Personality:

Gir is a laid-back father who enjoys teasing and picking on his wife and kids. He pushes his kids to strive for excellence but also wants them to have fun. He loves teaching people and torturing them along the way, making up ridiculous training exercises. He respects woman and holds them in high regard and is a classy Japanese man filled with diligence, pride, honor, skill, and determination. He's had to learn willpower the hard way due to his Alpha Stigma, if he did not have a strong conscience, he would have killed himself for the better of the people.

He keeps true to his promises, highly confident, and has true strength and will-power. A lot of Sagas philosophies were learned by this guy right here, however, Saga can't seem to get the "making up excuses is no good!" philosophy down. Gir hopes Saga learns this and works through it, even if its the hard way. he cherishes Aya to no end and sees her as his baby girl, but even he thinks she should loosen up a little bit. It's not cute when he picks on her and she walks off annoyed. She needs to learn to take a joke and relax.

History:

Gir grew up in a strict household so his life was a bit boring. He was an average guy in high school, but a lot of girls liked him. However, his background history is actually very dark. He lived in a household where he thought he was blood-related to his parents. At night, he would have nightmares of killing his parents, but they didn't look anything like who his 'parents' were now. The mother had silky black hair and pale white skin, while the father resembled him completely. In his nightmares, it would always start off with his parents arguing over who was going to kill them. the father would convince her that they would keep the child alive, that he wasn't a monster. But the next thing he knew, everything was black. He was calling out to his parents, crying about how scared he was, a scary voice was calling to him. Telling him to destroy everything. Finally, his parents had appeared but just as quick did they disappear. Blood splattered everywhere, his eyes turned red, a demonic sigil shining in his eyes. When he awoke, he was in sweats and fear. Everything felt so real. It wasn't till after he was sought by a wizard to train him that his 'parents' told him the truth.

They wern't his real parents. He had killed them, he had lost it and given in to the Alpha Stigmas voice of destruction. He had killed an entire small town. he was forced to go move with them, close friends who lived far away from the village where the rumors wouldn't reach. During his training with his teacher, he had killed him. More baggage. He stayed out there longer till he felt that he could control it completely, filled with guilt. The only thing that kept him from losing control, was his wife.

It wasn’t till college that he met who he would marry. Before he had been called out by the wizard, he had met this girl. Oh, this girl. When he was absent from class or late because he had to work to support himself, she would take notes for him and save him a spot. He fell in love with that gentle side of her. He worked with hauling fish around while juggling college classes and samurai sword training. At his return, she greeted him happily with a hug and kiss. He felt reassured to see her beautiful face again but was still a bit scared he would hurt her. It had taken him three years to master it before he could come back home. He had learned ¾ of all the magic in the world, or at least how to do them. Remembering them was a different story. However, because of his control of his ability, he could copy anyone’s magic attack or analyze barriers/binding spells and figure out their weaknesses/strengths.

His work as a wizard has lowered since he settled down and lost feeling in his legs. While on a mission, he was injured fatally. He had been attacked while sleeping. He had to retire from Nippons military and become a teacher. From time to time, he still helps out with things though. It’s not like you NEED your legs for magic, but it does make things more difficult.

At the birth of his kids, he was extremely worried they would bare what he had. The first time he had noticed the eyes in his son, was when a group of bandits had attacked the village and a friend of his died. He snapped, and killed every bandit. Giruvegan couldn't do anything to stop it, it was all so fast. When his son turned around after killing the bandits, he was about to kill them as well. He sealed his sons powers, a few deaths being a causality as his spell took longer then usual. he had to use a Sigil to make sure it would last. Everyone in the village understood, the grudges were little. And those who couldn't get over it, moved away to keep the peace. When his son awoke, he remembered nothing. Giruvegan knew the day would come when he would have to tell his son the truth, just like his 'parents' had with him. To this day, he is worried if his son will be able to fight the voice. His will is already weak. One thing he is relieved about, is that Aya was spared.

Shou…is a Cam-whore. He can't hold his liquor to save his life and has almost got into a wreck in a taxi. A lot of people were worried about it but he just laughed about it. Shou is clumsy and tends to hurt himself a lot somehow. He' also very shy, causing him to mess up on a lot of words. As big as his clumsy nature is, he is actually quite good at cutting hair and modeled a couple times. However, his career in modeling was short.

Shou loves to play with his band-mates hair and harass Saga to relieve stress. He doesn’t go anywhere without his ipod and/or PSP. He LOVES video games. He is terribly terrified of cucumbers, says their disgusting. He hates it when people don't give up their seats to those who need it more on the train and when girl put make-up on in the train. He can’t stand waiting for others, and has decided if the world were to end, he would sleep the day before. Recently, from being in the studio so long, he has lost weight. He was all proud of losing weight, but the fans were upset. So the next day he ate chocolate for them. Something that makes his heart flutter? Would be when a girl is stepped on by someone.

Shou moved to Nippon village when he was 1 year old. His first instrument he ever played was guitar. Later on, he took up vocal. He met Nao and Tora in middle school, the three of them just clicked. They all got interested in music around the same time. It wasn’t till high school that he met Hiroto and Saga. They just sort of joined the group; no one knows how it really happened. When they all realized that they loved music, they decided to make a band and were actually quite good at it. The group decided to nickname Shou, 将 which literally means commander, general, leader He used to skip high school to practice with the band and go to their secret hide-out in the woods called number-six. His favorite subject in school is Japanese. His least favorite is Math.

When he first met Aya, his reaction was similar to Toras. He wasn’t irritated as much as just, surprised. Saga was so out-going and laid-back, he expected his sister to be a jokester. Surprisingly, Shou and Aya got along well though. His gentle nature clicked well with Aya so she treated him nicely. She could tell he was a hard-worker, and she admired the entire group for wanting to chase after their dreams. She classifies him, Hiroto, and Tora into the shy club with her. She can relate to everyone but Nao, they always joke around that he is the odd-one out and hated by Aya.

