Setting
Amiras's home is on the outskirts of the city away from most of the business of the inner city. Treelines separate her home from her neighbors, giving her home a good bit of privacy. It has two spacious bedrooms and two baths both located on the second floor of the house. Downstairs along with the living room and kitchen there is a study and a door to a porch on the side of the house next to a sun room near the back. It has a decent sized backyard.
Phoenix was excited when Amira invited the three of them to come over. She was looking forward to getting to know Weston a bit more intimately, having only seen him from a distance before, and she thought that tonight would be fun. She waited with the girls while Amira went to get him, a smirk on her lips when Lottie called him Amira's man. "So, what's the deal there? They're not dating, right?" she asked Lottie softly, wanting to be certain she had things straight. When he came downstairs she feigned a surprised blink, though the blush that came to her cheeks when he approached her was real. "Yes, I'm Phoenix, but you can just call me Nixy," she said, shaking his hand gently.
Weston smiled when Phoenix greeted him and then turned his gaze towards Amira. "I can pour some wine for the four of you if you want to go sit down," he said gently, smiling. "I'm sure getting to sit and relax while you talk is going to be a welcome change from talking while you work," he added with a chuckle before looking back at the girls. "Wine for all three of you?" he asked, knowing already that Amira would want the wine. He already knew which wine to serve them, having picked one that would work nicely ahead of the meal that he had planned. He'd done a bit of prep work ahead of time, so all he really had to do was put the dinner together and start it cooking - that left him more time to sit with the girls and talk.
After Phoenix answered, Weston nodded. "Four glasses of wine it is. That's going to have to take two trips," he said with a chuckle. He had never worked as a waiter before, and servers always tended to have those trays upon which to carry things anyways. He couldn't carry four glasses at once. He headed into the kitchen to pour the wine while the girls headed into the sunroom. He brought two glasses out and handed them to Lottie and Serena, and then he headed back to the kitchen for the second pair of glasses, handing them to Phoenix and Amira. "If you ladies need anything I'll just be in the kitchen. I'll come and join you once I've got the food going, though," he said before starting off.
Weston headed to the kitchen to get to work on cooking while the girls chatted. He poured himself a glass of wine and sipped it while he cooked, in between steps. He was preparing an aubergine and tomato parmigiana with some spinach ricotta bites as a side. He had considered dessert, but figured the girls probably ate plenty of chocolate over the course of the day and wouldn't be disappointed by a lack of dessert; he still wasn't entirely comfortable baking anyways.
