It's going to be a year to remember.

Introduction

Intro
Briella walked down the hallway of Titan Academy. She grimaced at the knowledge she'd be stuck there for another semester. Orientation was in a week, and she loathed the thought. But she had no choice; her father donated funds to the school, and because he didn't wish to look bad, she was forced to attend. Of course it has nothing to do with him wanting to get rid of me, she thought to herself with a smirk. He had said something about this being a year to remember... but what could he mean by that?

Plot Summary
It is obvious that only a select group of students attend the Titan Academy Boarding School. What do they have in common? They are all gods and goddesses...well, in the making. Each student has their own unique power that they are individually becoming more skilled in. As the year progresses, and each student becomes stronger and stronger in their gifting, as does the lust for power grow in the teachers and board members. Little do the seniors at Titan Academy know what is in store for them at the end of the year.

Toggle Rules

  • Call me Des. I don't bite. :D
  • No godmodding, even if your character has big powers. You don't have to completely control everyone.
  • Literacy and good grammar/spelling is a must. Your posts shouldn't be shorter than a well-developed paragraph.
  • Frequency, creativity and originality is required, as well. Don't leave us hanging for a week without posting.
  • Follow the site's rules regarding romance and such. Nothing past PG-13 is allowed. (but drama/violence/romance is obviously encouraged, when it's appropriate)
  • Make your character according to your God or Goddess. For example, Zeus would be the popular jock who gets all the girls and is probably dating Aphrodite, who's the head cheerleader. Then there's Calypso, who'd probably be on the swimteam, Hades, the goth kid with a dark past, and Athena, who's probably pretty nerdy. Get the picture?
  • PM me or post in the OOC if you want to reserve a character for 24 hours. Also, if nobody is wanting to play teachers, people will be required to double, just a heads up!
  • I am the GM of this RP and my word stands. Please don't argue with me or disrespect me and other players.
  • You can PM me and ask to be another God/Goddess. I just chose the ones listed because they are fairly common. But, please, I'd like to fill up those before we add anymore.
  • I can add new rules whenever I want. :D

Everyone was gathered in the gymnasium. The teachers were up at the front, introducing themselves to the parents and students...it looked like a typical orientation. Principal Metis made her way to the podium and tapped the microphone.

"Attention, attention, everyone!" she said into the mike, smiling politely and nodding her head in greeting. "I'd like to welcome everybody to Titan Academy. I am Principal Metis. Thank you for coming to our orientation! I am eager to spend another year with all of your children. I'd like to explain what we are about and..."

Brielle had started to ignore what the Metis was saying. With the principal continuing to talk about how excited she was about this semester, and some rules and guidelines, blah blah blah, Brielle was leaned against a wall in the back. She was wearing the typical uniform: a gold, white and black plaid skirt, with a yellowish gold polo with "Titan Academy" threaded in white just below the shoulder. She paired it all with an old pair of black converse sneakers. In the rule book, they never specified footwear, so everyone simply expressed themselves through shoes. How funny, she thought to herself with an inwardly amused smile.

She snapped back to reality when Principal Metis said, "Now, students, you may collect your schedules from the white tables over there along the wall," she used a hand to gesture toward them. "Parents, you are permitted to stay until approximately 5:00 p.m. I am looking forward to the first day of school, tomorrow, and I hope you are too! Now, everyone, feel free to go to your rooms and get comfortable! Have a fantastic first night, and get some rest." She ended, and stepped down from the podium.

Brielle rolled her eyes about the parents being able to stay. Her father never came, and her mother wasn't alive to. She casually walked a few steps over to one of the tables, conveniently having stood by it the whole meeting, and collected her schedule. She was told that she would be rooming with another girl named Juliana... Hmmm, hope she's not a psycho... she thought. She then set off for room 102, luggage in hand.

Dionysus frowned a bit as he sat in his seat. This school was so boring. Why did his parents have to send him here of all places? Oh, right? "To shape him up". He scowled. Why didn't they understand him? He'd get by on partying. All he wanted to do was start up a club with the best booze, drugs, and music in town. But no, they needed him to get a "real" education so he'd be prepared for a "real job." What a joke.

He headed for his schedule and frowned when he looked at it, "Ah, man... There's not even co-ed dorms! What a sausage-fest."

