Beast King, the
Description: The Beast King, the largest and most fearsome creature to ever be seen by humanity, is a creature of relatively unknown nature. Its most noted feature is its wingspan; estimated at more than 200+ yards plus in length they are a marvel to both humans and dragons that the Beast King can fly. It has definite dragon characteristics, but displays no level of intelligence or pity for those weaker than it. Which is strange for any dragon, because even the most tyrannical and evil of the dragon race show pity for their weaker prey. All attempts to communicate with it have failed, meaning it either has no intellect or it simply has no words to spare for its prey. The Beast King is recorded to not eat what it kills, which leads both races to wonder how it survives. As stated before, it shows no intellect and appeared to only have two reasons to exist: Destroy, and hibernate. After the Razing, it simply slipped down into the water that it rose out of and, at least it is thought, slept.
History: Nothing is known about the Beast King pre-Razing. It has only appeared one time in the recorded history of time, during the Razing. When investigating it's relationship to the dragons, it was revealed that the ancient, tens-of-thousands of years ago when the dragons were still warmongering murderers, dragon-god of Death has a similar description to the Beast King, although there are too many differences between the two for them to be the same creature, but they may somehow be related. Shal, the name of the god, is said to be the size of a Grand dragon, meaning very large; about the size of a large barn. He is said to be very intelligent, and merciful, and faeries the souls of fallen dragons, slain in combat, into the after life.
Dragon(s)
Description: Dragons are the most elder, wise, and most magically-inclined race in the Realm. Nicknamed the Father Race, or the Guardian Race, they are responsible for the protection and procreation of all life in the Realm. When the other sentient races were just infants, it was the dragons that protected them and sheltered them from the tests of the Realm. In ancient history, the dragons were once war-loving mindless killers, no better than animals, who ate what ever would fit into their maws, and burnt what couldn't in a bath of magical fire. Dragons are an immortal race, meaning they can potentially life forever. The only way to kill a dragon is through combat, because they are unaffected by disease or age. But some time in the past 10,000+ years, they had learned the arts of magic, reading, writing, and mathematics, centuries before anyone else had. Most dragons are around 6-16 feet tall, and 30-40 feet long, with a wingspan of about 40-50 feet. These dragons are called Common dragons, because almost 60% of the race is this size. These dragons, like all dragons, are very intelligent and wise, but they are not even a fraction as smart as its next class. Above them is the powerful and wise Grand dragon; standing at about 20-25 feet tall, 50-55 feet long with a 60 foot wingspan. They are majestic and wise beyond the mind of any mortal. But, once again, they can not even gaze upon the next class and claim themselves wiser. A Sovereign dragon is the largest, most powerful, wisest, and greatest of any creature to fly the skies, safe for the Beast King. As seen above, they are huge. Standing at 60+ feet, they can be 100+ feet long with wingspans just as long. While dragons can be almost any color, the majority of Sovereign dragons are red and blue. Their wisdom and magical powers are that of a god. There is no intellect more powerful than them because of one simple fact: While all dragons transcend their souls from one life to the next, only Sovereign dragons can take information for their past lives and use them in their current ones. The magic power of this dragon is so great that it can never be matched or beaten. Currently, there only live 3 of this dragon.
Empire of Mankind

Description: Created ~4000 years ago by the king Ergoth, pre-Razing, the Empire of Mankind spanned across the majority of the Realm. But after the destruction of the Beast King, the Empire was almost completely destroyed. Once the Beast King fell back asleep, mankind was able to rebuild and replenish to where they are today, at about a 5th of the numbers they originally were. Today the empire has branched out across the land then they have in the past 1000 years. More and more diverse cultures and even races appear with each new decade. the empire is no longer purely human like it was, and is now more of a mix of races than it has ever been. Still, most non-pure humans are discriminated and shunned, but they become more and more tolerant each day.
Ergoth
Description: King Ergoth VI, considered the peaceful God King of Mankind, was the ruler of the Human Empire for over 500 years. While not much is remembered about him, he is regarded as the most powerful non-dragon mage to ever live, and was 10x the king he was a mage. He lead his people out of a time of great struggle and pain, and created a peaceful and plentiful empire for his people. No one remembers how he was able to achieve his immortality, but he is eternally remembered as being the co-creator and author of The Flameseeker Prophecies: A tome of infinite wisdom and knowledge. It was created by himself and the dragon Sovereign king Nor'Lok as a way to preserve the knowledge of how the world was pre-Razing. So vast and so powerful was the intellect of both of the mages, that the Prophecies were able to peer past the barrier of time, and into the future that awaited the Realm. Now, the Prophecies are considered a holy relic.
History: Nothing is known about the king's early life, or how he even rose to power. And absolutely nothing is known about how he was able to achieve the mantle of immortality, a feat only completed by dragons.
Flameseeker Prophecies, The
Description: The Flameseeker Prophecies are a list of prophecies to take place in the near future. This future can be anywhere from a moment from now, to 10 years in the future. The tome itself is an artifact of magical power, unlike anything ever seen by the eyes of humans or dragons. The tome is indestructible, and can not be opened by those who would seek their own fortune or future. This leads many to believe that the Prophecies is an actual living and sentient force; perhaps the combined consciousness of both of its authors. All of its predictions have come true since its creation, but are shrouded in mystery and are never clearly worded. Another noted feture of the tome is it never changes in size, even though with each new dawn it holds hundreds of more prophecies, both previous and present, as well as an almost complete history to both human and dragon kind. When the book is opened, it always opens from the middle and allows the reader to find what they are looking for simply by thinking it.
History: The Prophecies were created 3000 years ago by the 2 great kings of the Realm: The human king Ergoth, and the dragon Sovereign Nor'Lok. It was created as a gift to the survivors of the Razing, so that the future generations of both races would never forget the past, and be ready for the future. The magic to create it was so powerful that when it was crafted it consumed the life-energy of the 2 greatest minds to ever walk the earth.
