The day grew old as the sun began to set behind the forest of Morlay. A red sky was present, filled with many other colours such as warm oranges and yellows. It was a beautiful evening. A light spring breeze blew across the Kingdom, making it known that summer was only just beginning. The light coming from the sky slowly dimmed throughout the evening to be replaced by the bright moon.

The Elves of Morlay were slowly returning to their homes after working peacefully the entire day. Very few continued to work silently, being respectful to those who needed the rest. The King's Guards roamed the quiet streets of the Kingdom to keep the peace and look out for any intruders. It was rare that anyone came to cause trouble, yet they could never be too sure. Several times in the past, a war had appeared from no where. One resulted to the murder of the late Queen Maiya Rashna which devastated the entire population of Spiritual Elves. They had been such sad times...

Within the Castle, there had been news of a suspected attack upon the Kingdom. It was only a rumour, though it seemed the King could never be too cautious. The amount of Guards on nightly and daily watch had been increased along with the protection surrounding the Princess, Elehna Rashna. Guards had been told to keep a close eye on her.

Elehna rushed around her chamber that night, changing into normal elven rags and tying up her hair. The Princess only stood at five foot five tall, being small for an elf. At most, if she was told to wear heeled shoes for especially occasions, which was rare, she could have reached about five foot seven-eight inches tall. But her height never seemed to stop her. She wore a devilish grin as she grabbed her bow and arrow, continuously glancing out of grande windows to check that all was quietening down for the day. Somehow, the Princess knew her close friend and guardian, Rivera could catch her. But that didn't matter... With a bit of persuasion, she knew she could convince her dear friend to tag along. After all, she only wanted to do some archery training. Grabbing her rich green cloak, she put it on. Her long fiery red hair seemed to clash slightly with the green, yet it gave her a royal air about her.

Elehna pulled up her hood and began to make her way down the halls of the Castle, keeping her head low. She tried to listen in on the guard's conversations as she passed by which mainly consisted of talk about the suspected attack.

"...It is said that he wants something." She heard one male say. "...I just heard he wants revenge..." The other replied as she passed by.

Their words played on her mind slightly... Who was 'he'? ... It didn't make sense yet she shrugged them off. If there was to be an attack, it would all explain itself.

Alexa looked across the landscape, her bow held in her hand with an arrow nocked to it in the event of an emergency. The sun was going down. It was time to make sure that people got away from here. She was standing at the border, where one step would take her into Morlay, where the Spiritual Elves were. "I should probably be with the Prince.." she murmured, but cast the thought from her mind. Ever since the Prince had decided to begin the attack on Morlay, his mind was full of battle plans. She shook her head, and then saw a man approaching, coming from Morlay. He was dressed in dark clothes, and wore a hood. A spy. but for which side? She raised a hand, and her eyes changed to silver. The man was suspended in a silvery, spider-web like orb the moment he set foot on Lycon ground. he struggled, but that only made the orb shrink ever so slightly with every kick. She strode up to him, and held a dagger to his throat, her hand going through the orb like it was water. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice deadly as the dagger she wielded. "I am Gyon. I am a messenger to the king. I am a friend." He spoke quickly, terrified she would flex her forearm. "Not good enough. Tell me, what is the name of the weapon most favoured by the Prince's Guardian?" The man shook his head, narrowly avoiding cutting his own neck. "Nobody knows, but those who have fought him. And even then nobody has lived to tell the tale." Him. huh. Why did they always assume it was a him? the man continued. "Some say he used a sword of fire, some say poisoned arrows. Others say that he can cloak himself in shadows, or force a man to kill himself with a whisper." she nodded, impressed. it was always good to see the legends lived on. She liked to have a good story told about her. She removed the knife, and released the orb. "You may go. but don't let me catch you again." she said. the man nodded, stood up and ran. She chuckled. It was time she got back to the castle.