Henry, meanwhile, stood in the corner, playing his lyre, mostly tuning out everyone. There wasn't much he needed to do. His parents already left and the line for the class schedules was huge. He'd wait a while before getting his. He flashed a charming grin at a few girls passing by, causing them to giggle. Yep, he could get used to this school. All it needs for it to be perfect is an ocean beach.

ImageJuliana took her hands, pressing them against her black, gold and white plaid skirt. She had been here for the past three years, and this year she was sure the creases in her skirt wouldn't be able to hold its crisp look. With a frown, she sighed and looked up to Principal Metis who was giving her usual welcome speech to the students and their parents. Of course, her parents felt she was old enough to be dropped off, and not have them babysit her like they did the first year. She rolled her eyes at the thought of even being stuck here for the next two semesters. Once Principal Metis announced they could go get their schedules, she was one of the few students who actually budged to get up. Walking to the white table, she waited for her turn to look for her name, and once she did, she scanned the sheet quickly. She didn't care what teachers she had or what classes were in what order. She only was curious of who she was going to share a room with this year. Brielle.. she said to herself. She wasn't sure who she was but she prayed it wasn't another ditzy blonde too caught up in her ego.

She turned around, glad she was one of the first to grab her schedule. The line was getting pretty long. Everyone looked so much in unison, with their color coordinated uniforms. It kind of made her sick the first year, but over time she's learned to accept it. She over heard the complaints about not having co-ed dorms, their classes not what they expected and having to room with their worst enemy. It brought a smile to her face. She didn't have to worry too much about enemies. She didn't even have to worry about friends. She didn't have any. Only associates. She was always too busy with her head in the nearest book.

She grabbed a hold of her things, pulling them along her side as she made her way to the girls dorm rooms. Looking down at the paper to see the small print of her room number. 102. First floor, how wonderful. she thought to herself. It meant no stairs. Getting closer to her room, she saw a young girl with dark hair nearing to the same door she was walking towards. She forced a smile, becoming timid. She wanted to bite her tongue, but she didn't want to come off as a silent, non speaking freak. The thought made her laugh softly to herself, as she neared the girl.

"Hey!" she called out, setting her bags near the door. "I'm Juliana. I see we're room mates for the year." she said, holding out her hand.

Using her other hand, she brushed the strands of brown hair out of her face, her hazel eyes gleaming towards the girl.

Azure adjusted her glasses and gingerly fiddled with the hem of her shirt while she listened to Principal Metis once again welcome them to the school. She'd heard it three times already and this was going to be her fourth and final time listening. She had never minded the school and had always managed to keep herself in the background; never introducing herself into drama. The teen never understood the point and preferred that she was able to keep to herself and was allowed to be kept to herself. It left less work for her to become a social butterfly. Besides; having friends wasn't going to improve her skills for when she graduated and if it wouldn't help her with her job she didn't find it necessary.

When it was time to grab their schedules she was one of the first in line and one of the first to get her timetable and dorm assignment. Azure was disappointed to see that her application for a single dorm had been rejected and that she had been put with some girl named Diana. The blunette wasn't too fond of plain names but she didn't have the right to judge. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and looked at her room assignment. 105. It added up ti six which was one part of her favourite number so it would do even if she didn't like it too much. Azure was never one to complain; she always did spend most of her time near the pool anyway.

So she hoisted her backpack onto her shoulder and grabbed the other two bags with right hand and dragged her suitcase behind her with her left. With no parents there she got no help and she didn't really mind; her parents were busy and that was something she could understand. The hallways weren't too packed which was what she liked about the school which meant that she could get where she was going faster without having bumped into anyone or anything; and finally made her way to the girl's dorm.

The blunette stopped before her door trying to ignore the two girls by room 102 across the hall. She didn't know them and they didn't need to know her so all she had to do was hurry into her room and get her stuff unpacked so she could get down to the pool as soon as possible. The key didn't seem to want to cooperate so Azure dropped the two bags in her right hand to work the key better and finally through a stroke of luck got the door to open. She quickly slipped inside after she grabbed her bags and instantly claimed the bed on the right side of the room. "Okay, now to deal with Diana," she muttered as she dropped her bags onto her bed.

Arthur studied his schedule intently as he walked towards his assigned room, he did not have his own room but had not yet been assigned a room-mate so for the time being he wouldn't have to worry about another person interfering with his schedule. Upon entering his room, Arthur began unpacking and organizing all of his belongings, studiously placing his suits on their respective hangars so that every shirt, suit-jacket, and pair of pants was grouped according to what it matched with, gray black or white. After his clothes had been seen to Arthur set up his notebooks, day planners, calendars, and two wall clocks throughout the left-hand side of the room, his personal items taking up precisely one half of the room.

