A walked through the school hallways, looking around at the passing students. It was a Monday, 3:31 to be precise, and the bell had just rang, signalling the end of class, and school. Most students were rushing out of the school, or shuffling through their lockers, but there were still the few dawdling around, just like A.
The first week back at school had been insane. Most of the students remembered the horrible events at the Back-To-School Party, which included a girl being shoved into a lake, a house and car caught on fire, a wrecked truck, and the most unsuspecting couple telling the school of their secret relationship. All because of A. The stickers she had placed all over the school were long gone, too, and had been since last Friday. When the Principal had checked the security cameras, he was shocked to see the wires cut. That had been her doing, too.
She had started texting a few of them last week, but that was only a handful of them. The rest of the school had looked on as the events unfolded, some of them blissfully unaware that next week, they, too, would be blackmailed.
A slipped her phone out of her bag, and immediately began texting. It wasn't as if it woud be suspicious or anyone looking at her, she was hardly the only person in the hallay with their phone out.

Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:
I know every single little detail about each and every one of you. And that includes your dirty little secret.
Or should I say secrets?
What's going to stop me from telling the whole school? Well, you are. I will set you a few... challenges to keep your secrets safe, and if you don't go along... there goes a secret. xxx - A

(Hi guys! So, see how that says All Contacts at the top? Good. Basically, that means that, for example, if Madison replied, then everyone, not just A would get the text.
Eg;
To: All Contacts.
A: Hey ppls.
Madison: Hello?
Carter: Wait, who are you?
Madison: I'm Madison
Carter: I wasn't talking to you.
A: I'm A.
See how everyone got the text? Exactly! :D Also, I just picked those people at random. Thanks for being such good examples, guys!
Oh, and sorry if I blab on. I'm tired. -_-
PS: Sorry if I forgot to tag you. I'm forgetful.
PPS: Sorry for the super long OOC post IC.)
Cheer leading bag in hand, Madison headed for the locker room. The craziness of the previous week had been on her mind for days. She couldn't wait for 'A's next task. In a way, this game was almost fun. It was a little strange of course, but the challenges kept things exciting.
Madison pulled out her phone again as she walked to the gym.

Amy attempted to shove her books back into her locker, which had fallen out as soonas she had opened the locker door. She glanced down at her phone as it alerted her to a new messgae, expecting to see another text from her friend Alexis, but instead seeing the word Unknown plastered across the screen. Amy frowned but pressd the open button.

Amy stared at the phone for a minute, shocked. No, it was just a joke... right? She gave an uneasy glance around at the passers by. Why had she gotten this, out of all the people in the hallway? Well, from the look of it, more than just her. But what did 'A' mean by Some of you already know me?
She tapped the reply button, and shakily typed in a response.
To: A (All Contacts)
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now?
Her shaky hand had made her type in two A's in stead of one, but Amy onlynoticed after she pressed send. She took a deep breath and picked up a book that had fallen on the ground, slipping it into her locker before closing it with a clang. She couldn't dwell on it, it wasn't like A actually knew her secrets, that was impossible.
She had surprisingly little homework - at least, for a Monday. Monday was the worst day for her; She had French, Maths, English, History, CSPE and Art. Well, art didn't give that much homework, but the rest of the classes did. Especially History, as Miss Tuberty hated her class, and Amy had found that she hated Amy especially. Perhaps it was Amy's laid-back nature in History. She didn't see the point of it. Like, maths and english were useful subjects, but history - they were all dead anyway.
Beep.
Expecting another text from A, she ignored the text. She arrived at the school doors when she reached into her bag, She was too impatient.
It wasn't from A, it must have been someone else she had texted though.
What's on the schedule for today?
Did that mean that that person believed A? I sounded almost like she knew A... was that what A had meant in her text?
She was disrupted from her thoughts by the excited squeal of her friend Alexis. Amy looked up to see Alexis squeezing Amy's arm. "What?" Amy hissed, half annoyed, half joking. "Look!" Alexis whispered, pointing.AMy followed her hand to see what she was looking at.
"He's the new kid, I think I heard his name was Cory, or Cody, or somethig like that anyway," Alexis continued. "Isn't he cute?"
Amy rolled her eyes. "Yeah. But he is also too old for you."
Alexis shook her head. "Only a year older. Not much of a difference," she disagreed. Amy laughed and slipped her phone back into her bag.