King Rashna paced in the throne room, stressed and concerned for the well being of his Kingdom... Especially the well being of his daughter. Rumours had hit him that Raziel had wanted to attack Morlay and possibly try and get the one thing that he was refused many years ago: Elehna. He had refused their marriage for a reason and he stood by it. Raziel was greedy and lusted power. There was no way King Isaac was going to allow his daughter to be married to him, nor take part in such plots. No, he wouldn't have it. "Where is my daughter...?" The King questionned to one of his men. "I want her safe and well. She must not, I repeast, she must not go near the border of Morlay." With a swift bow, the guard nodded and made his way out of the throne room to check on Princess Elehna. King Rashna continued to pace for several moments, planning out what actions he should take in case of an attack. Eventually, he clapped his hands together and turned to his most loyal friend and head of the Elven Army, Commander Huor Elendil. "Commander Elendil," The King spoke loud, placing a hand on his dear friends shoulder. "Prepare your men and spread word of the attack. Keep them ready at all times. I need atleast twenty watch men around the Kingdom to watch over Lyncon and Morlay. I shall have a messenger boy sent to you when I hear more of these attacks." Huor nodded and bowed, speaking quietly into the King's ear. "I shall not let you down, my King." With that, he left to do the job at hand.

In the forests near the capital city of Morlay, A young Dark Elf looks out at the city in wonder and curiosity. He sighs and says to himself. "When shall I be able to know what that city holds?" His ears prick when he hears something and looks out to behind him.

"Daydreaming again my Foster son?" Says an older Spiritual Elf who sits besides him. "Come Locien it's almost time for training. This session, I think you'll like at the end of it. I have news to tell you."

"Yes Foster Father Idhrenion." Locien said as they both climb down the tree and head off to a small cabin where they pick up wooden swords and start to spar.

"You're holding back Foster Father. Is something bothering you?" Locien says concerningly. The older elf looks at the boy he calls his son and says. "In a way, yes. But this is for later news. Continue!" They keep sparring, but Idhrenion knew that it was almost time for his Foster Son and himself to go out into the world, so that way the boy can go out into Destiny.

Raziel looked at the image of his army in a crystal ball with a bored expression. Those were some of the finest troops in the land, the best trained, best equipped and most loyal. They were all good men, strong warriors, nimble archers and skilled mages. They were ready to go into battle, furthermore, they were eager for a fight, and he felt like giving them what they wanted: an enemy. Or at least he thought he did, until just a few minutes ago. Sure, he loved the rush of battle, the thrill of danger, the blood and pained screams of people dying. But something was missing. An ordinary battle was just not good enough. He needed something special for this occasion, after all, he was going to make an example of Morlay and its king, not just conquer it for no good reason.

"Any ideas?" He said, looking to the side of the chair he was sitting in where his favorite sword stood. The sword glanced and blinked at him with the eye it had, but it couldn't speak, at least not in the common sense of the word. The massive blade was one of his best trophies to date, a real treasure from aeons past. Legends said it was an evil blade that fed on the souls of its victims and that it chose its owner. He wasn't sure about that, but it was certainly the most powerful weapon he had ever seen, and it had a mind of its own. It was actually a little taller than him, and very heavy, but he wielded it just as he would any other sword.

"Yea, naturally." The prince said, getting up. "That's certainly a good idea, but not really what I meant." If there was anyone to see this, they would think he was talking to himself. Of course, he would never speak to Beleth - that was the name of the sword - if he thought there were people around to hear it. He didn't need anyone getting on his nerves about the dangers of wielding an actual "demon sword" and all that nonsense, so he pretended it was just an artifact with a strange design. Beleth was also satisfied with that arrangement, since people tended to try and destroy it when they learned the truth.

He grabbed the sword and placed it behind his back, where it was held by a simple iron brace, before leaving the room. The soldiers had been awaiting his appearance and gave a cheer, to which he responded with a small speech, informing them that the attack was being postponed a little and that they should rest before the coming battle. The information was met with more cheering. He walked through the rows of his men, exchanging a few words with those who were bold enough to speak to him. He was a really down-to-earth commander, not against leveling with simple footmen. Of course, it was all an act, but it gained him a lot of respect from his men in return for practically zero effort on his part.

He asked one of the lieutenants where his "guardian" was. He didn't really need anyone's protection, but it was useful to have someone like her around nevertheless. Alexa was actually the leader of an elite squad of five he had as his bodyguards, the only female in the group, the only one who focused on magic, the youngest and also the strongest of them. One was an archer, one was an assassin, the other two were warriors. Of course, their skills were very diverse, their respective roles simply indicated what they were best at. He found the female rather soon, and witnessed an interesting scene play out. He walked silently towards her while he watched the enemy spy run away.

"Have I ever told you how cute you are when you're being merciful?" He asked, stopping a few steps behind her. She was significantly taller than him, but so were most of their kind, and pretty much all males. It used to bother him, some time long ago, but then he realized height wasn't that important. Who cared if someone was taller when he was stronger, faster and smarter?

