Okay folks, epilogue is up and so is a new set of jobs.

Just to clear up confusion, I'm expecting one more character to show up this week, which is why there's one extra job.

So just to be clear, am I choosing one of the jobs as well, or am I taking the letter at the end to basically continue the investigation for the Legrand Murder? (Which is now also tied into the Nansoko case)

I'll throw my hat in the ring for The Lady of War. Luciana doesn't like being shot at. Nor does she like arm-dealers or terrorists.

It sounds like a mission right down her alley, especially with the high chance of action. She is, however, a bit annoyed since her ego took a dent; Luciana thought it was her fancy flying that let her escape, darn it, and she wants to know why the heck those terrorist thugs let her go. Perhaps this crazy arms dealer can give her an answer.

Totally open and excited to doing a collab, but I'm also cool with writing it alone if need be.

Ha, you caught me Dae. So yes I was trying to railroad you guys into writing a collaborative mission. I wanted to see if you guys would enjoy doing a collab piece and maybe I could start posting more of those assignments earlier. Wanted to get a feel for how you guys collaborate. It's a new dimension, certainly opens up lots of possibilities.

Or maybe you guys are like total loners, and writing with other players is like the sunlight to your inner vampire. No hate here.

While the post recommends 2 agents, you can go solo regardless. Though, that might affect the epilogue, so we'll see.

Well, Chief Kyung might be a cynic, who knows, maybe Luciana's skills really did get her out. As for this mystery women, yes, that escalated rather quickly on my end.

I think I'd like to do that collab, Dae. Vitali done messed up good and is looking to redeem himself. Since this mission is expected to go loud, he couldn't possibly mess it up. Probably. Plus, I'd like to write Vitali interacting with other players.

Glad you mentioned interaction. The other OOC thread is available for that very thing. I keep that there for those weeks when I take a little longer with an epilogue, or when you guys are really drinking coffee and just want to write some stuff on the side for your character. It's great for character development and interaction. You guys can figure out how do to the latter bit, I figure through PMs. and under the table deals. It's not required, so no pressure.

Would this roleplay still be open to new players? I know I was the first to show up, but it looks like I'm the last to create anything lmao. I have some information floating around about that half-robo character,
but at this point I'm not sure if joining in might put a nick in the story so far. I'll go ahead and bring over that info to the site (is there a way for me to have a character profile on here without directly submitting it to a roleplay?) but I'll wait before submitting her.

If not, that's alright. I'd hate to mess up what's clearly had a lot of work and care put into it. :)

No worries, you can still float in a character sheet. The game's pretty flexible, so I can take on new roleplayers any time. As for a character profile, you can try posting in one of the OOC forums on the site. I think the Character Journals forum is for that purpose, I'm not sure.

Edit: So, for those not in the know about Dae Mec's situation. They are in Florida and bracing for Hurricane Irma's impact. Rather than wait for them, I've decided to push the previous week's missions into this next week's epilogue. That way we can introduce our new friend and get the ball rolling again since inactivity can kill writers pretty quickly. Given how busy I am going to be this week, I'll probably have the post up on Saturday at the earliest. Keep checking the OOC for updates.