*Now, time to make my plans.* Arthur thought, sitting down at his desk and opening his day-planner. For the next ten minutes Arthur wrote down in exact detail what he would be doing for the next weeks including time in class, time allotted for homework, scheduled eating times, sleeping time, free time, and time to make new acquaintances. After completing his schedule Arthur realized that he had not fully considered the most efficient use of time between classes and how long it would take to walk from class to class, *I could be wasting nearly twenty minutes a day, how wasteful!* he thought and immediately hopped up and checked his schedule for today *OK, if I skip over memorizing the schools emergency procedures and reduce my time reading Tesla's biography to one hour I should be able to map out the school in its entirety and be able to devote ten minutes per day to the code memorization for the next three weeks and I'll be back on track, less than ideal but better than nothing.*

Arthur quickly changed out of his school uniform and into his favorite three-piece suit, black with white stitching and an understated gray shirt, before neatly folding his uniform and placing it in his laundry basket. As he stepped out of his room and locked it behind him, Arthur checked his pocket-watch and scanned the small map of the school he had received, comparing it to his classes and their times. Content that his schedule would be righted soon enough, Arthur began heading towards his first classroom after noting his starting time so he could get a baseline time for travel from room to class.

Rosemary sat not listening to Principal Metis's yearly welcoming speech. She generally zoned out during this sort of thing. Why listen to chitter chatter about silly things when you could be laying in the grass looking at cloud animals? It was such a waste.

As the speech ended, Rosemary grabbed her beaded boho bag and the rest of her rucksacks. She didn't exactly have normal luggage...just and assortment of brightly colored and patterned bags. She began to wonder aimlessly out of the gym with all of the students, until she remembered she should probably find out where she was going first.

Room 107...with a girl named Rozalyn. Roz-uh-lin? Rose-uh-lin? If it's Rose-uh-lin we can be the two roses. Roses are so beautiful. But not as beautiful as peonies. Well, I guess they're both nice in their own way. But neither compares to lilies!, Rosemary thought to herself. Like usual, she was going off on a tangent--even in her own private thoughts--and wasn't paying attention. She looked up at the numbers on her door, and saw she was standing by room 109. As she turned around she saw a beautiful blonde girl standing outside of room 107.

That must be Roz-a-lin/Rose-a-lin!, thought Rosemary, as she stared at Rozalyn in a dippy way.

-----------------------------------

Jonathan sat with the other teachers, listening to Principal Metis's welcoming speech. Although he'd only been teaching here for 7 very long years he could recite it all, along with all of the other teachers...and the students...and the lunch ladies...and the janitors. Really, this lady needed a new speech.

Afterwards, as he left the gym to go to his office, he spotted spotted Mz. Elene, the school nurse, whom he secretly had a crush on. She was such an enigma, but what he did know was so quirky and unique...and she was just so cute! Alright, Jonathan. Just because you work in a high school doesn't mean you have the time for high school crushes, he chided to himself. After all, he had a deep passion for history, and felt it a personal mission to TRY and give these kids something to walk away from school with. He continued down the hallway to his classroom to prepare for his first lesson plan.

Zeke, by all appearances, was listening to the 'welcome back' lecture but in fact he hadn't heard a word Metis had said. His father, a stern military man, sat next to him and didn't once glance over at his son. The moment it was over, he clapped Zeke on the shoulder and was out the door without so much as a good-bye or an 'I'm proud of you'. Such was the nature of their relationship. It was callous, but the two respected each other and that was good enough.

Zeke was one fo the first in line to grab his schedule, a convenient thing they had been seated nearest the door. Opening the packet he rummaged out his dorm assignment. Room 218 with some kid named Adam Leonard. He'd met him once or twice in previous years. Kind of weird. More on the gothic side. Zeke being the all around jock didn't seem to role in the same circles as him. Guess that was going to change this year.

Speaking of change... Zeke let out a low whistle to himself as he caught a pair of fresh legs walking past. Seems some of the girls did some maturing over the summer. Hell, this was going to be a good year!

Grabbing his suitcase he exited the gym and headed for his dorm room ready to unpack, change into some shorts, and his the outdoor basketball court before it got dark.

