Honestly, I was thinking the king could be an “npc” that we all control.

However, if you have ideas Crimson throw them at me. I’m TERRIBLE coming up with evil motivations other than the generic, evil for evils sake.

Okays so ideas. My ideas for the King are one, that magic is outlawed in his kingdom and so with him having just conquered this land, it is now outlawed here too which is why Friday's character is being targeted.

In tandem with this one, I thought it would be interesting if despite magick being outlawed by his own word, he is going through lands in search of a magical item or items that would give him -or said to- ultimate power. From there, We can just wing it?

My character would so totally be an unknown magician! Or actually probably more likely is that she knows she has it but never really showed it off much or explored it, especially since the King’s reign.