Hiroto loves everything about the stars; he finds them beautiful and feels that looking upon them can brighten up a person spirit. He still remembers, one time he had invited Aya to go out star-watching with him. She had been in pretty low spirits that day, and he wanted to cheer her up. He felt his heart flutter when she smiled, it looked like she was about to cry. He wrapped her in a hug and she didn’t push him away like she always did. After that they had become pretty close, and developed a little crush on each other. Out of all the boys, Aya is the nicest and closest to him~ They both are the shortest in the group, but he is still taller than her which makes him happy<3

He met Saga in high school, they had art class together. Both of them just clicked with one another and whenever Saga went to go wreak havoc, Hiroto was right behind him. When they joined in with the other guys, the teachers had (5) trouble makers to deal with! He heard once that a teacher said that they didn’t care about their students, and that broke his heart. He really holds teachers highly of teachers. Due to a Diablo invasion one of his friends had died in high school. A year later, the same thing had happened to him. His family and friends had been killed and he was heart broken. He was too beat down to apply into Ryder Academy, and said maybe he’d come in later in the year or next year. Saga enrolled for him and himself, Hiroto was honestly touched. His heart nearly shattered when Aya was going as well. He didn’t confess to her because he didn’t have enough guts, or feel like he was strong enough right now. He wished her off for now, sending her off with a kiss on the forehead. She didn’t say anything, but he could see she was blushing. He would hang onto that image.

Aya describes as: Strange, annoying, and an alien from another planet. He is plague number one. Nao is everything that Aya hates in a person. He mostly write about food in his blog, loves Gundam, is obsessed with Monster Hunter, hates fish, and hides behind his drumset. He complains a lot about being fat, and Aya senses some jealousy towards Saga who eats more and is so skinny (he's complained about it on multiple occasions) and Hiroto who is on a mission to gain more weight but can’t. He LOVES talking about food and coffee and takes pictures of it, he never shuts up about it and tries to make Aya drink and eat weird things. He insists on buying her Japanese candy as treaty gifts. She accepts the gift but not the treaty portion. Nao knows Aya adores pocky and hopes one day she will be so happy and filled with pocky that she will love him. He also likes to read manga and recently found Slam Dunk addicting. Likes to put drawings of Radish-san on his blogs.

Nao also has strange abilities. He can tie a cherry stem into a knot in his mouth, has a futon named "marie-chan", and is amazing at Jan, ken, pon. Shou was the Sadist King of the game but nao beat him! He’s also afraid of getting sick. Nao met Saga and Hiroto in highschool, along with Aya. Saga and him are very good friends, but Aya has hated him from the beginning. Before Aya had left, they had finally gotten on good terms. She had clarified that the two were not friends, but family. That was the only reason she tolerated his stupidity. He was so touched that he almost cried.

While in school, he got left behind 2 times on a school field trip when they stopped for gas. He always has to use the bathroom at the wrong time, like before an interview.
Has yelled in class one time that he wants an american girl XD And had a hamster that ran away while they were on a school fieldtrip; fortunately it came back later. First musical instrument he ever learned to play was the Bass guitar. He had gotten interested in the instrument when his middle school teacher had brought a guitar to school. Ever since then, he’s been addicted and ordered his first electric guitar on ebay and his greatest influence is Dimebag Darell. He's the one in the band that adds English to songs. He's a lot more "rock" than the other members. He's more into metal and hard rock and was the main stage diver until his back problems. His style is certainly a lot different than the others. Songwriting is the only thing he does to contribute to the band really. The Tiger despite his quiet appearance, gives an unbelievably powerful performance. The songs he composes have a tendency to be significantly heavy, most likely an influence from his favorite band, Korn. His songs are very different from the normal Alice Nine music. Stray Cat, Zero, Dice, Nine Head s(Kowloon) are a few examples.

His favorite season is winter and favorite albums are mostly by KoЯn. He smokes Marlboro Menthol Light Cigs because they help him relax. Almost everyone in the group of boys smokes. His favorite food is curry(his mother makes the best curry, even his band mates agree) and he has two cats Neko-Chan and Chicken. He's often stated that he wants a wild girl. A girl that can "keep up with" him. However, he doesn’t really get along with girls that much. The female he’s been able to stand is Sagas sister, Aya. She is misunderstood by a lot of people and reminds him of himself. He remembers the first day he met her, she was really distant. It irritated him at first and the others but when Saga explained everything to them about her bullying they immediately felt bad for judging. Ever since all the boys have tried to make an effort at friendship with her.

He's quarter American. His grandfather was German. His parents were strict and really not happy when he decided to play in a band. Often times they would lock him up in his room, and he wouldn’t go to school for days or even see his friends. His guitar would be taken away, even smashed sometimes. He is really close to his mother though, he tells her everything. She is the only one out of the two who will listen to him, his mother finds it quite cute how honest he actually is.

Other members referred to him as Piccolo if they were Dragon BallZ characters. He describes himself as a 'Lone Wolf', and it's a seemingly accurate description. Tora chooses to do his own thing and most times likes to keep to himself. It's only more recently that the boys are starting to see a somewhat carefree and even silly air about him. He says the one thing in life he can't do without is faith and that his strengths and weaknesses are a secret. He could be very shy with people though.


He owns a Johnny Depp POTC doll and enjoys getting drunk sometimes. He stopped blogging after his birthday. He never writes letters because his writing is so messy. One time he had been harassed by some old lady in a cafe once (Muiscal Cafe >XD idk). Once, he had spit strawberry milk onto the audience during a show with Hiroto. He’s scared of insects, saying he hates everything that's creepy-crawly. His room is Gothic Style and he relieves stress by taking a bath. His goal is to become a cooler guitarist...he used to play without shoes during lives until he injured his feet (his big toe's nail) badly.
Lastly, He hates school because he’s forced to go by his parents. His favorite subject is PE... and he dislikes everything except that. He once knew a friend who committed suicide, and takes things like bullying seriously. Some people kill themselves over that, and that scares him. Some days, he’s afraid Aya might do that. She acts strong on the outside but really she is weak deep down. He hopes they can be her crunch.

His first impression of Saga was not a good one. He had met the guy before everyone else, sometime during the beginning of freshmen year of high school. Tora had been helping move equipment off a stage that Sagas group had just performed on. He told him rudely to get his stuff and carry it, that am paws heavy! Tora immediately thought “What the hell, who is this guy!?” When they met again in class, he had already been accepted into the group be the other guys. Tora just tried to play nice. They have a love/hate relationship and sort of tolerate one another. Still, they are close friends though and care for each other.

