I was in a high school this weekend, shooting a film and the posters that the students had put up said STOP KONY 2012. Given the recent revelation of this man, I wasn't sure if that meant stopping Kony himself, as per the plea in the video, or actually stopping Kony 2012, the campaign, and all its associated atmosphere. xD

I thought it was odd they'd bring the issue up now- Kony hasn't been in Uganda for over eight years, he's hiding out in the Congo now and the footage for that movie was taken in 2004. It's a big money-grab in my opinion.
