When five foreign exchange students come into the same small town everything gets turned upside down. Can the other people they came to stay with. Will friendships and romance blossom or will the little small town turn into a battle field.

"And by the way," she said loudly. "If you're thinking about demons shouldn't go to school. They can. We're partially human too, you know. I just suspected you thought that, since it's probably what most would think." The demon girl picked up a pitch black hoodie with yellow snakes on it, mainly around the arms. It was a long hoodie, about to her knees. "By the way, since you probably have friends, I'm not going to hang around you tomorrow. I don't want to embarrass you." Modikai picked out black shorts for the hoodie, but the shorts weren't that long. The hoodie was longer. Modikai sighed, and slipped on her sleepwear. The hoodie and shorts were for tomorrow when she goes to school.

As Kodaka slipped into some sweats and a t-shirt he roughly towel dryed his hair and flopped down on the bed. "No. You stick with me tomorrow. I don't want you getting into trouble. I don't care what my friends think." Getting back up he entered the living room and sat down on the couch to use his computer.

"Alright then. If your friends start saying stuff, I'm walking away." She shrugged, as she sat in her room and rummaged through her duffle bag for her MP3 player. It had a bunch of songs from The Used on it. She turned on The Bird and The Worm. Modikai began singing. "He wears his heart safety pinned to his backpack, his backpack is all that he knows. Shot down by strangers whose glances can cripple, the heart and devour the soul." She paused to wait for the next set of lyrics. "All alone he turns to stone, while holding his breath half to death, terrified of what's inside to save his life." Modikai finished for a moment, then she turned off her mp3 player to rummage through her duffel bag. She had a case the size of a violin, and in fact, it was a violin. She bought it at a music store before she met Kodaka. The demon girl picked up the violin case, and opened it. The girl picked up the violin itself and lodged it under her chin, and began playing. It sounded like an ominous melody, the ones you hear in horror movies.

Kodaka's fingers froze above the keyboard. Was that...... a violin? Sure enough, the recognizable sounds of the stringed instrument were coming from the guest room. That little demon was full of surprises. She could play the violin? More importantly, she has one?! Kodaka got up slowly. For some reason, the eerie music sank itself into his very consciousness. Walking slowly to his room, Kodaka pulled a large case from his closet. It was tucked away in the corner and dust was caked all over it. He had not taken it out in years. As the ominous melody played on, Kodaka clicked open the case. Softly plucking the strings one by one, He was amazed to find the thing in tune. Tightening the bow, Kodaka listened to the tune the girl was making. He hadn't done this in years. Back when he was in Japan, every time he heard a melody or tune that spoke to him, the boy would always go into this trance like state and begin to play with it. Ever since he got to America though, he hadn't pulled out his cello at all. Kodaka finally began to run the bow across the strings. The deep mellow sound of the cello mixed in with the mysterious singing melody of the violin in the other room. The bass line the boy played was a melancholic rhythm, that gave a beat to the violin's melody and it harmonized with it perfectly. Kodaka was lost in the music. A sad, ominous, but hopeful tune played throughout the house. Kodaka didn't want it to stop.

Surprised by the sudden sound, she was comforted. It came from Kodaka's room, so, she boost up the melody to a mischiveous, quick tone, but still possessing the eerie song it gave away. She decided to sing along, and make up lyrics. "Darkness lurks in every corner, the sobs and cries of a late mourner, days go by after I die, and the truth has been revealed that my life was a lie, saddened ones stare at the grave, while the happy ones danced to rave, life goes on as if I didn't exist, like I just disppeared into the eerie mist.." she stopped there, and continued playing.

Kodaka's eyes closed. The sound of a girl's voice pierced through the walls and drifted to the boy's ears. How talented was this girl? Her voice was melodious, clear, and soft but full of power and meaning. The lyrics fit the mod perfectly and then suddenly the violin's voice changed to a rhythmic, quick tone. Kodaka decided to change the mood as well and he took over the melody. The deep notes of the strings and the vibrato reverberated throughout the air.

After awhile, the girl ended their song with a loud, monotone melody that expressed intonation of darkness. She put down the violin, opened her door, and peaked into his bedroom. "You're a good player." She commented, grinning. "I've always enjoyed the violin, and the viola." Modikai said, shrugging her shoulders. "Music is my specialty."

Kodaka ended his part with a soft, eerie note that gently faded away into nothing. He sat there for a moment that seemed like an eternity. That.... Was..... Incredible. Suddenly, the little demon poked her head into his room. "You're a good player." She commented, grinning. "I've always enjoyed the violin, and the viola." Modikai said, shrugging her shoulders. "Music is my specialty." Shaking his head out of the trance. Kodaka got up and put his instrument back in the case. Your not to bad yourself. It's been a long time since I've played with someone like you. Thanks." Putting the case in the corner, the boy sat back down on the bed. "Where did you learn to play like that?"

"I taught myself." She said, and Modikai walked in and floated upwards, to float near the ceiling then to float above his head. "It's what you gotta do when you're alone." The demon girl chuckled.

