The Sisters::


~Abilities~

*Can materialize anywhere he or she wants by concentrating on where it wants to be.

*Cannot pick up things(CURRENTLY). Under duress, in an emotionally charged situation they can move things.

*Can affect the temperature of small areas, creating hot spots or cold spots.

*Can affect electrical currents, i.e. computers, lights, phones and other household electrical devices.(Turning them off or on)

*May manipulate objects that were on their person when they died.

*Do not cast shadows.

*They are not reflected in mirrors or windows.

*They can touch each other.

*Have the ability to pass through solid objects.

*Can inflict physical harm on the living without realizing they are doing so.

*Can visit and communicate with you in your dreams.

*Their appearance can be distorted, even scary such as them having the wounds that killed them. Once they start to interact with the living, they begin to look more like they did when alive, their wounds disappearing.

*Can create unexplainable noises--footsteps; knocks, banging, rapping; scratching sounds; sounds of something being dropped. Sometimes these noises can be subtle and other times they can be quite loud.

*Can cause doors, cabinets and cupboards to open and close- most often, these phenomena are not seen directly. The experiencer either hears the distinct sounds of the doors opening and closing or the experiencer will return to a room to find a door open or closed when they are certain that it was left in the opposite position. Sometimes furniture, like kitchen chairs, are perceived to have been moved. Very rarely will the experiencer actually witness the phenomenon taking place.

*They can cause the living to have the sense of them being touched.

*Can cause the living to hear crying or whispers.

*Can Move or levitate objects- dinner plates sliding across the table; pictures flying off walls; doors slamming shut with great force; furniture sliding across the floor.

*Can physically assault - scratches, slaps and hard shoves.

The Entity::

The being that inhabits the house with the women is merely referred to as 'The Darkness'. The Darkness is merely seen by the women, and eventually the men, as a tall figure dressed in a striped suit and a black hat. His skin is completely black, almost taking on the shade of a shadow. He has no face or facial features. However, when he is around, he causes everyone around to feel nothing but terror and dread. His sole purpose is to cause death. Anneliese has begun thinking that he is the reason her and her sister committed suicide. The Darkness seeks to take the souls of the dead and become immensely powerful by eating their spirits. He is always on the hunt. The sisters' have eluded him for a long time and he will not rest until he has them.
