Werewolf/ Vampire/ Spellcaster – A High School RP [M]
An RP Inspired by School of Monsters, a friend and my imagination running rapid……..
Rated M for Mature due to violence and mature situations. This is a multi-chapter RP.
Not many know of the war between the three tyrants of myth and legend. Long ago there was an outbreak, a war between the three dominant races. The war lasted a very long time, a silent war that occurred under the noses of humans. The cause of the war was power. Each race wanted to rule over the other but to no avail. The war caused great pain and destruction and after each race nearly drove the other to extinction, there was a sudden stop. Everything calmed down and the war seemed to cease.
Till this day the war has remained silent but the three tyrants still have a strong dislike for one another, a dislike that threatens to reveal their way of life to the humans. How can the war remain silent if the children of the covens attend school with one another and the children maintain the same hatred their parents do?
In the town of Whistling Heights, the Vladimir Coven, the Winters Coven and the Talismen Coven all reside on separate ends yet their children all attend Whistling Heights High. It is a newly built school with new intentions. It now caters to the studies of spellcasters, the studies of vampires and the studies of werewolves. In other words it is specifically made to teach spellcasters, vampires and werewolves as well as humans. Whistling Heights High is an interesting school headed by Maestro Lewis, a unique Headmaster who has employed those neutral parties who don’t mind teaching other races. Can this school bring an end to the dislike or will it only escalate the problem to higher heights?
THE COVENS
Vampire Covens
The Vladimir Coven is the strongest Vampire Coven in the entire world. Their strength, skill and stealth surpass all other vampire covens. The Coven is headed by three elder vampires. Nicholas Vladimir, Santra Vladimir and Heris Vladimir are siblings with a special gift bestowed upon them. When one is active, two are asleep in order to conserve their energy and give each a time to rule. Heris is the strongest of the three brothers and had two sons. Santra had no children and Nicholas killed his offspring when they attempted to overthrow him.
The Michaels Coven is known for their stealth; however, there is no known survivor of the Michaels Coven. It is said that there was one heir to the Michaels Coven who was sent to live with humans. It is not clear as to if this heir is still alive having to live with the very food he or she eats.
The Augustine Coven is known for their shadow abilities. All vampires have the ability to manipulate shadows, but the Augustine Coven can do so much more than simple manipulation. This coven is headed by two elder vampires Sanatra and Victomis. Sanatra is the eldest and rules with an iron fist, however, Victomis is far more lenient and more just. Each of them has two offspring.
Werewolf Covens
The Winters Coven the strongest Werewolf Coven ever to have graced the earth. Their animalistic instincts are to be feared. They have mastered the ability to transform without the full moon, however, when there is a full moon, the Winters Coven grows more powerful and is able to use the gift of the full moon to boost up their strength and allow them to use a form of wolf magic. The Winters Coven is led by Victor Winters. His wife, Nicole Winters gave birth to four boys. Only male offspring could carry on the legacy of their father. Their speed is unmatched by any other Werewolf Coven.
The Blackedge Coven is the second strongest Werewolf Coven. They are the best when it comes to stealth kills and unseen actions. Silent but deadly is their motto. They are headed by Mario Blackedge. His wife was killed in the war long ago but she left him three beautiful children all the same age and care for their father deeply.
The Bloodfang Coven is the third strongest Werewolf Coven. They specialize in martial arts, knowing different ways to battle whilst in their human form as well as in their werewolf form. They take pride in fighting and enjoy the thrill. They aren’t stealthy and aren’t as fast as the Winters Coven, but what they lack in those aspects, they make up for in skill. The Bloodfang Coven is headed by Nyillo Bloodfang, a strong werewolf who produced two offspring thanks to his lovely wife Sarah.
Spellcaster Covens
The Talismen Coven rules over all other Spellcaster Covens. Their symbol is that of the Phoenix which represents life as well as destructive power. There is but one ruler and his name is Alexander Talismen. He has a wife, Courtney Talismen as well as three sons, Jontae Talismen, Xavier Talismen and Andre’ Talismen. The Talismen Coven is known for their destructive power and strong spell casting abilities as well as their phoenix mark which grants them the control of a single element. The phoenix mark is only bestowed on the royal family, therefore only Jontae, Xavier, Andre, Courtney and Alexander have such a mark. There are elders in this coven, three to be precise, their names are not important but they make sure things run smoothly. The eldest son is Xavier whilst Andre and Jontae are the youngest.
The Ravenus Coven is a notable coven under the rule of the Talismen Coven. They are the dispatchers when Alexander Talismen needs someone killed or removed. They are stealthy and are more like ninjas than anything else. They deal mostly with shadow magic. Their symbol is that of a black Raven.
The Serpeni Coven is a notable coven under the rule of the Talismen Coven. They are the oracles of the Talismen Empire. They reveal bits of the future to Alexander, enough of it to allow him a slight advantage. They deal mostly with mental magic. Their symbol is that of a green Serpent.
THE RACES
Vampire – Bloodsucking demons of the dark, vampires have super strength and speed and an ability to use shadow magic. They can lure their prey in with their irresistible scent and eyes. Vampires have found a way to walk around in the sunlight but only temporarily for if they stay in the sun for too long they will burst into flame. Around 5 to 10 minutes. They are weak to holy water and cannot digest garlic. Even a touch from garlic can cause burns.
Werewolf – Vicious wolves with the ability to stand on their hind legs, these beasts can take on a human form. Whilst in their human form they still match the strength and speed compared to vampires. They must stay in control of their emotions or they may lose control and lash out. They are weak to silver and, if damaged severely with silver, can die.
Spellcaster – Lacking in strength compared to the vampire and werewolf, they make up for it with their magic and speed. Mana fuels their magic and they seem to have a limited supply. The more Mana used in a spell, the more weakened a Spellcaster becomes and must recharge. As such the more powerful a spell the more Mana it drains. Like Vampires and Werewolves they too are semi-immortal and at the age of 27 stop aging until they reach the age of 300, in which their spirit and soul catch up with their age and thus they begin the final years of their life. They are fast, able to move seemingly in a blink of an eye from one location to the next. Be not fooled, they are strong but not as strong as the werewolf and Vampire.
Human – Unbeknownst to them, they are in the middle of warfare. They are your normal run of the mill human with no special abilities whatsoever; however, there are special few who are chosen by the three races to become one of their own. The human is a food supply to the vampires and mere hunted prey for the werewolf. They can be taught how to use their inner energy, Ki, to produce blasts but the blasts are weak and do hardly any damage unless trained for years.
Other – You are allowed to use a different race but keep in mind that Werewolves, Vampires and Spellcasters are the dominant races and there aren’t many other races that match their dominance aside from Humans. If you do decide to use a different race, describe their strengths and weaknesses.
THE RULES
1) Follow site rules.
2) We know of the “no godmodding, auto hitting, etc.” rule so please don’t break it. Although Auto hitting is against the rules, in some cases it is needed and thus I will allow it in some cases.
3) Have fun. At least a paragraph of legible text pertaining to the plot is required, however, I understand how life can be and thus I am only asking that you post at least once or twice every other day, if you can’t post for some reason please post in the OOC why or PM me.
4) Treat others the way you wish to be treated and be fair. If a fight occurs between two characters, follow rules and have fun with it.
5) My word is law; if you cannot follow directions please don’t even sign up. If you know you are one of those people who enjoys godmodding, please don’t sign up.
6) Romance is encouraged, have fun with it, go on dates, kiss, fall in love, commingle etc. but it shouldn’t go pass kissing; anything beyond kissing must be done in PM format. All excessive scenes go to PM. I thought I’d mention it in order to cover those grounds.
