Artist Request - Maps

I need an artist to help me sort of adjust/fix a map. Basically, I drew a map via GIMP, which is like Photoshop but for the less professional folks. My problem right now is I want to sort of zoom in on particular sections and add more details like geography or cities or political borders.

If anyone can help me with that either by doing it themselves or guiding me through the process, that would be great.
Like a stranger on a grate, or a skylark, or a taper, flying ever upward and knowing of love's satiety. Our dreams beyond the Sun and into the expanse of Night doth sound a quiet hymn.

Probably, I'll just redraw it by your reference. I'm away over the next week but have a free week after that.
