When Darkness Does Prevail - No Light Shall Escape
For No One Knows What Is Truth And What Is Lie

And there's a Black Hole in out of space
Pull so strong light can't escape...

For decades scientists have studied these things they call Black Holes, combustions of stars with a pull so strong that not even light can escape their grasps after passing the event horizon. Everything within, hidden from sight. Everything within, supposedly destroyed. Everything within - scientists can only come up with theories as to what goes on past the horizon line.

It is said that nothing can survive a Black Hole, and theories tell us that things named worm holes can provide us with a snitch in time to transport us to another time, another place. Sadly, these are only theories. No one has been able to prove them. Provide more theories, more so called facts and mathematical equations, satellite pictures and concepts, yes. But never been able to provide full blown facts.

However, it is now the year 2097. Sadly, technology hasn't evolved as much as most had hoped. The percent of car use as transportation has diminished rapidly, due to completely insane fuel prices and Global Warming. Australia and New Zealand have banned the use of cars and motorbikes altogether, excluding on farms. Farmer's are provided with fuel for motorbikes, trucks and tractors by the Government.
Travel by plane has become quite popular, and the use of horse (and cart), foot and push bikes have become dominant all over the world.
Approximately one thousand and twelve pairs of feet have stepped foot on the Moon, and NASA comes desperately close to placing human life on Mars.
Sadly, NASA has fallen behind, coming second to a facility in Australia in the world of science and such. ANAASD* has taken over recognition in the world of science, developing some of the most surprising space shuttles and satellites, and much more not available to the public. Scientists at ANAASD, in the year 2056 discovered a cure for cancer through a plant discovered in the heart of the Amazon.

Recently at ANAASD, their largest project yet has been completed, and a mission is in the process of being finalized. A crew of 35 men and women are to depart on the 12th of September aboard the Chaos Akasha* (CA), the first of its kind. Each and every member of the crew have spent the past 10 years training for this mission, throughout the entire time that the CA has been in the process of being built. Each crew member, having undergone as much mental/emotional training as physical and academic, understand that what they intend to do has a high chance of leading to their deaths.

There mission - to leave earth, leave their friends and family, leave their country, leave their lives as they have always known it. Leave Earth, to travel through space... And to enter a black hole. It seems a suicide mission, a waste of 35 good, intelligent, brave men and woman, a waste of 15 years of backbreaking work on the most superb spaceship to ever be created. And yet it will be done.

The CA is made up of three levels. The bottom houses all mechanical side of things, with fuel caskets at either end to balance things out. The second level consists of a galley, crew quarters, weapon storage and what could only be called an attempt at an 'entertainment area'. The control rooms, observation deck and gun deck make up the top level.

Standing around 5'6", Alex has a slim, athletic build with a bit of an hourglass figure. Her light blonde hair cascades in a straight waterfall to the small of her back, and the way she wears it varies from day to day. Her doe-like eyes are an inquisitive bright blue, and she has a peach-ivory complexion.
Her black boots reach just below her knees, her dark blue jeans tucked into them. Her torso is adorned in a white tee on most occasions.

Somewhat strict, Alex likes to think she's not a 'Pretty face'. Stubborn and upfront, she prefers to get things out of the way as soon as they arise. Highly passionate about the mission, CA and her speciality which is Genetic Engineering.

Appearance: She is 5'4" and weighs50kg.She has black long hair which she likes to tie up in a bun.Few people see her with her hair let down.She has beautiful big eyes which is dark brown and double eyelids.Her skin was tanned and she always wear jeans with a tank top,sometimes with a black leather jacket,unless it was really cold.
Weapons: Swiss Army Knife with 'S.A' carved on it

History: She decided to drop out of school and go for this training after she saw a poster about it.She was 15 then.Before that,she had lived in Melbourne with her parents.They weren't on good terms.during her stay here,she made a few good friends.However,even these good friends don't get to see her with her hair let down.

Name: Vulcan Scevola

Position aboard the CA: Weapons Officer
Appearance: Lightly tanned skin and pony-tailed black hair are the most mentionable of Vulcan's physical features, along with an obsidian tattoo of a tribal rune which is printed on his left arm, and a fire-like tattoo in the same color on his right. These two prints are thought of as 'lucky' to the Officer, but of course, they're just tattoos. His clothing consists of a black T-shirt and white pants made from sturdy material, along with simple buckled boots. His revolver is stashed onto a red harness attached to his chest, rather than on the crimson belt around his waist, and is occassionally hidden by a favored white overcoat (Sleeveless, for some odd reason) of his. The very same white overcoat is capable of stashing quite a few bullets as well.
Weapons: A remake of the Colt Python, complete with a six shot cylinder, 8" barrel, and a striking nickle finish, is the most treasured of Vulcan's guns, and just about the only one he uses. Naturally, of course, as the Weapons Officer, he has access to a large variety of weapons, including rifles and even small cannons, but even with such firearms, he prefers his 'lucky' Colt Python. He does, however, carry a small pocket knife on his person, and a long-ranged rifle in his quarters.

Name: Francesca Neal Malcom (She goes by Neal instead of Freancesa)
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Position aboard the CA: Geologist

Appearance: Neal is fair skinned from her Russian and Irish heritage, but her once pale color has become tan from wroking in the sun for hours on end. She stands at a height of 5'9" and weighs about 135 pounds, which is the right weight for her more brawny frame and height. Her cheek bones are dusted with small dark freckles. Her jaw structure is slightly more angular then what is typical for a female's jaw shape to be but Neal makes it work. Her nose bares a knot in the bridge from being broken a few times in her younger years. Neal has slightly almond-shaped eyes that encase her expressive steel grey irises. Now her hair, her light muddy water colored hair, has a mind of its own. It used to be straight once upon a story then it started to curl into wild waves in its jaw-lenght stretch. As far as clothing goes Neal tends to wear baggy shirts and pants when she is not doing feild work. But when Neal is working the the feild she usaully wears kakki colored cargo pants and vest over a grey tank top. No matter where she is Neal always wears her scuffed up and worn in work boots and her Carnielian pendent necklace.

Personality: Neal is laid back, you barely see her feathers get ruffled. Also she manages strict at the same time. Neal doesn't take direct orders to well, though she would respect them to an extent. She very often tries other peoples patience on purpose, and loves to find what makes them tick. Neal has a trade mark guttor-mind and sailor's mouth. She uses foul language of any kind from English or anyother language that comes to mind. She likes to joke around and have a good laugh when she is in the mood, and it doesn't matter with who. She doesn't really regard anyone as enemies because she will say, "In my friends are enemies and in my enemies are friends."

Weapons: Her Laguiole knife that she takes everywhere.

Name: Patrick Murphy

Age: 33

Gender: male

Position aboard the CA: Chief of Security

Appearance: A large man, of both height and bulk, Patrick stands at six feet, four inches tall and has plenty of muscle mass. Clean shaven with his red hair buzzed short and flat. He doesn't have any tattoos or birthmarks that anyone else knows about. Normally dresses in standard Army Combat Uniform with the MP patch.

Personality: Loyal and by the book

Weapons: A Benelli M3T shotgun, M1911A1 pistol and a taser

History: Patrick had joined the United States Army at seventeen and was trained as an MP. He also attend officer training and gained the rank of Second Lieutenant before being transferred to the detachment guarding NASA's buildings. When he turned 22, Patrick was sent over to ANAASD as a good will exchange for the Chaos Akasha project. During the ten years of training for the mission, he was awarded the rank of Lieutenant, then Captain in the United States Army.