The woman was well unaware of her sons street fighting activities for years- she and her husband were always busy at work in the factories at night, when most of his rebellious activity took place. She raised him and his sister well though, and they both have genuinely kind hearts, much like her own. She is basically all love, and was never too strict on the kids which is why they never really developed good study habits or curfews until after her husband died. Since the fire, she purchased a new house a few streets over, still close to work. Wanted to move to Vespers once Lottie was injured but didn’t.

Of course, like any younger sibling, Lottie always wanted to be like Angel- except he was a bit of a bad influence. Back before he became all studious and supportive, Angel rubbed off on the younger girl, especially in her teen years. Crazy parties in the underground clubs of their factory city Estesen were a weekly thing for her, and Lottie had quite a raging nightlife. Deespite that, she managed to keep up her grades, unlike Angel, and helped him out a lot once he decided to be more studious.
Of course, her party life has since diminished, since the fire.
Now Lottie is completely blind, except for slight reactions to intense light. To say she’s settled down since becoming this way is an understatement. Ma origionally wanted to move then out of Orientalis so her health would be better, but Lottie insisted they stay. Angel was the one who saved her from the fire, and they got along especially well after. Lottie also seems to have slight romantic interest in Angels friend Ashton.

Ashton was the one who got Angel involved with street fighting; they’d met on the streets while Angel was with his friends playing ball at age 9. Ashton had joined and the two had hit it off. They were friends for years until at Ashton(14) disappeared for a few weeks, returning saying he had no home and his parents had died in a factory explosion. Angels(13) family had taken him in of course, not wanting the kid to get stuck in some orphanage. But he was strange, sulking off at night. One day he invited Angel- and the teen found his friend had gotten involved in underground gambling rings. Angel thought it was great fun- but then they discovered where the real money could be made at; the fighting rings. The bets were huge, the payloads bigger. No one dared even half of that money gambling! The two were estatic- Ashton could always use the extra money, since he didn’t like Angel’s already struggling family paying for him. Angel saw it as a way to help pay the bills. After speaking to the men in charge, they of course weren’t allowed to enter. So, they took to the less strict street fights. The money wasn’t bad; gangs of teens would bet against each other, things got rough and dirty when the losers were sore- one could often pickpocket more then you’d get originally.
The boys trained their butts off until Ashton was 16- Angel pretended to be the same age. They got involved in the heavy fight rings- but to everyone’s surprise, they were hard to beat in tag teams and eventually singles. The bets went up, they made money and got better and older. On the side, they did street fights for training. With his new money, Ashton could afford to pay off a charity house, so he wouldn’t be a burden to Angels family and wouldn’t be sent to an orphanage.
When the accident hit the Paladsky’s, Ashton was hit just as hard since they were like a second family. While Angel through himself into his studies, Ashton kept up his fighting and got a factory job as well, pitching into the family what he could.
He has and still acts as a guide to Lottie, which Angel appreciates, even if she doesn’t need him. Its safer to have him by her side on the streets and Angel jokes they’ll get married eventually.

They helped each other out all the time now,and both had several basic classes together. Eventually,in spring of the ninth grade, they merged their sets of friends together and became a whole group. History with Colette: Trixie had been friends with Colette since the 1st grade, where they were put in the same work-table to color,play with the sandbox, and write out the alphabet. They grew up together, and only lived five blocks away form each other. They share birthdays in the same week, so they always used to celebrate them together.They sat next to each other in all their classes,due to their last names. They could discuss girl things openly, since the girls knew one would not judge the other. Trixie got Colette to take breaks away from studying, which helped clear her mind. She didn't always listen as well as she should, and had her head on the clouds, always dreaming of becoming a famous writer and traveling all over Cree, which she couldn't, since her parents were poor. The summer of eighth grade, Colette surprised Trixie with a gift trip to Pryvale in Vesper, and Trixie readily agreed. Personality: Matt is a quiet, but intellectual soul. He's good at sports, but, much to the coaches at his school's displeasure, he won't join any team, unless it's the Speech and Debate or Math Team. Katie had been friends with Colette since the summer of sixth grade, when she moved from Barrowood, because her grandmother could no longer take the extreme cold. She moved right across the street from Colette, and the two spent the summer together,along with Trixie. Katie never liked Trixie because she was so ditzy, and Trixie didn't like Katie because she seemed too tom-boyish and rude.Colette was unaware of this until the girls started feuding and competing for her friendship, which she put a stop to, and they reconciled. History: Marcus grew up in the backwaters of Maple Valley in Vesper to a lazy, alcoholic farmer named Bill and an unfaithful woman named Pat. Despite living in one of the most fertile places on Cree, the farm his family owned was a run down shanty after years of bad handling as it was past down to an even more incompetent son. In fact at one time the name Ronvox was famous among the farmers of Vesper, but not anymore.

Marcus grew up on his own pretty much since his parents never really payed much attention to the fact that they even had a son. When they did however it wasn't pleasant. The boy tried to keep what little left of the farm there was going but it didn't do much. The land was so mistreated from years of neglect it would take an equal amount of years to get it back to the way it was. And no body had that kind of time or money. So since home held nothing for him Marcus except hunger and neglect, he began to travel and spend a lot of time out in the woods of Pryvale. He taught himself how to hunt and live of the land in a different way. He rarely came back home though, only to check if his folks were still alive and drop of some food in case they had need of it.

When he was fourteen everything changed. He came home one winter nigh to find the farm, all of it from the barn to the house, on fire. Despite everything those people had done to him, he still went in and saved them, battling the minions of Diablo that had started it, on his way in. When he found his father, he was drunk and passed out of the floor. Marcus lifted his sorry ass out, his mother wasn't anywhere to be seen in the house. He assumed the woman was out drinking and picking up other men again. The farm couldn't be salvaged, and when his father came to his senses he didn't recognize Marcus and cursed the boy for burning his farm. No one believed the drunk of course, many had actually seen his harrowing rescue and applauded him for it.

Now with a dead beat father on his hands and no money or place to stay, Marcus was at a loss. He sold the land on the cheap and used the money to stay at an inn till he could figure out what to do. Pat was found in an alleyway the morning after the fire mugged and killed. At this bit of news the boy hit rock bottom, he refused to drink though, and instead found solace out in the forest. He tried to find work but no one was hiring. They all pitied him but the boy had no knowledge of how the farm equipment worked or what to do with the crops and no one was willing to teach him. One ray of hope did present itself.