ImageBeverly was pacing back and forth through the halls while the orientation was taking place. She was filing manila folders and handling some office work, which could be stressful when you were at it alone. From a short distance, she could hear some of the students already making their way down the hall way, searching for their classroom numbers, just to get an idea of where their classes would be at. Some students were busy unpacking their things to get reading for the day. Walking out of the main office, she shuffled her feet quickly down the cool hall, inhaling the scent of pine sol. Which she was sure would fade once cigarettes, which were of course not allowed on campus, would fill the air. This was sure to be an interesting year; for her, but more for the seniors.

With a smile, she bounced gracefully to her class room in the English building. Classroom E12, which was very close to the entrance. Tardy students usually claimed they couldn't spot the big bold black letters, but truth was, they weren't looking forward to essays and analysis of short stories. Turning the doorknob, she placed the door stopper at the bottom of the door, so the door was wide open and the inside of the classroom was visible to all. Walking to her whiteboard, she grabbed a blue marker popping the cap off and beginning to write her well known welcome. "Welcome to English & Literature: Enlighten your mind :) This is Ms. Jason's class, and if my name is NOT on your schedule, please feel free to leave. Unless you enjoy extra homework". The smell of the dry erase maker filled the room, as she pressed hard to make it dark enough for the students in the back to see. With that written, she took a seat at her desk, beginning to staple a few syllabus' together, awaiting to see who would be in her class this semester.. What a joy. She has been teaching here for the past 6 years, and she was quite sure this year would be the year she was sure to never forget. For one or two reasons. Maybe more.

All during the orientation, Adam frowned while his mother had her arm wrapped around his and squealed quietly. His father was seated on the other side of him, shifting uncomfortably every few seconds. Adam sighed as he looked down at his shoes, the clunky boots that had started a thirty minute argument with his mother that very morning, and wondered when the damn speech was going to end. He had heard it far to many times for his liking, and it wasn't any more exciting than the first time either. He wondered why the speech never, ever seemed to change. Maybe it was just easier to keep the same speech up, but the old one certainly didn't keep anyone's interest.

Adam would've been content to wait until most everyone else had gotten their schedules before even bothering to move. In fact, that's what he would have loved to do. His mother, however, had a different idea. She got up and practically dragged his to the nearest table, unfortunately not having to wait for long. His mother handed him the packet and waited expectantly for him to open it. He sighed and opened the thing, pulling out his room assignment, knowing that's what she really wanted to know. He frowned deeply when he saw it, Zeke Tanner. His mother looked at him, a worried expression on her face as she took the paper from him. She looked from the paper to her son several times, expecting an explanation, she didn't get one. Instead, Adam grabbed his bags and set off for room 218.

In all honesty, Zeke was the last person Adam would have wanted to share a room with. He knew exactly who the guy was, it would have had to be his first year at school if he didn't. He sighed as he passed some students, him mother insisting that he try to not hit them. She was ruining what could have been a very easy day.

Once the three of them made it to the door, his mother unlocked and opened the door, quickly claiming the left side of the room for her boy. Adam groaned, sure that he was the only senior who's parents stayed until the last possible second, as his mother grabbed one of his bags and started to unpack for him. Chattering excitedly about how great of a year it was going to be and blah, blah, blah. He honestly wished someone would just shoot him, get it over with. Instead he ended up helping his mom unpack.

Zeke was surprised to find that when he reached his room, the door was already open and two people were inside: his roomate Adam and an older woman he assumed was his mother. Pausing in the doorway, hoping not to intrude on a personal conversation, Zeke stifled a small laugh as he watched the woman help her son unpack. She was so careful with his belongings as she tucked clothes into drawers and hung a few shirts in the closet. It reminded him of his own mother who fussed and bustled as she helped him pack his suitcases. But at least she hadn't come to school with him. That would be emberrassing. As he glanced at Adam, he felt sorry for the kid. Sometimes mothers needed to know when to let their sons go.

"Hey there," he called to them as he stepped fully into the room. He tossed his suitcase onto the extra bed and turned to face them. "I'm Zeke."

James lay across his bed reading a comic book. He knew there was supposed to be some kind of orientation today but in all honestly, he couldn't care less about it. Besides, he had picked up his class schedule early, so he knew he was set. He looked away from his comic and out the window, looking at the spot where his parents had dropped him off yesterday. Such an awkward moment that had been. The parents who were more then ready to be rid of their kid and the kid who was more then independent enough to make it on his own stood there and did their best to give some heartfelt goodbyes. The awkwardness of it made him chuckle, the kind of laugh you always have when something like that is over and you're looking back on how odd it was.