A smiled and started walking towards the school doors as she typed.
Not telling yet. You'll just have to wait an see. ;) - A
Just seconds after she pressed the send button, another text came through;
From: Amy
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now?
At this A did actually laugh out loud. Quietly, of course, but a few people passing by gave her some weird looks. She ignored them though, and ithout looking up from the phone screen, opened the schools double doors out into the smell of freshly mowed grass as the last of summer faded away.
Yuss, blackmail is illegal. But I don't think you want to tell the cops, honey. I'm sure they would be very interested to know some of your secrets. If I'm going down, I'm taking you all down with me ;) xxx - A.

Adriana never really worried about A's plans. They were just another challenge to her. Who really cared? She saw a couple of people and waved as she passed them. While walking She saw Madison , a friend of hers who was a fellow cheerleader.
"Hey Mads!" She said smiling brightly.
"Oh my god so I just saw Christopher" She sighed for emphasis "He's looking super hot lately"
SHe pulled out her phone.

"Hey girl!" Madison said with a smile as Adriana came up next to her. "I'm not feeling practice today." she said. Every day she hated going to practice, but then had a blast once she was there. Of course, it was all about attitude. Madison was a firm believer in the idea that if she wanted to have fun doing something, she would.
He slid his phone back in his pocket without replying. Madison and a girl who's name he thought was something like Adrian or Adrianna or Amelia or something like that were walking a few people in front of him. He swung his backpack onto his other shoulder as he caught up to them.
"Hey beautiful." He said as he swung an arm around Madison's shoulders. He knew she may or may not be dating that Chris guy, but she was still a good friend. He looked past her to the other girl and smiled. "I'm Cody by the way, most people just call me 'new guy' though."