A stranger, dress in black from head to toe and unwilling to show his face offered to take his father in and care for him, as long as Marcus headed to the academy and became a Ryder. Marcus agreed, not caring who this stranger was, just that he was free of his burden. He hiked across Cree and made it to the academy just in time for the opening ceremony. When he went out to get his companion he came across a roadblock. What companion would he get? He had no preference but he knew it would have to be tough, so a fairy or a unicorn was out of the question. Maybe a dragon would suffice, in which he would look for in the mountains.

He came across a cave​ where in he found a huge mother dragon, a Terra Drake. By her head, nestled in the earth, were eight eggs, each about the size of his head. Using all he had learned hunting out in the forest, he crept up and carefully grabbed on of the outermost eggs. He left without the mother being any the wiser to his presence. He gained a heavy companion named Bach. The dragon didn't grow quickly but he did grow constantly, and was constantly hungry to. The bond between the two was close though since they had one thing in common, they were both trouble makers. During their years at the academy despite being at the top of their class in almost everything but magic-which he failed at- those two were known as the biggest mischief makers of all time. From random food fights to elaborate pranks they did it all. For the end of the year they even tepee'd the arena since by that time Bach was big enough to help with such things. Degore was more than glad to see the two leave.

As a Ryder, the duo never stayed in one place long, Marcus earned the name Earth Smasher(or sometimes Home Wrecker), for his bad habit of racking up property damage to nearby towns in his battles with Diablo's forces. Most of the time his jolly nature made up for it though. It was in fact on one such adventure that he met his wife. He saved her from a Diablo slave camp and they were married two years later with their first daughter, Trista.

Zale May

History:
Both of his parents were rather uninvolved with his childhood, though they still provided for him, but that was it. However, because of this, he’s a pretty quiet, reserved character. As a young child, he was bullied, and hated. In high school, the older kids picked on one of his friends, bloodying him almost to the verge of him passing out, before Zale stepped in. After that fight, he was never the same. At the age of 16 he left his family to become a Ryder, feeling he had no part where he was, and wanted to do something good for the world, and rather, himself. On his way to the Academy, he had stopped at a local inn on the way during the night, and suddenly a loud raucous was heard outside. He quickly left his room to investigate, and found a mob there, calling for the blood of the Fenrir. Curiously, he joined the group, and followed them.

What they came upon next, he would have never expected. A giant wolf was ravaging one of the farm houses along the outskirts of the town, slaughtering everything in sight. It was almost as large as the farmhouse itself. The group managed to bind the massive creature with chains and ropes, preventing it from moving any further, and also forcing it to reduce its size, but it was still larger than your average wolf. They were preparing to take down the beast, when Zale intervened, pleading for the beast’s life for a reason unknown to himself. Probably because it reminded him of himself. At that moment, the beast took advantage of his position, suddenly moving its head to stare down at the boy, its eyes narrowing deeply, as it made the bond. Zale suddenly collapsed on the ground, clutching at his throat. The men there stopped, knowing that if they killed the Fenrir, they would kill the boy as well, for the beast had made the lethal connection.

Thus Zale acquired his companion, who promptly reduced its size, the chains and binds remaining around its legs, forcing it to keep its small size. During his time at the academy, someone had taken Fauve lightly, foolishly making fun of the chains around its feet which caused the beast’s temper to flare up, and without another second, the large wolf took down the boy’s small dragon, jaws around its throat and ready to end it. Zale had quickly intervened, grabbing one of the chains and yelling something towards Fauve, which caused the beast to let out a yelp and drop the dragon.

After that, everyone avoided he and Fauve, which both didn’t mind all that much anyway. They were there to learn how to take down evil, so they could unleash and vent their anger in a productive way. The two grew close and definitely prideful. Once he left the Academy, he immediately headed out to fight Diablo’s army. Every time, he would release one or two of Fauve’s bonds, allowing the beast to grow in size, and thus in power as well.

Eventually, Zale ran into Farrah, and later married her, having their first child in Kelud. The two remained travelling, doing business and defeating Diablo’s minions along the way with their son, until that one fated day occurred.

The three had been staying in a village, resting since their last trip and consequently last victory over Diablo’s minions, when the village was ambushed by just that. Zale had immediately sprung into action, leaving his wife and kid blindly, running off with Fauve with a smirk on his face. However, one of the minions took Farrah and Sentac, beating them both bloody. Farrah had tried to protect her son, but because of the bravery, the minion just threw her aside with a smirk and focused on Sentac, giving him the most damage. One of the villagers came in on the scene and dispatched the man. Once Zale returned to find his family broken, his anger and pride died within him, and he swore off being a Ryder forever, and he took his family far away from Diablo and his lankees, settling down in Maple Valley to take the simple life of a farmer. Sentac was too young to remember what had happened that day, but he knew his father was a Ryder. Once they had Macari, Zale made the two swear to never tell her about his past.

He hasn’t picked up a sword in many years, and he simply told Macari that Fauve was a refugee from Diablo’s terror. She accepted the story without a second thought, and she was Fauve’s source of peace, she being the only one he truly accepted and loved, and the only one he showed any form of compassion to. She usually intervened for him whenever he got in trouble, and he usually got out of trouble because of her.

When his daughter said she wanted to become a Ryder, at first Zale was furious, but internally, externally he showed no signs of his dislike, but Fauve acted up because of it, not wanting what happened to Sentac to happen to her. He had made peace with his Ryder’s decision to abandon the cause, but to have Macari go into it, after what he had seen out there, it was unacceptable to him. He fell into one of his rampages, and did a lot of damage to some of the surrounding pens and one of the houses.

He was disciplined severely for it, and after fighting it out with each other, Zale and Fauve accepted that his daughter would leave, and thus the next time it was brought up, he simply nodded while Fauve sat at his feet, ignoring everyone and everything around him. At Minx’s departure, Fauve rested his forehead against hers before disappearing for awhile.

Personality:

Fauve is a very grave individual, prone to acts of violence around almost everyone excluding Zale, Sentac, and Macari, and to a lesser extent Farrah. No one’s heard his voice in many years, the only communication when it comes to him is between the connection between himself and Zale, as well as animal vocalizations, mainly growling, snarling, and baring teeth.