Just because he knew his roommate would be walking through the door soon, he picked up his schedual and looked at the name of his roommate. Jackson Hanley. He chuckled at that too, Jack and James. Someone who planned this had a sense of humor it seemed. He prayed the guy was someone who enjoyed a nice smoke occasionally, or at least didn't mind when he did. The was one of the main things he was looking forward to in collage; being able to light one up without having a pair of glares shot at you by the people you lived with. It just got old.

He sighed, and went back to reading. He could wonder and hope what he wanted, but he wouldn't know shit until he met the guy.

Jackson was in paradise. At least, as far as he was concerned, this was the closest thing to paradise he would ever achieve in this life. The girls, every single one of them, seamed to be sculpted from pure beauty. With the collection of female counterparts to choose from, Jackson wasn't really sure where to start. So, he simply did what Jackson was known for doing best; introduce himself to every single one of them. Flinging a duffel over one of his shoulders, his fingers curling around a suitcase and then a piece of paper he assumed was his schedule and room assignment (he had been too distracted by all of the pretty faces to really pay attention to it), he made his way to each female body along the way, flashing them his trade mark grin, running his fingers through his blown out hair. Needless to say, most of them just giggled and shooed him away. But, it was still an accomplishment in Jack's book.

Sighing some and palming his hips, Jackson peered at the walls and windows that surrounded him, seeing he had made his way into an adjacent corridor. Perhaps now would be a good time to see exactly who he was rooming with, much less where. Peering down at the slip of paper, he perked an eyebrow as a snort eased past his lips. James and Jack? Apparently someone in the higher ups had quite a sense of humor. And, turns out his room wasn't that far off. Sweet. Walking down the hallway, a whistle of a tune long forgotten eased past his lips. Really, who remembered the theme to The Velvatine Rabbit? It was quite amusing. Spotting the door that read 365 in bold, shined brass letters, Jackson grinned and cleared his throat before tapping his knuckles on the door.

"Avon calling!"

Diana hadn't even bothered paying attention to anything that Principal Metis had bothered to mention. This wasn't her first rodeo at Titan Academy; she was quite sure that nothing had changed in the summer they had been away, so why bother with the formalities when she could simply grab that fateful slip of paper, and be on about her business. Lucky for her, the woman who sat behind the white table knew Diana personally, and was aware that she hated sitting through drawn out speeches, especially those that were absolutely pointless. With her schedule and room assignment in hand, Diana was already half way down the hallway with her luggage in hand when the principal had announced where the schedules would be passed out. Di was feeling twitchy and absolutely on edge. She needed to get to her room, put away her things, and get to the shooting range. She could physically feel the muscles in her arms straining with the need and want to palm the wood of the bow and let her arrows fly.

In the chaos that had soon ensued in the hallways, Diana had somehow gotten turned around, loosing all of the time she had gained leaving the assembly early. Though Di was an excellent marksmen and fantastic archer, she had no sense of direction. When it came to aim and release, it came naturally. But, as far as directions and hallways and buildings were concerned? She was a lost cause. Eventually, though, she located her room. Reaching for the doorknob, the key needed to open the door clutched in her palm and ready, she wiggled it a bit only to notice her room mate had arrived before she had. It was slightly frustrating, being late, but Diana figured the sooner the formalities were out of the way, the sooner she could change into her hunting gear and get down to the archery range.

Opening the door slowly, Diana's shimmering blue eyes inspecting the small space, she immediately noticed the exotic beauty that stood across the way. Smiling softly, seeing that she had no choice but to take the bed located to the left, Diana set her things down against the mattress, running her fingers through her waves of blond before offering her slender, pale hand to the girl that stood before her. "You must be Azure. I'm Diana. It's a pleasure."

Azure nearly had a heart attack when she heard the door open; almost causing a pile of clothing in her hands to drop to the floor. Yet when her sea foam green eyes landed on her blonde roommate she instantly forgave and forgot the heart stop. "Ah, Diana!" She looked to the clothes in her hand and to the hand Diana was offering her. A frustrated look passed through her eyes behind the lenses before she shifted the pile to her left arm and grasped the other girl's hand with her right. "The pleasure is all mine," she said as she took her hand back to stop the pile cradled in her arm from toppling over. "Sorry I can't hand shake properly; packing up and stuff." The blunette chuckled - that awkward sounding one when one is embarrassed - and turned to set the clothing down on the bed.

