Henry blinked a bit, taking some time to process what Arthur just said to him. Was her really so tightly-wound that he had his schedule planned down to the minute? Hesitantly, he took Arthur's hand and shook it before letting go and poking him.

"I'm Henry," he told him with a shrug before eying him suspiciously, "Dude, you sound like you're 40. How old are you really, 17, 18? You have to relax and just go with the flow. Do you always schedule your days like a businessman?"

He shrugged a bit himself and said, "I was just exploring. I was going to visit my sister, but I forgot her room number. I guess I will just see her tomorrow. We probably have at least one class together. Anyway, I guess I'll goto the pool. I'm sure there are some hott girls swimming there and I could use a swim. Do you want to come with me?"

Arthur smiled at Henry, "I would be delighted to join you though I did not bring my swimming equipment with me, and in response to your other two questions I am eighteen by the Julian calendar and no I do not schedule my days like a businessman, they rarely schedule as well as I do." Arthur smiled at his own joke, "In response to your last statement I am actually quite a bit more 'loosened up' than I was when I was younger, I only carry three time pieces with me and I'm not in a full suit, as you may have noticed I am wearing neither spats, cuff links, tie clip, or button covers. Though I do understand that being relaxed is quite enjoyable it has been some time since I spoke in a relaxed manner to someone in my age group so I tend to sound quite formal." While he spoke, Arthur pocketed his comb and flashed a wide smile at Henry "If you would be so kind as to lead the way I will gladly follow your lead good sir... I mean... 'dude'"

Henry blinked, taking in everything that Arthur said to him. This was one weird kid. Perhaps he should learn to talk less fancy and more normally. Still, Henry grinned at him and answered him.

"I don't have any swimtrunks either, but that's not the point, man. The point is to see if there are any hot girls there and to check out how well they fit in their swimming trunks. Then, as the situation requires it, we jump in. Though, it has always been a dream of mine to find myself alone with a pretty girl at the pool and do a little 'skinnydipping' if you know what I mean.

Henry chuckled a little, gesturing for the guy to follow him as he headed for the pool, "I doubt that will happen, though, but a guy can dream, right?"

While he followed Henry, Arthur mulled over his schedule *If I allow for two hours of relaxation and recreation I could then retire to the library and get a head start on my research this semester, considering I had a two minute conversation after spending fifteen minutes walking that would mean i could dedicate two hours forty-three minutes to making a list of materials and double checking my measurements, well closer to two hours forty minutes considering the distance from the swimming area to the library. Fantastic, new schedule planned and a potential new friend this is a good start.* Arthur began looking around and enjoying the sights of the school as Henry led him closer to the pool area.


(Hey dude got massive tests to study for so I wont be able to post for a while so almost you can have my character do whatever so long as its within his personality and he would leave after two hours exactly. have a nice day all ^_^)

Henry grinned as he entered the pool. It was indeed a rather nice indoor pool, though he could do without all the marble and that one statue of a mermaid pouring water into the pool. Private schools, though, what are you going to do? He supposed he should feel grateful that his parents managed to get him into this school so cheaply. There was no way they'd have been able to afford it otherwise. This wasn't to say his family was poor, but Titan Academy appeared to be a rather posh school, at least in his view. The room felt warm and, as he dipped his finger into the water, Henry discovered to his delight that the pool was actually heated. He frowned as he surveyed the room, however, feeling rather disappointed.

"Where are all the chicks? What do they expect us to do in here? Go swimming?!" he exclaimed.

Arthur entered the swimming area behind Henry and let himself smile slightly at the dismayed exclamation of his companion. With a soft cough Arthur spoke up "Pardon me, but it would appear that there are fewer ladies present at this location than you had anticipated, this may be due to this being the first day of the school year. Generally I have noticed that only approximately two percent of students spend the first day in the gymnasium or other physical recreation areas. I believe that considering the time of day we would have a great deal more success in finding young ladies with whom to converse at either the main rec room, the dining hall, or unsurprisingly the nearest area with available seating to be found near the girls rooms, from my observations in other schools these would have the highest first day probability of potential persons predisposed to parley with you. As the school year progresses of course these numbers will change and depending on the specific personality or interest oriented type you are seeking differing areas will have different results, I actually have a flow chart written up in my room though I use it primarily to understand population density to allow me to calculate the most time efficient route to my destination it couuld easily be adapted to finding persons to speak with. Shall we head out, considering the time." Arthur paused and check his wrist-watch, pocket-watch, and cell phone clock before looking up again "Pardon where was I? Oh yes, considering the current time I believe you would find the highest number of persons at or near their rooms so if meeting women is your primary objective might I recommend we begin searching there?" Arthur tucked his right hand in his pocket and curled his left, subconsciously holding his hand as if there was a cane in it.

Henry grinned at his friend, taking in all the information he was presented with. He knew he had good instincts when he decided to talk to this guy. He clapped his arm and laughed happily, "Come one then. To the rec room!"

With that said, he pulled the guy along, anxious to find some hot girls to "converse with" as his new friend so eloquently put it. As he entered the rec room, he grinned happily when he saw there were plenty of beautiful girls there. He turned to his friend and asked, "So, what kind of girls do you like?"

Arthur tilted his head to the side while he considered his new companions question, checking his watch reflexively before speaking "I am afraid I am quite unprepared to answer that question at this juncture. I have spent little time conversing to my peers as a friend and none focusing on more than that, I could list traits that I find enjoyable in a friend or list societal norms but though I have a great deal of theoretical knowledge in this area I have not had the opportunity to attempt to implement it. Suffice to say I'm inexperienced at talking to a person in any manner other than I am currently speaking with you. I believe I shall 'follow your lead' as they say." Arthur smiled, though it was a bit strained, and looked around the room silently counting the number of people.

Henry groaned, rubbing his head at the boy's over-analysis. He shook his head at Arthur and commented, "I was talking about physically. Do you like red-heads, Asians, blondes, what? What girls are you attracted to? Do you like goths or emos or preppies?"

He shook his head, laughing a little, before setting off to hit on a random girl. If he was lucky, he wouldn't get slapped this time.
