most wanted/suggested roles for potential characters

THE MAYOR’S KID: This character’s parent is the mayor of Oakville. They have access to documentation that may shed some light on what’s happening, and may find themselves in a possible leadership position.
THE MEDIC: A character with somewhat of a medical background/interest (applied to med school?) who is interested in learning more so that they can help their peers.
THE SCIENTIST: Someone has to find out what happened to the kids, as well as their loved ones they’ve lost contact with. With their intelligence and creativity, this student is the most likely to find answers.
THE ORTHODOX: Someone who feels a deep connection with God and has taken over Sunday church services.
THE STORE EMPLOYEE: Someone who worked part-time at the largest Mom and Pop convenience store in town. They could be simply an employee, or be the child of the owners.
THE SEER: This person has hallucinations, sometimes seeing clear curtains and heat waves, or hearing loud tones nobody else seems to be able to. They often experience deja vu. They think they might be losing their mind, but is there more to it than that?
THE NEW KID: While most of the kids in Oakville grew up together, this person only moved to town in the past year. They aren’t as familiar with the town or its residents, and may have a different home in mind to get back to.
THE NATURALIST: This person has spent most of their life in and surrounded by the outdoors. While most of the kids are terrified of the new intimidating, looming forest surrounding Oakville this person's knowledge of survival leads them to discover what the forest holds.
THE ENFORCER: This person could possibly be the child of the town's sheriff or simply a star athlete. Their physical prowess/knowledge of justice leads them to enforce the peace. But perhaps they might take their newfound role a little far?
