Even the pianist had been given a break from the groom, and now in front of all these strangers was a lonely woman standing only twenty feet away from the minister.
"What is going-" Summer didn't have to finish the sentence, she already knew what was going on. He had backed out and left her at the alter.
"Why- What should I do?" Tears grew inside her green hazel eyes, but she wiped them away. She was not going to let anyone see her cry, not a bunch of woman and men about to get married.
"How could he." It came out as a whisper when it was only suppose to come as a thought that no one else heard.
Summer looked around to see mostly teen pregnancies and drunks. And then there was her, a twenty-two head strong woman standing alone, no one standing waiting to take her head for marriage.
They had been together for almost four years. David was Twenty-four and had promised Summer marriage, of course everyone wanted to make a huge deal of the famous actor David Hurt getting married to a nobody. It had been all over the tabloids, it took them six months to get Summer's name right. But Summer and David didn't believe in huge weddings so they had planned to elope without a word of it getting out. But at last minute(literally) another woman had met David a French model known world wide. And that couple sounded a lot better to David than him and a nobody.
Summer ran out of the chapel in the white wedding dress she had saved two paychecks in buying. A cab was waved down as black massacre ran down the sides of her cheeks. Before she could get used to the Arabic drivers thick accent she was at Hotel Zest, a pricey hotel that David had rented for the occasion. Luckily for Summer the paparazzi hadn't got news of the elopement so no one was crowding around ready for pictures.
She ran to the elevator, and pressed the thirty-second floor button continuous making sure no one else joined the elevator, telling them there was no room. This caused her to look like a bitch being that no one knew what had just happened.
Just wanting to throw off the dress and lay in bed and let out every feeling she had in her. And of course wanting to rip apart every belonging of David's as soon as possible. The thought finally hit her.
"What if David is already here, and has kicked me out?" Summer thought out loud again.
As the elevator stopped on the last floor, Summer ran all the way to the last room on the right and stood in horror to see a sticky note.
"Enjoy your stay. -D"
"That son of a bitch!" Summer screamed at the top of her lungs not thinking of the 100s that may be staying in rooms near by. She went to grab her key card when it hit her, she didn't have the card, she was in a ridiculous wedding dress. "For God's sake!" Again she screamed.
She smacked her head against the door and slid down, as she hit the door, it opened with grace. This action made her cry.
Summer didn't even make it to the bed as soon as she crawled on the floor she kicked the door closed and cried.
The sun shinned through the window hitting Summer in the face. Her tears on the make-up made her eyes hard to open. It was not the sun in the face of the crust enclosing on her eyes, it was the annoying phone ring that awoke Summer.
She rolled around on the ground as she finally got to the end table and answered the phone.
"What!" Summer was bitter.
"Hmm. Yes, Miss Banks is it?" His voice was thick and strong.
"Yea."
"It is check out time."
"Of course it is." Summer looked around the room half asleep, it was a mess. Her clothes were all over the place with her make-up.
"Are you staying another night?"
"Who is the card under?" She had an evil plan.
"It is under your name, that's how I knew it was you." He talked slow as if she was slow in the head.
"That cock sucker." Summer sighed.
"Excuse me?" He sounded hurt.
"Fuck me sideway with a mother hacksaw." The phrase made no sense to either the man on the phone or Summer, it was just when she looked in her wallet which was on the end table she found she didn't have her credit cards.
Before Summer ran off with David she figured that she wouldn't need money because of his wealth so she had cancelled all cards.
"I have no money." She said it more to herself than to the phone.
"Then you are leaving?"
"Shit! I have no money!" It finally hit her, she had no money to make it home.
As she talked to the owner she found herself taking a job waiting tables in the bar. She had free home but she could only keep 10% of her tips and had to desize her room. It was going to take a while to get home she thought as she hung up.
"What a great wedding." Summer cried again on the soft bed.

She looked around to see lots of unhappy people in the lobby. From, angry woman at husbands that had bet years of saving on gambling, hungover men crying in their hands to due the news of a new STD they required from the night before, all the way back to the woman who was left at the alter. Then only thing that made her feel better about herself was the fact that no one was there to see this. except her.
The pain still hung in her chest, how could he have just left her, with no warning or money to get home? The thoughts grew more and more heart breaking.
"I really need a drink." She said.
Summer walked to the double doors to see that the bar didn't open until five.
"Of course." She spoke as she looked at the clock, to see it was only eleven.
"Fuck." Tears slid down her face, but she wiped them off with the back of her hand.

