Available Mechs

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby ZacharyTC on Tue Aug 12, 2014 9:36 am

Here we have a list of mechs, which anyone can contribute to, that can and will be seen in combat. Benjlakki mechs are in blue, while Metargo mechs are in red. Some of these can be customized. As the list increases, you will be seeing mechs specializing in land, air, sea, or space combat. There are even some that do well in a combination of these.

Most mechs have engines for flight, though some, like the Leo Vermillion, do not. That does not mean you cannot add engines to them to that end. Each of these mechs can be customized, to an extent, to suit a character's fighting style. The weapons section of each mech's profile are standard-issue, and can be replaced with others. (the big exception, for the most part, is the Leo Vermillion, the weapons of which can not be changed for technical reasons. the only thing that can be added to it is an engine for flight. everything else can be customized to a higher degree.) The most customizable are the Eagle and the Falcon, as they are meant to be tweaked to suits the pilots' personal needs in battle.

(Inspiration for the transformation aspect of both the Eagle and the Falcon are from a suggestion made by Lufia.)

Name: A3B-7 Eagle
Type: Mech Unit

Appearance: Depending on the shape it takes, it could be jet-fighter-sized (fighter jet mode), or as tall as forty-two feet (humanoid mode). In fighter jet mode, the mech unit looks like a regular jet fighter (with solar panels), with the Benjlakki Republic Insignia and the wings colored brown (all A3B-7 Eagles are currently used by Brown Wing Team, since it is a new and powerful model). In humanoid mode, the mech has a light blue eagle head (where the awareness systems are emplaced, the cockpit and emergency eject systems are in the torso; the cockpit can be ejected through the head when the mech has sustained severe damage or is disabled), while the rest of the body is grey (minus the brown wings folded onto the back).

Weapons: Varies (these models are customizable to suit each pilot's combat style), except for these features: in fighter jet mode, it is armed with twin rapid-fire lasers and twin bullet cannons up front, two sonic missiles and four other missiles (depending on the pilot's preference, capable of launching from inside the shoulders) attached to the wings (the missiles are hidden in a compartment within the torso while in humanoid mode), two rear laser cannons on either side of the tail (the pilot has to switch from front shooting to rear shooting to use these, and vice versa for the forward weapons, unless there are two people inside the unit), and a plasma field shield which surrounds the unit to protect from most enemy fire (the big exception is bullet ammo of certain kinds).

Strengths: fastest mech unit to date (especially in fighter jet mode), high maneuverability, supremely customizable, adaptable to various scenarios (thanks to advanced AI built into the computers), runs on solar energy, lightweight yet durable armor that resists supernatural energy.
Weaknesses: Runs on solar energy; depending on the fighting style the pilot prefers, certain scenarios could leave him/her at a disadvantage.

Name: B3D-9 Cherubim
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: The Cherubim takes on an adult-like humanoid shape, with angelic-like wings and a supernatural engine. The wings are painted silver, while the rest of the unit is white. Up to Thirty-seven feet tall, with the torso being the location of the cockpit, the Cherubim is small enough to maneuver around and fly speedily.
Weapons: Beam Blade (a sword which alternates between metallic and plasma edges), Plasma Oval Shield (metallic shield with a plasma field projector which is turned on or off; equipped for melee), plasma beam rifle (held in one hand), elemental blast rifle (held in one hand), missile launcher (total of 4 sonic missiles, 4 elemental missiles, and 4 regular missiles; stored in magic compartment when not in use).
Strengths: Versatile and numerous
Weaknesses: Versatile and numerous

Name: C4R-6 Praetorian
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: The Praetorian takes on a humanoid shape, the armor making it almost look like a Roman soldier (in our world). The torso is grey, while the legs and arms are painted white, the head decorated with the Benjlakki colors. This unit stands at thirty-five feet tall.
Weapons: Twin Armguard Lasers (on the wrist of the arm attached to the hand which equips the sword), Beam Gladius (a short sword which alternates between metallic and plasma edges), Rectangular Plasma Shield (a metallic shield whith a plasma field projector which turns on or off).
Strengths: High speed, excellent protection up front, great choice for melee
Weaknesses: Focuses on melee (not so great at ranged combat due to the Twin Armguard Lasers' short range), less protection from behind than up front.