He’s loyal almost to a fault, and is extremely protective of his Ryder, although no one would ever guess. Almost everyone stays away from him, and he likes it that way. He’s made peace with his Ryder’s choice to quit the fight, especially after what had happened. However, it has become increasingly difficult to control Fauve’s temper, and once or twice he’s gone on a bit of a rampage. He does what he pleases, and puts up a fight when he’s disciplined for things he’s not supposed to do, such as killing livestock or the like.

The family has accepted him for who he is, and puts up with whatever he throws at them, though for Macari it’s been under false pretenses, and also because she grew up with him.

History:
Farrah originally met Zale on a business trip to one of the minor outlying towns of Lorston, where an unusually bad outbreak of Diablos’ minions was lurking. Zale had run into her, warning her she should leave the area until it was cleared out. Farrah had been stricken already, the desire to stay by his side somewhat strong, but she heeded his advice rather grudgingly. She backtracked to the last town she had passed, and remained there for a few days, wondering if she’d see him again. Eventually he returned in search for her to personally inform her that the way was clear. After that, they seemed to hit it off, and his companion put up with her, so it was a good match. They began travelling together, and at Kelud, Macari’s brother, Sentac, was born. Eventually they settled down in Maple Valley to start a quiet life, after the event happened.

She’s the loving and caring parent, spending almost all of her time with her kids when they were young. Macari and her brother often would go on small expeditions with their mother out into the local forests and meadows while their father worked.

She was sad to see Sentac leave, but knew it was time for him to start his own life. She definitely devoted much of her time and attention to her daughter, until she declared she wanted to become a Ryder to help others. At first, she dreaded her husband’s reaction to the news, but he remained blank faced and simply nodded his head.

History:

Averin made a temporary home in Maple Valley when she was 16, quickly making friends with many of the ‘youngin’s’, as she liked to tease them. However, she definitely seemed to click with four other specific people, Macari, Ulric, Dara, and Kennedy. They all made a great team, and went on all sorts of different adventures, mainly staged by Ava at first, but then each had their turn to come up with somewhere to go and something to do.

Averin was definitely like an older sister to Macari, and the two got along brilliantly, even though Averin influenced her quite a bit to do quirky, insane things with her. She even convinced Minx to do a bit of modeling with her. It was fun for Ava, but rather uncomfortable for Macari, even though she laughed, some of the others there were rather rude.

Averin is fierce, loyal, and very outgoing. She’s a social butterfly, loves everything around her, enjoys looking fantastic, and is ridiculously affectionate towards Minxy.

She’s the let’s-go-get-‘em type, the leader of the group, making highly dramatic narrations to their expeditions, and loves making a fool of herself around her friends. This is where Macari gets her carefree attitude and comfort with herself. She’s learned it’s so much more fun to jape at yourself in ridiculous ways, rather than having someone else point things out to you negatively and put you down. Because of her antics with Ava, she doesn’t care what many others think of her when it comes to her strange ways.

History:

The second in Macari’s group, Ulric is definitely the sweet heart, even though he’s got a bit of muscle, and he’s German. He’s always been a fan of fairies, mesmerized by how small and intricate they are, and thus decided he wanted to work among them, and learn more about them. However, he’s a sort of pacifist when it comes down to it, so he got picked on a lot by other people because of the things he loved and for being so gentle and seemingly fragile. He’s had a hard past, and thus refuses to fight. Macari and the rest of her friends stand up for him, Averin usually at the head of it, not caring if she vandalizes something or injures someone, justice must be served, by her books. Because of that, this is where Macari gets her need to see everything right and evil to never go unpunished.

He’s definitely got a love for his tight knit group, for when it was his turn to choose the adventure, and he suggested going out to look at fairies, they all jumped at it without hesitation, all exclaiming what a great idea it would be and how fun as well. So he’s gained confidence from them in who he is and in himself.

Ulric is the quiet sweetheart of the group, showing everyone that a gentle side is important, as well as fun.

History:

Dara’s always the one you see outside, hanging among the trees and running about without shoes on. She used to live in a moving circus before her family decided to pull out and enjoy a quiet life at Maple Valley. She’s never been seen without a bit of black eyeliner, except when sleeping over at one of her friend’s houses. She’s got a confident nature to herself, finding content in the nature around her, and sharing a bit of philosophy she’s discovered from her thoughts alone. She loves the stars, and the feel of tree bark beneath her feet. Macari’s gotten her agility from running around pretty much every day with Dara, climbing trees, walking on tightropes, learning from Dara, walking on her hands, etc.

Dara is the one when it comes to nature, and is consequently the nature sprite of the group, finding fun crafts and sharing in bare-footedness with her buddies outside. She came up with the idea of having a paper lantern outside their houses every night to signal when it was time to group together for a new meeting to decide what adventure was next.

History:

Kennedy makes the group as the mischief creator, but all in good fun, never taking his pranks too far as to seriously piss anyone off. He’s got good balance of overall self, and a steady hand, which makes him the ‘Archer’s Prodigy’ as their little group likes to call him. He’s always got his bow with him whenever they go out into the forests and mess around on their expeditions. He accepts everyone for who they are, and tries to look past the bad stuff, but if anyone messes with his mates, he’s definitely willing to throw down. Macari spent hours over the course of a few days when the group decided to go hiking and camp, to watch him go at it with the bow and some targets. He even taught her the basics of how to use it and the positioning needed. He was the one who dubbed her ‘Little Minx’ to which Averin tweaked for her own personal use to ‘Minxy’.

Kennedy’s the jokester of the group, and this is where Macari has gotten her sense of humor from.

Holli had been in the presence of Ryders her entire life. And not by choice. When her home island, Piperi(renamed Skorpois) had been invaded by guess-who, she was one of the last few survivors. The children had been sheltered and protected; the dead bodies of their parents or strangers gave them cover. When the Ryders had come to survey the area and fight back, their was no one to fight for. Most of the adult survivors were hauled off to camp, and the children were either killed off or left behind to fend off for themselves. Holli was found by one of these Ryders and taken into his home. She was raised from a young age in combat, weaponry, and magic.