Asajj Uzun could only wish she could sing along with the vicious shrieks that filled her ears accompanying Antischism's 'Scream'. Were she to make any such attempt, however, given the sheer intensity and aggression of the vocals, Asajj was well aware she would only end up shredding up her throat even more than it already was, and that wouldn't really do her much good. So she contented herself with mouthing along with the lyrics, which must have made her quite a spectacle to the people in the hallway she was walking across. The six foot three mutie chick, decked out in tattoos, leather and spikes, walking around moving her lips soundlessly. She could veritably feel their eyes following her form as she made her way through the hallway, destined to leave the school behind and return to the dingy little apartment she and she alone called home.
When she actually glanced around and saw what most people were doing, however, her eyes fell upon many cell phones, flipped open to the 'texting position', as Asajj recalled it referred to as, students hammering away rapidly at the keys. That's why I don't have a phone, she frowned--that is, the perpetual smile adorning her face lessened microscopically. Sometimes I wonder whether the person owns the phone, or if the cell phone owns them.... Well, there was that, and also the fact that if she did have a phone Asajj wouldn't have a damn person to communicate with. Not to mention those little miracles (or horrors, depending on your perspective) of modern technology didn't come cheap; to buy one would mean Asajj, being someone who couldn't even talk, would be spending inordinate amounts of precious money on what was, all things said and done, a device for talking.
As Asajj walked by another row of lockers, she noticed, in the gap between two rows, a sticker--her brow furrowed. One of the 'murderer' stickers from earlier in the month--this one must have been missed by the janitors who were tasked with removing them all. Asajj reached out, strong, tattooed fingers tearing the word from the wall and crumpling it up. And then the ball of paper sailed beautifully through the air in an excellently placed arc, landing squarely into the trash can. Asajj's smile widened satisfiedly.
'Murderer'...that had been a most unusual episode, a strange day when everyone arrived at school to find that word plastered just about every damn where across the school. Asajj for her part had nearly had a heart attack upon opening the two front doors and being faced immediately with that one chilling word. Murderer. It struck home quite quickly, and Asajj had nearly panicked before she realised that there was no possible way anyone here could possibly have known of that...of that much, she was certain...
The authorities did not know exactly who'd done it, but the word was already out amongst the students. Or rather, the letter--'A'. Someone--Asajj had heard them presumed to be a girl--who went about texting people threatening to reveal their secrets if they did not do as she demanded (side note, Asajj could now mark that off as another good reason not to own a cell phone...those things were way too damn easy to track and whatnot). It seemed like some innocent, if not mean-spirited, bit of fun for someone who was undoubtedly one of those gossip-obsessed cheerleader types, or so Asajj imagined. But A had gone much too far this month. Arson, vandalism, and unless the constant rumours going around the school were exaggerated, attempted murder in the form of drowning. And A kept right on sending out her challenges without a care. Malice for the sake of malice, malice as a result of a purely malicious basic nature--Asajj had encountered this many times when she had been weaker, naive and hopeful. She could only be glad that she was not involved in the insanity.
The silent Turkish woman walked onwards, passing by a group of girls, one of whom was swooning over someone named 'Christopher' so loudly it was clearly to be heard even over Asajj's music. She smiled in a friendly manner at the chatting girls even though she knew the result of that never really changed, and walked onwards until she was at last pushing open the double doors that led out to the front field of the school. Most people were gone, and those who weren't were obviously not hanging out at the forefront of the school, with the exception of one girl, eyes glued to her phone, who seemed to find something quite humourous in the screen. Her back was turned to Asajj, and so the mute girl obviously did not direct a smile towards her. She merely continued down the steps, destined perhaps to venture straight home...on the other hand, Asajj had no real desire to return home and loaf around completely alone. That was never any fun, not even with her music, and she'd already finished her latest book. Might as well head for the library and grab another. Entirely on her own, of course. But at least there would be other people at the library that acted both as a school book supply and local library. Even if she had never and could never speak to a single one of them...it was better than being completely alone.
Her mind having been thus changed, Asajj paused, and then turned to walk right back up the steps, well aware that people would probably think of her only all the more oddly for it.
She turned to Madison "SO about Chris" She paused to recollect her thoughts, "He's like so hot" she bit her lip, one of her many nervous habits. She could totally picture herself dating him. "I think I wanna ask him out" she sighed dramatically "But everyone says he's like not popular but I like him ALOT"
SHe knew how the school worked. Populars dated populars, Loners dated loners, Its how the school worked. She also knew 'A' would socially ruin her if they did date. She was totally nervous about asking too. She is so used to guys wanting her and having her pick of the litter. But he had shown no interest yet it drove her nuts.
"Wait," Madison said turning back to Adrianna. "Are you talking about Chris Dawson? About six feet, blonde hair?" My Chris? she thought. Not that he was actually hers in any way shape or form. In reality she didn't have the slightest clue where they stood.

