Chapter 1~Dawn
Long long ago, the Greats Lands were ruled by Misery, an evil Deity that brings only suffering to the people. However, despite the people’s content, nothing could be done because of the great power the evil held. Five brave warriors, The Tiger, The Snake, The Wolf, The Hawk and The Rabbit took the task to their hands and set out on a journey to defeat Misery behind the Seventh Gate to Hell where he had hid. They defeated him and sealed him in the center of the Great Lands, a city now called Ithilia, with their weapons and blood. The Great Lands were divided into Five, one for each of the Royal Five to rule. The Center, sealing place of Misery, was given to the Wolf to guard.
However, Peace was not forever. Soon, the children of the Royal Five felling into the lure of riches and power. Battles broke out across the nation. The Great Lands were dotted with eras of peace and war. Around one hundred years ago, the uneasy peace was broken again when the Wolf wanted to take over the South, home to the important Life Fruit. The small nation, without much money or power, retaliated by asking the other three nations for help. None of the others could let the Central Nation take the South. Losing the battle, the Wolf was banished from its own kingdom and thus left the Royal Four.
Now, their children and knights have gathered at Ithilia to be schooled and readied for a tournament at the end of the school year. The winner of the Tournament would obtain the Central Lands originally contracted to the Tiger and Hawk.
All is going well as the students arrived at the Opening Ceremony where they mingled and chatted. Not long into the night, shadows, ones that are loyal to Misery and its mighty powers, had ambushed the halls. Through fighting, none of the Royal Four was taken except for the Rabbit. In their hideout, the Southern Princess had discovered the horrid truth that Misery’s servants had already possessed the Dagger of the Wolf during the chaotic war a hundred years ago. Now he is after the other four to release Misery from its seal.
What new horrors would the first day of school bring? Why did Misery’s Servants release the Princess without harm? How is Misery planning to be freed? Who will win the tournament and gain the central lands? Stay tuned to Diplomacy…