Kodaka flopped down on the bed looking up into the demon's eyes. "I guess." She really was intriguing. "Is there anything else you do know how to do that you haven't told me about yet?" The boy raised an eyebrow at her.

"I'm pretty good at wielding guns, drawing, hurting people, programming and hacking. That's 'bout it." The girl shrugged, gazing down at the boy. He was oddly..interesting. Modikai yawned. "I should be getting to bed. I'm tired. I'll see you in the morning." The girl lowered her body, nearly sitting on the male, and floated out of the bedroom and into hers.

Noel was startled by a sudden flash in his eyes that it dazed him for a good long bit before he realized that she had apologized to him. "Okay..." he said simply, meaning that everything was fine, other than the little sparkles that swirled around the corner of his eyes. It had been a long time since someone had taken a picture of him, then again he did not meet many people who carried cameras on them in the way she held hers.
"Photographer?" he asked, reaching his hand out to Grass and petting the little kitten in a gentle manner, pulling a purr from his throat. "Can I... see?" he followed his previous question with another, it was the most he had spoken since his arrival to the new town of Edenbrook.

Wow. This girl really was dangerous. Guns? Where the hell did she learn that? Did she have one? Programming and hacking. He would have to ask her about that later. Modikai yawned. "I should be getting to bed. I'm tired. I'll see you in the morning." "Yea... Same.. Good night." The girl lowered her body, nearly sitting on him, and floated out of the bedroom and into the guest room. Kodaka got up and switched of the lights in the kitchen and living room. Glancing at the mess in the kitchen he decided that could wait. Finally turning off the lights in his bedroom, Kodaka slipped into the covers of his bed and yawned. Even though he was tired, Kodaka just lay there staring up at the white ceiling, deep in thought.

The girl slipped into her covers, immediately going into a nightmare as she immediately fell asleep. She absolutely hated that. The demon girl's left eye twitched, after awhile, she woke up screaming her head off as if she was getting murdered. She sometimes acted like a child, which was indeed about to happen. She quickly floated out of her covers into the male's room, grabbed his arm and hugged him like a little kid. "I hate getting nightmares! I don't like having an empty, lonely feeling!" She squeaked. Occasionally she'd act like a child, since she really didn't have much fun in her young childhood.

Just as Kodaka was about to drift off to sleep, he was instantly shocked to consciousness by an ear piercing scream. "Jesus Christ! What now!!?" Just then, the little demon appeared at the doorway. Very quickly, she floated to his side and hugged his arm. No.... More like squeezed the life out of his arm. "W-what do you want?" "I hate getting nightmares! I don't like having an empty, lonely feeling!" She squeaked. Really? A nightmare? Now? Why NOW?! If Kodaka was not as tired or as sleepy as he was now he would probably have kicked her out of his room. But that was too much effort so he let her have her way.

Modikai opened her eyes, since they were closed shut. "Oh sorry to bother you..I just dun like it." She shook her head. "I usually don't have anymore nightmares after the main ones. I'm going outside. I'll be back later around midnight." The girl released him, and floated into her bedroom, closing his bedroom door. She rummaged through her duffle bag, but couldn't find the items she needed. "Gah, oh well." She muttered. The girl shrugged, floated out into the living room and exited the house. The girl sat outside on the sidewalk in the darkness, seeing nothing but blurry street lights. The girl blinked as she heard a flapping noise. Her gaze anxiously shifted in every direction. What was it? Was it some kind of robber? A bird? Owl? Raven? Well, one of them was correct, because talons sunk into her shoulder. It was something heavy, before she turned her head to see a pitch black blob with beaming yellow eyes. "What the hell? A blob with eyes...a crow!" She exclaimed happily, and it turned it's head ominously to stare in her eyes as if it were resonating with her soul. "I'll just sneak you inside then...don't flap your wings," she murmured, and crawled inside the house and into her room, closing the door gently. The crow jumped off her shoulder and flapped it's wings loudly to land on her bed. "Shh!" The girl hushed the crow.

"Wha? What are you talking about? Don't go outside!" Kodaka's thoughts were a haze and he couldn't stop the girl from leaving. Why was she going outside! Geez! I will get absolutely no sleep like this. Drifting off into a light sleep, Kodaka barely heard the girl come back inside. The sound was faint, but he thought he heard flapping. What the hell? But he was too tired to care.

