For the writers, I would do the battles like the RHG (Rock Hard Gladiators) Tournament. (If you don't know, look it up.) Each contestant would type up a battle using all the players involved, and the contestant would have the battle win in his/her favor. If it is a team battle, then the members of each team would make a collaborate post. Any user can challenge another, and you have the right to decline said challenge.
After the posts are made, they are put up here to be examined, and the best post would win the battle! Users outside this Roleplay are allowed to vote as well as those inside the Roleplay but not participating. Yes, you control the opponent's character, but you must try to get their character spot on.
Each contestant can be restricted in many ways (not too much, however). No skills, lower speed stat, etc. Users are allowed to challenge contestants at certain times in the Roleplay, as in a Chapter 2 Version of Kahlan vs a Chapter 3 version of Refa. Each contestant would have their respective equipment at the majority of the time in the chapter (in case there was an equipment switch).
Yes, there can be mirror matches, but the challenger must use another time-period version or a doppleganger enemy (like the Santa Clause in Chapter 3.). Even then, you must control the character the way he/she would normally act (no Marius mirror-match in which one Marius is like Refa while the other acts like who he is.)
You can also have a situation to put the characters in (like a volcano, or a doppleganger battle). Yes, both versions can be the same situation and setting or it may be completely different. It's your choice.
Finally, have fun, and be creative! :D[/b]