"cute?" Alexa said, not turning to look. She knew it was the Prince raziel. She turned, one eyebrow raised, and shrugged. "he amused me. Did you know that the Prince's Guardian is a male?" She walked over to him, and inclined her head. She hadn't fully bowed to him in years. "how are the plans going?" she asked

The sparring continued until suddenly Locien hit Idhrenion's wooden sword so hard it caused the wood to break. "Hehehe Well done, now for the news, we are going into the city and you are going to have an honest job. However, we cannot go in there just yet until I give you a few things... one i Have made and one I found when I found you. One more thing, due to your talent at weapon making, I reserved a blacksmithing spot."

As the old elf said this he pulled out a Small box and a slender object. He gave the small box to Locien first. "Open it and put it on." was all he said about it.

Locien opened the box and pulled out a small ring that he curiously placed on his finger. The next thing he knew his skin was as fair as Ildhrenion's! "AH! What magic is this?!"

The elder elf laughed as he started to explain. "It's a Morlay magic trick I learned. It'll keep prejudice away. You must make certain you wear it at all times when in public. When you are alone my foster son then will you take it off." Ildhrenion paused and then gave the slender object to him. "This blade I found beside your mother when I found you. You must wear it with pride. I think it is a clan sword, a symbol somewhat. this one has the symbol of a wolf."

Locien stared at his foster Father who gave a nod. "yes my foster child. it does match your necklace. I think you may soon learn as Destiny guides your footsteps. Now then, Let us walk into the city."

With that the Foster Father and Foster Son went off to begin the road of Destiny for Locien.

Finally by keeping her head down and a low profile, Princess Elehna made her way to the Castle grounds where she made her way to a small back exit which only her and Rivera knew about. It was only a small hole in the large hedge which surrounded the Castle grounds, but it was big enough for her to squeeze through. Once out, a grin appeared across her face as she stretched contently. She loved the idea of being free to do what she liked.

Little did she know that back in the Castle, the guard who had been sent to check on her by her Father had sent an alert within the Castle that Princess Elehna had already gone missing. Guards had been sent to search the entire Castle and the grounds, to then proceed to searching the entire Kingdom. Such chaos... and for what? So the Princess could go for a walk and maybe train her archery.

Princess Elehna made her way near the edge of the forest of Morlay, still keeping her head low and her eyes alert. She was smart enough to realise that these were dark times... A disaster could strike at any moment. For a Princess to be out and about at such times was dangerous... But she grew tired of not being trusted. Elehna did believe she could look after herself for a few hours.

The edge of the forest of Morlay was the outline of the Kingdom. Not far away was Lyncon: The Kingdom of Dark Elves. She had always been intrigued as to why her Father had kept Elehna away from them and had turned down the marriage between her and King Raziel. The Princess had only met him three of four times and he seemed like a great man. Though, her Father had always said he was good a deception and that Elehna was naive enough to think he was charming. Somehow, she could believe her Fathers words.

The upcoming war still continued to play on her mind. Why didn't her Father tell her who was attacking and when? Was it because he didn't know? Or was he sheltering her like her usually did? It annoyed her, but these thing couldn't be helped. She'd soon find out.

Princess Elehna soon found her favorite spot near the forest. It was perfect for seeing Morlay's Castle and Lyncon's Castle... They were two beautiful buildings. The young redheaded female set down her hood and grabbed her bow. She always used the oldest Oak tree within the Kingdom for her archery practice. It was big enough to bounce off any of her arrows and it never seemed to get damaged. Besides, it was a beautiful stop to train.

The moon light lit up her milky pale face, making her eyes intensify in colour. Elehna tilted her head to aim at the large oak tree, before letting go of the arrow. She'd repeat this process over and over again. For all she knew, no one knew she had left the Castle and she had all night... If only this were true.

Locien and Ildhrenion continued down a forest path towards the city passing by the great oak tree which the older Elf believed a sacred spot. It was thus that Ildhrenion saw another spirit elf use it sort of made him feel at first nervous yet confident that it was safe as it was very large and sturdy.

"Foster Father?" asked Locien curiously, "What are you looking at?" He was still getting used to the illusion the ring made to keep his true race a secret, but seeing his only family stop to look at the Oak made him curious but he knew better.

"It is nothing Locien. Let us continue onwards. Towards the city. go on ahead I'll catch up." With that The young elf ventured onward a couple of steps before Ildhrenion turned to look at the elf. "Hmph. It's the princess as usual.... maybe I should tell her father about this..." gives a small shrug and hurries to catch up with his foster child.

