Alessa Da Luca was running.
She wasn't sure what she where she was running to, but she knew why she was running.
Alessa Da Luca was running for her life.
She didn't want the Seekers to find her. She didn't want to be changed yet. To be changed ever. She had her mind. She had her body. She had her life. All hers. She didn't want to give up everything she had lived for, had striven for and fought against, namely the Souls.
The Souls, in most of the human's opinions, were terrible, evil beings, taking over the human race.
But they wouldn't get to the Runners. The Runners are a groups of people that have opposed the Souls. As far as she knew, Alessa and her sister were the only Runners still alive.
Will Alessa find other humans Running for their lives? Or will the Seekers find her and her sister's camp... And any others?

Alessa has dark blonde hair that falls to just passed her shoulders, and dark blue eyes. She is relatively small at 5' 3" and roughly 100 lbs. Alessa has a clear face and a fair complexion.

Personality:

Absent-minded, thoughtful, very trusting, likes the theory of 'magic' and 'fate,' innocent enough, but she can get sarcastic and blunt at times. She is sometimes considered Emo, but she isn't, really. She doesn't care much for fashion, and usually doesn't stray from her t-shirt, jeans and black Converse high-tops. She loves sketching things, and is a very good artist. Alessa doesn't like cars, and she gets carsick easily. She has to keep an eye on the road to tell her that she isn't in the air.

Personality: Sweet and quiet. Prefers to keep to herself but her happy personality generally attracts people and she makes friends easily. Although she puts on a happy face and is nice to everyone she meets, she is worried inside and it is making her sick. Her fiancee has been missing since she made it to the haven. They were running from a Seeker and he got lost. She didn't notice until she got rid of the seeker. She made it to the haven but hasn't told anyone; she can't stand sympathy. plus, she has heard many stories from the other runners and all that they have lost, and doesn't want to seem like her problems are worse. She helps around the haven as much as she can, especially looking after the kids. She loves kids and her and her fiancee were talking about having them after they were married.

Just wanna say, love The Host and i'm sooo glad you didn't take the story exactly. I hate it when that happens and it's just like re-writing the book or movie. Thanks for starting this =]
