Azurelilly traveled the road, feeling the warmth from the sky disapear. However she could not help but to feel wonder for this blanket of stars, its bright sky twinkling so pure. Her eyes fell on the silver moon, which was slowly raising over the oncean, giving its water a look of almost silver brilliance. Seeing the waves crash on shores as she felt the wind pick up, blowing its warmth over her.
Still, her heart was heavy, the blade across her back weighing her down at the possibility of what might happen. Her walk that of a woman who carried the weight of the world on her shoulders. "This is no game," she thought, her mind echoing, "this is their lives..."
In the distance, she saw a camp fire, and she began to walk there, cutting through the grass. Each of her steps slightly quieted by the fierce wind, her hair blowing away from her. The song of trees and grass swaying greeted her. As the reached the camp fire she could see the man, his body slain, a gory mess in the firelight. She walked over, smelling the coppery smell of blood, and seeing the man was naked, she looked away. He had been robbed, only recently it seemed, and stabbed in the heart. Her yes begin to well up with tears as she seen this, however, she bent down, and the blood was very hot, this man had died only minutes ago....
Hearing laughter, she quickly hid herself, lieing down in the tall beatiful grass, and seeing the band gather around the fire, ignoring the corpse, their laughter uproarous. They spoke in a language she had never heard of, but when one of the men grinned and kicked the corpse, she felt hatred raise.
No longer caring for stealth, she drew the long heavy blade as she stood up, one word emiting from her mouth, "Murderers..." she ran forward, her character with a speed almost impossible to accomplish in real life, she swung the heavy blade, striking a man down, his screams suddenly causing her regret.
"Why am I doing this?!" she thought, feeling a blade cut across her fingers, she began to slash quickly. Her kendo training helping her character move in amazing ways. Within moments she had overwelmed these enemies, their slain and terrified faces stuck in her mind.
She shook her head, and quickly sheathed the big weapon. She grabbed the body of the man lying there, and taking the theives packs, she walked back to the city. The same warm winds that greeted her seemed to be pushing her away now, as if even the wind knew about her murder.
The body of the man seemed incredible light as she carried it on her shoulders, she had even dressed it before she left. A gaurd immediantly stopped her at the grand gates, yet Azurelilly gave him such a look, that he allowed her to pass without further incident....
Finally stopping at the door of the woman she had seen, she lightly knocked. Moments later she apeared, and seeing the body, she let out a wail. Azurelilly held her, crying slightly as she did, and pulled her away after a moment, gently lying the sword and the packs she had taken from the theives there. "Im sure there are things in there to help pay you for your loss.." she said, knowing that nothing would pay for the lost of a loved one. She walked away, and found herself weeping. She had killed somone. This was not a game she cried, it was the real world.
Walking into an alley of the city, she fell sleep to the flow of the oncean, tears staining her face....