Her heart was beating rather quickly as it always did when she was around strangers. Azure was just never a people person and growing up her blue hair had caused her problems; especially since she had tanned skin. The girl's entire look was off; blue hair, green eyes and tan skin had never set in well when she was a kid. Her mother nor her father owned any of the traits but her skin colour. It was no wonder she was completely anti-social and stayed in the pool half of the time; it helped her avoid people.

Nervously she tucked a strand of said blue hair behind her ear and sent a smile towards her roommate. "I've never seen you around before. What do you plan to do when you get out of here?" she asked as she again went back to putting her stuff away. She had to keep busy or she'd have a nervous breakdown and burst from the room to get to the pool. That was what she was planning to do if she had time before classes and always when she had time after classes. Azure tucked some of her shirts into a drawer and slid it shut before returning to her suitcase and opening it up. "I'm sorry if I'm bad at this 'conversation' thing. I'm not really good at it." She paused and looked over at her roommate; a pile of swimsuits in her hands. "I don't get much practice." Azure could already feel that she was making a fool of herself.

Joseph grinned at his roommate as he lay on his bed. It seemed that Henry was new, just like him, and he seemed cool enough, if a little weird. All the guy was doing was playing his harp on the other side of the room. He shook his head. What kind of man played a harp? It was so uncool. Still, Joseph bit his tongue. He didn't want his roommate for the rest of the year angry at him from the start.

"I'm going to go see my sister," Henry announced as he stood up and headed for the door, "She's been going her for awhile before our parents decided to send me."

"Is she hott?" Joseph asked him with a grin, earning a dark look from Henry. He held up his hands, "Alright, alright. I'll chase after the other girls."

With that said, they both went their separate ways, Henry for his sister's room, and Joseph to find a rec room or something to do. It was still too early to goto bed.

Rozalyn never really listened to speeches at their school. She was way to busy with her phone, texting away to her girlfriends. They were currently on a huge conversation about how they were going to handle cheerleading and homework at the same time this year. Her friends weren't as smart as her, she was always a genius to them. Her dad lightly tapped on her shoulder trying to get her to stop and actually pay attention. "Sorry, dad, but this is important." Her father sighed and continued to text, their conversation changing into a different subject, school crushes.

As the speech was ending, Rozalyn's father got a call from work saying that he needed to go in. Her mom and dad said their goodbyes as the walked away. Finally they're gone, she mentally said as she was texting and walking to her new room. She didn't read the roommates name, she just needed to get to her room and actually talk to her friends. Strolling up to room 109, she stopped and continued to text to her friends that she was not going to go after a random boy this year. Her jungle of luggage were leaning up against the wall. After pressing send, she whipped her head and saw a blond, earthly girl staring at her. Roommate? She reread the paper for the girl's name.

"Rosemary?"

James grinned when "Avon called." He took it for a good sign, anyways. He jumped off his bed and walked to the door, opening it. The first thing he noticed about his roommate was his size. It wasn't as if he was honestly that short, but James felt like he towered over him. But aside from that, there was something else about him, someone he seemed to resemble. It took James a second, but when he got it he gave a laugh. "I thought you said you were Avon, not Elvis!" he said jokingly.

He pulled the door open all the way and let him in. "I'm James, by the way, but Jimmy's fine, or whatever." He said, introducing himself. "I already took top bunk, but I heard you can rig these things so their both jacked up... I dunno, it's up to you."

"Well I won't interupt..." Zeke said trailing off. Clearly Adam and his mother were too immersed in their unpacking to pay any head to him. Tossing his bag on his bed he opened it and pulled out a pair of red bastketball shorts and a black v-neck cotton t-shirt. Moving into the bathroom he changed out of his school uniform (a pair of black slacks, a white button shirt, black sweater vest and gold tie) and into the gym clothes. As he moved back into the room, he tossed his uniform into the open suitcase, slid on a pair of sneakers, grabbed his basketball from his closet, and left the room.

Bouncing the ball as he walked down the hall he passed a few students. He recognized a few of them and smiled, but he wasn't in an overly social mood, so he put in his earbuds and turned his ipod on.