Locien made it barely to the gates by the time his foster father caught up to him. "Wow Foster Father, this city of Morlay is HUGE."

"Indeed it is my boy. Indeed it is... Come, the shop we need to go to is down the road a bit."

As the news of Elehna's disappearence hit King Rashna, his eyes widenned fiercly and yelled to his men. "Find her! I don't care how and by what means... Bring her back here!" Isaac wasn't normally one to shout out orders in such a fierce tone, but everyone within the Kingdom knew how much he cared and worried for his daughter. It had turned into somewhat an obession. Though, no one could blame him... He had lost his dear wife many years ago which probably caused him to be over protective of what he had left of his family. Grabbing his sword and attaching it to his belt, he then grabbed his cloak before marching out of the throne room. "Tell Commander Huor Elendil that I wish to meet him and his finest men down near the stables." He ordered to a guard, who got onto the task straight away. King Rashna arrived the stable and grabbed his finest horse. A white stallion. Such beautiful creature, it suited him well. Both had a royal air about them. Mounting his horse, he waited for Commander Huor Elendil to arrive. "Sire, I have heard of the news... What is it wish for me to do?" Huor asked as he arrived, bowing as he questionned with several men behind him, copying his actions. Isaac gestured towards some horses. "Commander, you and your men are to come with me to Lyncon. I am to speak with King Raziel and check that my daughter is not in their lands." The King wasn't stupid enough to go alone. Besides, he wasn't even going to go right into the King of Lyncon... That wasn't his plan at all. As soon as the Commander and all of his finest men were on a horse, they began to make their way through Morlay at a fast speed. There was no point wasting time. Many Elves which were still awake and about in the Kingdom moved out of the way as the horse galloped past. Eventually, the King and his men arrived to the gates of Lyncon. The Dark Elves guards recognised King Rashna straight away. "I wish to speak with King Raziel. Out here, alone." The guard looked suspiciously at the King but nodded, running off the send the message to Raziel. It was going to be a long night.. As he waited, he got off his horse yet kept the reigns in his hand.

The two reach around the corner as Ildhrenion saw the king's horses run out of the city. "Too soon, destiny is moving fast my foster son."

"What destiny Father? What does this have to do with me?" Locien asked his foster father concerningly as he went into the empty blacksmith shop with him following. The moment they went in Ildhrenion closed all the windows and doors and lit a few candles near him. Locien then pulled the magic ring off his finger, his skin turning back to the Dark Elven color it is. "I mean I just got here, and you say something is going to happen. What?"

"War my foster son. It is one you must be prepared for. you have a part to play. but for now, You forge. now slip the ring back on and get to work with making a few weapons." Ildhrenion said as he walked upstairs to the rest area above the shop.

Locien rolled his eyes as he put the ring back on, causing the illusion to come back and he Lit the forge that was near him and started to work on making a sword, sighing as he went. "Is this my destiny? to be a blacksmith whilst wearing a disguise?"

Rivera sighed, watching Elehna slipping out of the castle grounds. Grabbing her own bow and arrows, she took off after her, with a soft click. The large white lynx, Galathir, rose and followed. Both stayed well hidden as they followed their childhood friend. With silence and ease, Rivera climbed the tree behind the princess, notched an arrow, and shot, splitting Elehna's. When the princess turned to look, Rivera dropped down and said solomly as she knelt down on one knee with one fist on the ground, "Princess, please...at least let me know when you are going to leave the castle grounds. As your Chevalier, it does me discomfort not knowing your whereabouts." She kept her head bowed as she said this. Dispite all the years of both Princess Elehna and King Rashna trying to get Rivera to see herself as an equal among them, she could not. She was the child of commoners, and circumstance did not change that. Galathir layed down next to the tree, content with watching them.

Locien softly hums to himself as he finishes forging at least three blades and gets to work on polishing one of them. "Well I can't really complain about making weapons, I guess i do like making things. Hmmm I wonder if I can also fashion some good bows and arrows as well." he pauses to inspect the blade he is polishing. "Eh, it looks okay so far, I guess, I think I'll have a good time when I finally open up for business. I just gotta remember what Foster Father said. Wear the ring when in public. I guess that saves me, well a lot." He softly thinks to himself though. "I always wondered though who my family was, or if they are alive or not. Ildhrenion says he doesnt think so." He sighs as he thinks about the family he might never know and the mother that his foster father found dead on the road near the border. "What could've caused such a circumstance to me...?" he then looks at his sword and then he checks upstairs.

