Name: Grant McGrath
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Power: Ability to track anything that he has touched. Able to sense when someone is looking at him.
Rank: About 2nd/3rd in command.
Physical Description: Stands about 6'2", a bit lankier than average but pretty muscular. Thin jaw and facial structure, blue eyes. Short/medium length brown hair. Usually wears jeans, sneakers, a t-shirt or casual button up, and a
leather motorcycle jacket. Typically has a blue bandanna tied skull cap style on his head. Large
Celtic cross tattoo on his back.
Personality: Sometimes Grant's view on the world can be a bit black and white; he has a firm understanding of what he thinks is right and wrong, and is very set in his morals. Strongly believes that those that have done bad things need to be punished. That being said, around people he knows, he is pretty laid back and casual. He's very protective of his friends, and persistent. Very rebellious and doesn't enjoy being told what to do, but at the same time usually doesn't boss people around, so he's not hypocritical. Generally does his own thing regardless of what others say, although he does listen to their input.
History: Grant grew up in Reno, Nevada with just his dad. It took him some time to find out about his gift, at first it just felt like he happened to know where things were, like instinct. However, his abilities eventually honed and he perfected them. Now, whenever he's tracking something, he knows what direction it is in, about how far away it is, and it's approximate speed if it's moving. But he can only focus on one "trail" at a time.
When Grant figured out how to use his abilities, he decided to put them to good use. By hanging around in places that were a bit...sketchy, he would keep a watch out for people doing bad things. Then, he would pick up their trail by touching them or one of their things. He would track them until he could find them alone, at which point he would give them a hell of a beating, to "teach them a lesson." Grant always avoids killing someone if at all possible. In fact, before killing an Otherkind, he often tries talking to them to try and change them.
Eventually, he got involved with the Wicked Ones in Reno. He had many experiences, with and without the Wicked Ones, that hardened him up. He even died once after a (freelance) mission gone wrong. He was shot, and rushed by paramedics to a hospital. In the hospital, he died for 3 minutes before resuscitation. He sites this experience as the reason he no longer fears death. Eventually, he moved over to L.A., thinking he would be more needed there. He stayed with the Wicked Ones for seven years, since their conception, gradually rising in rank.
Recently, Grant made a trip back to Reno, following his father's hospitalization, due to a stroke. Unfortunately, his father later died of another stroke. (When the RP starts, Grant will have just returned to L.A.)
Skills: Quick on his feet, good reaction time, free-running, skilled in combat (armed or unarmed), has practiced Krav Maga, so he knows how to get just about anybody on the ground or in a hold, mechanical skills, particularly with cars/motorcycles.
Weapons/Tools: Pistol, collapsible baton , taser, pepper spray, handcuffs, matches, lighter, knife, chloroform, caltrops, tear gas canisters.
Likes: Muscle cars, motorcycles (he used to restore them with his dad), classic rock/metal. (He practiced drums and guitar in his teenage years)
Dislikes: Conflict, people who try and bend his morals, animals (except dogs), computers (he's not very good with them and thinks they're largely a waste of time)
