School of the Swords

The school of swords appears to be a normal school. But in reality the students carry swords with them. Some students are masters of kendo, bushido or even kobudo.
Fights get started every once in a while. The subjects are math, biology, chemistry, physics, PE, philosophy, swordhandling, hand to hand combat and agility class. There are sometimes tournaments at school.

Name: Mori Shinbo
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black hair, green eyes. He is tall and has an athletic build. He normally wears a yukata. He has a short chin beard.
Bio: He grew up as an only child in a poor family. He dreams of becoming an government agent and living a better life. He is often optimistic but can be serious at the same time.
Sexuality: Bi-sexual
Weapon: He uses an Odachi he calls Yori. It suits him because he is able to wield the long sword with his long arms where smaller people cant.
Abilities: He is able to keep calm in difficult situations. He is very skilled with the Odachi.

Gender: Girl
Appearance: Short with long black curly hair that is usually straightened and in pigtails. She has a missing tooth that adds to her younger look usually with T-shirt that have weird words saying or images. Her height is below average and she is really skinny with the smallest hands and feet ever to be.
Bio: She grew up with her mother and step-Father and little half sister. Her biological father was never in the picture until she was 7 and absent children popped up every two years as sisters and not just from the bio dad. She isn't rich but not poor but she is spoiled more then most people.
Sexuality:Bisexual
Weapon: smaller sword that she never really hold only like once a week
Abilities:She is really quick and being small helps her out and jumping around she seems inpossible to catch.
Favourite subjects: Math
Other: She is usually alone hming a song to her self in her higher pitch angel-child like voice

Mori was on his way to school when he noticed a person yelling: "Thief! Help, I have been robbed!" Suddenly the thief ran towards him. Mori droped his sword and the thief tripped over it. "Are you going to steal my sword too?" Mori said to the thief and kicked him. Then Mori picked up his sword. The police ran to the thief and arrested him. Then Mori turns around to see his school. Mori went over to the Big tree in front of the school and sat down. "Ahhh. Another school year with new people to meet.

Bella was under a tree when she heard a cry for help and she turned her head to soo the person tripping and being kicked and then other boy was walkin her way and jumped up in the tree. Not really caring she went back to listening to her music and hming along closing her eyes and nodding her head. She loved her music and if she was with out it going crazy would be what wuoold happen to her. The school year was going to be so crazy and she knew it but what scared about it and not wanting to get into any fights.
"Blah not cool," she said to herself out.

Mori was in the tree trying to balance his sword, Yori, on his fingertips. Then he notices a girl coming into the schoolyard. She was listening to music. Mori jumped from the tree and walked up in front of the girl. "Ahh, a new face. Welcome." Mori said to the girl. "What type of music are you listening to?" Then he took a seat on the near bench. "First let me introduce myself. I am Mori and this is my sword Yori."

She quickly took her earphones and smiled at him, "I'm ClaraBella but you can call me Bella or Bell. Classical is what i was listenimg to but Im not sure the title" He seemed nice and bigger then her that put her at unease. The sword reminded her of her sword thjt she must of lost.

"Nice. I play my own music." Mori said and pulled out a long flute. Then he played a charming tune. Halfway through the song the bell rang. "Since I am a good swordfighter I will be one of the school guardians. This is how it works: there are the fighting arts classes in the morning and the average school subjects are in the afternoon from 11:45 til 2:00. New students are assigned to guardians who instruct them in some fighting classes. Each guardian teaches two newbies. The classes with guardians are taught outside of the schoolgrounds. Mostly the students are allowed to decide where. You will find the list to which guardian you are assigned to in the main entrance. See ya later, Bell."

ClaraBella laughed at being called a newbie and she shook her head looking down. He could tell she was new and not really know any thing about the school.
"Oh yeah and that flute that's cool i play voilia, and can you walk me to the er . . .. thinger I dont know where it is heh?" she laughed nervously rubbing the back of her head and putting her earphones back in.
This school already seemed to complex for her to remember anything. But she would have to learn or get some kind og really smart friend.

They walked into the main hall where the lists were hanging: At the bottom of one of the lists it read "ClaraBella Eclipse Solstice assigned to Guardian Shinbo Mori" "I guess you are stuck with me after all" Mori said to Bella. "Cmon lets go to the welcoming ceremony. After that we can start."

Smiling she checked the list again to make ssure and clapped jumping up and down. Having Mori was better then meeting another person she would have to met over again. He seemed cool to her and he knew what he was doing.
"Yeah that's awesomeful we have each other!" she said nodding, "So this welcome thinger where is it?"

"Since this is a relatively small school (350 students), it takes place at the gym. At the ceremony they will tell the rules and some other stuff. The ceremony takes about 15 minutes." Mori explained to Bella.

At the ceremony: "Welcome new students and guardians! This year we have 55 new students. The rules are simple: 1. Stay with your guardian when leaving the school grounds during schooltime. 2. No fights without permission of teachers or elite guardians (students that are responsible enough) 3. You are required to wear a uniform during the normal school subjects in the afternoon. Uniforms are rank bands (come as wristbands or chokers) which colors represent the grade your in white for freshmen, blue for sophomore, red for juniors and black for seniors. These rank bands are supposed to be worn throughout schooltime. While the school jacket only needs to be worn in the afternoon. As alternatives you can wear as ninjas normal clothes with fishnet undershirts or as samurai yukatas or short kimonos. The rank bands are available up front." Said the director. "You are dismissed. Have a nice school year.

"I think the idea with the uniforms is a little much." Mori told Bella.

"This bites!" she complained put her hand on her hip whining.

"Come on lets go! Where would you like to go?" Mori said and then smiled at Bella. "We can put some fun into school!"

"Cool!" she exclaimed then stopped because she didnt know to do," Lets go do stuff!" she hopped up smiling

"Lets go to the park to get to know each other better." he said and grabbed her arm. On their way Mori said: "I am Mori Shinbo, heir of the small and poor Shinbo wind clan. I like to hang out with friends. I used to have a male lover. But something happened. Tell me more about yourself."

"Im just have aweird family my mom just died I lived with my step dad and one of my 12 siblings . They come from my biodad and step dad. " she smiled . Spending time with him was funner then she thought, " I just broke up with my girl friend."

Mori and Bella went into the park. Mori took a seat on the warm soft grass and started to played his flute. It was a beautiful song. After a couple minutes he stopped. "Ok we should start with the first lesson. Since you havent got stuff on that are loose enough for swordpractice neither a sword, then I will just show you. Or do you have a sword and a short skirt or a kimono in your bag?"

She shook her head and sat next to him looking at her flute and seeing how he old it might be. Bella didn't have any sword type things with her she felt unconfortable with them like she had to use it or she would be in danger. "Sorry swords just arent really that amazing to me."

"I can teach you different things. Swords class is basic training. Next year you can pick what you major in. There is archery, alchemy, medical sciences and stealth class." he said. "There are different styles of swordmanship: elegance, speed, tactics, strength and precision. I use speed and elegance. It could be useful for you sometime. My boyfriend was shredded by criminals because he didnt see any purpose for a sword. I could make you a different weapon if you dont like swords, for example a cresent, a kama or a hammer."

(After all this is kind of like a parallel universe where the modern age is mixed with the primitive defense technology of feudal times. XD)

"Oh a cresent sounds cooler then said can i see one?" she asked.
ClaraBella could tell thing was going to a "Fun" thing trying to learn to defend her small self. Other then she size was was very smart and qucikly and it seemed like she could jump high and fit abot anywhere she wanted. Maybe she would be a good fighter type person after all?