Name: 8E4-1 Sabre Bleu
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: Can be up to 40 feet tall, but the overall appearance is that of a blue humanoid in Asian-styled armor.
Weapons: Beam Katanna (alternates between metallic and plasma edges), Double-Bladed Beam Sword (purely plasma edges for portability), Twin Bullet Cannons (located on both sides of the head; range is short), Twin Laser Armguards (attached to each arm; short range), Plasma Field Generator (envelopes the whole unit in a plasma shield which protects from most ammunition; certain metallic weaponry can bypass it)
Strengths: High Speed and Maneuverability; Ideal Melee Mech for the Benjlakki Military
Weaknesses: Not meant for ranged combat (ranged weaponry on this mech is only good for short-distance targets)

Name: 34A-7 REM (Ranged Efficiency Mech; aka Blaster)
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: 38 feet tall, the Blaster looks more robotic in aesthetics than other Benjlakki Mechs. This too has a humanoid-like shape. The colors are usually painted on in a camouflage sort of way.
Weapons: rocket/missile launchers (one on each shoulder; the launchers can each can hold up to six missles/rockets at any given time), high-power beam launcher (blasts a long-range beam which acts in a similar fashion to artillery, firepower-wise; held in two hands), Beam SMG (held in one hand), Beam Rifle (held in one hand), Bullet SMG (held in one hand), Mech Sniper Rifle (held in two hands; can switch between plasma and metallic ammo), Mech Gauntlets (already equipped), plasma field generator (protects against most projectiles; certain metallic weaponry can bypass this)
Strengths: Fast, agile, Ideal Ranged Mech for the Benjlakki Military
Weaknesses: Not meant for melee

Name: RL-5 Falcon
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: In fighter jet mode, it looks like a regular jet fighter, with the Metargo Kingdom Insignia and one of Lion Team (Lion Team is currently the only group of pilots with possession of these). In humanoid mode, this model has a red falcon head (where the awareness systems are, and where the cokpit ejects through from the torso), while the rest of the body is grey.
Weapons: Varies, but in fighter jet mode, it is armed with twin laser cannons and twin bullet cannons up front, one rear laser on either side of the tail (the pilot has to switch from front shooting to rear shooting to use these, and vice versa for the forward weapons, unless there are two people inside the unit), six regular missiles on the wings, and a plasma field shield to protect from most enemy fire (the big exception being bullets of certain kinds)
Strengths: Most durable mech unit to date, second fastest, supremely customizable, adaptable to various scenarios (thanks to advanced AI), high maneuverability
Weaknesses: Depending on the fighting style the pilot prefers, certain scenarios could leave him/her at a disadvantage.

Name: LK-8 Mycenaean
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: 34 feet tall. Has the look of a man in Grecian-like armor, without any color other than grey. An engine is emplaced on the back for flight, when need be.
Weapons: Beam Short Sword (switches between a metallic and plasma edge), Round Shield (with plasma field to turn on or off for additional protection), Blaster Spear (long range weapon which is sort of like a sniper laser, when not used in melee), Missile launchers (come out of the shoulders when needed; up to three sonic missiles, three regular missiles), Beam SMG (held in one hand)
Strengths: Versatile and numerous
Weaknesses: Versatile and numerous

Name: MT-5 Leo Vermillion
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: Pure Lion Mode is roughly 36 feet in length and 18 feet in height, with red and gold colors, having the ascetics of a lion. Humanoid Mode appears to be a giant, muscular person with a lion's head, standing at 36 feet tall.
Weapons: Pure Lion Mode- Blaster cannons on the shoulders and cheeks, plus in the mouth; Beam-Emitting Claws (switches between metallic and plasma edges), Rutinium armor (protects against metallic weapons; useless against plasma-based weaponry); Humanoid Mode Blaster cannons equipped to the wrists and shoulders for intercepting air targets; Beam Claws equipped for melee, when necessary.
Strengths: Pure Lion Mode- High Speed, resistance to metallic weaponry; Humanoid Mode- air control; high maneuverability
Weaknesses: Pure Lion Mode- foes above or below can attack without much fear of interception; Humanoid Mode- usually stationary so to better intercept aircraft, leaving the unit vulnerable to ground attacks.

