Currency and Economy

The currency of the realm is centered around three metals: Copper, Silver, and Gold. And for the sake of this RP, it's literally going to be this simple:

1 Copper is essentially the equivalent of $1 USD.

1 Silver is worth 100 Copper, or $100 USD.

1 Gold is worth 25 Silver, or $2,500 USD.

There is a continent-wide standard on prices of material goods which, thanks to the agreements between rulers, remains fixed.

For example, these prices are the same everywhere:

* 1 Apple = 1 Copper
* 1 Fox Fur Coat = 24 Copper
* 1 Wolf Fur Coat = 35 Copper
* 1 Horse (Foal) = 1,000 Copper
* 1 Horse (adult) = 4,000 Copper
* 1 House (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) = 44,000 Copper
* 1 House (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom) = 67,000 Copper

These are just a few examples, and if you want to know how much something would cost, please ask me and we will discuss it! There are taxes being levied on the people of each nation (save Gweynura), but because of how easily they can complicate things I've chosen to remove them as a factor from the RP.

I want this RP's economy to be as simple as possible when it comes to monetary transactions our characters will inevitably take. So just keep these kinds of price ratios in mind and discuss with me if you want to have your character purchase something along the way and we'll figure out its cost together!