Ildhrenion seemed to be snoring on a chair, trying to rest from the walk they had since it was the night hour.

"Maybe as long as he's asleep I can sneak out and really test this sword out to insure its precise condition.... yeah I can do that."

Princess Elehna had turned around from her training to see Rivera and her white lynx, a small smile appeared across her face as she saw her most valuable and closest friend kneel down on one knee in front of her. This always irritated the Princess... She wished Rivera would see sense and act as an equal, yet she seemed to refuse and continue with her ways. With persistence, maybe the Elehna could knock some sense into her 'Chevalier'. Rolling her eyes, the Princess approached Rivera and pulled her up gently with a small laugh. She shook her head as usual.

"Rivera, please." Elehna said kindly with a growing smile. "You know I don't approve of you bowing to me... and forgive me, I didn't think... I would have invited you to come along but I'm glad you are hear now!"

The redheaded female laughed sweetly, her voice ever so melodic and peaceful. Returning to her bow, she grabbed a new arrow from her quiver and made her way back to her position to set up her bow and aimed it at the tree once, just above Galathir's head. Letting go of her arrow, it missed the Lynx's head by a few inches. Content with her result, Elehna turned her head to peer over to Rivera.

"I know what you are thinking..." The Princess said quietly, reading her friend's face. "You do not approve of me being out here at such late times... " Slowly, she moved over to the tree next to Galathir and stroked the Lynx just behind the ear. Never, had she been afraid of him. "Have you heard anything about this attack? Father refuses to tell me anything and is being over-cautious with my safety... Again. He forgets I can defend myself..."

Elehna stopped her rant as soon as she realised that she was droning on. She knew Rivera would understand how she felt and she could tell her anything. The Princess peered up to her with her head slightly tilted to one side, still stroking Galathir's ear.

Galathir raised his head, pressing it against Elehna's hand as she stroked his ear, and he began to pur. Rivera watched her friend, and finaly, sighed. "No I don't. And friend or not, it is unacceptable for a Chevalier to not bow when they first come into the presence of their Ferinr." She had used the old elven words for Gaurdian and Master. She knew Elehna hated it when Rivera reffered to her as her Master, and yet...she felt akward when she didn't. So, she tended to use the old elven language more often. She cast her eyes down when her friend asked her about the attack.

"King Rashna does not wish for you to know this. And yet, I feel that you must. The Tok' Nowe (Dark Elves) have begun to move. Years ago, Prince Raziel asked for your hand. The King was horrified, and immediately refused him. The Prince became enraged. For years, the King has feared he will come back. And now, that time seems to be drawng near. The Dark Elves are growing in numbers, and they have repeatedly crossed our borders unpermitted. Their message has become clear. They are after you, Princess." She stopped, glancing at Elehna. "Princess..." Again she stopped, and started over.

"Elehna. Your father and I know you can defend yourself. Your father is overprotective and overbearing, I understand that. He honestly has begun to become that way towards me as well. Why, just the other day he began to speak to me about getting a guard for myself! A guard of a guard, how embarrasing. But that is not my point. I'm not saying you shouldn't fight, or shouldn't practice. It's not even me dissapproving of you beng out like this at night. What I'm saying is, you don't have to do it alone. That is why I am here, that was the only reason I became your Chelvalier. You and the King are the closest thing I have to a family in this world. And I'm determined that if I must die to keep either or both of you safe, I'm willing to do that. Let me stay by your side, as your Chevalier, your friend...dare I say it, as your sister. For that is what you are, and what you always will be to me, Elehna."

It had been years since Rivera had used the term sister to describe Elehna. She had always been stoic when it came to such topics as family. Yet now, when the threat of them being taken away from her drew closer, her fears forced her true emotions out of her. She loved the King, she loved Elehna, they were her one and ony family. The only reason she had ever held herself apart from them was the fact that she feared what the public would say about it.

Locien puts on a cloak, though he doubted he'll need it cause he has his magic ring on, hiding his true ethnicity from the world and walks out of the shop, with the blade he made in hand. He goes out into the woods and starts to jog, he jogs right past the large oak tree, going through a few bushes and causing them to rustle on disturbance. He eventually reaches a valley a few yards behind the oak and he starts to test the blade on it's balance and speed.