Alcyone
Alcyone nodded before pressing a button showing the first picture of Grass's sleek fur glistening in the sun while he walked among the bright green grass. She smiled down at the picture before handing over the camera, slightly worried for its safety but tried not to think much about it. He didn't seem to be someone to carelessly throw things around. She realized she still hadn't introduced herself, she blushed slightly for being rude. "I'm Alcyone...You are?" she asked quietly.
Watching the cat purr, she knew he must be a kind person. Alcyone looked up at the person before her and studied his features, the sun made his hair glisten beautifully and his eyes where the brightest of blue she had ever seen. The image in front of her was breath-taking, she felt the urge to take another photo of him but sadly he had her camera in possession at the moment.
Skylar
Skylar watched in amusement as Anya walked away from him, she must still be furious over him destroying the town. It was probably where she lived most of her life seeing as to how hateful she now reacts to him. He pondered whether or not he should bother her even more than he already has. The laziness that held a strong rein over most of his actions was able to persuade him against it and to just go find the office and get his schedule. He highly hoped that he wouldn't have to take any classes teaching languages, he shudders remembering how the last time Skylar took one went...He ended up having to go to summer school because of it. He glared at the sun with even more so narrowed eyes before walking toward a school building.

She sighed and walked back to the board to see if she could find were it said the office was. She sighed mumbling to herself in Latin. She had been threw so many language classes already she couldnt remember one she didnt know. She laughed softly remembering what demons had to do to learn a language. The one thing she could never figure out how to do was read a map. A sigh escaped passed her lips, she really was going to have to ask for directions to the main office she hated the thought of it. She thought she was supposed to have someone there to help her with this but the didnt show. She turned back and say skylar again and a thought crossed her mind. "Skylar why are you here anyway i thought you said you would never come to america because you didnt want to learn the language?"

Kodaka groaned. Sunlight poked its way through the window sill and the boy opened his eyes slowly. Suddenly jerking awake, Kodaka eyed the clock on his desk in panic. "Damnit! I overslept!" Throwing off the covers, Kodaka stumbled to the bathroom and began to brush his teeth furiously. What was I doing last night that made me so tired?! Then he remembered. Modokai. Still brushing his teeth half asleep, Kodaka went to the door of the guest room and knocked. "Oi! You! We need to get going!"

"I know. I just didn't wanna leave without you." The girl was already dressed in a pitch black jacket that made it's way to her knees, black shorts under the jacket. Yellow snakes wound around the arms of the jacket, and the girl had eyeliner on her eyes. Her hood was up, and she looked like some sort of devil. She floated out of the room, swaying her devil tail which added the creepiness. "Hello. Hurry up, slowpoke. Do your peepee buisness, take a crap, and let's get going." The girl, even though she didn't show it, was excited about going to school for some reason.

Kodaka was too tired to argue with the girl. Going back to the bathroom, he finished brushing his teeth and went to his room. Grabbing a pair of black jeans from the floor he slipped into them, almost tripping over himself. Opening the closet, Kodaka took out a faded yellow button up shirt and a casual black tie that he slipped on loosely. Shaking the tangles in his messy hair, he finally pulled out a dark blue jacket. Flipping up the hood and folding the sleeves up to his elbows, Kodaka slipped into his trusty Vans and stepped out into the hallway. Entering the kitchen, Kodaka put two pieces of toast in the toaster and took some milk out of the fridge. Grabbing two bowls and a box of cereal, he sat down and began to eat. "Hey! You want breakfast?"

Even though Modikai didn't blush, her eyes went large at the clothes he was wearing: man, he looked kind of handsome! "Mffrrgh," she mumbled, and then shook her head quickly to regain reality. "U-Um, no thank you. Let's get going." Modikai began blushing, and she slapped her hands against her cheeks and quickly zoomed out of the house to wait outside for him. "I'll stay out here."

"You sure?" "I'll stay out here." Kodaka shrugged. Suit yourself. Finishing up the cereal, the boy, grabbed the two pieces of toast from the toaster. He winced. "Ow! Hot!" Taking the butter out of the fridge, he took a knife and spread the butter over the toast. Putting one of the pieces in his mouth he grabbed his bag off the couch. He had prepared it last night. Exiting the house, Kodaka locked the door behind him. Modikai was was waiting for him and he handed her the other piece of toast. "Here. Eat it. You'll be hungry later." He mumbled with his own piece of toast hanging from his mouth.

*Sigh* Nonononono. What I was saying was we RP getting up in the morning and all that but the day we get up will be the day that the others are on so we can actually go to school and meet them where they are now. Make sense? :P So the day you and I just finished is technically yesterday for everyone else! X3 Hehe, I kinda got a bit confused myself when I thought it through. lol But yea. This is so we won't get stuck!

Ummmmm, since Kuru and I have already ended the day, could the day that the two of us meet, be the day before the day the rest of you come to school? So the day, that the both of us just went through was the day before the one you guys are one now and so when we wake up, we will go to school and meet you all. This is just to keep things going because as of right now, Kuru and I are kinda stuck waiting for you guys to finish your day... :P

Ok as this is the bigining and a few of the characters are exchagne students they have hosts that they are staying with Kodaka is the host for Anya at the beggining this might change and Alycone is the host for the demon guy whenever it is that she gets that character in.

Ok so waiting on two characters but as they are characters i guess we can kinda work without at the moment but i would really like to get the demon guy character in by today please the angel guy was saved by a friend of mine he will most likely be getting his character in really soon but we can start i will work and the second main post including who is staying with who is staying with the two humans ^^