When she had reached the appropriate age, she was enrolled into the Ryder Academy. She had already known what type of companion she desired, a phoenix. She had studied its ways, its mannerisms, interacted with other Ryders who had a pact with the creature, and studied its habitat. When she had been released to find her life-long eternal companion till death due them apart, she ran. Ran as far as the mountains, ran as and climbed as high to the mountains. She aimed for the volcano. Dust and soot were sputtering down on her as she climbed up the rocky slope. And as she climbed higher, she noticed how her breathes became shorter. She reached her arm up to grab a branch, to pull herself up higher; she was almost there Almost at the top! She could taste its fire in her mouth! Until something red landed splat on face, she lost her footing, and fell. She was bound to die now. Falling down in open space, her life would end like this and she couldn’t even see a thing. What an uncool death. She removed the thing off her face, she had a right to know what was about to end her life. It was a baby phoenix. She had been so close. And she cried. Right in that moment, the baby chirped, tilted its head, and opened its wings to catch the wind. Holli watched as the thing looked down at her in curiosity.

Save me/ she thought. She shut her eyes, and readied herself for a pain that never came. Instead, she felt her back burn and the flutter of wings. When she opened her eyes again, she was on top of a semi-mature phoenix. It was the same one from before. She could tell. It had made its-self grown just enough to save her. Her life was indebted to the creature, and both mutually understood that they would serve the world side by side. Her companions name…was Screech.

Now her Academy life would finally pick up. She would pass with flying colors, she would be the best. She would make it high in the ranks, she knew people. During her time in highschool, she had met Marcus Gnodell Ronvox, Tristas father. They were friends for a year or two before they hit it off and started going out. They got along like they’d known each other for years. They just clicked, you know? And after two years of friendship, and everyone nagging about how perfect they were for each other, they decided to give it a shot and go out. It was more for fun back then, something to pass the time. But they really did care for one another. When they had graduated together, it was the happiest days of their life. But they were still young and naïve. They had a fall-out as they progressed into their career as Ryders. Neither had time for the other, and both couldn’t handle the hard work and effort put into a relationship. They had a world to save. Holli really did love him, but she had to keep her priorities straight. She had to remind herself daily that their time had passed, that they were high school sweet hearts and that’s all they ever would be. It just got harder for her when she heard he had married another woman, and had two kids with her. She couldn’t even stand seeing him after that. Why did he try to make it work with that woman but not her? Part of her wanted to blame him for everything, but she knew it was mostly her fault. She had pushed him away to be a beloved Ryder.

Now she is an army General, which is defined as a leader who only corresponds to the command of an individual army in the field. She goes by General Flare. She uses guns as her long-range and primary weapon, but when on the battle field a bow is her best bet. She flies in the sky and uses a combination of magic with her weapon and companion. She uses a double edged spear when in close quarters of an enemy and her arrow or gun will not work. Guns are hooked to her side, her bow and arrow on her back and her spear is attached to the side of her companion when she needs it. She will be one of the leading figures who will show the young Ryders the ropes. She will be their boss.

Screech is a jerk. He’s one of those bosses that smack a sarcastic remark on you with everything you do and make your life miserable in training because he enjoys it. His humor is a bit dark, and he can be creepy. Very creepy. He’s an extreme sadist which is why Holli and he get along. He pushes her to her limits even as an adult to where she might end up in bed for a couple days from training. He’s happy he gets an outlet, but he hates it when he’s scolded for doing it to others. Often times, some Ryders will quit or be transferred to a different team because of him. One thing Screech doesn’t like is pain. He’s fast on his feet and a good fighter, because he wants to live. He dishes pain out, not receives it.

This is some history on the people who bullied Aya, so you get a feel of what she went through. it's not everything and couldn't possibly describe the pain and sorrow she experienced, but it's a little. (If you've ever read the book 'Please Stop Laughing At Me' I based a lot of Ayas life on that..TT.TT I cry 5 times every time i read it. This book was based off a true story, this kind of stuff happens in real life. )

History with Aya: – Hana was Ayas very first friend in elementary school. Hana didn’t know why she was friends with the girl, other than the fact that she did everything she wanted. She bought her things, made her lunches, did her homework, she was her personal servant! She felt like a true princess! A servant and her best friend Yoko at her side. Hana always made sure to make Aya feel like she was ‘special’ and would tell kids who disliked her to knock it off. She couldn’t have her servant being incapable of fulfilling her duty. But Aya saw it as friendship, care. So, Hana kept up the gimmick.

Things became difficult when Yoko started growing a back home. Bless her heart, she loved how kind-hearted Yoko was. But it was dull. She kept nagging Hana about how wrong this was, Yoko saw the worthless girl as her friend. It wasn’t long till Hana got jealous. Yoko and Aya had started spending more time together, going to each others house, and she wasn’t invited. That just wouldn’t do.

So she framed Aya. She knew a boy in her class liked Aya and encouraged him to confess to her. For a month, she had been encouraging him and working on her side. She was telling Aya how in love she was with this boy! When he confessed to her, Hana put her acting skills to good use. She accused Aya of stealing her beloved, told her she didn’t want to be friends with her. She pushed her to the ground, and Yoko grabbed Hanas arm begging her to stop. She told Yoko if she still wanted to be her friend she would shut up and be quiet! Yoko had been friends with Hana for years; she’d only known Aya for so long. They were neighbors, they’d have to see each other everyday. Their parents were best friends. Not being friends would cause problems for everyone. Hana knew this. And Yoko backed off.

She let it go after that, and even she was surprised with how the class suddenly acted around her. They treated her like scum. But she didn’t care. Her brother was a pain though. She still remembers how he confronted her after school. He had looked at her with such scary eyes. She was sure he was going to kill her. But he didn’t. He told her to stop picking on his sister and help minimize the bullying or he would pay her back in respects the same exact way she hurt Aya. Ayas brother had just as many friends and power in the school as she did. So…she appeased to his demands.

Yoko was Ayas second friend, and as soon as Yoko met the sweet girl, she adored her. The two were very like, both soft-spoken. But Aya was good at everything, while Yoko was useless. She looked up to Aya, she had a kind heart, a loving brother, and passed with flying colors at everything she did. It hurt to see Hana use her kindness, and she had tried on multiple occasions to convince Hana that this was wrong. In the end, she was useless. She couldn’t even save Aya when Hana had cracked some evil plan to get rid of her without her knowledge. She couldn’t NOT be Hanas friend. It would be a burden to her family. Not only that, but she was scared. Hana held grudges, she could be really nasty. Yoko didn’t want any of that; she wasn’t strong enough to handle it.