"Hm." He said after pausing to think on it. "It seems to pass all the requirements. now for sharpness." He picks up a large piece of wood and tosses it into the Air and then he slices it in two and checks on the blade for any blemishes from the blow. He smiled brightly from seeing none and yells out excitedly. "Wonderful! This along with the others will fetch a grand price tomorrow! This is perfect! Haha! Oh, maybe I should head back to the shop now. Foster Father may be worried about me. But im not scared. I grew up in these woods. So why should I be afraid? not like I'll be caught out here by anyone." He starts to walk back through the way he came, disturbing the bushes again as he goes past the large oak.

Elehna looked up to listen to her friend intently as she revealed what the whole attack was about. She remained silent for several moments, allowing her friend to go on about her Father and the rest which she already knew. Somehow, Elehna found it hard to believe that Raziel had become enraged or wanted any revenge of some kind. The few times she had met him, he seemed like a charming and serene male who spoke very few words yet the majority of them being sweet.

The Princess' head swiftly turned to the right of her as she heard a rustling in the bushes, her first reaction being to get up from Galathir and grab an arrow from her quiver. Something about the noise seemed too big to be an animal of some kind. What ever the noise may have been, it faded into the distance leaving them in peace. Elehna let out a deep sigh and shook her head. She wouldn't have normally been so jumping had it not been for the news she was just given. Turning back to her dear friend, Rivera, a small gentle smile appeared across her face.

"Rivera.. You are my sister. I shall always think of you like one and you know that. I shall be always be by your side, like you are at mine. My father thinks of you as a second daughter... You may not approve of him offering you protection but I'm sure he only means well..." A light chuckle escaped her smile and shook her head looking down. "...I know that it is hard to believe. He drives up both up the wall at the best of times."

The redheaded female remained quiet after her last comment, looking down in thought as she went over what Rivera had said about the attack. It really didn't seem right in her mind. Besides, there was no reason for Raziel to do to such lengths to obtain her. It was completely obscene and unlike him... In her eyes, of course.

"Sister," Elehna spoke softly, her smile slowly fading as she attempted to give her opinion on the whole attack. "Do you not think that possibly my Father is wrong, just this once?" She chose her words carefully, not wanting to see rude or disrespectful to either her Father or Rivera. "Raziel hasn't attacked yet and the rumour of this war has been going on for a few weeks now. Maybe the King misheard and is mislead. I do not see Sire Raziel attacking Morlay just for me. He has always been a good man towards me...I do not see why my Father dislikes him so much..."

Her words soon faded as the rustling in the bushes recommenced, making Elehna react like she had the first time. This time, she advanced towards the bushes with her bow wielded. She knew Rivera would be by her side in a flash. Apprehensively, the Princess caught a glimpse of the male walking behind the bushes. Perfect night vision was always handy and a great elven trait.

"Pusta! [stop]," The Princess shouted in her elvish tongue, it being a habit on the few occaisions she gave out orders. "Man le? [Who are you?]" Her eyes remained fixated on the male until he approached and revealed himself.

"Pusta! Man le?"

The words made Rivera react before she thought. The princess had her bow, and she had her sword. Her mind cleared, apprehensive for a battle. Galathir, too, stood up and stood on Elehna's other side, growling softly, his claws releasing. Both of them would protect the Princess to the death, and neiter were afriad to do so. All eyes were on the bushes as they waited for the man to re-imerge.

"Huh, Wha? Uh oh! Uhhh, Sorry for interrupting anything Im just on a jog! hehe... Im a new blacksmith in town, I really need to get home otherwise My Foster Father is going to be really mad at me for leaving the shop and house. So uh yeah. That's what you should know and thats who I am. yeah." Locien realized he was stupid enough to make a rustling in bushes. He never was that noisy before. "I am so sorry if I scared anyone! You probably thought I was a spy right? I heard the rumors and Foster Father is a very insightful elf." He gives a friendly smile. Time to see if that magic ring is good enough to help. Foster Father didn't give me it for show. he thought hoping that the magic of the ring helped.

Elehna watched and listened as the male blurted out his explanations as to why we was walking through the bushes at such late hours. Frowning lightly, she tilted her head before lowering her bow. She glanced at Rivera as a sign for her to lower her sword, whilst her hand went to gently when to place itself on Galathir's neck, stroking him calmly. She remained quiet for a moment, getting a good look at the male. He seemed innocent enough. His appearance was one of the spiritual elves and he had a good explanation as to why he was running in the forest.

"A jog, you say...?" Elehna asked quietly yet loud enough to be heard. Her voice remained serene and melodic as she questioned the stranger. "And a new black smith? Yes, maybe you should get back to your... Foster Father. The King has probably ordered mass work from you in these dark times. I suggest you don't go for a job at such late hours again. I doubt the guards would be so forgiving if they found you running about in bushes."