Ariel's eyebrows knitted together in confusion as she tried to decipher this message. It had to be some sort of joke right? She had just gotten to this school and as far as she knew, nobody even knew her name, let alone her utmost personal and deep secrets. It couldn't be for real. But quickly a realization hit her, that maybe all those weird occurrences that she had seen so far at this school were connected to this... Suddenly interested, Ariel went through her other new texts which were in response to the last one.
What's on the schedule for today? one person had texted back to this mysterious 'A' figure as if this was all just an old drill.
Not telling yet. You'll just have to wait an see. ;) - A came the response from the same number that the original message was sent from.
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now? It was a good point. This had been going on for the past couple weeks, maybe longer, and it was a big deal too, it definitely had to be illegal in some way. Curious to see how A would respond to that retort, she flipped to the next message.
Yuss, blackmail is illegal. But I don't think you want to tell the cops, honey. I'm sure they would be very interested to know some of your secrets. If I'm going down, I'm taking you all down with me ;) xxx - A. Ariel felt her palms get sweaty and her heart pounded as she thought about how ruined her life would be if the cops knew even half her business. She definitely didn't want them to know she was illegally buying drugs. She also didn't want them to hear about the way her neighbor had been assaulting her, even if it meant they could help her. Nobody could know.
But somehow this A person did. How did that even work? It was very possible that she was just SAYING that she knew all their secrets and then having a good laugh when she watched them run around frantically over nothing. Before she even read the last message she pressed reply and quickly punched in a response.
How can I be so sure you're not just toying around? For all I know, you may just be saying that you know everything to see what I'll do.
She sent the text before sliding her phone back into her jeans. She leaned back on her elbows and sighed, watching people socialize in the parking lot as she waited for her neighbor to get outside already.
He was interested to hear her answer as to whether or not they were dating. They had announced that they were secretly dating at the party, but based on everyone else's reactions it seemed to be almost impossible.
((the radio thing was clever, did you come up with that all by yourself ;) ))
"See you later Cody." she said as they reached the locker rooms. She pushed open the door and walked in, holding it open behind her for Adrianna. She threw her bag on a bench and opened the zipper, pulling out her clothes.
((Nah, some loser made it up... --and I don't know where Chris and Madison are going to pick up, they were pretending to be dating in the last one, but happyface hasn't messaged me back so I'm not sure what's going on in this one yet so I just kind of had her avoid the question for now haha))
{I wasn't in the last one so I wasn't sure}
Adriana felt bad enough about thinking she had a chance. Besides any guy would choose Mads over her. She was naturally skinny and pretty and perfect. She reached oin her bag and pulled out a water bottle. She poured wine in one bottle and water in the other. Because it was wine it only smelled like grape juice and was easy to hide. SHe just tole everybody she was on a cleanse. The truth was she wasn't eating so she could lose weight.

Alex stood in place of his locker reading the message. What kind of joke is this he thought. Secret? What se... Alex's hand trembled for a split second. It cant be.... Thinking for a few seconds, he laughed it off. "What a bunch of bull" he said in a low voice. He placed his phone back into his pocket, and grabbed his book's for the few things he had for homework and slammed his locker shut. After that, his phone started to ring and beep with a few of the contacts that the head message was sent to responded. Some replied for orders, while others threatened to call the police. Slowly, Alex started to feel like he was in some deep trouble. Alex looked around, to maybe see some of his "buddies" from the hockey team pulling a prank on him, but he only noticed a few familiar faces from his class, no one he would think had a grudge on him. As he started to mindlessly walk towards practice another message rang.
"How can I be so sure you're not just toying around? For all I know, you may just be saying that you know everything to see what I'll do." replied an unknown contact. Alex smiled. Exactly he thought. Alex decided to respond also. "I agree with whoever just said that. What a bunch of bull. How about saying you know my secret to my face?" Alex didnt really like sounding like a badass but he had to make sure this was just a prank. He fixed his backpack strap and made his way down the hallway to the rink.
"I don't know, I thought I saw you with some guy over the weekend." Madison said as she pulled a pristine white tank top over her head. "I guess it wasn't you though." Once she had on her tank top and bright blue sophie shorts Madison threw her bag in one of the lockers.
A few of the other girls were in the room getting changed by now too. There had been so many of them at tryouts this year, it was crazy.
Carter stared at the clcok watching the minutes tick by until class ended. Each second seemed like hours, maybe even days. Each word the teacher said she wasn't taking in, and couldn't pay attention for over 5 seconds. She just kept drawing the same thing over and over again in the first page of her notebook. She girl crying, over the course of the day she drew that girl about 10 times. She make sure to include each feature of her from the circles under her eyes to each freckle on her face. The person that Carter was drawing was Carter. Carter when she is away form everyone else. Carter at home in a conorner, maybe even with a blade to her wrist.
Finally the bell rang after the class period that lasted hours. Carter plulled down her long sleeve shirt to make sure it covered her wrists then picked up her books. After doing that she ran out of the class room, dodging some people. Once out of the class room she looked around at all the people. She felt uncomfortable and most likely looked like it took. She hated seeing everyone be so happy, laughing and having a good time when she is haunted by memories everyday of her life. It drove her crazy seeing everyone around her, she knew she had to get home, go to her room and make her marks in her skin.
She fast walked, or maybe it really was running to her locker. Her hands shook as she got out her back and slipped her books into it. After she had put her bag over her sholder she just stared at her locker. She put her hand on the door and the coolness reminded her that she was still on earth. That she was stilll okay. It was taking all she had not to have a break-down in the middle of the hallway in school.
She sighed then shut her door and turned to face everyone in the hall. There talking had now became to much for her, and right before she was about to run to the door her phone beeped.

