Walking Around

[Lucy Knox]

Lucy giggled a little. When Caleb started cheering she remembered the game and went back to trying to pay attention.

Haley scored a goal and he stood up and screamed for her.
"Thats it Haley!!! WAHOO! Keep it going!"

Lucy was just about to stand up with him before deciding against it, although she did scream and clap loudly for his little sister.

The game was over and they started heading back to the car. "Lucy, do you want to join us for an early dinner? It consists of Tv Dinners" He made a theatrical face and laughed. "How wonderful.."

Lucy looked over at him as he said that. "It doesn't really matter. What time is it anyways?" Almost falls with the crutches and goes back to paying attention to that.

He laughed and held out his arm, just in case. "Its like 4 or so..." He said. It had been a long game. They all got in the car and he began to drive towards his house. "I previously apologize for the mess.."

"Ok. And don't worry. my room is pretty bad in case you ever come over." Lucy smiled as he drove to his house.

He hoped he would. He laughed. "Yea..well you look like you are a pretty clean girl, so we may have different definitions of messy" He led her inside. "Actually i just cleaned this morning" He remembered. He led her to the couch.

"I highly doubt that." She smiled as they pulled up to his house, and let him lead her inside. "Oh, it's not bad in here!" Luc said, sitting on the edge of the couch.

He smiled. "You should have seen it before i cleaned" He laughed and went into the freezer for the food. "Haley can you set up the tv trays" He asked.

"I'm sure it couldn't have been that bad." Lucy smiled, just sitting there. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She didn't like just sitting down while other people did something.

"UH, yea you can sit down and pick a channel" He laughed and popped them in the micro while Haley set up the three trays.

"Hmph. Alright." Luc sighed, staying sitting down and fumbling for the remote, and starting to flick through channels, looking for something good on.

He set the dinners in front of them. It was a pizza and mac and cheese kit. He laughed at himself. He couldn't believe he was feeding her this.

Lucy smiled at Caleb. "Thank you. Now what's funny?" She stopped at whatever the tv was on, which was some odd movie she had never heard of before.

"Oh nothing.." He sat down. "Im sorry...this isn't a proper dinner for you but..its all we have right now..i have to go shopping tomarrow.." He sighed and bit into his pizza.

"How is it not a proper dinner? Pizza is amazing!" Lucy smiled, taking a bite of her own pizza. It actually was pretty good. It had been a while since she had had a tv dinner and had forgotten how much she liked them.

HE laughed. "Well im glad you like it. Haley stop playing with your food" HE scolded softly.

Lucy laughed too. "What's there not to like?" She smiled, staying quiet as he told his sister to stop playing with her food.

He shrugged and watched the tv for a moment, the light from it flashing back on his face, making him look even more godly. He finished his dinner and took their empty plates and threw them out. "I'll be right back" He took the trash outside to the garbage can and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He needed a fix. He lit it and sighed, relaxed now.