The Princess avoided all hints of her Royal title, having always enjoyed acting like someone she was not... A common spiritual elf. It seemed the male hadn't recognised her due to his lack of formality. Though Elehna didn't mind. She shot a smirk to Rivera, wondering what she had to say to the male before them.

Rivera listend to the banter between prncess and subject, and bit back what she wanted to yell at the insolent boy. However, Elehna semed to be happy about him not knowing who she was, and she simply said as she sheathed her sword, "I would advise you to tread more carefully at night. Rumors of an attack are coming faster, and it would not due to find an elf of either race dead in the woods." She could see the shimmer of enchantment around the boy, but didn't question. He was being truthful, so she saw no reason to intterogate him further. The smile she had worn previously around Elehna had vanished, her fierce, stoic expression taking its place. The one that scared most of her fellow guards, especially the males, out of their wits.

"Thank you for understainding, Well I must go. And I do understand. My Foster Father foretells a war coming. But I think that's just him. Until we meet again maybe?" Locien said as he ran back to the City of Morlay whilst thinking. That was WAY too close. Next time dont make so much noise. The one that sheathed the sword sounded like she almost saw the ring's power. Gotta be careful if I see her next time.

By the time he went back Ildhrenion was waiting for him. "Locien Kestal. Where have you been?" The older elf Said in an almost peeved tone. "Testing one of your blades? You weren't caught without the ring on were you? no of Course not you're wearing it now. Be more careful next time Foster son. Now get to work. Three swords won't cover the sales tomorrow."

"Yes Foster Father." Locien said as he returned to his forge and continued forging blades to sell for the next day. "Well I guess I should be grateful that it's something I actually like to do. Blacksmithing somehow is good in my blood. Well back to the old main grind of the forge." He had a feeling that if he was caught next time he wouldn't be so lucky but that was his nerves talking.

Elehna watched the male run away back to the Kingdom of Morlay, continuing to stroke Galathir. Her gaze followed him until he was out of site before turning to Rivera. Her free hand went to pull up her cloak hood as she went to put away her bow and arrow. Slowly she advanced towards her dear friend before setting a hand on her shoulder.

"Let us not threat about him. Come, sister... Let us walk back to the Castle. You are right, it is too late for us to be wondering the Kingdom."

Her voice was quiet and she seemed absent minded as she began to walk away from the edge of the village and towards the streets of the Kingdom. The male seemed to play on her mind. Something about him felt somewhat familiar and she somehow knew she'd meet him again. Shrugging off her thoughts, Elehna looked down as she walked besides her friend.

"You don't think my Father hired him, do you-" As the Princess began to question Rivera, she was suddenly interrupted by two guards heading their way urgently. One looked relieved whilst the other remained serious and slightly annoyed.

"Princess Elehna! Lady Rivera! There you are! The King has been worried sick!" One guard exclaimed, bowing as he approached both women. The other copied his action, remaining quiet. "He has sent most of his men out to search for you. I must insist that you return to the Castle immediately. The Kingdom is not safe for either of you to be out."

The Princess looked to Rivera, wondering if she'd take what the guard said to heart. She was always spoke of as some kind of royalty and she knew how much she hated it. Sighing, Elehna put on a small smile and nodded.

"Of course, I understand. We were just on our way back now. Forgive me, I did not realise what my actions had caused. Where is my father? I shall tell him to call off the search.." The redheaded elven female said as she began to walk back to the castle with Rivera.

"My Princess, your father has gone to Lyncon... He should be back soon. He has gone to settle a treaty. He shouldn't be too long." The guards voice sounded a little unsure as he explained the location of her Father. Both Guards followed the women from behind, keeping a close look out for anything suspicious.

Elehna's heart jumped a little at the thought of her Father going to Lyncon after so many rumours. Swallowing hard, she contained her worries and nodded firmly.

"Very well. If he is not back by dawn, I wish to travel to Lyncon myself." Her words were finally and that was that.

Locien continued to forge swords and axes and maces until he felt very bone tired for the night. Giving a sigh, he puts away his tools and shuts all the windows and covers them and lights a few candles near him. He then turns his gaze to the sword Ildhrenion claimed found near him when he was founded as a baby along with his dead mother on the border of Lyncon and Morlay. Curiously he picks up the blade and looks at it.

