Here you can find a list of all the gods and goddesses mentioned in the roleplay, as well as other major beings of importance, like the demon lords, heroes of legend, and so on. I'll add to this as I add to the story, but because they were not my creation I will not be adding anyone else's to the list. But, if you have created someone that needs to be in the list, feel free to add them.

Brigar:
God of the sun, light, and life itself he is one of the most worshiped gods in all of Utareos. He is often depicted as a tall, muscular man with long white hair and a beard to match, with skin like bronze and eyes as blue as the sky itself, clad in golden armor and carrying silver staff. Many temples have been built to this god all across Elemnaira, and among his worshipers are farmers, humans in general, priests, monks, paladins, and almost anyone who deals with holy magic. While he does not govern healing his followers often ask him to help heal the sick and injured, and often he will comply. It is said that he found the world Utareos had created and brought the sun to it, creating a balance between light and dark, good and evil. While elves and dwarves are sometimes refereed to as his children they rarely worship him if they are not part of some holy order.

Utareos:
God of shadow, darkness, and evil, the patron god of demons and all other beings of an evil disposition. He is often seen as a tall, thin man with pale white skin and gaunt features, wearing black robes, bald with eyes as red as the infernal flames. He is said to carry a barbed whip whisper to his followers in their sleep. He is said to be the god who created this world, making it a playground for evil beings, most prominently demons, who still worship him as the High God, the head of the celestial plane the gods call home. In secret some humans worship this dark god and in a few remote or hidden parts of the world there are even cults who worship him.

Rothlyn:
Goddess of disease, she is said to be among the most beautiful beings in all of creation, depicted as having long, raven black hair and crystal blue eyes, with skin milky white and supple. She wears only a thin black dress that covers her form loosely and carries to weapons or tools with her. She has no need of them. She 'bestows her blessings,' as they say, upon people with a gentle kiss. Sickness is the only thing she ever bestows upon anyone, however, and so some also call her the goddess of death. There is a saying, to be kissed by Rothlyn, which can be used either to describe in a subtle way how someone died, or it can be used as a curse, as in implying that someone should fall ill and die.

The Merry Court
The Merry Court is not a single deity but rather a group of six individual, lesser gods. They are commonly worshiped as a group rather than individually because what they represent go hand in hand to some degree. Almost every inn and tavern in Elemnaira has a small shrine to this group of lesser gods.

Aldara- goddess of drink
Aldara is the twin sister of Aldaron and the lesser goddess of drinking, being intoxicated, and the joy of sharing a drink with others. She is often depicted as a tall, lean woman with long blonde hair and icy blue eyes, always with a mug of ale in her hand. The phrase, 'We raise this glass to Aldara...' is often spoken before a long night of drinking, rather in celebration or in mourning. Her symbol is a glass half full.

Aldaron- god of the feast
Aldaron is the twin brother of Aldara and the lesser god of the feast, being full, and the joy of sharing a meal with others. Like his sister he is tall and lean, with short blonde hair and ice blue eyes, always with a fork in one hand and a knife in the other. Restaurants that serve large amounts of food at all times often have his symbol, a dinner plate, etched over their doors.

Gallivarant- god of travel
Gallivarant is said to be a shapeshifter, able to change his form to that of any race so as to blend in better as he walks the world. He is the lesser god of travel, exploration, and being lost. Due to his ability to change form there are countless depictions of this god, but he always wears a cloak, and his symbol is always universal, a boot with an eye near the laces. This is a symbol of the phrase, 'I have seen the road.' A small prayer often muttered by those who worship him.

Sylix- goddess of rest
Sylix is said to be a beautiful, dark skinned woman with long dark hair and emerald green eyes, often depicted as lying on a bed. She is the lesser goddess of rest, relaxation, and sleep. Not to be confused with Pelura, the goddess of dreams and sleep. In almost every inn you can find a silver coin with a crescent moon and a single star etched into the metal in each room, as this is her symbol. She is said to watch over those who are tired while they take short naps.