"Who the hell," Carter wispered as she looked around the hallway. There where a lot of people texting and looking at there phones it could have been anyone. She all of a sudden felkt hot, very hot. She took a few deep breathes then though to herself, this is just some trick. It clamed her a little and enough to text back:
Who the hell are you? You don't scare me.
She looked around to see if anyones phone beeped. Several people's phone did beep. It was to much being in there so Carter started making her way to the door. Then she looked at some more of her texts from people she didn't know texting A back.
"Anyway I promise if you like Chris I will step aside, I pinkie promise." She said holding out her pinkie, she has known Mads since they were five. They and Emanuella were the cutest girls ever. SO they soon became best friends, they became cheerleaders in junior high and high school together. They always stuck together. Honestly she would be popular but not as popular as she is now without them. Mads had the skinny graceful body and exotic features, Lina was the fiery latina with the adorable face, and she had the long legs and model features (ie. pouty lips, bright eyes, clear skin, etc). They made the perfect trio. They always had and probably always will. And no guy was worth risking that.
"Dude," the tall, dark haired boy said as he threw his bag down on the floor, "please tell me you're hittin that." Cody rolled his eyes. All Zach ever thought about was girls. Not just girls though, it was more specific than that. All he ever thought about was sleeping with girls.
"Nope." Cody said. He pulled some of his gear on as Zach shook his head disapprovingly.
A devilish grin spread across Zach's face as he looked back up at Cody. "If that were me man, unf" he said. The last part was just a grunt, but its message was crystal clear. "Really though, how'd you even pull that off? I've gone to school here for years and the only reason that girl talks to me is because the jocks and the cheerleaders are automatic friends."
Cody shrugged, "I am the quarterback after all. That would make us automatic friends."
"You're missing my point." Zach said. By then the locker room was nearly full. Most of the team was already done changing and on their way out to the field. "I'll explain it to you some time." he added before hitting Cody's shoulder pads and walking out.
She quickly ran to the water fountain. Then stopped by her locker took a quick sip of wine, applied lip gloss, and applied her "neutral face" pouty lips, drsleepy eyes, and occasionally raising her already perfectly arched eyebrows. She walked back and smiled "Lets hit the fields" She said a mischief grin on her face.
If you cant make them shut the hell up you can persuade 'A' to do it.
She picked up her phone.

Aether's black pick up swooned into the Makenzie Prep parking lot. Parking it, he almost hated himself. Why couldn't he have gotten stuck in traffic? Why couldn't he have just two more minutes to relish this last song, "Funny How Time Slips Away" by Willie Nelson? Ah fuck it, might as well just light up and listen. Grabbing an unfinished cigar from the ashtray, he lit up and began puffing. Nobody gave a damn if he smoked. Even when it was reefer, nobody gave a damn. Not the cops, not the teachers, not the parents. Story of his life. Out in the middle of daylight and he was still in the shadows.
"I've got history and writing today?" He asked himself, pulling down his visor and checking his schedule.
"Dammit, math and science!" Aether had an almost good enough mind to high tail it out of Dodge, but he wasn't gonna. He went to school and stayed to school to get out someday.
"Least I got art at the end of the day..."
Just then, Aether's phone buzzed in his black jean pocket. Another gift from his uncle. Pulling it out, he took one last drag on the cigar and put it out for later.