It was a splendidly beautiful blade, five runes ran down its length of silvery steel. The hilt of the sword was dark bluish in color adorned in pale white and sapphire pearls on several spots, he looked breifly at the pommel of the hilt to find an image of a howling wolf head imprinted on it. Pulling out a small necklace held together with A silvery chain, Locien looks at the pendant to find the same image on there. "What does this mean.... is it some sort of symbol for a clan? If so is there more of my family out there? Or am I the only one left.....Who am I? Where do I belong in the world?"

Ildhrenion watches his foster son ponder over the blade and the pendant and he thinks to himself, All things may be revealed to you in time my child. In time. Destiny will soon place you on the board. I have a feeling you will embrace it, and not show fear.

Rivera tried very hard to keep her temper. There was no need to worry as long as she was with Elehna. But then, when they said the King had gone to Lyncon, she exploded. "What? Why did he go there? And who went with him? Tell me!" The young guard flinched and immediately said, "Commander Huor Elendil, my Lady. He was...he was afriad they had taken the Princess." Rivera narrowed her eyes at him, and then sighed. "The King is ill at ease...but if Elendil is with him...then I should not worry." Though in reality, she was not happy. Just Elendil? He was one of the finest soliders in the army, that was for ure, but King Issac was not the man he once was...

Once they reached the castle, she bid the Princess goodnight, and set Galathir on guard to watch over her. She drew a guard aside. "I will be leaving for Lyncon immediately, tell no one." The gurad nodded, and within minuets she was on Lyon, her massive black horse. The steed took her swiftly to her destination and by the time she had gotten there, Prince Raziel was there with him. She slowed Lyon and kept her distance, waiting for them to finish.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Have no fear Sench! I'm still here!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Oh man. This post sucked, and it was so late... I'm not even sure any of you guys are still around. ((

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

OMG! I feel old....I'm 20 now. Yeesh. Aside from that...

So, you guys have always been here, even time after time I thought this role play was going to die. In that respect, my new role play has four slots left that must be taken, and an unlimited number of other slots. Anyone interested?

Fading Life: Reigning Chaos

Though be warned. This is a highly literate role play. I expect around five hundred words per post, and much detail. The character sheet is quite long.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

...You're not American? I love this site!!! You meet so many ppl! :D

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

I theorize that it has something to possibly do with the following.

1. School.

2. Finals.

That is all. :D

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

I don't suppose there's any point waiting for Evie to post, is there?

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

okay, I am SO sorry guys!! I've been really busy with other RPs, specifically my Soul Eater one, and a new one I joined called Taken for Granted which is extreamly demanding, as he wants 500 words per post, and I have two characters, so that's 1000 words per post, as well as school, and been busy with Thanksgiving break...I swear, I'm going to go post right now!! o_o;;

!EDIT!: Okay, I psted. It's short and crappy, but it's a post... -_-;;

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Anyone gonna post?

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

I'm having an odd Case of Writers block. I Know what I WANT to say or do, But I can't find the right words!!! T_T

EDIT: Wait never mind. I figured it out.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Do any of you three wanna play a male guy who's a famous singer/in a band type? I need one more person in this roleplay and don't know who else to ask...

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

OH dang! Nice outfit... Maybe I should find an upgrade for Loc now..... Maybe a new sword to replace his initial first blade.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Okie doke. Posted :) I really like the outfit I found XD

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Wow...that came out a little colder than I meant it too. Oh well, I still think it gets the point across.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Alright, gonna be making a profile for the 'Cloaked woman' soon, right when I think of a good name and Picture. -__-

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Yeah, Beleth being let out seemed pretty obvious from the begining...the fact that the Demon is female...not so much.

MY MIND HAS BEEN BLOWN.

Oh, and if anyof you would like to lurk, when I open chapter 2, there wil be four positions to fill, and chapter 1 is a complete hit at the moment, I'm so excited!! :D

roleplay/reapers-ch-1-the-awakening/

Really, I would just like some fedback on if any of you would like to se this published as a book. I really would like to get something published, that's why I spend so much time on this site. :)

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

Beleth being let out I would've seen coming... THE OTHER FACT..... >.> was unexpected.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

...seriously? I think that was pretty predictable.

Re: [OOC] War of Elves

O_O!!!!!!! Holy crap Beleth is out...... What's worse Beleth's a woman....... Who did not see that coming? *Raises hand*

EDIT: This twist scared the CRAP OUT OF ME!!! O_O.... Sench I applaud you for doing that.