The air outside was still warm, not yet fading into the harsh winter that was sure to come. The outdoor basketball court was between to the archery range and the lacrosse field in the back of the school. It seemed everyone was still obsessing over meeting roomates and unnpacking because the sports fields were completely empty. Turning his music up louder, he began practicing his free-throw shooting.

Adam's mother smiled as Zeke entered and looked like she was suppressing the urge to run over and hug him. Instead she pretended to still be interested in unpacking for Adam. She leaned in close to her son and whispered, "Go on, introduce yourself!"

Adam shook his head and shrugged, muttering a, "Why bother? He already knows my name." His mother shook her head and sighed, knowing it was useless to try and argue with her son, he wasn't one to change his thought or points-or-view just because someone else disagreed with him. He also wasn't one to be nice to someone...Well, ever. He was just in a permanent bad mood. So his mother continued to unpack for him, he was expected to put a few things away and confirm where he wanted things. In all honesty, he would've just shoved his bags under the bed and left them at that, but his mother just had to make sure everything was perfect for her son. Adam couldn't wait for her to leave.

After all the unpacking was down, Adam's mother turned to him, smiled and excitedly exclaimed, "Okay, now come on! Let's go see where all your classes are!"

Adam rolled his eyes, "Mother. Don't you think I can handle finding all my classes? I have been going here for what? Three years now? I'm not gonna get lost or anything."

His mother frowned and crossed her arms, "Oh, no. This is not optional, mister! You and I are going to spend time together until I am told I have to leave. Understand?" She didn't wait for him to answer, instead she just dragged him out of the room. It was a good thing Adam didn't place much importance on how cool he looked, or he probably would have died right then.

Rosemary walked forward smiling largely at her new room-mate.

"Oh, wow! Hi! You're so lovely!," Rosemary said as she walked towards Rozalyn. She threw her arms around her and gave her a huge embrace. She felt the pretty girl pull back in her arms, so she let go. Of course, Rosemary being Rosemary, she just kept on smiling. Nothing fazed her.

Rosemary turned towards the door and unlocked it. She walked to the bed closest to the window, so the sunshine could wake her up every morning. She unpacked her 6 plants, and bohemian casual clothing and unpacked. She also set up her bed with several Indian-beaded style pillows.

Rosemary turned to see her room-mate sitting on her bed and just staring at her. She wasn't sure why, but Rosemary seemed to get that look quite a bit.

Briella had easily located the dorm, because she was extremely familiar with Titan Academy. She held up her schedule, checking the numbers just to be positive, until she heard an unfamiliar voice calling out to her. She blinked, narrowing her eyes as she quickly turned to look at the source. I wonder if that's my... she started to think, until the girl finished explaining herself. Oh. That makes sense. She thought to herself, offering Juliana the slightest of lopsided smiles and eying her outstretched hand.

Pausing, she had realized she probably seemed rude not saying anything. Finally, she hurriedly took the girl's hand and shook it before dropping it once more. Her lips rifted and she managed to say, "Uh, nice to meet you. I'm Briella. And I guess we are." she said, scratching the back of her neck before unlocking the room's door and opening it for the other young girl. "Home sweet home..." she breathed sarcastically, looking around. There were two beds, one on either side of the room, and a window and small dresser with a lamp in the center. There were also two uniform desks, nothing special but they would get the job done. There was a small closet with a wide dresser for their clothes, along with some empty hangers. Luckily, this room had it's own bathroom, with a small shower and a toilet and sink with a cabinet mirror.

"I'll take this one," she said, dropping her bag on the bed farthest from the bathroom.

#, as written by Aulelei
ImageAfter they were done introducing one another, she stepped in to their room, breathing in the fresh crisp air.. well, not so fresh. Mostly smelled of fresh pain and freshly washed bed spreads. She was used to this scent. With a smile, she placed her bags on the side of the other bed, turning to slowly lower herself at its edge, taking a seat, the box spring giving a slight creek as she sat. The silence was a bit awkward, but she knew it was only because they were both getting used to eachothers presence. It had been a while since she had to share a room with someone else. A whole summer she had the luxury of sleeping in her large room back home all by herself, blasting the music as loud as she wanted, and cleaning when she felt like it. She rose an eyebrow, hoping to herself this Briella wasn't a slob. She sure she wasn't.. just look at her. Tidy, well kept, even the strands of her hair weren't scattered. Juliana smiled to herself at the thought of Briella most likely not being a slob. She trailed on with a few more random thoughts, until she saw fit to break the silence.