Followed by a myriad of other texts, probably from different people.
The last one was interesting...
Who the hell are you? You don't scare me.
Must be a girl. Only girls proclaim they aren't scared. Men just punch you or go home crying to their moms.
Aether took a long, warm sip of coffee before adding his two-cents in.
Just shut up and tell us what the hell you want.
He slid his phone down his right front pocket, grabbed his coffee, shut the truck door and kep' walking towards the school entrance. With each step, a loud clang of his spurs announced his arrival, yet still no one cared.
Aether had special privilege to use the janitor entrance (on account of his father being a fallen comrade of the chief janitor, Mr. Peabody). He snuck through the dumpsters and in through the unlocked door into the janitor "closet".
He waved a good morning to Peabody, and surged his way through to the hallway, picking up one of the doughnuts on the janitors' desk on his way.
As he walked out into the hallway, he heard Peabody yell, "You're late by at least an hour."
"Really?!" Aether yelled back.
"Yeah, bucko!"
"Sweet! Missed math."
"You never grow up, do you?" Peabody asked, laughing thunderously.

Her reply could wait. She grabbed her stuff and heade to the computer lab. The yearbook staff worked on photos there, so the software for photo editing was amazing. Once in the lab, she replied to A.
Listen up. I'm not going to be yanked around like a puppet. Tell me what you want or fuck off.
Annabell wasn't having a good day and that text had made it worse. She was dying to see what A had in store today.
A grinned as a flood of texts came through. She opened them as she walked, turning the corner away from the school.

A replied almost instantly, turning another corner as she did so.

Hi A its me, so I need a favor. I need you to help me make blabbermouth zach shut up. I'll do whatever you want in return.
A didn't even bother replying, she had just arrived at her destination. She slipped her phone in her pocket, and lookedup at the tall building. Glancing around at the nearby people, she made her way around to the back of the building, where she began to scale the pipe. Alot of effort, maybe, but as far as A was concerned, it was kind of fun. She had always loved climbing, even if this was especially difficult. Besides, there was no way she was letting this 'victim' get away.
In the perspiration of one of the windows -- I think it's called that -- she wrote:
I know what you did. Watch Your Back. - A
She slipped down the pipe, admiring the message from below, on the kitchen window of the 'victim,' before strolling around to the front of the building. At least she did't have to worry about the girl catching her, she was aware that she was heading to the library. Even if she cameback now, she still wouldn't have spotted A, as she was already at her front door.
The message was to Asajj Uzun.
Amy gave a smile to the formidable looking girl as she passed. Her phone beeped alot of tims, too many to keep count, alerting her that she had new messages. Alexis raised an eyebrow. "Someone's popular," she commented, giving Amy a cheeky grin. AMy laughed. "No it's not like-"
"Like what? Anyway, should I go over and talk to him?"
"To wh-"
"Y'know, Cody. He's new, he might want some help and stuff."
Amy glanced over at the new boy, and rolled her eyes. "That group of cheerleaders already has it covered," she said with a grin.
Alexis sighed. "How am I supposed to compete with them? And where is Emmalina?" The three girls were practically royalty in Makenzie Prep, and everyone knew they were inseperable.
Amy shrugged. "Who cares? I just wanna' get home, and eat," she replied, tugging on Alexis's arm. Alexis laughed but followed her out, but not before saying, "Of course you want to eat something." Amy frowned. "What does that mean?" she asked, trying to keep the hurt from her voice. Alexis noticed her friends worried expression, and rolled her eyes. "It was a joke! Relax, you're as skinny as a stick!" she grinned, this time the one pulling her friend along. "C'mon!"
Amy followed, but couldn't shake the feeling that her friend thought she was fat. She glanced down at her body. Was she? No...
A few minutes later, she pulls in to the parking lot and into the spot next to all her friends. "Great,i'm late." She grabbed the keys to her bike before running inside. Once she got inside her phone started to viberate, with an unknown number. Reading the text, she swallowed the knot in her throat praying it was a joke. She pushed the reply button .

She put her phone away and ran to her room, she smiled seeing a few of her friends. She exhaled knowing she just made it. "Hey mads, sorry i'm late. So where's Adriana?"