Name: YM-9 Lama Rossa
Type: Mech Unit
Appearance: Can be up to 40 feet tall, but the overall appearance is that of a purely red humanoid in armor like that of a medieval knight.
Weapons: Plasma Kiteshield (attached to one of the arms for protection up front; can project a plasma field for additional protection), two Beam Swords (alternate between plasma and metallic edges), short range twin lasers and bullet cannons attatched to the sides of the head and on the arms
Strengths: Durable, Ideal Melee Mech for the Metargo Military
Weaknesses: Does not perform so well with ranged (shooting weapons only hit short-distance targets)

Name: 9H-K Red Bolt
Appearance: The Red Bolt has the appearance of a giant robot painted red. Heavy armor has been placed on it for solid protection.
Weapons: Missile/Rocket Launchers (one on each shoulder; each contains up to six missiles/rockets at any time), high power beam launcher (held in two hands; acts much like artillery), Mech Sniper rifle (held in two hands), Beam Rifle (held in one hand), Beam SMG (held in one hand), Beam SMG (held in one hand), Bullet SMG (held in one hand), heavy armor (provides significant protection)
Strengths: highly durable, Ideal Ranged Mech for the Metargo Military
Weaknesses: slower than other mechs; vulnerable to melee mechs that come near.

Re: Available Mechs

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Fantastical-Ducks on Fri Aug 22, 2014 4:21 pm

Name: R23 - 6 Sky Gate [Nicknamed the Raven]

Type: Mech Unit

Place of Making: Metargo

Appearance:

Fighter Jet Mode: Oddly enough The Sky Gate appears smaller then a regular fighter jet and allot lighter in color the wings looking like that of a birds the only Metargo symbol is on the underside of the Jet.

Humanoid Mode: In this mode the pilot will find themselves in a cockpit between the mech's collarbones thus putting the pilot in allot of risk. The mech itself is a bit smaller then would be expected and is not very well armored, with a very slim human like design and a human like head. The raven-like wings present on Mech in Fighter Jet mode get spread around the 'ears' of the mech and on its shoulder blades they are small and not very noticeable and are used as a sort of shield to protect the most at risk parts of mech. The mech itself is colored gold and black with small accents of white,

Weapons: Primarily Melee weapons ranging from dual beam swords [Plasma and Metalic edge available] to any other type of melee that must be specified by the pilot. The only other type of weapons on the Sky Gate aside from melee chosen by pilot are dual plasma canons attached in both fighter jet mode or in humanoid mode of the mech's arm/hands.

Strengths: Small, fast, and precise this is the perfect mech to use in close melee combat for getting in going for the kill and going out. This mech is by far one of the fastest and most deadly if used right.

Weaknesses: Little armor and no weapons in long range leave this mech open to attacks from nearly every corner. This mech is also difficult to use and only certain people have proved efficient and deadly in it.
Fear not the serpent under your rose.
Fear the people plotting under your nose.

For the serpent has no quarrel with you.
But the same cant be said for the people like you.

Re: Available Mechs

Name: R2C-3 Réparateur Bleu
Type: Mech Repair Unit

Appearance: This navy mech is small compared to other mechs, shaped like a ball with four arms armed which have alternating tools stored inside each. The pilot's cockpit is seated at the very center, where, on each side, a camera with a protective visor is located (providing front and back vision, while radar and computers aid to this end while making the most of repair equipment as the pilot conducts the operations through it. As the name implies, it is painted blue.

Weapons: Most equipment is meant for a quick or semi-quick repair in battle, though some tools can be used for combat. The welding laser, for example, can be applied to heat up an enemy mech's armor to the point that it melts, leaving the spot hit vulnerable to a plasma/laser shot. The repair knives and saws can make for makeshift melee weapons, coated with a special paint to resist plasma, heat, and beams, making them handy against a foe with a beam blade. There is only truly one actual weapon meant specifically for fighting: a repeater laser which is located up front and on top, which has less ammunition than other mechs due to most space reserved for repair equipment.

Strengths: Excellent at repairs, great speed and maneuverability, medium range with repeater laser

Weaknesses: Not meant for prolonged confrontations, runs out of ammo quicker than other mechs.