And she felt worse when the next day; the kids treated her like she was trash. They ignored her entire existence, called her names; hit her with jump ropes when she would try to go play jump rope with the other kids. Hana hadn’t been watching, but she remembered the time that the kids had asked Aya to go play baseball with them and apologized. Her brother encouraged her, and she went along with it happily. But it wasn’t what it looked like. The boy pitcher wasn’t throwing it under hand like he was suppose too. Yokos eyes widened as she watched the cruelest scene she had ever seen. The boy aimed at Aya, and she tried to correct, and…he threw it at her. It was aimed at her stomach and she fell to the ground in pain. Saga’s buddies had pointed it out just when all the kids on the baseball field towered over her, mocking her and making fun of her. Yoko couldn’t hear her tears, but she knew she was crying.

Hana wouldn’t let her look at the field anymore, so she kept her gaze on her brother. Sagas buddies were laughing and he kicked them, telling them to shut up and ran to his sister’s aid. The cry of the boys getting their butt whoops couldn’t possibly make her feels better. She knew better then anyone; a permanent scar was going to be left on Aya forever. And no one could heal that. Even to this day, she regrets not having a backbone.

History with Aya: – Hitomi, is Ayas worse nightmare. She knew this, and she ravished in this fact that someone could be so afraid of her. She came from a broken household, along with a twisted and broken high view of herself. Don’t get her wrong, she never had a problem with Aya in the beginning. The girl was nonexistent to her, not even in her world. She never noticed her. And that’s where the problem laid. She had been bullying someone after school, for many reasons, one of many being that it made her feel better about herself. She hadn’t noticed Aya watching. The girl didn’t even hesitate to bring a teacher to the scene. She couldn’t be like most noble people and them herself, she had to be a coward. She was expelled, and hit till she was blue when she got home and her parents had found out. She sought revenge. Ever since then, Aya was a constant target.

Hitomi had created many of the plots of Ayas biggest scars. She had her friends found out the routes she walked, and pelt her with stones in a shady area. She wrote hateful, cruel words on her desk. She turned every student against her, and those who didn’t want to get involved stayed away from her. People who were in group projects with her were even a target unless they did something mean to her to show they weren’t on her side. Hitomi had built her image up at this school, she had befriended the delinquents. No one wanted to get involved. It was just high school. AS long as their life wasn’t affected no one else cared. Hitomi played on life’s selfishness like a harp.

The worst yet, was when she had gotten the boys to corner Aya. To only scare her a bit, harass her sexually a little and take some pictures to where she would cry. The girl never cried. She never saw her cry. She always came back with her head high and didn’t come back at her. It pissed her off. She was shocked though to see the boys come back beat up, covered in a multiple of colors and all their phones broken. They said they weren’t doing that ever again and told her to fend for herself. Aya’s brother and his friends beat the crap out of them, and they were scared. This was the last event Aya had experienced before running off to some Ryder Academy. Hitomi felt pride of herself in a way, the girl had run away. She had won. And that was enough.

Personality:Jung Woo-Shi is a practical joker. He loves gags and pulling tricks on his neighbors, friends, enemies, and teachers.He's famous in his neighborhood for them, and the adults mind him with a sigh. He isn't very studious,but he works hard to get the grades he gets, and his teachers see that. Sometimes, he nods off in class,and the teachers pull tricks back on him,letting the other students draw mustaches on him, or tie his shoelaces together.
He's very good with children. During the summer, he does 'magic' shows in the neighborhood for free, and many children gather to watch him do what he does best. He originally wanted to be a magician, but he knew it wouldn't get him any money, so now he wants to be an actor, and JJ is helping him accomplish that.

He hasn't grown up yet. He loves immature things and spending time with immature people,and that usually means children. He has his head up on the clouds, and JJ worries he'll never come down. He is also innocent, very much like JJ is, except he has the same knowledge about the real world that a fifth grader has.He's childish, but also extremely charming and honest. He never beats around the bush with people.

History with JJ: Jung has been friends with JJ since preschool. They played together, learned together(although Jung wasn't so interested in the learning), and grew up together. They were bonded by these years, and never grew apart from each other. When JJ was depressed, since his parents no longer paid attention to him, Jung was there to console him in the only way he knew how--he made JJ take his point of view. He helped him to be as carefree as he was, and for a time it worked. They ran in the streets, causing mishaps and grade-school trouble.But JJ isn't like Jung--he can only not care for so long, especially when being dragged around to all of Suzyana's recitals. When he made his first video, Jung was the one to share it.He felt like it was a responsibility trusted upon him, and that was the first time he felt conscientious about his friend's life,watching the video and how JJ had seemed so mad, so unusual from his usual self, and it made him feel weird inside, like he needed to do something. He sold the idea of JJ's video to friends, family, acquaintances, anyone. And for that, JJ is forever grateful.
When Jung's father died, Jung did not feel anything. He was so angry at himself that he did not feel anything, and he couldn't tell why, and it killed him inside. Jung had never really seen his father, since his parents had never gotten married, and his father lived all the way in Orientalis. His father never thought of visiting, writing, calling, even sending money to Jung's mother for child support. Jung still felt guilty, because he thought it was his obligation to cry or be sad, like his mother was. He asked JJ what he should do, and JJ, after much consideration, told him he should fake it. So, when they attended the wake and the funeral, Jung pretended to weep in sorrow, and mourned the loss of a father he never had. This is what sparked his incentive to be an actor. JJ got him a job as an extra on a movie set, and he's been expanding slowly to small parts with few lines. He feels, since he has this talent, it would be a shame to waste it, or at least that's what JJ says. He feels obligated to it only because of his mother,who he has a deep love for, and wouldn't want her working all her life.

Personality:Yin has a really nasally voice, but is amazing when she projects it into singing. She is cheery, bright, but sometimes overly dramatic or generic. She has a hard time trying to make up her own ideas, which results in her taking little snippets of songs, jumbling them together in different ways, and then singing them. Either that or making a song full of 'yeah's, 'nanana's, and 'ohohoh's. However, her ability to sing is incredible,which is why she is so popular. She loves people in uniforms, and also enjoys fishing and scuba diving. She grew up in a fishing and crop neighborhood, so it ran through generations, stopping with her.
She is very vulnerable, and usually complies to whatever people tell her to do. She's not very confident in herself, but knows one day she will make her own song and everyone will love the true feelings of her heart.