Meliorous- god/goddess of music
Unlike the other members of The Merry Court, Meliorous is a trickster who can switch between being male or female. In either form it is said to have long brown hair tied up in a ponytail, pale skin, and dark eyes, wearing fancy clothing and always carrying some sort of musical instrument. Bards are the most common worshipers of this deity, as they symbolize music, instruments, and entertainment. Their symbol is a mandolin.

Zenia- goddess of the hearth
Unlike the other members of The Merry Court, Zenia is not a lesser god, but the full fledged goddess of the hearth, warmth, and protection of the home. It is said that she once walked the earth as a wood elf who fiercely protected her home and those close to her from the demons during the Dark Times, and as a reward, upon her death she was given a position among the Higher Powers. She is often depicted as an older elf with silver hair, fair skin, and orange eyes, wearing an elegant gown. Her symbol is a candle in a window.

Xvymir:

The veeran god of balance, life, and death. This god is often portrayed as two wolves chasing each others tails. He is the god that gave the veer the concept of pure and utter truth and loyalty. He is seen as the God, who then created the spirits to guide his project, the veer, in their day to day lives. He is a god that all the veer follow.

Zoq:

The veeran spirit of plants, it is often portrayed as a large oak tree with countless animals running about it. This spirit is worshiped mainly by those who live in the forests of the island. Zoq is respected by all veer, and as such, none will build anything bigger than a tool from wood.

Vosimr:

The veeran spirit of peace, often represented as three veer standing, all holding hands in a going up fashion. Scouts often hail this spirit as he will often aid them in finding ways to create peace between tribes and other races.

Ceria

Ceria is the Elven God of Cunning, Trickery and Intelligence. Ceria is often referred to as the Laughing God or the Trickster God. Said to be one of the daughter-gods of Brigar, Ceria was the most curious of his children. She participated in the Old War against Utareos, although today she is unique in that she does not really represent either good or evil. She supposedly tricked Rothlyn into releasing a disease upon her own cultists, possibly explaining why she has so few today. She is also said to have tricked an evil deity into flooding his own city. She has a great hatred for all things demonic, and much of her trickery is aimed at Utareos and his followers. She is the patron God of those Elves born without magic and/or has a disability of some kind. This is because she finds it amusing to raise those with pre-conceived flaws, beyond the abilities of her fellow Gods mortal avatars. There is nothing more satisfying to her than watching a Paladin Of Brigar being defeated by a one armed Elf.

EDIT: Oops, I totally shouldn't have thrown this up yet. I'm not even in the RP yet. Sorry, I got so excited and I couldn't stop myself.... :P

Venser, The Sojourner

The Great Archemage of Utareos, vanquisher of the Dread Lich, and the most powerful mage Utareos has ever seen. Venser was born to somewhat humble origins at the outskirts of the citadel which housed The Castle Hawklight. His parents were merchants, simple peddlers of trinkets and crops that they bought from the towns outside the city and sold within the market place. They made a good living, good enough to have actual books for Venser to read as he was growing up. The knowledge was enticing to Venser. He was captivated by the promise of power that it held. Often, Venser would try to get into the Castle to sneak peeks at the books within the royal library. He was usually caught by the guards and thrown into the street. One day, however, he was found by the Court magician, who took Venser to the library. Once inside, Venser nearly passed out from sheer joy. He devoured the contents of the books like a starving man might eat when presented with food. The Court Magician was impressed to say the least, for everything Venser read, he remembered. Finally, Venser stumbled upon the Court Magician's secret stache of books that contained knowledge of magic. Venser was delighted to discover that by speaking the words on the page, he could cast the spells inside. He showed his findings to the Court Magician, who was astonished. He immediately went to Venser's parents, asking permission to taker Venser in as his apprentice. The rest is history. Venser learned far more quickly than his teacher had anticipated and became a powerful magician in his own right. Soon after Venser was finished with his training, war struck the land of men. A man who called himself the Dread Lich was amassing an army of the undead to lay siege to Castle Lighthawk. Venser declared the Lich a coward and sought to fight him personally. The resulting battle was legendary. What was formerly a simple stretch of plains on the outskirts of Castle Lighthawk, became a raging battlefield of arcane energies. So destructive were their spells, that they created a massive steaming crater, which gives off heat even today. Venser's Mirror, the name of the lake created by rainfall and runoff water, is a natural hotspring as a result. It is not heated by fire from beneath the earth, but is instead warmed by the lingering elemental energies given off during Venser's fight with the Lich. The area is naturally warm, and the Mirror is constantly giving off steam. It is often said that looking into the water will give you clarity of mind.
Peace. Love. Life. You've only got one run, why waste it?

