Lur glared at the girl.

He lowered his bow slowly, yet was ready to move to action if he saw any hostilities on the girls side.

"Very well. Now tell me your business here"

Aki shrugged. 'No business,' she said. 'Is it a crime to talk to people now?'

"Arg!" Kitsu slumped onto the ground once more, holding her head in her hands. A dizzy sickness was beginning to come over hr and she groaned softly as the pestering voices continued to talk hostilly to eachother.
"Can't you just... Relax a little?" She spoke to no one in particular, and her voice was slightly gruff.

"Kitsu..." Lur reslung his bow and walked closer to Kitsu. Bending down, he picked her up and put her over his shoulder.

"Gah. You should have let me come with you... Well. Let's get you to the camp." He turned to leave, but stopped and turned back. " You can come along with us if you want. We can talk more at the camp"

As she was slung over Lur's shoulder, Kitsu olled her eyesat the girl suddenly, then let her body slump as Lur began to carry her back to the camp.
"You always were the extrordinary gentleman, Lur" She said humourously and inaudibly.

Akishra watched them, and heard the invitation. After deciding she had nothing better to do, she fell in behind, but couldn't help but feel angry.
She saw how close Lur was to Kitsu, and it bothered her. She thought she'd heard something, as well, though she couldn't be sure. She wondered with all her being how anyone could get that close to a man and not realise the imminent danger they were in.

They trudged along towards the camp. IT was a still night. Quiet. One that you would expect an attack in. Lur stayed on guard. And had his friends that surrounded him, and informed of any oncoming attack. Finally, after what seemed like an endless trek to him, they reached the camp. Laying Kitsu on her blanket, and rolling his blanket under her head to support it, he lit the fire.

Kneeling down next to Kitsu. He checked her temperature. "A slight fever." He took a towel out of his bag and soaked it in cold water from his water sack. He laid it on Kitsu's head.

He turned back to the girl. "So. What are you doing out here on a night liek this?"

Aki glanced at him. 'I could be asking you the same question.' She sat down, and made sure she chose a place far away from him. No matter where he was, she always kept an eye on him. She figured the only reason Kitsu slept calmly in his pressence was her fever.

He thought a second on how much he should tell her...

" Kitsu was on a mission. What it was, she refused to tell me" He checked on Kitsu again "And she refused for me to go along too far with her. I waited for a long time, and then I found her again. With a fever and almost unconcious. In your company..."

He looked at the girl questioningly.

"Now. You still haven't answered my question"

Aki crossed her arms over her cheast. 'I was walking in the forest,' she said. 'I'm coming through here - don't ask why, there's no good reason. I found Kitsu, and I was curious. That's it.'

Aki began to get tired. Reaching into a pouch behind her cloak, she pulled out some dried meat, and began to chew. As she does, a man comes running up.
'Akishra,' he said, panting. 'Akishra!'
'Yeah?' she replied.
'Message for you,' he said, holding out a folded note. Aki noded, thanking him, but kept her distance, and watched the man until he was out of sight. Then she sat back down, and read the note. As she reached the bottom, her face grew dark.

As she had been carried back ot the camp kitsu had lapsed in and out of sleep, slowly aquiring a fever. Now, as she was layed down she let the sleep wash over her once again. There were people talking aound her, but their words were incoherent mumbles ot her ears, and she felt a cool rag pressed against her forhead. She releshed it, the mix of coolnesss and heat was perfect.
As the two spoke, her fever was rising, and somehow her senses heightening. Her forhead burned despite the cool rag on her face, and her skin prickled. Adarkness washed over her, but not the darkness of sleep. It was torturable, resembling the darkness from the tombs, the arch-way.
Kitsumi sat up with a start, her breath quick and rapid. The rag fel from her face and she scrambled onto all fours. The girl was reading, her face darkening at the prospect of what the note offered.
"Holy shit. What is that!"
Kitsu was staring behind the girl where a hazy mist was rising amongst the trees, then she blinked and it was gone. Kitsu looked around her, her pretty eyes startled and her breathe quick and sharp as if she had just run 10 miles with out stop.

Aki looked up at Kitsu, then behind her, then back at the note. She looked back up at Kitsu.
'You,' she began, then, hearing how shakey her voice was, cleared it, and began again. 'You feeling okay?'

Aki heard the people comming, then felt the Darkness engulf her. Feeling scared, she dissepated it from the area surrounding her, then cleared it away from Lur and Kitsu as well. But she kept an outer shell of Darkness - best keep their attackers confused.
This would take a lot of energy. She hoped she could keep it up.
Her grip tightened around the letter, and she felt her throat constrict as well. Swallowing past the lump in her throat, she worked hard to prevent the Darnkness from comming back. She bit her lip.
Yes. This would certainly take a lot of energy.

Lur looked at Kitsu. And took her temperature. The fever was getting worse. He leaned down and applied herbs to her stomach area and to her forehead. When he looked up the girl, she seemed like she was slowly choking.

"Are...you ok?" At the time he got a mental note from one of the surrounding animals. there was a disturbance in the area. He quickly got up and took his quiver and bow into his hands and watched cautiously.

Kitsu allowed Lur to apply the herbs, but the disturbance was thick in the air. lur hadn't noticed it yet, but Aki had. Kitsumi scrambled back up, searching the surroundings trees for a sign of the disturber. She knew who it was, somehow. And she was strangley terrified. Thoughts of the Tombs f;ashed through her mind as she continued to search the darkness, hey gaze penetrating as a man to a young virgin. Kitsu saw Lur pick up his bow out of the corner of her eye, and she saw Aki losing control of something. Kitsu sent her strength out to her, willing it, impatent and still searching.