Lynxx found a bottle of water in her bsg and took a gulp. "Awe fuck!" Yhe pure see through spirit squirted out her mouth it was bloody vodka not water at all. "For fuck sake!" Lynxx let the music fpow through her distracting her from her troubles making her smile. Musis is for life and life is for music. She had always said that but tight then.she really mesnt it.
"I'm sorry." She put her arms up and shook her hand. But she couldn't stop laughing, it wasn't even that funny but with the night she had before had been so stressful and pathetic that she just kept laughing louder.
She finally calmed down when the owner came over and put his hand on her shoulder.
He was a six foot four steady man with brown wavy hair that sat on his head, his eyes were a shade of masculine blue. Summer only knew it was the owner because on his tag it said his name, Hamlet Dennis, and David had told her about him.
"Ma'am, will you please, this is a Hotel not a comedy club." Summer just stared he was very handsome.

"Well we both were pretty hammered" He laughed sitting up and rubbing the back of his neck watching her stand up and slip on his shirt which came down to her knees. "Umm I'm sorry what's your name again?" she asked and he just chuckled as he noticed her eyes grazing his biceps and abs true muscle from manual labor.
"Check your left hip" He smirked and she lifted the shirt tail up only to gasp again, right there in black swirly cursive said "Tucker's Bride Forever" "Holy SHit!" she said it hurt and she looked at him "Ummm do you..." "Yeah I got one" Tucker said and turned so she could see his shoulder blade that said Kimmi's Groom Forever" she smacked her forehead before plopping down on the bed "Shit what are we gonna do" she said and he just leaned over and kissed her "I know what I wanna do...."

A handsome blonde staggered into the lobby it was who Lynxx kicked out this morning he had found clothes which made her sigh. He walked over to Lynxx trying to impress her again. "Hey babe we got off on the wrong foot this morning let me try again.." He sat next to her and tried to kiss her she let him as she was bored and slightly hungover. His hands were all over her she was clearly letting him being small or not she could easily get rid of him if she wanted. After a few minutes she ran her hand up his spine up to his head her fist closed on a load of hair and she yanked his head back. "Times up..Babe." He moaned in pain. She threw him into the otherside of the sofa. "See you tonight babe?" He asked hopefully. "Sorry sweetheart but this fitty is reserved.".He called her a prositute under his breath and his face met her fist. "Ha you'll be lucky to even get a guy when that bruises." She growled his nose bled she laughed and he stormed off ignorantly.

But as she grabbed her head and looked at them once over she had found that they were stranger, she had just rammed into. Summer was so thankful she hugged them both and smiled like a crack pot woman. It wasn't only a minute before Summer realized what kind of crazy person she must have looked like.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry." Summer gripped her hair as she spoke.
"I thought- I mean I didn't- what I'm trying to say is- I am sorry. It's been a rough night." Summer stuttered over her words until she got the right words out. Her stomach growled to make the moment even more awkward for all of them.
As they stared eye-wide she just prayed they weren't the kind to read the tabloids and really begged God not to notice who she was.
As they walked to to the man's truck she watched how sweet the man was, they must have been on their honeymoon, Summer thought, as the man helped the young woman in the truck. And while they drove she noticed how he held her hand, it was like how Summer had planned her and David's honeymoon, only with less pictures and screaming fans.
And at that moment she found herself a little happy that they didn't marry, but then rethinking of it, it made her horribly sad. A
They made it to the restaurant making Summer to cheer up, she didn't want to make things any worse.

Four years ago the same question was rose up between twenty people shouting at her. None of them knew who she was, and none of them probably really cared. All that matter was who David was sleeping with, not so much who she was. Summer was hung around David's arm like a scared child. She tried to smile and wave and when the question finally did pop up after four months she was thrilled.
"It's Summer Banks." She said, coming back to the present day. Summer reached out her hand to shake Tucker's. "And yours?"