The Six Demon Lords of Utareos

In the beginning of Utareos, what we now call the Dark Times, the world was populated only by demon and their kind. There were no other races, no plants or animals to speak of, and the only known god was Utareos, their creator. There was no government or organization, only chaos. Those who had the power made the rules. But there came a time where there were six demons who had more power than all the others. It was as if Utareos himself had crafted them by hand. Each demon took control of one of the six continents of Utareos and became the ruler there. Soon after establishing themselves and making their power clear they started to be called the Demon Lords. When Brigar brought light to the world he weakened the Lords and banished them into the Underdark, never to set foot upon the world in the light of his sun ever again.

There are cults all over Utaroes dedicated to these six demons, who are still the most powerful of their race. Each cult is different, depending on who they worship, and while some are rather docile and cause little trouble, some are feared and known to sow chaos and destruction wherever they go.

Image
Abzelnon-
When the world was young this female lord ruled all of Vynidros, a small continent in the southern hemisphere of Utareos. She has many titles, but her most well known is The Mistress of Death. Under her rule death came swiftly to anyone she even thought may oppose her will, and her cults are just the same. Her followers are known as Deathdealers and have been behind some of the most well known private and public assassinations in history.

Image
Hath'ka-
This demon once ruled the land of Raithica, a continent on the opposite side of the world as Elemnaira. He has am uncountable number of names and faces, but most often he is called either The Gibbering Madness or The Grand Inquisitor. He has the ability to cause madness in anyone who looks upon him in his true form, and as a result his cults also work to cause madness in the world. The priests of the Order of the Inquisitor are given an artifact known as the Gibbering Block. No one knows where they get it from or how many exist but any save for that priest who hear it speak to them will be driven insane.

Image
Iretores-
Once ruler of Marnigorn, a continent covered in nothing but mountains and forests, the place where it is said all bestial races have roots, this is the largest and most powerful of the demon lords, but not the brightest. He is called the Raging Beast by his followers, who are known as The Circle of Blood, and like the Deathdealers they are known for their bloodshed, but rather than quick and painful they go for brutal and bloody. These cults have been known to enter a village one night and leave it soaked in blood the nest morning.

Image
Sa'leem-
Long ago she ruled over Baleer, and in a sense she does so even today. This continent is the most northerly in all of Utareos and very few beings inhabit this frozen waste, but those who do are almost all worshipers of this demon lord. Known as The Hungry One she would eat anything that got close to her whenever she was hungry, and her followers practice the same habits. They are all cannibals who only leave Baleer in search of new food sources to bring home.

Image
Kralkot-
Also known as the Lord of Ashes, he once had full control over all of Heltain, and while he no longer rules this continent, it still has the highest number of demon inhabitants. Nothing ever grows on this continent and it is all thanks to him. In a fit of rage during a fight with his elder brother, Zanarok, he set fire to the entire continent, including himself, reducing every living thing to ashes and burning away all nutrients in the ground. Those who follow him do the same, setting fires in the center and edges of towns or forests and watching them burn, but only when their Lord commands them to do so.

Image
Zanarok-
Eldest of the Lords he is also the wisest among them, and perhaps among all demons. He was the first demon to walk Utareos and is called The Elder. In his time he ruled over Elemnaira itself, and was thought of as the leader of the Six Lords, and because of this he has many cults and followers. Unlike the other cults those who worship him don't seem to have clear goals, and so the followers are not as easily spotted. What little is known about them is that they cause trouble wherever they go.
