik and Lapidus." Giving a slight nod the demon walked back over to his desk and rested against its side as he addressed the students. "That is all. Those who are doing the knock-down challenge should make their way outside to the training area to begin." He said and pointed to the door. "It’s a simple game, the aim is to knock both your opponents down - however you are only allowed to hit each person once. If you fail to knock them over with that one hit then you lose and will be disqualified - in turn giving a point to your opponents. But by all means use your abilities to their best and avoid getting hit for as long as you can - those who do not have any powers currently will have to adapt. Think wisely, move quickly and do your best. Oh, and best remember – any form of cheating or lack of participating will result in punishment, both you and your partners." Looking away he turned to the others, " And those who aren’t, as said, should stay seated."

Moving once more, Memphis walked over to Miss Rayne and spoke to her quietly. "If you could, I would like you to keep an eye on Group 1 and ensure no trouble arises. Just make sure no cheating goes on, you know. I will send Mr. Akigawa to keep watch of Group 2 when he arrives." With a nod he turned and returned to his desk, sitting on it this time as he dismissed those five students. Motioning with a hand he also beckoned for Midora to come over beside him.
