Hi! SkyCladSaya06 here. Checking to see if anyone might be interested in a mecha RP. I've entitled the roleplay: Re-Union: The Expanding World

If anyone's familiar with this genre as I have, some elements may start to seem familiar at this point. Re-Union: The Expanding World is both a reboot and a remaster of my old RP Re-Union: Marriage of Sky and Earth which sadly, never got to see the light of day due to a lack of interest.

I've made several alterations to the original roleplay. The core idea is a conflict between two races: Transcendents and Humans. The original roleplay's setting is during the time where the two sides had crafted a pseudo-peaceful state in which the two sides have to hold off on attacking each other and concentrating on a minor common enemy before the time comes when the two worlds must separate.

In this altered version, the two sides are in a temporary ceasefire as they buy time to establish new territories and extract additional resources.

The scope had been significantly altered as well. The original one had a larger scope where anything can happen. At that time, the rp lacked a clear direction it is supposed to take as a result. This time, the story had been narrowed down to the voyage of Earth's expedition ship and the Transcendent unit that was pursuing them. Smaller scale but one that may give a better direction.

Aside from the main territorial strife the story is now revolving upon, I've also decided to keep the odd developments within the Transcendents and the Humans as a possible subplot. Mecha RPs do not constantly need to be at war and conflict all the time.

The addition of roles is quite new as well as I don't usually like assigning roles to people. However, I have encountered situations where some characters play the same role making it difficult to take note of their contributions. The addition of this role slots that need to be filled will hopefully secure some more variety when it comes to characters.

Currently, there's 8 roles that need filling, 4 on each side. Password is your favorite robot or mecha series.

For images, I prefer anime FCs though they don't need to be of a particular character. Not going to be too strict on the mecha as long as the specs are reasonable enough and hopefully, avoids the concern presented above. Will not be requiring a specific character sheet as long as the needed information are there.

Currently have two Transcendent players, one reservation and one WIP. Need a human slot filled to balance it out first.

If there are any questions, I can be reached via PM or the RP's OOC. I really want the RP to take off at least.

Update January 04, 2015: Six roles left, 3 on each side. For the Transcendent side, I need another Ace Pilot, a veteran and a newcomer. On the Human side, two ace pilots and a newcomer.