History with JJ:Yin and JJ met when their managers decided to make a duet on Yin's album with him, as it would increase their popularity. JJ wasn't going to complain, and visited Yin to work on some song lyrics. He quickly found out her lack of imagination or originality, but also found out she was sweet and kind, and didn't mind making a song with her. They quickly became fast friends, as they were both rising up in the business. Their song, which JJ wrote himself, titled 'Second Kiss' quickly became #1 on the Top 40 for three weeks.They went to multiple interviews ,and filmed a cameo for a soap opera together, and eventually became best friends.
JJ says

I really didn't expect us to get along so well. Maybe it's all the time we spent together, or because we were both new in the business, or maybe it's because I truly believe she is capable of great things, that made us best friends.

They rose to fame together,and Yin started to fall in love with him, especially when she became the opening act for one of his concerts. He, however, didn't reciprocate feelings towards her, since he finds her as a little sister. She was devastated, but JJ kept their friendship alive, and for that she loved him even more.JJ has tried to find Yin a talent other than singing, to make up for her lack of soulful song writing, but has yet to find one. He doesn't want to push her, like his parents did to him, so he's stopped, and Yin has promised him she will write him a song that they both have desired for her to create.

Personality:Denvon is very laid back and goofy. He likes posing for pictures, and started his career as a model for a popular men's clothes magazine. He states that the camera loves him, and he loves the camera back. Then, he got offered to play drums in a new band called 'HisTory', and took the offer. He wasn't a very hard worker, until the band made him shape up during rehearsal. He plays around a lot, and has a love for paper-mache, planes, name-brand clothing, and leather furniture. He is just fine with sitting around doing nothing,and reaping from the hard work of others.
However, he's been in the business for a long time and knows all the tricks and routine. He's very wise when it comes to this, and can smell a con, a fake-out, and can tell when someone's genuine. He doesn't like sneaky rats, although he doesn admit he doesn't do a lot in his band, except smile and look pretty. He also can have a very enflamed ego, and knows he's very much of a big deal.
Denvon says

At least I can admit to myself and others I don't like to work, and I'm just fine coat-tailing on other's success. Some people can't admit their nature to themselves.

History with JJ: Denvon and JJ met at a coffeehouse, and instantly recognized each other from TV and magazines. They sat down to chat over hot chocolate(in JJ's case), and a non-fat vente mocha, with half skim, half whole milk(in Denvon's case). They bonded and talked a lot about music, TV shows, and growing up in Vesper, along with how they got started.
JJ pointed out he knew Denvon considered himself a hotshot, and Denvon admired his honesty. When JJ related some drama show his managers wanted him to do full time, Denvon retaliated, angrily demonstrating prime examples of stars being led around on a rope, and warned JJ about the trouble with fame.JJ spoke to his managers about it, and his managers backed down.
He went to thank Denvon, getting praise from his and his band for standing up to himself, and became an opening act on one of their concerts. Denvon and JJ hang out a lot, especially online, where they have witty conversations. JJ makes Denvon work harder, and push himself to new limits, although Denvon doesn't always comply. He was grateful when JJ made him take a spot as a singer in his band, because he discovered a new passion for it, along with dark, brooding lyrics, or light, but meaningful ones.

Personality and History: – Lory grew up in Vesper in a farming family, so she hasn't ever really left home. Her and Ron were sweethearts since middle school, and they were engaged before too long. When she was old enough she began going to college for engineering, then ended up dropping out around 21 when she had her first child Jonathan. Ron was very helpful in raising him and she was able to go back and finish her schooling. When Jonathan was two years old, the small family got offered a better work opportunity in Pryvale. They moved there and settled into new jobs, and before long had another child, Andrew.
As much as the woman was a doting mother to each of her children, showering them with affection, she'd be the first to admit that Andrew was always difficult. It wasn't that he was hard to please, but he responded strangely and the parents never knew quite what he wanted. Their oldest son was much easier- at 4 years old, he already knew what he wanted and when. He was never indecisive and basked in attention.
So Lory did kind of develop favoritism as the children grew up, if only because for all her attempts to try and please Andrew he didn't seem to react. Jonathan was a natural smooth talker and was always pleased with toys and gifts.
Paired with her busy job, Lory never had much free time. She always went over and beyond with her projects allowing quick promotions and never took something halfway.

Personality and History: – Ron grew up a farm boy, and he was perfectly content to stay a farm boy the rest of his life. He married his childhood sweetheart and continued working, for pay, on his fathers land. When they moved to Pryvale, he took the opportunity to start up his own land in the fertile area. He's a hard worker, but extremely tender and jovial. He loved his children and his wife and is consistently happy all the time, which led him to get along good with both the boys. He always found Andrew a bit off but still tried his best to encourage the boy to get involved with social events.

History and Personality: - If someone asked Andrew about Lena, he'd go on and on about how she's a goddess. It's not like Lena doesn't have flaws, its just she's extremely loyal and
friendly to most people. She has this way of talking to someone that makes you feel like you've been friends for years, and she's not judgmental on who exactly she's talking too. If you haven't done anything to make her dislike you, chances are she'd treat you like a family member.However, if Lena has a reason to hate you, she will. She can hold a grudge for a long time- if someone even tried to bully Andrew, the popular Lena would immediately hate them.
Lena was born on the small farm next to the Shar. When they moved in she was still a baby but their parents became friends. During elementary school the two would play together but they weren't exactly friends. In 5th grade, Lena took Drew in once she realized the sweet boy had no friends.

Alli never thought grades were too important, and had a tendency to turn things in late.Aside from her passion with acting, she loved musicals and was a very positive, singsongy person to be around. She accepted Drew with no question and loved to compare him too that guy in plays or movies, who was a total loser in high school but became super successful and cool after.
Although she was sweet, Allison has a tendency to get really intense really fast, and it can come off as scary. She's not afraid to speak her mind, and dreams of escaping the farming town and making it to stardom.
She idolizes the star 'JJ' and aspires to have a voice like one of his duet partners 'Yin Lee Park'. Lena would joke that she was obsessive over JJ, but Allison truly admires how he managed to make himself known, and wishes stardom would find her next.