"So.. this your first year here or.. you've been here before?" she said, scooting back and leaning against the bed frame. "If this isn't your first year, I'm sorry for not recognizing you before." she shrugged, "I guess I don't socialize much.." she said lowly, almost sadly.

She looked away, leaning over to go through her bags and unpack a few of her things. Mostly trinkets that she collected, to decorate her small nightstand by her bed against the wall. She remained quiet, waiting for a reply.

Arthur finished mapping his route through his classes, noting where he could save several minutes of travel and pause to organize his papers and fine-tune his schedule, and returned to his room. Checking his pocket-watch and comparing that to his day-planner Arthur noted that for the next five hours he has 'free time' during which he could do whatever he wished, and there was an asterisk in that time period noting that he should use the time to attempt to make friends and aquaintences since this was his first year attending the academy. Agreeing with the notes, Arthur dropped his notebook and day planner off on his desk, carefully lining them up with the edge of the desk equally spaced from the bottom and side, and grabbed his pocket comb to give his hair a quick touch-up before heading out. Remembering his map of the school, Arthur began walking towards the recreation center with the hopes he would find another student there in his year that he could begin a conversation with
*Remember, making friends is a good thing and don't expect them to schedule like you, be relaxed.* Arthur struggled to relax his shoulders and walk in a more 'casual' manner as he worked his way through the school, though his hands unconsciously moved constantly over his suit and hair checking to make sure that nothing had moved out of place.
*Relax*

Henry frowned a bit as he had trouble finding his way through the school. That and he had trouble remembering his sister's room number. He frowned. That certainly put a kink in his plans. What was he going do now? He hadn't spotted any hott girls yet and he was bored out of his mind! He sighed and was about to turn back when he spotted someone looking a bit flustered. With a kind smile, he approached him.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked. The guy looked a little uptight. It seemed that he was even dressed in a suit of all things! He grimaced. He was glad that his parents weren't so keen on first impressions. He had seen the way some parents had been all but gripping their kids during the orientation speech. The horror...

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

Des are you going to post anytime soon so I can continue posting?

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

Almostinsane, could you maybe add a little bit of detail to your post?... sorry, it's just kinda short.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

YaoiDruggie was grounded and can't get on the computer. (In another RP with them)

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

To answer you, Lavender, no YaoiDruggie never made her post.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

We where just discussing how they would be a weird, but actually cute, as a couple. We don't really have anything planned out for them or anything. Really just 'what if's' and speculation. It's sort of an, "If it happens, it happens." Sort of thing.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

If you're referring to the picture on my character I have to say no. Although I do look similar only my hair is much shorter. Kind of an old Rhianna thing going on. My hair is like hers with the controllable curl but yea; not me.

http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/ab98/Purple-Emo-CandyCane/IMG00446-20100905-1210.jpg < This is me.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

I'm confused, then what were you discussing if not planning on them ending up together? xD

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

Blaaaaaaaah, you posted before me.

But no, we have nothing specific planned out.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

I have to say I agree with LozerFan.
And no, I haven't.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

^We hadn't planned anything specific, except the fact they'd be very good together in a really weird way.

Also, is your character picture a picture of you?

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

So all of this is a touch and go like it would be in real life? If so I don't think any ahead planning should be done or it kind of ruins it for everyone else. Unless ahead planning is allowed and people can do that. Other though I would say if it's going to develop naturally there should be no 'pairing' ahead of time.

I dunno. I'm just CDO like that. (I have OCD but the letters are in order as they should be)

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

Will do. :)

And guess you're right. :P

Have you contacted YoaiDruggie?

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

That's not natural, Sam. ;) Jk. But in the future, if you guys are discussing plot stuff between characters, notify me. Thanks.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

^Relationships should just develop naturally! :D

(But Chaoicangel and I already have plans for Adam and Rosemary.)

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

I could have sworn YaoiDruggie made their intro post...
And, I might, I dont know. ;)

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

As in who would be interested in who, unless you just want to make this about total teenage angst and dramarama :)

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

YaoiDruggie hasn't posted yet! I can't really carry on if my room-mate hasn't posted. I ended it with me seeing her.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

What do you mean pairings? And nah, you don't have to do that if you don't want. haha.
I guess now that Ariki has posted we can post again, just don't get carried away. Remember the two-paragraph preference.

Re: [OOC] Titan Academy

So, when are we able to post again after our introductions?
