Female # 1: She's a curious and risk-taking human. He's a handsome and elegant vampire. They are both in love.

Male # 1: He's a strong and loving human. She's a playful and protective werewolf. They are both in love.

Female # 2: She's a stylish and free-spirited human. He's a muscular and hot-tempered demon. They are both in love.

Male # 2: He's a sweet and sensitive human. She's an intelligent and talented witch. They are both in love.

There is a town in Maine; a town so rounded by woods and lakes. In this town lie four friends; friends who have been friends for a long time to come. But now; each friend is dating a supernatural creature. A vampire, a werewolf, a demon, and a witch. Whether it's been for years, months, or even weeks these four friends keep the secret of their paranormal loves and the creatures put up with eachother for the love of their mortal lovers. Each pair has a special relationship; and the bond between them is as strong as latex.

But deep in the underworld; a war has been declared. All races are now against eachother; killing any other race they see in their midst. As the war moves to the mortal world; and as the news reaches these four creatures, they must decide if they will join or resist. The risk of having their loved ones killed becomes apparent; and not only do the creatures need to choose a side, but so do their mates.

Will this war break up these four friends? Will death consume? Or will they run away and go into hiding to save their relationships and their friends?

It's time to write this story.

1. Where in the Mortal world is this battle fought, or is it throughout the entire Earth?

2. Do all Mortals know about this battle?

3. How did the underworld creature get to the mortal world? A portal? A rift?

@Sirpokealot: Love the username. Now to answer your questions:

1. Throughout the entire earth. But relatives of each creature come to warn them of the war later in the story when the war reaches the mortal world.

2. No. Only mortals that are friends/lovers of supernatural creatures. So not all mortals know of the war that's beginning.

3. A portal. There are several portals throughout the underworld that lead to the mortal world, as well as in the mortal world to the underworld.
