Another Adventure

Rika sighed as she finally opening her eyes Tedditursa was nuzzling her stomach. And Milotic was resting soundly around her with her head on Rika's lap. Sighing she strached "Come on everyone... Its time to get to Twinleaf." She said to her pokemon looking at her Dragonair that was swimming in the lake she called her over. "Come Air, its time to get going." She called. the returned her to her pokeball. placing the ball on her belt. Then looked at Teddiursa. Placing her soft small hands on her hips. "Teddi..." She started as Teddiursa was hiding behind a tree. "Come on you have to get in your ball."She said staring at her. 'Ursa... Teddi.." she said shaking her head. Milotic was behind Rika looking at the small Teddy bear pokemon sternly. "Fine... come you can sit on with me on Milotic while we go to Twinleaf." She sighed.

She got on Milotics back and placed Teddiursa between her legs. As they floated through the forest. Soon they got to Twinleaf. Sighing she looked around trying to find the pokemon center. She spotted it and got off Milotic patting her head. "Come Mimi. Lets go... " She smiled nodding for her to come follow her. Milotic nodded following. As Teddiursa was in her arms. Looking at all the house. Giggling she patted teddiursa head. "Shhh... Quiet being so nosey Teddi." She laughed as she walked into the pokemon center to get what she came for.

The big machine startled Aja so much that she dropped her paints. It was a good thing they didn't land on the painting because thought it was turning out very well. When they made there announcement she was even more scared. Tears were coming to her eyes. "NO" she screamed as she grabbed hold of the twins and held them close to her. She would never give up the twins. Not even if daddy himself came at her again. The twins looked worried but more for her then for themselves. She clutched them tighter as they licked the tears falling from her eyes. Chikarita took on a defensive stance in front of Aja and let out as loud of a growl as her small body could manage.

"Don' worry. Just please get the eevees to a safe place.. I'll hold them off." he said, calling out Dratini and smiling. "Could you help me a little, buddy?"

Dratini wrapped itself around his shoulders and nodded. "Use Twister!" he said as the small pokemon opened it's mouth and created a whirlwind that enveloped the machine and held it there. "Now Pika! Use Volt tackle and then iron tail!" he said as the yellow mouse ran from his side, encased in bright electricity. He smiled and looked back at Aja, with a worried look on his face, not noticing the ball of flames headed right for him.

"You should get out of here quickly.." he said, smiling at her a bit before getting hit by the fire and knocked onto the ground with his shirt and part of his back burned.

The air was filled with a resounding boom as the metallic machine's circuits overloaded and burst into flames. A few seconds later a second explosion rocket the machine as it hit the ground crumpling. A figure could be seen desperately running away from the scene but Aja was blind to all of this.

Everything seemed to flow in slow motion as she clung to the twins. She felt helpless and destroyed as she watched the fireball slam into Jet's side thowing him to the ground. Aja clawed at the ground trying to stand up but her legs had given out on her. Full of fear she slowly made her way over to Jet's side. She could feel tears running heavily down her cheeks. When she was finally by his side she seemed to sit there as if in a daze. His back wasn't that badly burned, it would scar some but nothing compared to some of the burns she had.

Tentatively she moved him a little bit "Hey Jet?" her tears ran off and were pelting her clothes "Jet???.....come on Jet......." She hadn't known him for long but he had been kind to her. "Wake up Jet" she said brokenly through her tears. Kneeling down next to him she began to cry in her hands. She knew she could heal him fine but she felt so helpless....so worthless....she couldn't do anything but cry. The twins and chikorita were there, trying to comfort her but to no avail.
