Lucy nodded, letting him do what he needed to do. The girl just sat back and watched the television, wondering what was taking Caleb so long.

He leaned against the doorframe and closed his eyes for a few minutes. He was getting tired. Tired of not being able to live his life because he was too busy being a "parent" to his sister. Where was his mother all the time? Off at work or who knows where...

She continued to sit there, wondering what was taking him so long, and hoping he hadn't fallen or gotten hurt some way. Luc just leaned back, and watched the people on the television without paying much attention to what they were actually doing.

HE finally came back up, not wanting to leave her too long. "Hey sorry..." He said and sat back down, not really meeting her eyes. He smelled like smoke.

Lucy smelled him, but didn't say anything, and noticed how he wouldn't meet her eyes. "It's ok. What took you so long?" She looked up at him, trying to find out what was wrong, and why he smelled like he did.

"The trash bag broke, so i had to pick up all of it and find a new trash bag" He put on a disgusted face. "it was gross..." he sat down.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I bet it was gross." Lucy said, giving him a small, simpathetic smile. She felt that there was something he wasn't telling her, but decided better than speaking on those thoughts.

He went into the kitchen and stood over the sink, washing his hands and staring out the window. He didn't know what to do anymore

Luc just continued to sit there. There wasn't anything she could do, so she just gave up. If we wanted to talk to her then he would, but he obviously didn't want to.
